Description

Ryu is 25 years old, stands at 6 foot 4 inches, and has a strong, fit build. There is no mistaking his strength, as he often wears a form fitting black, sleeveless shirt, along with black jeans, black fingerless gloves, and on occasion, a trench coat. His hair is brown and shaggy, hanging all about his face, and his eyes are red, because of the contacts he wears, and look like the eyes of a dragon. To further support his nickname, Dragon Blade, he has a large Japanese dragon tattooed on his back.

Personality

Ryu is the strong silent type. Very loyal to his gang, as well as protective, which has made him one of the best members of the guards. Like many he hates the Bloody Lions and thinks the Guild of Blades are a bunch of weaklings. He loves to fight and rarely looses.

Equipment

To anyone else the naginata Ryu carries would probably be useless, but he is a master, and this is all he ever carries as far as weapons

History

Ryu Nagaku was born Romeo Neilson, but that changed when, at the young age of ten, he lost his family and ran away from his foster home to wind up in Abladeboro. the first gang he ran into was the Guild of Blades, and he spent a few years with them, but even when he was just a kid he felt they were a bunch of weaklings, so he soon chose another gang, the Rising Suns, because they promised him any weapon he wanted, as long as he remained loyal to them. He chose the naginata and a new name to go along with it. Over the years he mastered his weapon and fighting styles and moved up in the ranks, becoming Shogun Sam's right hand man, as well as the leader of the Sun Guards, those who patrol the streets nearly all day and night.

The first time he met Vincent Margrave the two got into a fight, almost killing one another, and became rivals. The Baroness flat out kicked his ass one time, breaking several ribs, and she he respects her completely and over all doesn't bother her anymore. Leon tried to recruit him once, and when he idn't join men were sent to kill him, but they died instead. Alan, of the Guild of Blades, keeps trying to get him to return to their guild and help them out, but he refuses.
