Alice grew up with a wealthy and very successful family in New York(Originated from England). She took care of her sister once she completed school until she went missing. Desperate, she searched and searched, eventually getting a tip from a mysterious person to go to Rapture. Soon, she prepared herself and took a bathysphere to Rapture, hoping to find her lost sister. She knew it wouldn't be easy, so she brought concealed weapons. She has been in Rapture for a year or two, unsuccessful to leave and only saw her sister from afar, climbing into a strange hole in a wall.

She wore a dress to Rapture, but eventually changed it to something more suitable to maneuver around in.
