Birth Name: Benjamin Frank Houghman

Pseudonyms or Stage Names: Wraith (his stage name, but no one in his band actually calls him that), Benji, Ben

Birthdate: Febuary 15, 1992

Role: Drummer. He has a VERY basic knowledge of most instruments (guitar, bass, his mother's clarinet, a sax he saw at school one day and decided it wasn't loved enough, a kazoo he got for his fourth birthday and never lost or threw away [;D], and the others he found at his school), as he can kinda play scales on them, but he's only ever been able to master the drums.

Appearance: Benji likes bright. His favorite color is tied between yellow, orange, or bright green, though he really just loves most bright colors. He likes tighter fitting things or very loose, though never jeans or things made from non-giving material. He likes to be able to move. That usually leaves him in cargo pants, bright colored suits that are always a little too big, tight running shirts, he's even been seen in gold M.C. Hammer pants once or twice.

Personality: Benji in one word would be quirky. Of course, that would be leaving out one of his main traits, caring. Benji is a weird, loving, dorky, playful, caring, different, thoughtful boy whose body kept growing even though his mind stopped around age 12. This is largely due to the fact that Benji actually has low functioning aspergers, which is a more social oriented version of autism. Benji is usually a kind and thoughtful guy, but he's fixates on drums. Luckily, he's in a situation where that works for him, but when the band begins to argue, he only amplifies the problem by getting equally, if not more, angry over something that may not have anything to do with him, but is making it so he can't play the drums when he wants to. He's been known to storm out of many a rehearsal due to this.

Likes and Dislikes: Benji likes anything with a strong beat, though he prefers rock because he can usually hear the drums very easily.

Playing Style: Benji plays to the song. The more upbeat and wild the song, the more wild and upbeat his playing gets. Though he almost never misses a beat. His playing is significantly more subdued for softer songs.

History: Benji doesn't talk about his past much. All the band knows is that he has no parents that they know of, but there's one person, Hallie, that he always writes handwritten letters to every other week, but never sends. What it is that thy don't know is that Benji lost his parents at about 10 years old. From then on, his older sister, Hallie, who was 19, tried to take care of him, but his adolescent years were extremely hard to deal with. He often threw tantrums and refused to help out around the little apartment they had. They made it through, though, helped significantly when Benji's school had a huge donation of musical instruments to support the arts when Benji was 15. Hallie encouraged Benji to find an instrument he liked. It took a few weeks, but Benji finally fell in love with the drums. His aggression fell more and more as he learned more about how to play and did so with increasing frequency. However, the old issues popped up again and Benji began his aggressive streak, renewed. Within weeks of this development, Hallie left without a word. The only things she left behind were Benji's things and a huge wad of cash that could support him for three or so years in that apartment. Benji never knew how she got the money or where she went, but he tried to fill the hole she left with drumming and has yet to stop.
