Sisters: Wisp (Twin)
Information on Family: Even though Gully and LifeSimmer(Youngest) were born with the twins as a litter, Glacier and Wisp were born in each other's embrace. Which is why they are considered twins in the first place. Gully chose to be a stray like their mother, however went on his own path. Glacier and Wisp decided to stay with their mother while LifeSimmer became a follower of her father, the outcast. He used to be a Scout, and taught her all that she knows today.

Today, LifeSimmer resides with the very pack her father was banished from.

Image
Strength: Swift as the billowing wind. Eyes that pierce her surroundings like a hawk after it's prey, gifted by her outcasted father. Her strong hearing is gifted by her stray mother. Her ability to piece mysteries together is sought for, which is why she is desired to be a scouter for the pack.
Weakness: Great hearing can be a gift but also a curse. Sometimes she will hear things that should not be heard. High pitched noises bring doomed headaches that leave her disoriented and the need for immediate rest. She is a paranoiac wolf. It's the only thing that can soil her perceptive insight. There are moments where she cannot find the right words to say and it can come out mean and offensive. However, she never seeks to hurt anyone or their feelings.

"Lih-chen. That's how you say it.
Not Lie-ken. I am not a fungi."

Sitting by the entrance was a bulky male. His reddish brown trained on his surroundings, making sure the pack was safe from immediate dangers. It was his job to make sure nothing got past him. They had young to feed and wolves to protect. However, his gaze was not hard and penetrable. It was soft and sweet. How is it that this large strong wolf get ranked as a sentry? The skin beneath his short tinted pelt was gashed with scars unimaginable. He dealt with more than just the annoyance of deceptive foxes and cowardly coyotes. His skin was tough and hard. Perfect for battle since his injuries did nothing more than feel like a bloody scratch. He was not a fighter though, he refused. He was too much of a softy to hurt another wolf. Even if it was an enemy. Second best rank he could be fitted into was a sentry. Originally, Lichen wanted to be a caretaker, but his gifts cursed him. He was too rough for his own good and didn't acquire the gentleness and skill needed to be a caretaker. So there he sat, watching and waiting for something to ambush him. The ginger wolf didn't mind being a sentry, since in a way he was helping his fellow pack mates by keeping them safe on his own accord.

His eyes wandered as the chilled breeze buffeted his fur. He shuttered. The forest was unnaturally silent and that unsettled him. The crinkle of the leaves snapped him to attention. The short, stubby fur on his neck bristled and he slowly assumed the crouching position. Teeth automatically bared at the direction the sound came in. Pressure settled in his ears as blood started to pump faster from his beating heart. He could feel it thudding against his chest. Once he took in the scent, his haunches relaxed and he plopped back down on his hide. It was just the morning patrol. The throaty growl that threatened to come lose was swallowed and he wagged his long curled tail. He didn't bother asking the Beta what went on in the forest of Isiria. He would hear from the scouts soon enough, especially from Salix. Rumors traveled fast in this pack with Salix's informative gossip. Speaking of Salix, he trotted past him with a mischievous look on his face. Lichen snorted as Salix whacked him in the muzzle with his long fluffy tail and he growled at him. "Why so serious?" He asks as he slips through the entrance. "It's my job to be serious." He responds though Salix was already gone.

The night was cold as winter was long, the sharp air crisp with the promise of frost. Only an hour ago had the sun finally sunk down below the barren trees of the forest, the skies stained red like the blood of a fresh kill as the glowing orange orb touched the peeks of the mountains in the distance. A set of paws left tracks in cold mud, stirring up the fall leaf litter underfoot, crushing the moist and decaying grasses that the sudden autumn had killed a few weeks ago. The clouds above covered the moon, threatening to deposit the first snow of the season, the night was going to be cold, long, and dark. Hot breath misted out in a shapeless white billow as the runner's uneven run slowed, coming to stand still on a firm and thick fallen maple tree trunk. Golden eyes peered out into the darkness, seeing everything even in the seemingly pitch black forest. The hunter's ears pressed forward, standing erect, rotating first to the left and then to the right.

His coast was clear, muscles tensing as he bunched, preparing to jump down from the log he had perched himself on to get a better view of his path. There was hesitation though, ears laying back as the mature male wolf calculated the height of the jump, his bad leg wouldn't take the weight of his body from such a height. Using his claws to sturdy his paws he walked a line down the trunk, coming to the top where the branches were once heavy with leaves. Much closer to the ground he stepped off, making sure to brace his back leg before pushing himself into an easy run. At this pace he'd reach his pack within a half hour, having set out with a patrol to check the Northern border at midday. It had been a long day of running on an empty stomach with the cold from the mountains nipping at his heels. He had brought two others with him, though neither were in sight, having gone ahead at a faster pace than the crippled male wolf.

Asher's sensitive nose could still smell them and every once and awhile he'd hear the rustle of the dry undergrowth from in front of him. The dusky brown wolf perked his ears, picking up on the sounds of his pack as they neared their camp. Shouldering through the dense undergrowth the large male wolf trotted into the camp, head lifted with authority as he returned. Asher was in pain, his back right leg burning in white hot pain. The trip had been too far for the aging Beta male, not that he'd ever admit it, all he wanted to do now was lay down and relax with a full belly. But first he had to report his findings to the Alpha, Ghost. Using his nose he focused in on her location and approached slowly, lowering his ears and dropping his body closer to the ground. Stopping in front of her he tilted his head, baring his throat to her in submission as he let out a whine of greeting to his superior.

The patrol had come back with nothing to report, the borders had gone uncrossed and there was no sign of an trespassers. There had been evidence of a bear moving into the North hemisphere of the territory but it was well away from the camp and was getting ready to bed down for winter hibernation. Come spring they may have to chase it off, though Asher did not think of it as a concern to worry Ghost about at the time. His eyes did not meet the Alpha's, though the dark haired male did look upon the white she-wolf, tail wagging between his legs ever so slightly as his ears slowly perked up. "Hope you didn't miss me too much." Asher said with a smile to his voice.

"Just call me Sim."

Amber eyes blinked beneath the shrubs where a she-wolf had nestled in. The mottled pelt shifted behind her shade and the wolf let out a long, shivering yawn. The she-wolf stretched her legs and dug into the ground with her nimble paws. Lifesimmer wanted to sleep more than anything, but she knew of the work she had to do. She nosed the leaves out of her vision as she slowly crept from her sleeping place. The shrub occupied the corner of a clearing which the pack claimed as the heart of their territory. The camp now had wolves seeping in from the entrance. The she-wolf pushed herself onto all fours and watched them with weary eyes. Giving her pelt a shake, she wondered if she had slept in. Assuming that the Beta was back with a mouthful of companions in her ranking, she had. The morning patrol took their places and started to socialize as Asher trotted over to the Alpha. It was the Beta's duty to report in to the Alpha, even if there was nothing that took place in the premises.

Her amber hues studied the grounds, and her sights caught young Thorn resting by her lonesome. The she-wolf decided to gather up the courage to approach the fighter, padding over with her ears pricked. Lifesimmer stopped a tail length away and let out a muffled woof to get her attention. "Pardon," She breathes light and quick. "Have I missed the morning patrol?" What an obvious question she spurted out! The absurdity of her question made her nervous. The little stub, where her tail should be, stiffened. She wasn't used to talking to many of her peers, mainly because she was branded as an outcast because of her father. For some odd reason, the Alpha decided that Lifesimmer would be great use to her pack and took her in. Still, not every wolf agreed with her decision. She was pleasantly surprised when she was ranked as a scout instead of a lowly omega. Lifesimmer was determined to prove to them all that she was worthy to be here. So far, first impressions weren't exactly her department. The she-wolf listened attentively as Thorn prepared to speak, shivering with anticipation. If she had indeed missed morning patrol, she would take it as her duty to monitor the area anyway. Who knows what could be lurking out there with fewer wolves on the scene. The only wolf she could trust to be with her on this mission was Lichen, the sentry. Unless someone else wanted to come with them. She doubted it though, the majority of the pack recently came back from the forest and were probably hesitant of going back out there.

GRIFFIN
Male | Delta

Griffin shook out his pelt and came back into the view of the campsite. He was a large male with a thick black pelt and amber eyes. He was probably slightly older than most of the wolves, 6 years old. He pressed himself down under a tree then looked around while licking his leg. His joints hurt again as usual, he wasn't what one would say is old but he was defiantly not young anymore and his body clearly knew it. Join pains were common for him now.

He looked around to determine what every member of the pack was doing then he set his eyes on LifeSimmer and the alpha, Ghost. For a moment he wondered what was up, maybe he had missed some-thing as well. For a moment he pondered but then his mind rested, there wasn't anything he really had to be doing which he could had missed out on. He relaxed again, removing his gaze and allowing his head to drop to the ground and his eyes close.

His peace didn't last long, it never did. The sound of rustling near him distracted him and made him open his browny orange eyes. It was just a bird, a small blackbird looking for insects in the snow. The forest was so alive, so active where as he wasn't He yawned, his yawn was some-what funny, sounding similar to the sound a cat would make when meowing, before he dropped his head back down and shit his eyes once again.

Cerci's soft, old, eyes blinked open slowly. The elderly wolf lay in a pile of feathers and dead grass inside the camp, rolling to her back and stretching before falling to the side and getting to her paws. With a shaky stretch of her legs and a wide yawn she was on her feet and walking around. With a grayed muzzle and weak eyes she made her way around using her ears, though they were starting to fail her as well, and her nose. Asher had just returned, Sim had just awoken and emerged from a den, others moved around freely. With a huff the elder and oldest omega sat down, tail flicking irritated along the ground. "What kind of treatment is this? Up for more than a few minutes and no pup offering me breakfast." She spoke aloud, mostly to herself, like she always did. "I may be mean but a lady of my age should be well taken care of." Cerci muttered darkly, hunching her shoulders as she stood, padding off to find a pup to torment.

The bitter she-wolf passed LifeSimmer and Thorn, cloudy eyes narrowed as she folded her ears back, upper lip twitching in a sneer, a growl rumbling from the back of her throat. She had learned quickly to trust no one, not even the ditsy females, they'd turn around and bite you in the rump just as fast as an angered male. Padding away quickly she let out a startled yelp as she came nose to nose with a gray and brown she-wolf. "Orion, you startled the Gods out of me." The omega scolded darkly. The young pup's ears went up, tail wagging behind her, cold nose touching Cerci's again in greeting. The old wolf rolled her eyes with a woof and kept on walking, knowing the pup would follow obediently. "Don't you have somebody else to bother?" The elderly she-wolf complained as she stopped in the middle of the camp, summing up what was left of her strength to dig a small and shallow hole in the moist dirt. Sighing contently she closed her eyes, waiting for Orion to speak.

"Grandma!" Orion exclaimed as the old she-wolf had bumped into her, waggling her hindquarters and bounding along beside her. The pup sat down as the older she-wolf dug herself out a spot in the middle of camp, waiting for her to be comfortable before also laying down. The young wolf had been cooped up in camp since yesterday and there weren't many pups her age to play with. A small growl curled from her throat as she grabbed the Omega's ear in-between her teeth, giving a soft tug, trying to get the elder to play.

"Not now child!" The she-wolf snarled, lifting her head to free her ear from the pup's grasp. Orion laid her ears back and placed her head on the ground, whimpering softly as her tag slowly started to wag. She tensed and pounced, tackling the omega and taking hold of her ear again. "Gotcha!" The she-wolf growled as she wrestled. Cerci was in no mood to play though and quickly got up, shaking off her granddaughter. "I said not now! Sod off you overgrown pup!" Cerci snarled, snorting as she settled back down in her shallow hole.

Orion shook out her fur, ears burning hot with embarrassment as she trotted away, mumbling under her breath as she went. Perking her ears she spotted LifeSimmer and Thorn, padding over quickly. "Good morning! Any news from the patrol?" The future caretaker asked curiously. Her father, Asher, had returned not to long ago with his patrol, having gone straight to the Alpha to report his findings. Orion wanted to know what had happened along the north border, what better way to find out then from these two?

The Alpha female turned her head and smiled at Asher, her fluffed tail neatly beside her and her head held high as she sat. "I miss all of you when you leave." she noted truthfully, he pale red eyes sparkled. "I worry too much, but I guess I should have known this role in life would come with a price. There are some advantages to it I suppose."
The white wolf stood, holding her gaze on the male Beta, searching for the question she was originally going to ask him, but had forgotten. "Ah," she remembered, "was anything sighted during your patrol at all?"

The beta, satisfied that she had asserted herself as the dominate, came to his full height in front of the white she-wolf. His keen golden eyes watched her body posture and studied the way she woofed softly at him. Asher was unsatisfied with her animistic answer to his flirtatious play of words and tone. It was no secret that Ghost was all business and rarely any pleasure, despite his numerous attempts to woo her. Over the last month or so his pursuit of the alpha had gone stale, though he always made sure to show her some charm every once and awhile. It had seemed, or at least from Asher's point of view, that she held no real interest in a relationship with the mature male wolf. It hadn't crushed him too much, though the ambitious wolf was a little let down at the beginning. Now they shared a rather close friendship and Asher believed himself to be one of her closest advisors. "The borders were clean of any signs of trespassers. Stale fox den near the Old Cherry Oak, no fresh trails from the inhabitants." His tone was cool, collected.

The Beta, done with his report, dipped his head out of respect before backing away and turning to trod away, limping heavily and favoring his crippled leg. His eyes narrowed on his daughter, spotting her standing with LifeSimmer and Thorn. Their eyes met briefly as the large dark haired male walked across the camp, though he did not linger his focus on the pup for too long. Their relationship was weak, if not nonexistent, between father and daughter. When Orion had been much younger, merely a few weeks old, a badger had found Vitani's den. Like all female wolves, she had taken herself outside of the safety of the pack to deliver a litter and raise the single pup alone until she was old enough to bring her within the rank of the pack. While Vitani had been out hunting the male badger had sniffed out the pup's hideaway, digging out the entrance. When the she-wolf returned to find her first and only pup under attack, she had acted. Vitani fought off the stout creature with ferocity, but later suffered infections in her wounds that had eventually led to her passing.

Asher had blamed Orion at first, still grieving heavily, but as she grew older he came to a realization that the pup had done no wrong. It was too late for their relationship to be mended by that time and the two kept a set distance from one another. Sighing softly, the adult wolf approached his mother, touching his muzzle to her shoulder as he lay in a spot across from her. "Enjoying yourself?" He mused at the elderly wolf. His mother flicked an ear and rolled over with a huff, ignoring him. Asher chuckled softly and let his tongue roll out the side of his mouth, panting softly as he enjoyed the weak fall sunlight from overhead as he listened to the sounds of camp life.

Thorn

"Pardon," LifeSimmer breathes light and quick. "Have I missed the morning patrol?" Thorn raised her head,as if to say, where were you? Planet Jupiter? The gray she-wolf sighed, "Yes." Not looking at the she-wolf's face directly, Thorn could feel the sudden grief, rage and homesickness that always accompanied the tailless she-wolf. She reminded Thorn too much of her past predicaments and how she became a rogue for a year before joining the Fallen pack. Thorn growled, her hazel eyes looking off into the forest as if she weren't there but somewhere else. Maybe even a better place.

Without meaning to, she shook her head and found herself looking at LifeSimmer. Grief stung her pelt and made her look quickly away. Thorn lay her head back on her paws, and her eyes would have misted over if it weren't the other she-wolfs shadow blocking out the sun. Reminded that her life had once been like Simmer's, she looked at the wolf and smiled, "Where were you anyway? Off running around with rogue males?" The new light in her eyes said she was teasing.

"Just call me Sim."

"Yes." Thorn's name fit the tone she set towards her. The gray she-wolf avoided Simmer's gaze with a hard glance towards the lumbering trees. Her quieted, throaty growl set her off and she wanted to dart beneath the undergrowth and hibernate for the rest of her life. However, she did not show it. Her mind surged with unsettlement and the stub of a tail slumped. It was the only part of her body she could show her feelings through gestures and no one would notice. Who would want to stare at her rump the whole time? Yet something about her hues revealed a hidden emotion. Simmer couldn't help but watch her silently, studying the signs waiting to be interpreted. For a split second, Thorn caught her gaze. Embarrassed, Lifesimmer darted her amber hues toward the bounding pup that was approaching them.

When she returned her eyes upon Thorn, her tail thudded the ground revealing an inward smile. Her inquiry left her fur standing on end with sheepishness. "O-oh, no way. I just slept in, I swear." She stammered, words falling from her muzzle in jumbled text. The question was absurd. Males always went for the females with the fluffiest tails. She was out of the question. Orion bustled into the conversation just as her fur became hot and bashful. "I..." She yapped awkwardly. Her tongue twisted and she found herself lost in her words. She ducked her head and avoided their piercing eyes. Her ears facing backwards. Thorn could answer this for her. She didn't want to admit to the young pup that she slept in. In fact, she wanted to keep it to herself but talking to another wolf pressured her to giving them reason for her absence.

At Thorn's suggestion to where Simmer had been, Orion couldn't help but bow playfully wagging her tail and hindquarters in the air. " 'Sleeping in' a male's den?" She waggled her eyebrows and woofed softly. The young wolf bounced out of her stance, bumping shoulders with Simmer, reassuring that her words were only meant to tease. "Besides, she's got lookers far closer to home." Orion breathed out, rotating an ear back, listening to her father pant softly and grandmother snore. All playfulness left the she wolf as she sighed softly, putting a nose to Simmer's ear.

Orion enjoyed the company of Thorn and Simmer, they were both older, ranked, wolves and she had admired them as a pup. Finding a new source of energy to keep her moving she quickly scrambled to her paws and stood between the two, tilting her head as she balanced back and forth on her paws. "Since you missed the patrol this morning why don't you go at midday? I would love to go along." Orion yipped excitedly. The she-wolf was unsure of where she wanted to be within the pack. There were so many different choices and all were extraordinary in Orion's eyes.

Lacy
“Running, you should know, is a kind of stillness.” ― Tiphanie Yanique
Image

The bright fire was slowly fading behind her, as was the victory cries of the humans and last whimpers of her family. Soon the only sound that filled the dark forest was the thumps of her paws onto the ground and the soft exhales and inhales of breath. Cold gusts of wind fought against Lacy, threatening her to slow down, but she ignored it, she ignored the burning of her lungs as she pushed the freezing air in and out, and the numbness of her paws as she pushed herself to get further and further away, as she tired to escape her appending doom. It would be so easy to stop now, to give up and let death come and collect her, but she had always been a fighter, she had never been one to give in. The she-wolf would never understand why it was her who had lived and not one of her siblings, after all, she was the smallest of her family, she would have been the easiest to pick off, the only thing she had going for her was her speed, and even that was less when it came down to a battle. Then again, it was her speed that had saved her.

The night wore on, and as she traveled up, over the mountain, the air cold colder and the winds whispered louder, soft snow was falling slowly, unlike in the valley below. The tall, dead trees cracked and twigs snapped beneath her, and yet, she only stopped once. She stopped at the peak of the mountain so she could turn around and look down at the valley that used to be her home. She could see the fire that was engulfing the dead trees, it was slowly spreading, through it would stop soon, it was clear it had been man made. Other animals were running away, fleeing from death. She lifted her head, and let out a heart broken howl. It priced through the air and echoed off the the mountain and down to the burning valley, and the darker, untouched valley. Lacy turned then, and started to run again. She didn't stop again after that, not with the picture of her home burning branded into her mind.

Soon the mountain started to tilt downward and she knew she was coming closer and closer to the other Tribe of wolves. Her mother had heard mere rumors about the other wolves, since not many of her own tribe had liked to travel over the mountain, she knew now, by the scents that burned her nose, the rumors had been true. This tribe, The Tribe of the Fallen, was one of the biggest tribes in this area. If she could, she would warn the Alpha of this tribe, explain what had happened, how ruthless the humans had been, and how they might be next, and then she would move on to warn others. Lacy no longer had a family of her own, the least she could do was help protect other family's from the same loss.

She pushed down the swelling emotions, the pain, and pushed her legs to move faster. She strained her ears and nose, trying to hear if any of the wolves were near by, trying to figure out how old these scents were. As far as she could tell, they were at least seventy-four hours old, most likely, they had belonged to a hunting party, they were most likely trying to pack as much food up for the rest of the pack before winter hit them as hard as it had hit the mountains. The snow was still caught up in her fur from when she had been higher in the mountains, and most likely it wouldn't melt out completely until the sun rose. Lacy kept going through, ignoring the new cold as she traveled blindly through the forest. She didn't start to slow down until she came across newer scents. The she-wolf soon slowed down to a light jog, and let out a softer howl than before, through she still winced at how horrible it sounded, like she was a dying animal calling for help. She was certain that the tribe would hear the unfamiliar howl and come to investigate.

Thorn

Thorn smiled lightly at Orion's sudden jest at Simmer. She saw the young adolescent glance at her father, Asher, and the Fighter looked too. She wagged her tail slightly as she saw a blur in her peripheral. "Since you missed the patrol this morning why don't you go at midday? I would love to go along." Thorn lowered her ears at that, the new look in her face that of which a mother would wear. It said, No. Yet again the young wolf seemed so happy at the idea. "You can't go unless you can take me down," Thorn replied as she swiftly jumped to her paws and into a play-bow. The way she moved suggested her to be happy and having fun, but her solemn gray eyes spoke another story. "Come on, pup, you can team up with Simmer if you truly think yourself to lose this fight." Wagging her tail as she waited for Orion's and Simmer's reply to her challenge.

All too soon, Thorn froze, her ears pricking forward as she heard the foreign howl cut through camp. She jumped around, and with only a warning look at Asher, she bolted into the forest, running toward the howl. She was no sentry or scout, but living alone and with no one to fight with her, had learned to run for her life. Thorn leaped over a fallen tree, and stopped to listen, her breathing rapid and quick, as she heard a wolf approaching. Her hackles went up, as she saw a strange she-wolf approach. From the way it moved, Thorn could tell it was exhausted, but it would get no sympathy from her. She growled warningly, and flicked her ears backwards listening for Ghost and Asher.

"Just call me Sim."

It was the last drop of leisure the group of she-wolves could spare together. An eerie, throaty howl haunted the camp grounds. Most would have mistaken it as a hostile remark, but the true meaning behind it was warning. There was danger and this howl was warning them. Before she could respond, Thorn had already sped off along with Orion and the Beta. However, Simmer hesitated. She was just a scout. An investigator. The camp was barely protected with some of the important wolves springing into action. Speaking of which, Lichen was nowhere to be seen. His shift was well over but he had never returned. He must be out there, lurking in the woods unaware of the dangers that might have settled into their paws. Simmer's amber eyes broke contact from the entrance and lingered towards the Alpha in desperation. A decision was made, and she parted from the camp in the footsteps of her packmates.

The frosty autumn breeze billowed deep within her pelt, scraping at her tender skin with it's icy claws. Her eyes clouded with salty tears that brimmed at the rim of her eyelids. Her swift speed and nimble steps guided her towards the heavy scent of wolves, one unknown. The only sound she managed to make was the fallen leaves that crumpled beneath her paws. She bounded towards the group just in time to hear the Beta's low, tensed voice. "Can you not smell? The borders are clearly marked, state your business here or allow me to escort you back." The tailless she-wolf slowed her pace until she trotted cautiously over to Orion. Simmer's ears pricked toward the strange wolf before them while her stumpy tail stiffened. Her amber hues studied her with immense interest. The she-wolf's words drowned out as Simmer observed her. Everything about this she-wolf left a mark of familiarity.

For some reason, she felt as if... she was mirrored... Who was she? And where did she come from?

OOC: (Let me know if I must edit. I'm bound to get something wrong. For example, the weather.
PS- Simmer feels mirrored because Lacy is the equivalent of her. As if they both shared the same gifts but came from different backgrounds. For example, they are both scouts and both observant. They can piece things together and share swiftness. However, your wolf is smaller and they have their differences. If you do not approve of this idea, just ask me to correct this.)

Ghost could tell Asher had slightly been stung by her lack of interest, but she reminded herself it had been that way for a long time, she could also tell that he had been slowly giving up on her. Although it ached her heart, she knew it was better this way. Besides, he was still someone she could trust and rely on, and an important asset to the pack. It's not that I don't want to have a mate to rule beside me, but I must put the whole pack first before anything. Their sake and wellbeing is my responsibility. She sighed, watching her pack through wary eyes. A light breeze made the snowy hair along her spine stand slightly and she lifted herself, showing dominance, as she embraced the thin wind. Her head and tail held high, she walked through their home, greeting everyone with a smile. She would have to call everyone together eventually to discuss the seasons changes, especially with winter just a few moons away. During the brittle season of winter, the small prey would tuck themselves warmly into their burrows, and the much larger prey would travel outside of the forest, beyond the mountains. She had been thinking that soon it would be time to face some changes to accommodate with this time of year, especially since last winter season nearly half the pack had been wiped out.
Looking up at the sky, she saw the sun was pale and a cloud had crossed over it, signaling the beginning of Autumn. The air will be colder, and the leaves will start to fall, telling the prey to start heading away. We must discuss soon... I will call a gathering before next moon. She had been thinking of ideas that they could use to survive the harsh times, but had only come up with one, and it was too soon to be worrying the pack with such drastic measures just yet.

The beta listened to the she-wolf's words, ears slowly laying back as she described the destruction of her tribe. There was a shift in the female's scent, a sense of grief and longing, most likely to be back with her pack mates. Asher's upper and lower lips curled back in the beginnings of a snarl, fur bristling as his eyes flicked towards a break in the trees, looking at the large mountains that rose up in the distance. "The humans will not stop with just your pack." The beta growled, opening his jaws and airing out his tongue as if the sentence had caused him distaste. "Come, you may rest and eat with our pack for the night. My alpha will most definitely want to speak with you personally." Speaking of the white female leader, a call from the camp rung in his ears, causing them to stand upright and rotate. Asher's attention turned back to the stranger, body posture welcoming and inviting instead of guarded and tensed. "The pack will want proof of your words, once you regain your strength and if you are willing to guide us, I'd like to see the destruction the humans have caused." There was a pause as a smile was heard in his voice. "But let us discuss this later, over dinner." Asher insisted before nodding to Simmer and Thorn, giving them a woof and swish of his tail.

'I'll lead, flank her sides.' His signal had read as he turned sorely on his paws, circling around the she-wolf slowly as Simmer came to her place, trotting forward with his direction set for camp. He couldn't leave Ghost waiting for too much longer before the alpha started to get impatient. Looking back over his shoulder he looked to the she-wolf and then to LifeSimmer, snorting once softly."I didn't catch your name. I'm Asher, the two at your sides are LifeSimmer and Thorn. Welcome to the Fallen Tribe territory." The beta introduced, picking up his pace as he threw his head back, giving a short and deep howl, alerting the camp that they had a visitor and were on their way back.

Thorn

"I didn't catch your name. I'm Asher, the two at your sides are LifeSimmer and Thorn. Welcome to the Fallen Tribe territory." Thorn had felt nothing the entire Asher conversed with the Stranger. She also wanted to ignore the she-wolf's words and just rip out her throat for speaking such lies, but she knew better. She had to restrain herself, and force herself to think of the consequences and the tiny little thought that the wolf's words might be true. Her hackles slowly went down, but the bright light of anger in her eyes stayed the same. She moved to the wolf's flank and began to trot after them. The entire time, her glare staying on the shoulders of the tiny she-wolf. A growl beginning in her throat as she tried to ignore the sudden instinct to leave again. To just up and disappear, just like she did when her friends had needed. Quit it! She began to think to herself, You finally have others around, you're not a Kerl. She used the Wolf term for Lone wolf; wolves that surrounded themselves with sadness and anger. The opposite of the average wolf that is highly sociable.

As soon as the got into camp, Thorn strayed away from the Stranger and Asher, and giving Ghost a wide berth, moved herself as far from the Stranger without actually leaving Camp. Thorn's growled again, more to herself than to the others around her. She was trying very hard to not go and disrespect Ghost by starting a fight with the Stranger. She was a wolf, and a very territorial one at that.

Lacy
“The truth does not change according to our ability to stomach it.” ― Flannery O'Connor

Lacy watched the larger wolf closely, not feeling the concern she should have when his lips pulled back in a snarl, she knew the cause of it, if it had been her, and if a stranger had told her such things, she would have reacted the same way. "The humans will not stop with just your pack." She allowed her form to slump again in defeat, the truth of his words stinging. "Come, you may rest and eat with our pack for the night. My alpha will most definitely want to speak with you personally." As if on cue, a howl cut through the air, clearly it was the Alpha of their pack. The smaller she-wolf looked up towards the sky for a moment, before turning to inspect the other's around her. The other two she-wolves she saw were quite interesting. While one looked like it wanted to attack, the other looked slightly confused and surprised. "The pack will want proof of your words, once you regain your strength and if you are willing to guide us, I'd like to see the destruction the humans have caused." Lacy turned back towards the male, taking a moment to process his words and how his stance had changed. In the back of her mind, she put two and two together and realized that he was the Beta of this pack. "But let us discuss this later, over dinner." She bowed her head slightly in agreement, through the idea of eating while her comrades no longer lived made her stomach turn.

The smaller she-wolf felt considerably dwarfed between the three unfamiliar wolves as they led her back to their camp. Lacy felt better now that she was moving and she did take a bit of joy in observing the three as they made their way further from the mountains. It was fascinating to see how they each held themselves, in some ways, they each reminded her of friends she had within her own pack before they were killed. It was a sober thought, to see how familiar yet unfamiliar they all were. "I didn't catch your name. I'm Asher, the two at your sides are LifeSimmer and Thorn. Welcome to the Fallen Tribe territory." Lacy looked between the three, testing their names in her head before speaking aloud. it was easy to see who LifeSimmer was and who Thorn was, it seemed their names fit the big of personality's she had picked up on from them in such a short time. "My name is Lacy," She paused to take a small breath. She was being assaulted by unfamiliar scents and it was taking all of her willpower down to turn around, tuck tail, and run for the hills. Literally.

"After I have rested I'll take you back to the top of the mountain." Her voice faded out as she looked down, focusing on the ground. If it could be helped, she couldn't go any closer than that, they would be able to see the damage from there, she had no doubt that the fire had turned past the point of no return, the burning forest would be all the proof they would need, if they were smart they would pack up and move their camp further from the mountain, they would left before they were killed too.

"Just call me Sim."

Asher's grave news impaled Simmer. Her throat closed up with the stress of knowing that the pack's end might be nearer than any of them thought. Simmer's tongue lolled off the side of her muzzle, taking in strained breaths to swallow down the rock within her maw. Just as Asher finished speaking, the call of her leader sounded. The alpha's pitch clawed at her sensitive hearing and she whined, scratching her ears with her hind leg. Simmer shot upright when Asher barked at them, standing up and shaking her pelt of the dead leaves that stuck to her. She followed orders and trotted over to the left side of the stranger as Thorn occupied the right. Her fur tingled being so close to this stranger and her body tensed when she managed to utter, "My name is Lacy,"

Simmer didn't bother to introduce herself since the Beta had already done this for her. However, she found it rude to ignore her. She acknowledged her by murmuring, "That's a beautiful name." Along with this gesture, her stump waggled ever so slightly. Her amber hues darted over towards Thorn, searching for a reaction from her. How did she feel during all of this? Obviously, she did not approve with her fur standing on end. Once they squeezed into the camp, the sentries giving a confused look, Thorn abandoned them and maneuvered over to the opposite side of camp. Simmer glanced back at Lacy beside her. She couldn't help but wonder if Lacy was telling the truth. Then, an idea popped in her head. She would have to speak to the Alpha and Beta about this. Maybe Simmer and other scouts could scour the premises. Prove that what she says is valid and not an ambush.

|| Beta | Male ||
The familiar scents of his pack mates filled Asher's nose, fur laying flatter and ears pressing forward as he shouldered through the thick underbrush, breaking brittle branches as he went, announcing his arrival. The Beta's eyes scanned the camp as the small group arrived. Their newcomer received obvious stares and whispers from a curious few, but with an escort into the camp, no one questioned why Lacy was here. Asher's golden eyes spotted his white haired alpha, paws churning on the ground as he shifted direction and headed towards her. A few tail lengths away he stopped and turned back to address Lacy, Simmer, and Thorn. "Wait here." The beta ordered before approaching the alpha solely, dipping his head, tucking his tail, and pressing his ears back as he bared his throat. "A she-wolf was found along the Eastern border, the last of the Cold Tribe, she wishes to speak with you. I shall bring her after you address the pack." Asher explained quickly, making it short and simple before bowing his head, waiting for her to dismiss him.

The Alpha had called her pack together for a reason, she could deal with the newcomer afterwards, in the meantime Asher could allow her to rest and eat before seeing Ghost. Asher backed away, trotting back to Lacy, dismissing Thorn and Simmer for their posts at her flanks. "The alpha will speak to the pack and then with you." He informed the small she-wolf with a gruff wolf, shaking out his fur as he walked past Lacy, flicking his tail in signal for her to follow. "Keep up." Asher growled, the irritation in his crippled leg shortening his patience and temper more than it already was. Coming to a dip in the ground at the foot of a large tree he ducked his head into a cool aired entrance, teeth sinking into flesh. Dragging the haunch out of the stock pile he pulled it a few feet away from the tree before dropping it, looking from the meat to the she-wolf. Slowly his legs buckled beneath him as he lay down, finally at rest, sinking his teeth deep into the elk thigh, tearing away a good chunk and dropping it between his paws before nosing the leg towards Lacy. "Eat."
