But they don’t ring by themselves up high in the bell tower lives the mysterious bell ringer…

This creature was abandoned at least, according to Archdeacon Frollo and his brother The Judge.

They claim the boy was found in the donation box, his mother having abandoned him for his ugliness, and in an act of charity and politics the brothers' took the boy in and raised him as their own.

The Archdeacon letting him live in the bell tower where he may do no harm, wail the Judge uses his supposed kindness to bring his reputation to a higher influence.

They named the boy a cruel name, one that means "half formed" Quasimodo.

Only they know what really happened to his poor mother, and it is a secret they shall keep to their graves.

No ones dares to visit Quasi or even look at him, they know he is deformed. But even though this is a lie! The Archdeacon and the Judges' influence is to great for anyone to believe otherwise.

So Quasimodo has been left alone for the twenty years of his life. The boy now a man has even started to believe himself that he is ugly and deformed!

Ava danced in the town square, her bare feet ghosting over the coblestone streets. Dancing was a passion of hers. The music being played flooded through her veins.

Clopin moved quickly threw the busy streets, working the crowds as he moved. He quickly sow Ava dancing and headed towards her knowing the people would be to entranced to notice a few francs go astray from their pockets. He noddled to her from the back of the crowd to continue.
