Description

Reaver has a short, brown-haired business cut. He wears a short-sleeved white button-up shirt, which is stained with blood and unknown chemicals. Reaver has 2 notable features about him: His face, and his left arm.
Even looking like your average splicer, Reaver chooses not to wear a mask. He is aware of how he looks, and knows he brought it upon himself. He displays his face with pride. The skin over his right eye has completely covered the eye portion. He has a long scar running through his left eye, reaching down to his lips. His eye is a yellow-green color, and glows in the dark.

His arm is a different story. Reaver's arm is muscular, yet swollen. This is from one of his past experiments, which he deemed a success. His arm slightly increases the power of whichever plasmid he is using. Even with the increased power of plasmids, Reaver has side-effects from his arm. He constantly has fits of pain, and cannot use any plasmid during the fit. He also has occasional hallucinations, reaching further than the occasional ghost. He once saw the various glass chambers of rapture fall through and fill the area with blood, instead of seawater.

Personality

Reaver is secretive, yet kind and helpful. His past life had led him into a secluded life, branching out to the people who paid him to do inhumane science experiments. He spent many days alone, locked inside his apartment.
Reaver, after being the failed test experiment for his latest experiment, had found a new source of happiness. He gained a bit of his humanity back, and now wishes to help the Splicer population return to their original, peaceful selves.

Equipment

Reaver only has a lead pipe, a .357 magnum, and a pump-action shotgun for his physical weapons. As for plasmids, he only has 5. Four are for combat, and the last is to help his addiction and the people.

History

Reaver was a scientist, or the science experiment. Whichever you believe.

Due to an overwhelming fear of killing someone, human-Reaver used himself as a test subject for whatever science experiments he did. Atlas had recruited Reaver to find a way to make plasmids more effective. When Reaver found it, Jack had already come and gone through Rapture. With his own self to blame, Reaver became addicted to ADAM, but with the benefit of stronger plasmids and a laboratory in his own home.

One day, Reaver was attempting to make a plasmid that would allow him to drain corpses of ADAM, much like a Little Sister did. When he tested it, he found that he regained some of his humanity. Unfortunately, he still looked like a Splicer and had a craving for ADAM, yet he knew he could increase this concoction's effectiveness and restore himself to what he once was. Testing with ADAM Slugs and various other plasmids, his home was attacked and ransacked. Splicers had taken everything he had owned and forced him out of his own home.

Reaver now wanders the tunnels and buildings of Rapture, trying to find a suitable laboratory to create the cure for Rapture's Splicers, and end his ADAM cravings.
