Introduction
15th century Japan. The Bunkyoku school is a combat school for those who want to become samurai or ninja but were rejected to enter a state school. Because of this the students often end up to become mercenaries, rogues, wandering samurai etc. The students dont just learn how to use a sword but also learn how to advance in speed and strength with their willpower. At the end the students learn how to use a special technique that forms a ball of energy that can break through city walls with one hit. The senseis of the small school are preparing the students to fight an unknown danger that threatens the emperor. Somebody or something has been taking out all the samurai in the area and this is seen as a threat to the empire. Now the students have to go through extensive training to finally be able to defend themselves against this threat and eventually eliminate it.

OOC Notes
It was a dark knight and at a castle outside of Edo soldiers stood guard in protection of their samurai lord. A soldier felt a short gust of wind and turned to the one next to him to find a headless body standing there. Then blood shot out of it. A shadow stood at the other end of the house and the severed head of the headless soldier rolled towards the soldier who was still alive and shocked. Then the shadow came closer and tore the head of the other off. After hearing a thump the samurai lord came out to find the two decapitated soldiers. He pulled his sword but it was too late. The shadow stood there with a glowing ball in its hands. Then it pushed the ball into the samurai lord. The lord disappeared in a cloud of red mist and his castle was blown away by a shockwave.
In the morning Tae sat in her school waiting for her students to come. She heard the chaos outside, partially from the incident last night but also from the daily chaos of the pedestrians on the roads of Edo.

Shiro walked into the school with a yawn. He fiddled with his katana pushing the guard up and pulling it down so that it will make a small click sound each time. A small grin formed on his lips as he peeked through the doors of a class. He chuckled quietly seeing how terribly some were doing. Shaking his head, he proceeded on. The demon thought about last night. Wondering who was keep killing all those samurai guards. One thing for sure, it wasnt a doing of a human. Well either way, he always thought those guards were weak. With a nice stretch, he decided to stop thinking about that subject. It made his head hurt trying to figure out who or what was doing this.
OOC Notes
Shougo's father had brought him to the gates of the school. Shougo's eyes were cold and steely.His sword almost always in his grasp seemed to hum next to him as he looked over the gate. His black Gi seemed to scare the none fighting people. His father the legendary traveling Samurai "Kajuro" Began to walk away from Shougo only saying" The falling leaf does not hate the wind" Shougo new these words. They were the words of a Samurai never expecting to see someone again. He looked at the gates, he was large for a seventeen year old. His strenght and almost super human durablity had saved him several times. He wondered what was next. He had no fear. The only thing that was left was to meet his sensai, and pray they weren't fools. With a simple expention of his leg he kicked the front doors open. A gust of wind blew his Gi stuck tight to him. As the wind passed he stepped through thr threshold and stared for what was ahead.

Tae stood at the end smiling warmly towards the two students who have entered. Her long odashi was in its sheath which was tied to Tae's back. "Come inside quickly. I have so much to teach you in so little time. There is a danger out there that has been killing samurai and soldiers. Even though we are more of a rogue school, we still have to protect our emperor from anything that endangers him. I dont know if a demon or something else attack that castle last night but the samurai lord was no where to be found. All people found was two headless corpses, a big red spot on the ground and scattered bones."
She then sighed and said: "If that thing attacks the school, I will protect you." She then grinned showing her white razor-sharp carnivore like teeth. There were different types of demons but the fewest were pure meat eaters like Tae was. Well she ate rice and mostly meat.

Tenshi started walking from her house to the gates of Bunkyoku. This was her second year at the school and between her arrival last year and now she had managed to get a small house to live in for the time Bunkyoku was closed. She was wearing her usual attire along with her cloak and even though nothing was infront of her she still managed to trip over. Luckily before she faceplanted the floor she pushed herself back up and onto her feet. Nothing would spoil her day today, it was her second year and she wanted to make a decent second enterance... No blood had to be involved this time... After ten minutes she had arrived at the school. Before entering the classroom she check her cloak, her dual blades were there. She then checked her belt and her fan was there. She had to be prepared, especially after the demon attack on the Samurai Lord the night before... She seemed to attract demons for some reason... She then walked into the room, seeing two new boys and her old sensei, Tae.

Shiro leaned against the wall and stared at Tae spoke. He yawned and looked over as a girl walked in. He really didnt care who was killing all these samurai guards. All he wanted to know was who was doing this, and if he can, he would like to see how strong this person, or thing really was. Shiro looked up at the ceiling, deep in thought. Once again he started to fiddle with his katana. It was sort of a habit now. He'll often do it when he was bored or was thinking too hard. Chewing on his lower lips he turned his attention back to the people in the room.

"Good morning Tenshi." Tae said. "Today we will train some of our speed and will go scouting for rogue demons as mercenaries for the emperor since many of his soldiers have been killed by something in the past two years." Tae was happy about this since it was part of her plan to raise the reputation of her school by taking out half of the military at night, so that she can hunt down thieves and rogue demons with her students. "The money of the mission will go towards the reparation of the school and to buy food for lunch. A portion of the money will also be dispersed among you three. As I know two of you live alone and since the school has the money now, you can live in the school. I can set up rooms for you to sleep in." Tae would be happy to have housemates but as long as they didnt find out her secret too early.

Tenshi nodded as Tae revealed the plan of action and then layed her hands on her blade hilts. "As long as I get to kill a demon, im happy" Even after spending a year at Bunkyoku Tenshi never found out about Tae's secret. She then quickly whipped out her blades and detached Shiros hand from his Katana, knocking it down onto the floor and nearly hit him. Unfortunetly Tenshi had lost her balance while slashing her heavier blade down. "Damn it..." She then faceplanted the floor with her blades by her sides. "I swear i am cursed with clumsiness" She then pushed herself up and picked up her blades and withdrew them before holding out her hand to Shiro "Im Tenshi Kiru, easily annoyed and very clumsy."

Shiro kicked his katana into the air and caught it in his hands. "If you didnt loose your balance, you really could have hit me." he said looking at the girl. His eyes then narrowed, "And I too get easily annoyed. I also didnt like your course of action." he said before smiling. The cold look on his eyes disappeared as he took the girl's hand. "Shiro Murakami's my name." he said. He put his katana back into place, along with his second one. He always carried around 2 katanas. For some reason, he found it easier to fight with 2 instead of 1.

"Dont forget. Not all demons are bad. For example, I am a demon but I trained humans to become proud and powerful in this school." Tae said looking a bit disappointed at Tenshi. "If any of you want to live at the school then say so." Tae then drew her long sword and said: "We are going to leave soon. Tell me if you want to live here or not and get ready to move out. I recommend when we are out in the woods that you dont get in my way if I use strong attacks. They could easily tear you apart." Tae was happy about the mission. Her students would serve her prey on a golden tablet for here. She didnt care if the meat was human or demon, but she shouldnt let her students see her feeding on a human or demon. Otherwise they might suspect her to be the thing that has been attacking soldiers and samurai.

Shiro thought for a moment. Leaving here would be better, but then again... he didnt really like living in a place with other people walking around. He rubbed the side of his neck with a small sigh. The sensei seemed pretty excited about this "mission" they were going to. "Dont worry, I wont get in your way. I like to work alone when it comes to killing." he said. It was true. He'll probably disappear once they got to the woods. There was something about this mission he felt uneasy about, but shook it off. It really didnt bother him... much.

As he entered hearing the woman and other students. He simply shook his head and sighed. Seeing the fremale pass him, entering the school. He simply watched. He then looked at everyone and said in a deep but soft voice" Whatever this thing is i don't need protection, and as far as what it could be. I'm not worried. Everything dies sooner or later." He walked into the school a slight metallic sound with each step. His sandles were awfully strange. The bottoms were cast in a strong steel. The sides were seemingly bladed. His steely eyes fell on the school itself. It was nothing special. He then looked over to his new teacher as he followed the others and said" I do not protect the same ones you do. I only protect myself, and my family name. Let's make sure we have this straight before we begin training." He scuffed looking around wondering if there was indeed anything he could learn from this place.

Tenshi finished shaking Shiros hand and then folded her arms "Tae, at the moment your the only good demon I know and trust... Plus, if you were in my place then you would understand why I hate demons so much." She then layed her hands on her blade hilt and turned towards the door "Its hard to fix something thats broken into thousends of pieces..." She then headed out "I'll take a room... I havent got much to pick up from my place... I'll meet you at the forest." She then dissapeared and headed over to her place, she never called it home because it never felt like home... Nothing could make it feel like home. She needed her family around to make it feel like home and they're long gone. She then looked round the small hut, there wasn't much. A bed mat, cushions, a photo frame of her family and a Katana. She then lifted up her bed mat and got out a small sack to fit in her photo frame. After strapping her Katana into her cloak she headed off towards the forest.

He yawned taking his normal sweet time walking towards the forest. The only thing he truly ever carried with him at anypoint was his Katana and other various weapons. His thoughts went back to his village where he was born. His mother and the people he once called friends. Long lost memeories now. He had no use for such a sentimental moments, but for some reason enjoyed them so. Since his father had come back to the village and taken him away, he had been trained to do only three things. Fight, kill, and survivie. His instincts were closer to an animal then a person. He could smell animals, fear and the stink that seemed to filter through even the most thick of forrests. It was a strong irony smell, it constantly stuck within his nose. it used to make his stomach turn but not it just made his sword hand itchy. He had come to love it. It was the smell of blood. He followed the people heading towards the forest. His eyes low only seeing their feet. As a traveling samurai with no rep or name for himself. He didn't have the honor to look into peoples eyes. Though he had killed many oppents he still was as nameless as this beast/man killing the samurai guards. Though his dream was to change this. He would be the only Samurai worth mentioning. His dream was to be the greatest. Which was reflected with the symbol of the dieing tiger on the back of his Gi.

Tae headed towards the forest. She jumped past the ruins of the castle that was attacked last night. People wondered how it was destroyed even though it seems that no fire destroyed it and there werent any cuts in the wood. Tae felt a demonic presence approach her fast. She then saw a rogue demon in front of her. The rogue demon was trying to punch her but before he got close, Tae tore off his head. The headless corpse of the demon fell down and Tae held a head in her hand. The face of the head had an expression of horror on his face. "Weak creature. Demons nowadays are such fools." Tae said and crushed the demons head with her bare hand. "I should meet up with the others." She went to the forest and waited.

Kaya opened her eyes as the sun came in through her make-shift window, causing the young demon to grumble unhappily. She sat up under her shirt, replacing it on her body and wandered out of the tree she had taken refuge in during the night. He robes were dirty and her hair was untamed, but she headed further into the forest all the same. Her weapon was strapped firmly to her back as she made her drowsy way to the school's general direction. She wasn't happy about having to go to classes and often preferred to stay within trees rather than her room at the school. She wandered aimlessly through the dense growth before coming across Tae. "Good morning, sensei." Was all she said, taking a slow walk behind her teacher.
OOC Notes
He saw his Sensai, and some other female walking with her. He simply snickered to himself. The only thought on his mind was how easy they would be to defeat. Nothing was as easy as they seemed to think. Though the simplistic veiws made him laugh. The story of his life through this string were easy to identifiy as high class, and greater then most. Though they continued making things simple and rather idiotic. He followed only a mere ten paces behind. He figured at this point they weren't going to like him, he wasn't going to care.

"Hello. Kaya. And I noticed Shuogo has been following me too. He really must think he'd be unnoticed." Tae said and smiled. "Well. Let us wait here for the rest to come before we find us those rogue demons. They are wanted dead. I already killed one on the way over here." Tae then sat down against a tree. "I dont need anyone overestimating themselves because it could be fatal. Especially you Shuogo. Just because you think you are tough doesnt mean you will stand a chance against a rogue demon."

Shiro took his time going to the forest. With his hands behind his head he slowly walked around. "If you're going to sneak up... then you should be more quiet." he said spinning around and kicking a demon across the face, smashing it onto a tree. He sighed before continuing his way. "Hmm... this is a nice place to take a nap.. too bad I have visitors trying to kill me.." he muttered watching the shadows flash by him. It didnt bother him, since it looked like they wouldnt attack him... for now. Shiro scratched his head wondering where he was supposed to go.

He heard her speak and shrugged at what she had to say as he said" I don't think to highly of myself, just so lowly of everyone else. rogue demons are nothing special. Infact like i said, everything dies. So if it just happens to be my time, then i'm taking the other bastard with me. Plain and simple." His steely optics never left hers. Just as his right hand never left his sword. His left hand stayed tucked nicely in to his shirt. As if holding on to something. He then said" Besides there's nothing in this world to fear, i don't try to go unnoticed. But the smallest dogs bark the loudest."

"I apologize for not being at the school this morning sensei. I had much on my mind last night." With that, she decided to start looking out for demons.

Tae heard the talking of some demons in the distance. They were walking towards her without noticing her until one of them. The good looking one had a sparkling in his eyes when he looked upon Tae. "Hello cute one. Whats your name?" The guy said. He looked like a wanderer while the rest seemed to be part of the rogue demons. "How long have you been walking with these guys?" Tae asked. Then the guy said: "A bit ago. They said they would show me where Edo is." "Well it seems the didnt kill you because you are a demon. But my mission is to kill them. Step aside." Tae said pulling her sword. "I have to bring the heads of these guys to the emperor because of the crimes they have committed." The man stood aside and hid behind a tree.

He yawned noticign the other female. He heard her words and simply and coldy said" Bushido, the way of the Samurai. Is a quick road to the grave. Assurity in this allows me to not fear anyone, or anything. To die fighting is glory at it's truest." He turned watching Sensai and the male converse. His eyes seemed to for a split second to go fro there normal calm, to a almost insaqne look of rage and focus. His right hand gripped the hilt of his sword tightly. You could hear the sharp metallic ringing as he unsheathed the sword slowly as if centimeter by centimeter. One of the demons in the group made the mistake of charging him. As the demon pulled his Small mishaped sword. The sword's blade was inchs fromhis head, as the demon launched towards him. Within a split second, he had side stepped the oncoming blade. As he did his blade swoftly moved clipping the demons wrist. The wrist was broken, as the demon turned to face him. all there was, was a slight flash of white. The demon stood dumb founded. A slight bleeding of his neck. Shougo stood sheathing his blade. The demons head fell to the ground as his body twitched and fell. Shougo then stated" Fool."He turned back to face the other demons. His eyes seemed t go back to there steely emotionless calm. His fingers untensed as he loosened his grip on the Katana.
OOC Notes
Tae was getting ready for her master technique but she didnt make it all too powerful. The energy ball was tiny and her pressed her hand against the chest of one of the demons. The next moment a wound like hole appeared on the demons back and his heart flew out. "That attack just now. It was the same as from the demon who attacked that samurai lords castle." One demon said. This was bad. Tae needed an answer that would make it seem like someone else had done it: "The same technique you say? I guess I will have to get rid of a formal student of mine then, because only my formal students know that technique. Thanks for the information but we still have to kill you." A demon recognized her face from last night but before he could say anything Tae had already torn his head off.
