Ronin walked around Karakura Town aimlessly. Why he picked this place out of all places to hide from the Soul Society was beyond him, but he wasn't going to think about that. He walked past all the bystanders on the sidewalk, passing various shops and restaurants along the way. He didn't know what he was doing really. Maybe he just wanted a walk, maybe he had somewhere he had to go, but didn't know where. He just kept moving, not looking at anyone, just staring straight ahead. His gigai still felt strange to him, even after having it for ten years. He wanted to break free of his false body right now, but couldn't risk exposure. If he were to go into Soul Reaper form, the Soul Society might be able to track him down. He just kept walking.
A loud boom could be heard across the street. He looked, and it seemed like a building had just exploded. People were screaming and panicking, but he stood there, watching. Out of the smoke came a Hollow. He got into his stance, but stood up, realizing he couldn't do anything. He ran, like the rest of the civilians around him. He wondered how long it would take the Soul Society to react to this. He just kept running.

Ai ren paced hurriedly along the streets of Karakura Town as she moved her arms around her uncomfortably. It wasn't easy getting used to the gigai they had made for her and she couldn't help but bump into the others who were walking the opposite direction. The unfriendly strangers turned around to scowl at her unusual appearance and she glared back in return. The soul reaper sighed and pushed back a strand of black hair from her face, staring into the clear, blue sky. She had been sent to track down and retrieve a rogue shinigami who had been sighted walking around the town. Ai ren personally thought this mission was pointless and a waste of time.. she had better, more important tasks at hand that had been pushed back because of her target. She grimaced at she realized she had no say in the matter and continued to move onwards. People stared and seemed to shy away from her as the could sense she was different from the rest. Ai rolled her eyes.

Ai ren was just about to snap at a young boy for gawking at her until a loud BOOM startled her out of her silent fury. As a reflex, her hands quickly shot up to her ears and she cringed at the sudden sound. She knew this was not an ordinary occurrance that happened every day in the human world as civilians ran past her, screaming and panicking. "A hollow?!" Without hesitation, Ai ren sprinted towards the opposite direction which the people were running with her hand on the hilt of her sword at all times. She grabbed a random red haired man who wore goggles and an attire that was slightly out of place. Although, her outfit was a bit out there, too. Shaking off the curiousity, Ai clutched the man's shoulder and shouted in his ear against the screaming humans. "Hey, you! I can tell you're not from around here.. are you a soul reaper? Do you think you can help?"

Ronin thought the girl was about to take him in when she inquired about him being a Soul Reaper. But when the words "do you think you can help?" came out of her mouth, he was slightly relieved. He totally didn't have time for this, and he wondered if she even knew who he was. Either way, he popped his Soul Candy in and allowed the mod soul to take over his gigai. "Get the hell outta here!", he shouted. He took a stance, creating a crater in the ground. He pushed off the ground, flying toward the Hollow's head. He landed roughly on the demon's face, making it angry. It swung an open hand at Ronin, who caught it with his own, holding it back. Ronin raised his fist into the air, bringing it down onto the Hollow's skull and breaking through it. The monster roared in agony, and started to dissapate.
Ronin hopped down and looked at the Soul Reaper, dusting his hands. "What do you think?" he said, answering her question.

Mokomai Haeseo looked onward with her typical fatigued look. She already had her sword unsheathed and was prepared to attack the hollow. But before she could move from her perch upon a building, the hollow began to dissipate. Witnessing this, she slowly sheathed her sword and gave the area a double-take. She opened her mouth a bit, as if to speak to herself, then she leaped off the building and called open a Senkai gate. A hell butterfly slowly fluttered out and carefully landed on her right shoulder. She softly brushed it off and rustled the armless sleeve. She made her steps to the gate slowly, then the hell butterfly followed in its noiseless flight. Soon, the gate closed and the World of the Living was one less Shinigami.

Ai ren replied by giving him a wordless look of surprise and quickly hid her expression with an artificial mask of wariness. She gripped the hilt of her sword and examined him carefully as it dawned upon her that the stranger could be a potential enemy as she had never seen or felt his presence in Soul Society. She suddenly swirved backwards and gazed at the top of the building as the feeling of another, more familiar, presence swept over her. It had been too late to identify the woman, as Ai ren only saw the last remnants of the gate disappear from the world. It looked like she was on her own to deal with the lone soul reaper. Her gaze lingered on the empty blue space where the presence had faded and reluctantly turned away to face the stranger.

"You're a good fighter.. even if you're probably my enemy." she said slowly, carefully choosing the words so as not to alarm him and cause her to fail her mission. "I've been asked to capture you, although I have no wish to fight you. If you resist, be warned that I will take you down immediately."

Ronin stood there. "I have no idea what you're talking about", he said. She knows, he thought. He stared at her, and it seemed like she wouldn't believe him. He was about to turn away, when all of a sudden.
BOOM.
Another explosion erupted from the buildings. Emerging from the debris and smoke, came another Hollow. Ronin looked at this Hollow carefully, noting that it wasn't normal: It's body was jet-black, and it had glaring red eyes through the eye holes of a steel mask. It was the weirdest creature. But Ronin was going for it. He rushed the giant spider-like demon, jumping onto it's mask with enough force to knock a normal Hollow to the ground. This thing didn't even stumble, and shook Ronin around violently. He held on tight, not letting go of the beast's face. He raised his fist again, and brought it down hard onto the Hollow's mask.
He got nothing out of it. He tried, over and over again, raising his spiritual pressure gradually each time. When he got his spiritual pressure to maximum, he jumped back. "Tenkamusou!" he roared, blasting a blue wave of raitsu at the monster. Smoke clouded the entire place, and Ronin couldn't see a thing.
He was hit from out of nowhere. The Hollow was still alive, and very pissed. Ronin lay on the ground, sitting up and staring at the Hollow. As it brought down one of it's razor-sharp claws, Ronin rolled backward, out of reach from another attack. He stood, not knowing what to do next. Then, he got an idea.
He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, allowing his spiritual pressure to rise and gathering raitsu from the atmosphere around him. "BANKAI!" he shouted. Overpowering energy took over. Ronin's forearm length bracers were now only cuffs, emitting a golden, spikey energy flowing up Ronin's arms. He burst forward toward the Hollow again. "Gojou!" he said, punching the Hollow in the face. The mask completely shattered, and the Hollow began to die. Ronin watched as several white entities flew from the Hollow's body:
Souls.

Inari sat on the swing in the park and let herself move through the air like a pendulum, She was in her gigai, dressed in a small black dress with little white shoes for her tiny feet. She watched the soul of the little boy play in the sand box before her. It was only a matter of time until-

URWOOOAAHH. 3 centipede hollows burst out of the ground around the sand box and lunged at the little boy to find him missing. Inari stood and easily balanced on the swing's top bar that held the swing set together, her gigai next to her and the little boy under her left arm. The hollows screamed again and instead of charging at Inari they burst together and formed a new hollow.

It small Cero which flew quickly at Inari. Caught off guard Inari knocked the Cero back with her zanpakto, but in the confusion had dropped the boy soul. Cursing Inari moved like a flash and appeared behind the hollow -shunpo-. The hollow split in half and disintegrated. Inari grabbed the screaming boy and stamped him on the forehead with the back of her zanpakuto -Konso- The boy disappeared.

Inari slipped back into her gigai and halted in her tracks. She felt a strong reiatsu nearby and moved down towards where she felt it in her gigai form.

He was moving from building trying to find Lieutenant Ai ren. She took off with out him as usual and he was forced to find her. "She always does this." He stopped to get his take a look around. Trying to find her was always something of a challenge because she hid her reiatsu so well. He sighed again, "My m..." There was a sudden explosion and he felt a hollow. He made his way straight to it. "If anywhere she will go there." As he made his way He felt it disappear But was shortly replaced by another explosion and a even stronger hollow. "Whats going on." He landed on a building and watched as an unknown Shinigami fought it. With thew huge release of his bankai he destroyed it. It took his bankai. He saw Ai ren on the street below, he landed close by and walked up to her. "Is that the man, sir?"

It took Mokomai almost no time to have her orders reassigned. The bureau of research had been monitoring the situation and passed the orders to the captains of the Gotei 13. However, the other capable lieutenants were already on separate missions. As Mokomai is one of the rare few below captain level who has learned the basics of her Bankai, they sent her back to collect a sample of what the research bureau was monitoring. By sample, of course, Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi wanted a full specimen. Despite this, however, he did not feel the need to come to the World of the Living himself.

Mokomai stepped out from her Senkai Gate and it closed soon enough behind her. She leaped up to the top of a small dwelling and surveyed the distance. A building appeared to be smoldering in the distance. Reiatsu was strong here as well, both hollow and shinigami. As soon as she felt the reiatsu of a Bankai release, the unsheathed her sword and held it downward with her left hand. Then she started to make a run for the smoldering building as fast as she could.

A look of extreme annoyance flickered across her usually emotionless demeanor and disappeared as abruptly as it came. Ai ren sighed irritably and rubbed the back of her head in exasperation as she realized he wasn't going to be easy to handle. She narrowed her eyes in displeasure as another hollow surfaced and watched impatiently as the man crushed it as easily as the first.

Just as she was about to question the rogue further, a quiet thud was heard close to her. Ai ren smiled wistfully at the familiar presence and turned to look at Imura. "So you found me." she said casually, smiling a bit. Ai gestured toward the rogue lazily with her hand, "That's our target. He's putting up some resistance.. but fighting is our last resort. We have to capture him alive."

In the distance, Ai ren could faintly hear another battle beginning and ending. She frowned at the unusual happenings around the town.. it wasn't often so many hollows appeared in such short intervals. Whoever the person was.. they were bound to be heading this way due to the strong reiatsu the rogue was giving off. "Be on your gaurd." she advised Imura.

Ronin held his ground. "Look, I told you I don't know what you're talking about. What rogue are you saying I am?" Ronin was trying to cover himself, but he was sure his Zanpakuto gave his identity away. Still, there was the slim chance that she didn't know anything about him. He could feel the spiritual pressure of Hollows all around, rising and fading. He exhaled.
"Look, my name is Tsubasas Shioki. I'm a substitute Soul Reaper, okay?" Ronin stood there, wondering if she would buy his attempts to cover his ass. Maybe she'd leave him alone. Maybe he wouldn't have to fight.
Maybe he wouldn't have to kill another Soul Reaper.

Mokomai appeared next to Lieutenant Ai Ren and 5th seat Imura Moshi of the 7th division. Her flash step was always clumsy when coming to a stop, but decades of practice allowed her to clumsily stop almost gracefully. She held her katana in the same position she typically does and she stood in her, almost, lazy stature.

"I have been sent from the 12th division bureau of scientific research and development. I need to collect a hollow, can you tell me the situation and the location of my target?" She always had a monotonous tone.

She straightened her stance and looked out to the Shinigami in the weird clothing. He looked easy enough to capture, but that was not why she was there. Of course, if she was ordered by her lieutenant or captain, or any other higher ups, she would.

Imura nodded. They didn't them much information on there target, But they made sure to note a lot that he was dangerous. As he talked to Ai ren, Imura started to make his way around the rouge to get the advantage if he starts something...or Ai ren. "If thats true show use your substitute Soul Reaper badge." He waited for his reply.

Suddenly there was two more explosion, Imura only got the look of one of them. As he turned to the explosion as a hollow with a metal mask and a body like a giant ape suddenly grabbed him and throw him down the street. He was able to straighten him self and land on his feet, But as he skidded to a stop he hit a bump and fell backwards. Rubbing his back as he got up, "I hope no one saw that." He pulled out his Zanpakuto, It gave of a small glitter gleam in the sun. "Let it settle...Tasogare Hokori." It fell to dust in his hands and wasn't visible to anyone. He flash stepped to the hollow that throw him. Caming from the air he formed a short spear in his hand and landed on it. Grabbing the mask he started to drive the spear into it but with every hit all he got was nothing. It flailed about trying to dislodge Imura.

Dammit! I shoulda thought about that! he thought. He looked at the two Soul Reapers. One was circling around. Ronin planted his feet in the ground. "Tenkamu-" before he could finish summoning his attack, Ronin was caught off gaurd by two more explosions. He didn't stick around for this one. He booked, searching desperately for his gigai. He whistled loudly, and it appeared in front of him. He made his way in, forcing the mod soul out. He put the Soul Candy back in it's despenser, and tore through the streets of Karakura Town, not even looking back at the battle that was to ensue.

He eventually came to a park after running for so long. He sat down on a bench to rest. Looking around, he didn't see anybody near him. He felt like he could relax a bit.
For now.

"Scrape, Hidariwa Katto." Mokomai called and her sword reformed into the claws of her shikai. While this freed her hand, she turned to face another of the stronger hollow. It's mask shined brightly in the sunlight and the tall, cloaked body gave it the appearance of a Menos Grande, without the height.

The Menos-like hollow opened its hand and prepared a cero.

"Bakudo 81, Danku." A clear wall of energy appeared right in front of Mokomai just before a bright blue cero was released by the hollow.

"I'll capture this one, make haste any others. I doubt Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi wants to come here personally." The cero charged against the barrier and Mokomai sounded off an incantation. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six! Bakudo 61: Rikujōkōrō." With that, the hollow was caught in mid stride. Mokomai knew that wouldn't hold it though.

Inari stood in her Shinigami form her navy robes flapping in the cool night breeze. She watched the man sitting on the park bench, he was panting, he had ben running from something. She paused and realized it was a gigai. Inari walked along the swing set bar and pointed at the gigai. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!, Bakudō 9 , Hōrin (Disintegrating Circle)". The Ability Caused an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the inari's hand and attempted to trap her target. the end of it remains her hands allows her to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together. As the kido ability flew towards her target she shouted at him. "Don't resist, Ronin Kiushi"

"Ngh!" Ronin grunted as he barely escaped capture. He dove forward, rolling on the ground and halting in a crouched position. He couldn't afford to alert the other Soul Reapers to his location, so he remained in his gigai, and ran like hell. He looked behind him, and saw the Soul Reaper still chasing him. He picked up some sand from the ground. "Leave me the hell alone!" he said, tossing it at the Soul Reaper. He didn't know whether or not that did any good, but he kept running either way. He sped down the street quickly. He knew a place he could go if he needed to exit his gigai.

Ai ren held an expression of disbelief as the rogue ran away. "HEY, dammit.. WAIT!" she yelled at his back angrily. Looking back at Imura and the shinigami, she decided they would be fine on their own and released herself from her gigai with a loud BANG. "Sorry, Imura.. I'm gonna have to leave you again!" she called to him without looking back as she ran towards the direction of the rogue.

Ai ren sprinted along the streets, invisible to all who surrounded her. She drew her sword and skidded to a stop, almost crashing into a telephone pole. His reiatsu had disappeared.. probably in his gigai. "Tengoku Kasai," she whispered to herself as fire and warmth shrouded her body. Her sword had split into two ringlet blades that took shapes of crescent moons. She inhaled sharply and blazing, fiery wings sprouted from her back. They wouldn't last long, but it would help her find her target at a faster speed. Ai lifted into the air and flew above Karakura Town, scanning the vicinity from an high, aerial view.

After a while, she caught site of a flashing orange light that was definitely released by a shinigami. With a quick swoop, she dived and landed on her knees in front of the woman. Her wings disintegrated into ember sparks and she was once again, grounded.

The girl from earlier, the first one to try to capture him, arrived. Dammit. If it wasn't for those damn Hollows, I wouldn't be in this mess, he thought. I have no choice. I have to exit my gigai. Ronin pulled his Soul Candy dispenser from his pocket and ate the mod soul. Ronin's soul burst from the gigai, and the gigai stood there. "Get lost", Ronin said. The gigai bowed, and left. Ronin then turned to face the two Soul Reapers. "So, you two wanna dance, huh?" he said. He gathered his spiritual pressure, letting it build throughout his body. Unknown to those who haven't faced him in combat, Ronin had a spiritual pressure that rivaled, if not exceeded, that of Kenpachi Zaraki's. Ronin could have easily made captaincy of Squad 11, but out of good nature and respect for Captain Zaraki, he never challenged for the spot. Instead, he stayed at the 1st seat to lieutenancy.
Now, he found himself staring two insignificant Soul Reapers down. "Come on. Hit me!" he roared.

"I'm use to it!" He yelled after her. "What is this think?" He changed the spear to a dagger and started to slash at it to no effect. He jumped of it to the and off the side of the nearby build He formed something that looked like a sledge hammer with a spike on it. With the hollow some what confused he Brought it down ark on the mask. Again he hade no luck...even less. He wasn't able to get away in time and the hollow grabbed him. Swinging him around, The hollow slammed him into the street. Imura laid in a crater roughly his size.

After a second he sat up and taking in a breath. He hade formed a clear armor around his body that absorbed most of the damage, but it still hurt. The hollow lifted it fist and brought it down on him. He dodge just in time, making a sword he slashed its arm in two. He landed and turned around with a smirk. The arm closed together and started to heal. Crap. He thought he saw something on its mask, but it shot a cero at him he flash stepped to the top of a building. He got an idea. He jumped up, at the top of it he kick of the air and went higher.When he got so high that the hollow was a speck He stopped. On his right The dust started to form a spike, then it got thicker and thicker. The final product was a drill, It took up most of his arm and used up all the dust. He then let himself fall, forcing his reiatsu out He push him self into a spin. Hollow roared up at him and fired another cero. When the drill and cero connected The drill tor throw it.

He collided with the mask, Sparks flew.

As predicted, the medium level Kido spell lasted a whole thirteen seconds.

Mokomai needed to buy some time before she could perform any lower binding spell that would allow her to take it back. Worse case scenario, she's been given permission to use Kūkanten'i, the forbidden Spatial Displacement spell, to get it back to the Seireitei. It was surprisingly easy to get permission for this execution punishable spell to be allowed, but she is to use it only if there is no other option.

"Hado 4: Byakurai!" She pointed her clawed hand straight out and out of each sharp tip, erupted a single blast of lightning, combining halfway to their target, then blasting through the hollow's right shoulder, dislocating the arm. "Hado 54: Haien!" A purple energy unleashed shortly after the lightning and incinerated the hollow's right arm on impact.

The hollow disappeared from her sight, the reappeared behind her in a flash. Sonído. It smashed it's metallic mask against her back and sent her flying forward.

Akuma caught Mokomai with his left arm, stopping her from crashing into a nearby building. Akuma looked up at the new Hollow. "What the hell is that thing?" he asked Mokomai. The giant beast roared in anger. "Shut up" Akuma said. He lifted his Zanpakutou, pointing it at the Hollow. "Haibusa Dokkenko" he said. Suddenly, many copies of Akuma sprung up around the Hollow. However, these copies were more than just images; they were embodied copies of spritual pressure, so they could do real damage. They began to cut at the Hollow, who only batted them away, destroying them instantly. "Hm, that usually works".
Akuma flash-steeped to the ground and set Mokomai down. "In all my years as a Soul Reaper, I've never seen a Hollow like this one". He began getting annerved. He turned to Mokomai. "Get ready, I have an idea", he said.

"What's the plan?" Mokomai asked. "I need it alive, not destroyed," she added. She stood up and brushed a bit of dirt off her sleeve.

"Hm. Then prepare a Senkaimon. This is gonna get rough". Akuma rushed forward. "Bind with the chains of Death, Raijinbyoku!" With that, Akuma's Zanpakutou was released: a chain scythe. He ran around around the Hollow, dodging attacks and looking for weak spots. He found his opening after a failed attack by the Hollow. "Gageino-Tashi", he said. Instantly, the Hollow's shadow reached up and grabbed the monster, not letting it go. "Haibusa Dokkenko" he called, summoning forth the copies of himself. He commanded his replicas to throw their chains scythes at the Hollow and bind him, keeping him from moving. In order to do this, Akuma had to increase the velocity of his spiritual pressure, making the chains stronger and more durable. "Get that Senkaimon ready!" Akuma shouted. He then latched onto the Hollow with his own Zanpakuto, twisting it around. "Get ready!" he shouted. Whether or not Mokomai was ready, he kept spinning with the Hollow, ready to throw it through the Senkaimon. If Mokomai didn't have it up, the plan would fail. He gave her a few more minutes before releasing the Hollow, sending it flying through the air.

Ronin stood there, stunned. He sensed the presence of another Soul Reaper. It was-
No! Dammit, dammit, no! he thought. He had to get out of there quickly. He wished the Soul Reapers would do something. Instead, they continued to stare him down. He didn't have time for this. It was now or never. "Tenkamusou!" he shouted, releasing a wave of blue reiatsu at the two Soul Reapers.

Mokomai barely had enough time to open one large enough. She sliced the open air with her shikai released zanpakuto claws, which also acted as a focus for higher level kido spells for her, and a Senkaimon three times the size of a regular gate, opened up and admitted the hollow. A hell butterfly soon followed behind it. "Bakudō 63:Sajo Sabaku!" A binding of chains wrapped around the still flying hollow as it blasted to the other side of the gate. "Bakudō 62. Hyapporankan!" She threw a purple spear into the gate and pinned the, already heavily bound hollow, against a wall in the Seireitei.

"Got it. Thank you, Lieutenant Yoshi." Mokomai ran into the gate, accompanied by another hell butterfly and then the gate closed behind her.
