Introduction

Welcome to San Francisco

A killer is at work in the bay area. The bodies of his victims are burned beyond recognition, and they are always found in crowded areas. The police have no leads and nothing to go on. Most of them don't even believe it is the work of one person. News stations have taken to reporting the deaths as the work of an arsonist.

Only the vampires who work for SF magazine know that the killings are the work of a vampire, and that he is killing fellow vampires.

Weeks after the killings began, a letter is found stuffed into the mail slot of the SF building. It contained a detailed list of each murder as well as information on murders that had not yet happened. The police received a similar copy, and they have begun to investigate SF.

Now the members of SF have to keep the truth about the murders under wraps while hunting down the killer themselves.

Things you need to know

In this game, Vampires do not sparkle. They do not burn when exposed to sunlight, and all garlic does is give them bad breath. A stake in the heart will kill them, just as it will most people. Silver is poisonous and, if left in the body, will eventually cause death. A bullet to the heart or head will kill them, as will cutting off their head or burning them.

Vampires must drink the blood of a human once every two weeks to survive. The human will always die, as a vampire is unable to break from feeding once they have begun. Blood that is not fresh will not keep them alive. If they are not killed, a vampire may live up to eight-hundred years and they do not visibly age. They are much stronger than a human, and can run fast enough to not be seen by the naked eye.
