Premise:
Set just after the events in Bioshock 2, the Little Sisters are now next to none, with the whole of Rapture devolving into gangs, all struggling for dominance and ADAM. Splicing has taken a new turn, as the denizens invent new plasmids and tonics in their desperation.

Big Sisters still lurk, their motivations unknown, and the Big Daddies aren't as numerous as they were before.

A man, who calls himself the 'Candy Man' has been sending out radio signals on certain frequencies, to those who would listen. Here, you could say, is where our story begins...

Take the role of one of the denizens of Rapture, as a group of them are brought together to survive! Will they escape to the surface, or claim Rapture as their own?

GM: None. Trakezavanen will act as a pseudo moderator/GM.
His character is a clue-giver entity, similar to Atlas.

Applications closed until further notice.
When submitting your character, post it in the OOC first, and then submit via the character tab. As there's no real moderator/GM, application functions by general consensus. In other words, if no one has any issues with your character, it'll be approved. Give it about a day for everyone to look at your character.

1: No God mode-ing, which applies everywhere really, and that means no 'My character adversely harms your character' posts. 'My character attempts to adversely harm your character' posts are good ones.

Feel free to create a plasmid/tonic of your own - but if they're ludicrously powerful it will be considered God mode-ing. Suggestion: If you want a really powerful plasmid, create a very bad side effect to counter it!

2: Any type of character that can be found in Rapture is playable (Splicers, Big Daddies, Big Sisters etc), but keep things sensible! Don't go creating a god-like character with supreme powers without a flaw! Ultimately, these kind of characters can get boring, and don't really contribute to the RP as they can do everything. Think of your fellow players; they want to have fun too!

*** A note on the Big Daddy characters: They should be incapable of speech, and should communicate via alternate means. Big daddies can resist *Hypnotize big daddy* if they have good willpower, though they will have mild mental strain for a short while. *Hypnotize big daddy +* can be resisted only to a short extent.


4: If you have too many gene tonics and plasmids, you become crazed. The more splicing, the more crazed.

5: Use only low caliber weapons while in the bridges connecting buildings. shotguns, launchers, trap bolts, and the sonic boom plasmid are a no go in there. It's only glass after all.

6: Combat functions by every player taking turns to create an 'encounter' where appropriate; meaning it's up to one player to set up what they are fighting. Then the other players will decide how it turns out. Remember about God mode-ing!

7: Not a rule, but a suggestion: Limiting IC posts to about 1-2 per day. It's so all the players would have the chance to participate (different lifestyles, timezones, work obligations, etc). If a player doesn't post within 24 hours, then their 'turn' is forfeited, and other people can continue posting.

"God fuckin dammit!" James yelled. "There's to many of them we need to retreat to the batyspheare" Tucker said. The two were off only turning around to shoot incoming splicers.

As James and Tucker arrived at the bathyspheare they noticed that it was still gone. "Shit" James whispered. The two turned around only to be comfronted by many splicers. A crobar weilding splicer approached Tucker hitting him knocking him out. "Motherfucker!" James yelled as he put four bullets into the splicers head. More and more splicers were coming and James knew this was one of those moments where someone should save his sorry arse.

Micheal sat in the bathysphere enjoying the peaceful silence with his eyes closed, while he reminisced in his hazy unclear memories. slowly nodding off to sleep Micheal was plunged into a dream of some sort.

Micheal was walking down a corridor, Everything was hazy, and all of his big daddy emotions that weighed him down were now gone. Micheal looked at his hands, and saw bare skin. He was no longer wearing his big daddy suit. He was free! Micheal sighed deeply out of satisfaction as he continued to walk towards the the end of the hallway. A figure at the end beckoned him, and the only features he could envision about the figure was It's outline. It reached out for him, it was beckoning him with a hand outstretched to him. Micheal was halfway through the hall way before he heard weeping sounding from behind him.

Micheal spun around and saw Yena, and Hope with tears in their eyes at the other end of the hallway, and when he saw the pair his memories came crashing back to him. I can't leave them.... They stood in front of a dark rusted over common bulkhead you would usually find in Rapture. They were looking at him with longing eyes full of hurt. Micheal opened his mouth to say something, but the only thing that came out was a whale like moan. His eyes rapidly moved around when a porthole obscured his vision. Micheal looked down at his hands and saw the armored gloves back on. Micheal looked at the figure one last time before he heard dream Hope say something that he would never forget. "Won't you save me daddy?" She said in the sad voice of a normal girl, while tears streamed down her cheek. Yena stood like a guardian angel over Hope, and gazed at Micheal with confusion, she mirrored the motion as the other figure on the other side of the hallway.

She reached out to him and uttered one word in the form of a question. "Micheal?" Yena whispered.

Micheal spun around and sprinted to Yena, and Hope; leaving the figure on the lighter side of the hallway by itself. Micheal reached out for the pair as his dream faded into darkness.....

Micheal woke up with a start, and his eyelids fluttered open. Looking around in confusion Micheal realized they were in the bathysphere still. Micheal let his head rest against the back of his seat and gave a sigh of relief. It was just a bad dream.... Micheal reassured himself as he looked outside the window of the bathysphere to see that they were almost to Apollo square. Micheal put his helmet back on and fastened it down. As he was doing this the voices of his dream were still echoing in his mind, unable to shake the feeling that he was forgetting something.

((I hope you guys didn't mind if I added a dream to mine, as I thought my post would've been a little to dry without it))

I clumsily juggled the shotgun in my hands before catching it... backwards. I dropped the gun, unintentionally flipping it and conveniently firing a shot into the kneecap of the wrench wielding splicer. My spirits raised a split second before a pipe descended onto my shoulder, causing a severe jet of pain to course through my arm. I cried aloud and thrust my palm at the offending brute, letting loose a great freezing ball into his chest. As the splicer was encased in a heavy ice tomb, I panicked as I saw the another splicer readying a familiar green ball at a Rosie. I hurriedly picked up the shotgun and took aim, when the wrench-wielding splicer took a shot at the back of my knee, "I'll kill you, ya damned freak!" It yelled. I collapsed forward and rolled onto my back. I aimed at the thuggish splicers head, and fired the other shell...

Hope watched out the window waiting for the stop at Apollo Square. When she saw it coming in the distance she filled with terror. There were splicers and they were attacking something...wait no make that two things. She stuck her face to the back of the cage to look out the window. "Yena! We have to help them!" She yelled as she climbed back to the front of the cage. The bathysphere came to a halt in front of the gory scene but the doors remained closed. She looked, there were two men one was unconscious and the other was fighting off a large group of splicers. "Yena we have to let them in! Open the door! Their going to die otherwise!" She yelled as she looked at the handle that would open the door. She couldn't reach it from her cage. She looked back out the window at the man and gave a worried look.

James didn't know what to do he was against a horde of splicers looking around for something he could use, he tried to look at the three figures in the bathyspheare but he didn't want to take his attention away from the fight. James thought of his dad this brought anger and guilt into his mind as more splicers approached an uncontrollable rage entered his head.

Epsilon

The trek across the connecting tunnel was longer than one would expect. Unlike the smaller tunnels between buildings of the same section the city, this longe tunnel connecting Ryan's Retreat(and the buildings surrounding it) to Pauper's Drop stretched a good ten times longer than that. Along the way there were various hubs that divided the pathway into sections. The first one they ran into had sealed it's self as soon as Ryan's Retreat did. It took Epsilon longer to get this door open than it did the other.

Unlike previous door, in which he just smashed open, he had to use finesse. Compromising the time even further was that he could not directly control the door the way he could a security drone, turret, or any other various machines that occupied the city. With its simple mechanical lock and opening mechanism Epsilon had to go around it in a different way.

Hijacking a camera on the other side, he could sense the device, he was able to see the control panel and emergency override switch. With the camera in his control he could call security drones to his will, and with that fooled the machines into thinking the switch and panel was an intruder. Bullets holes riddled through it, the door slammed open. Continuing onward, Epsilon sealed the door way by pulling the two massive bulk heads down and back into place against each other. Jamming a large pipe in the doors gears kept it from opening again. With the door sealed, Pauper's Drop would not lock down, making his path easier.

Yena saw the fighting and her porthole turned red "Hope....she down inside of the cage. Do not open your eyes...this will get ugly. Very ugly" At the same moment she flipped the switch to open the door. She gave a loud Big Sister shriek and looked at the first Splicer that came into her sight and charged at him, stabbing the needle into it. She looked at the others while she drew the ADAM from the wriggling man. She hoped this display would scare off the splicers. She didnt want to endanger Hope. She looked at Michael with a nod "Give me a hand Mr. Bubbles......kill the Splicers"

"Give me a hand Mr. Bubbles......kill the Splicers," As soon as Yena said those words something triggered inside his suit. Micheal shook with rage as a red haze coated his vision. Kill! that word echoed in great intensity inside of Micheal's helmet. Micheal gave a loud war cry and charged at the nearest splicer impaling it on his drill. The splicers blood fell onto Micheal's already blood red porthole. Micheal gave another roar as he charged into a larger group of splicers after flinging the dead splicer off of his drill, Micheal brought his free hand down on the nearest splicer breaking his neck. Micheal brought his drill down on another splicer; cleaving the top of it's head open. With precision and rage Micheal kicked a splicer into a near by pillar. Micheal drilled through another splicer, and threw him at one of the retreating splicers. One of the braver splicers brought a wrench to the top of his helmet which did next to nothing. Micheal stomped on the splicers foot crushing it. Micheal's Red blood haze deepened as he picked the splicer up by the neck and choke slammed him onto the ground. When Micheal only saw retreating splicers, and dead splicers strewn around Yena Micheal turned on the stranger raising his drill to deliver a killing blow. No! don't do it! Micheal urged himself. Micheal trembled form the effort of stopping his drill arm. He quickly threw the drill off of his arm while turning away from the stranger. "Arghhhhhhh!" Micheal screamed trying to shake the blood haze out of his vision. Micheal pressed his hands on both side of his helmet trying to dispel his unquenchable rage. Micheal shook as he knelt down and looked around for more splicers. Whats happening to me? Micheal thought bleakly as he breathed heavily, and looked at the ground trying to shake the urge to kill from his mind.

Hope closed her eyes as Yena had told her too. She hid in the back of the cage with her eyes tightly shut, at that moment she heard the doors open. Yena gave a big sister screech and Hope shuddered a bit. She tried to block out the gushing sounds of blood and the thudding of dead bodies hitting the floor. She heard Yena ask for help from Mr. Bubbles she heard his battle cry and another shudder ran through her body. "Make it stop please make it stop." She whispered shaking her head. Cautiously she opened her eyes and immediately wished she hadn't Micheal was killing off splicers left and right and Yena and her were surrounded by dead bodies. Her breath stopped when Micheal raised his drill above the strangers head. "NO!" Hope screamed pushing the front of her cage. She didn't know what to do, Micheal had torn of his drill and had ran over to a corner. The stranger was by his friend and for a moment her eyes met with his. She placed a hand onto the cage trying to see what he was but she found herself falling downwards.

Hope hit the bloody floor with a thud. "Dumb cage." She said as she slowly stood up trying to wipe off the blood from her elbows. She looked back at the cage, the lock had come undone which happened usually now since it was getting rusty. She was about to crawl back in to the cage but she looked back at the...man...splicer? She wasn't sure. She stopped for a moment and took a step forward. She could tell from his eyes that he was horrified, she couldn't blame him. She walked over to him at first slowly and then ran over. "Th-th-they don't w-want to hurt you m-m-mister." She stuttered. Half of her was nervous and thinking this wasn't such a good idea but the other half was curious and somewhere in the pit of her stomach she knew that he didn't want to hurt her.

This gave James relief but he still had some fear in his eyes and anyone who looked him straight in the eyes could easily notice that. James looked at the big daddy that could have easily killed him. "What kept you from killing me?" James said to see if the big daddy could understand him.

"We need to check him." James said gesturing at Tucker. He approached Tucker. "Tucker? Tucker? Wake up." James said.
Tucker responded he slowly opened his eyes and looked around. Tucker jumped when he saw the big sister and big daddy.
"What the hell!?" Tucker yelled as he noticed them. "Its okay." James said trying to calm Tucker down. "I don't think they're going to kill us." James said almost sounding worried.

Yena looked down at Hope, walking towards her and picking her up, eyeing the two men before her "What are you two doing here? You shouldnt even be here..." She grabbed her cage and reattached it, resealing the rusted hinges and put Hope inside "There....all nice an safe for Hope..." She smiled inside her helmet and looked back at the other two, sniffing them softly and sighed, they didnt have any ADAM on them and were therefore useless in food sense. Slowly she undid the locks on her helmet and took it off, putting it under her arm. To the men, she would seem about 18 years old, raven black hair and the same sickly yellow eyes in her head, the same as the Little Sisters. She looked at Michael and walked to him "If they move to hurt us....kill them" She turned to regard the two "So...who are you two? And why are you down here?"

A hand, a simple hand in a warped dreamscape. Reaching out it grabbed something hidden by blackness. Music starts to play in the air as the vision clears to reveal a jubilant gathering in a grand ball room.

Give it time, all the time in the world
If you give me your heart, we'll give it a whirl
Give me your love, and I'll give you mine
It's so simple, it's just time


Focusing, the vision clears enough to make out the shape of a fine dressed lady holding another's hand. The tempo slows down to a slow, soft rhythm. The women leans closer in. She whispers, "...ove you forever, my sweet doctor."

Epsilon was sharply snapped out of his, for lack of a better word, vision when his towering stature had klunked itself against the bulkhead frame that opened up to Pauper's Drop. The metalic ringing echoed in what seemed to be an abandonded district. It was too quite for Epsilon's liking. Looking back behind him, which took him turning his entire body to do, he wondered if his tag-alongs had been in step. Quickly thinking about it, he wasn't sure if he cared or not that they were. His destination was still the same.

Lumbering along, the massive mighty man, if he could be called that now, searched the area for any sign of life. He quickly found that nothing was here of value. He was aware of a few splicers here but they were in hiding. Having no little sister, Epsilon's intimidating size would probably suppress any needless attacks by the local ruffians.

With that he continued along his way, towards Apollo's Square.

"If they move to hurt us....kill them" Micheal winced as Yena used the 'K' word again. For the word threatened to overcome him, and it made it so his Big daddy side began to take over once more. Micheal fought the bid daddy urges away until his blood rage fully subsided. He sighed in relief, and retrieved his drill. He hovered behind Yena, and remained as the ever vigilant protector that the scientists had intended him to be. He preferred to ignore James's last question, for Micheal had no way of answering it. Silently he contemplated on his big daddy conditioning, and wondered if it was unraveling further, for If he was able to break the hold on the blood rage without a key word then he might be effectively combating it.

James continued to talk, and he explained his predicament. Micheal was tempted to kill the man before, but now that he was so close to Yena, and Hope the urge tempted him again, though it was more subtle this time therefore being much easier to show no problems on the outside, and urges were easily quelled on the inside.

Micheal was tempted to greet the man, but Micheal knew that, that particular goal was out of reach. Brian's Porthole flickered green, then assumed it's normal yellow color.

Before Hope could ask a question Yena swooped her up and placed her in the basket. Hope craweled to the back, crossed her arms and sighed. "Dumb cage." She said under her breath.

"So we told you about us. where are you heading?" One of the men asked. Hope saw no harm in telling them even though Yena would probably want her to keep it a secret but it wasn't like they were going to get there now anyways.

"Well we were gonna go to Apollo square because of the radio transmission but I guess that's not happening now." Hope sighed and shook her head. The one chance they had of changing this hell was gone now it would be back to hiding and trying to stay alive and Hope would never become an actual little girl. She would never grow, never fall in love like Micheal and Yena were, never fight for herself like everyone else did and never have a real family.

"I think you're the first people we've seen who haven't tried to kill us." The other man said, looking at Hope. She didn't really know what to do so she smiled but she kept her mouth closed her teeth weren't really all that great. She crawled to the front of the cage and sat crossed legged.

"We can say the same for you two." Hope said still smiling.

"Yena at least let me keep the door open please? I feel like your pet." Hope said in a somewhat whiny voice.

James thought the little girl was extremely cute, and when James narrowed his eyes on the "Big Sister" he thought she was the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. "So you guys are heading to Apollo square, well maybe we could tag along. Don't worry we wouldn't plan on betraying you. I mean you're more dangerous then we could ever be." James said.

"So uh you want to leave or do you want to wait for another horde of splicers to show up?" James said looking at Tucker.
"Yeah I think it's best we go. I hate splicers." Tucker said returning a gaze back at James. James grabbed his pistol from its holster, he reloaded it and waited for a response from the three that just saved his arse.

As the smaller more frail normal men talked with Yena, and Hope Micheal stayed silent never switching his gaze away from the two before him. Micheal idly nodded his head. He attempted to itch the side of his head, and then realized he had his helmet on. Micheal chuckled when he realized that it seemed as if he had itched the side of his armored helmet. He undid the air hoses to reveal his gaunt features, yet gentle eyes. He undid the bandages on his head, and felt the wound that had assailed him only minutes ago. He felt the side of his head, and noticed that it was completely smooth For a moment a surprised look took a hold of his facial features. Enhanced healing...... I can get used to this. Micheal mused. He tossed the bandages off of his head, and itched the spot he had intended to itch moments before.

"Yena at least let me keep the door open please? I feel like your pet." Hope said in a somewhat whiny voice.

Micheal chuckled again as Yena opened the cage for her. He continued to look at Yena for a moment with a warm look in his eyes before turning his gaze back to James, and Travis.
"Yea...we are heading that way and you can tag along...but either of you make a move to take Hope away.." Micheal added to this by revving his drill up twice before switching it off.

Micheal placed his helmet back on, and followed closely behind Yena acting as a iron shadow.

Okay, as I have said before, pertaining that I will create a Bioshock Rp, but at the time was not able to. Now I am and want all who have participated in Rapture Drowning to join. So far I've only got the Interest check up but hopefully I will get the Rp tab up soon once I see interest in it.

Nah, shouldn't be. Atomic's got his so it starts before the whole series and then jumps to just before BS2, so I don't think it'll be much of a problem.

Alright guys, I will make the Bioshock roleplay.
Here's the background: The story starts in 1959 at the Kashmiere Resturant, agent Brian Davidson (me)
and another agent Gabrielle Jackson (Death101) are to hunt down and kill Atlas and Ryan in order to bring peace to Rapture. Of course the assassination goes wrong and the two have to into hiding. During the whole time you guys are free to do whatever you want. Then we fast foward to 1968 once everyone agrees to this, and we basicly have our story of escape, betrayel, and survival from there on.

But on the topic of Bioshock Infinite, Atomic pretty much hit the nail on the head. Columbia was a city built by America to show case American expectionalism and then sent over seas on a round-the-world diplomatic voyage similar to Great White fleet. The only probelm was that the city was armed to the teeth and was practicly a floating death star. The other countries didn't like that very much, it kind of was like America was saying "We're Beyond You". Blah blah blah, a few years laters and a falling out with Washington, the city disappears and goes rogue and you play a Pinkerton agent tasked with resquing this one chick and blah blah blah. It's going to be great though, I can't wait.

Basicly it's not Bioshock 3 it is pretty much a prequel to the Bioshock series. Called Bioshock Infinite. It takes place in 1912 MANY years before Rapture, It is on the floating city of Columbia, a place free from illiegal aliens it is strictly American only, anyone who is not American will "be made an example of" in front of the population.

Also on the subject of creating a new Bioshock Rp, I'll be able to do it but not with in the next few weeks or even maybe a month. If we want to get a new one started right away, some one else will have to do it them selfs. For sure though I will be joining regardless as well as helping out in what ever administrative duties need to be done (much like what I've done for Rapture Drowning, sending Pms and making sure people are still interested). That way who ever is GM of the next one can focus on plot/story creation and other more important things.
