Introduction
((Original Idea by Cat847 who gave me special permission to re-make this))
Animals have been going extinct, and now only cats are left, but they too are decreasing quickly. A man decided to conduct an experiment to try and increase the population of cats, but instead he ended up altering the DNA of many teenagers with the DNA of a cat, causing them to become a neko. Many teenagers changed into nekos, and once the man figured out about this, he fled from the town.
Of course, the nekos still had to go to school after being changed, but at school they always felt different and people always messed with them or made fun of them. They weren't respected since they were different... all because of the experiment.
The news about the nekos getting treated differently spread around town quickly, and after a month, the government had created Canese University, a University only for the teenagers that are now nekos.
All the nekos were brought to Canese University even if they didn't want to go. They were told that the University was now their new home, and that they would have to get used to the ways of the University, since they would be there for a long time.
Well, all the nekos got away from being made fun of and feeling different, but they still haven't gotten away from all the drama.... With this new University, what will happen?
Every student in the academy has to share a room with one other person. Each dorm has two bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, and two bathrooms. You can decorate your room any way you want.
Rules of Canese University:
Yes, of course there are rules here. The staff members of the Academy don't really care if you break them though (rules are for breaking >.<), they usually don't pay attention. But if you break the rules and the master of the Academy sees you, your probably going to get in trouble
The rules:
1. No Girls/Guys in your room, besides your roommate, after 12:00 Midnight
2. No Sexual Activity
3. If you start a fight, don't expect any of the staff to help you
4. No Leaving the University grounds after 12:00 Midnight
5. Follow the rules
7. No humans allowed on University Territory
8. No eating after 8:30 P.M.
The Library is open from 5:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

OOC Notes
Kimi was sitting in the back of the class, calculus, chowing down on her mix of catfood and catnip. She knew she wouldnt get noticed, no one pays perticular attention to her now, in this new school. She then got called out by the teacher, wow she was caught, and was told to bring the teacher her food. "No! " Kimi yelled across the class room, instantly getting herself in trouble. The teacher went tot he back fo the classroom, took Kimi's catfood catnip mix, and sent her to her dorm.
Kimi slammed the dorm room door and laid across her bed, she hated this new place, and wanted to leave. Then she had an idea, what if she would break all the rules, she would have to be thrown out! So she snuck out of her dorm, and snuck into dorm 322, turned into her cat form, and hid under a bed, instantly becoming camoflauge. And breaking two rules in one stone, going into a boys dorm, and once it hit midnight, breaking that rule too. Kimi then went to sleep under the bed. She was also hopign that her dormmate, wouldnt mind her missing for a day, or a night.

Rikka and Rissa Toyoto
Rikka followed Rissa silently as they made their way into the gates of their new school. Rissa tossed her long black hair over her shoulder as she pulled her suitcase next to her and admired the large school. Rikka silently followed, staring at her twin's back, lugging along her suitcase.
"Rikka," Rissa said, turning to her sister with a smile of sparkling white teeth, "you'll never get a guy if you keep moping along beside me. It's sort of creepy, to the guy."
"I don't need anyone." Rikka responded, gluing her blue eyes to the ground as she walked, "I'm fine with being alone."
"Heh, sure you are...now. But in a few years, you'll wish you got together while you still could."
She only rolled her eyes. "Rissa, I could get whatever guy I wanted."
"Humph. Okay, then."
Rikka sat down on the steps to the university and pulled out her violin.
"You gonna stay here?" Rissa asked, Rikka's response was to begin playing, "okay then."
Rissa picked up her bags and dragged them up the stairs, "320." She muttered, pushing the door open and dropping her bags on the closest bed and her sister's bags on the other.
She grabbed her guitar case and brought it back outside with her, passing Rikka, who was playing a sad song, and going to a small wooden bench and sitting on it. She pulled out her guitar and began to play the slow, sad song along with Rikka.
There, she waited for the new arrivals to come.
OOC Notes
Kaluv heard the knocks on his dorm room door that morning. He heard the school bell ring. Did he care? Not at all. In fact, he was still chilling out in his dorm, lounging on the comfortable bed with a magazine less than suitable for a school-type setting. When he heard his door open, his attention was momentarily drawn away from his reading material, which he quickly hid behind his back for fear of it being a teacher coming around to recruit him to class. He was relieved when he realized it wasn't. But confused when the cat hid under his bed.
He leaned over his bedside, half-upside down, to peer under his bed, blinking at the cat. "Can I help you?" he asked, blinking with a blank, unamused expression on his face. "You're not my roommate." He continued to stare at the unspecified, currently genderless-looking cat for a moment longer before speaking again. "Get out of my room. You're breaking the rules." Yeah. Like he cared.
He leaned over his bedside, half-upside down, to peer under his bed, blinking at the cat. "Can I help you?" he asked, blinking with a blank, unamused expression on his face. "You're not my roommate." He continued to stare at the unspecified, currently genderless-looking cat for a moment longer before speaking again. "Get out of my room. You're breaking the rules." Yeah. Like he cared.

Kimi came out from under the bed and went abck to her Neko form. "Im not leaving, im trying to break as many rules so i get thrown out. And fine, ill leave for now, but im coming back at night so i can break that rule. Leave the door unlocked, please?" Kimi left the guys dorm and went back to hers.
And laid down, not knowing she accidently laid down on her room mate's bed, and waited for her dorm mate to come after her classes. Or just waited for the lunch bell to ring so she can steal her food back and to go eat lunch by her room mate. But she is embarrassed becasue she keeps forgetting her name. Kimi was in love with Evania, which was the room mates name, she loved hanging out with her, even though she was very shy, she would always try to get her to open up, she plans on asking her to go to the dance with her at lunch. She didnt know if Evania was even lesbian or bisexual, or even liked her. Kimi then accidently feel asleep while laying on Evania's bed,waiting for either the bell to ring, or her room mate to come in.

Lunch! Evania was certainly relieved, having just started the school earlier in the month. She remembered her first day...
...Evania stepped out unto a patch of grass and headed for the dorms. 'What if your roommate hates you? Or, worse yet, actually tries to get to know you?' Ignoring herself, she walked down hall upon hall, eventually reaching room 321. Taking a beep breath, she prepared herself and stepped through the doorway... and into an empty room. Of course, she could already judge her roommate via her decoration choices, but there was absolutly no one in the room. 'Or... we'll get lucky and she'll just avoid you.' Had she forgotten that Evania would be arriving that day? Retrieving her information, she looked up the name of her new roommate. Kimi Saga, 16. Although it felt quite dirty (for lack of a better word), she snuck over to see who she would be sleeping with. Plutonically, of course (besides the fact that it was against school regulations, Evania was fairly comfortable with her Heterosexual status). Kimi seemed like a pretty, friendly young girl, the overly cheerful sort. 'Great... 'cause we really need to be befriended. Yuck.' Evania wasn't necassarily disgusted by relationships, in fact she often fantasized about them, but the healthy ones tended to deter themselves from her, as if her social akwardness were contagious. With plenty of time to spare and ablolutely nothing to do, she decided to set up camp. After officially decorating (everything simple and vague, and everything blue and white), she plopped down upon the bed and began to read Emily Dickenson poems out loud for the heck of it, gravitating towards the darker ones where she housed her comfort zone...
... Now as she walked in the found Kimi laying upon her bed, obviously sound asleep. Sighing, she set up shop upon Kimi's bed, deciding to let her rest a bit longer, and hurried to finish her Calc. homework. Not that she had anything better to do, she didn't plan on eating, but she despised Math and wanted to get it out of the way ASAP. Halfway through she remembered that Kimi's lunch had been stolen, and paid a visit to the teacher in order to get it back. 'Wow, suckup, why don't you just wake her up already. Ha! You should shake her! Fun...' Setting the bag down gently, she picked Kimi up, spinning around slowly with her in her arms, and then setting her upon her own bed. "Kimi... Kimi.... c'mon now. Kimi!" She whispered softly into her ear, attempting to wake her without a need for physical contact.

Kimi finally woke up to see her room mate right in her face, of course scaring her. "Wha- AH!" Kimi jumped a little. "Oh sorry, you just scared me." Kimi sat up slowly and looked aorund the room, noticing her catfood and catnip mix was here. "Oh m god, you went and got me my catnip mix back for me, thanks." Kimi hugged Evania, then letting go and blushing a little. "Thank you Evania, if there's anything i can do to make it up to you, just tell me. Ok?" Kimi said in a cheerful manner, then looked at her watch and noticed it was almost lunch time. "So uh, Evania, do you have any plans for lunch? I mean like are you going to eat in here, or in the cafeteria?" She said as she picked up her bag of catfood and sweet human foods. "Or maybe we could get off campus and say we are shopping, and then even maybe go shopping for clothes for the dance." Kimi then noticed she accidently mentioned the dance. "Well I mean not exactly for the dance, that was just a suggestion." Kimi said quickly, and waiting for a response.

Evania jumped as Kimi flipped out, banging the back of her head violently against the wall. 'Klutz!' Holding it, she clung on to the bedpost to avoid passing out, acted nonchalant, and tuned in to what Kimi had been saying. " -or lunch? I mean like are you going to eat in here, or in the cafeteria? Or maybe we could get off campus and say we are shopping, and then even maybe go shopping for clothes for the dance. Well I mean not exactly for the dance, that was just a suggestion." Kimi seemed oddly... awkward today. 'Hey, isn't that your job?' "Uh... wasn't planning on eating lunch today, but I'll snack on some treats. It would be nice to get off campus... yeah, why not? We can go shopping for the dance if you want, although I don't know if I'm gonna go." Clearing her head, Evania found some cat treats and some money. Offering to take Kimi's mix, she put it all in a bag and sat back down. "Do... you wanna head out, or eat lunch first?"
OOC Notes
Kimi then stood up, shocked to hear that Evania isnt going to the dance. "What? Your not going to the dance why not?" Then noticing what just happend to Evania. "Sorry for making you hit your head, i guess thats two things ill have to make up to you." She giggled. "Why dont we head out first, and maybe i can talk you into going to the dance." Kimi said with a smile, and going through her drawers to get money, a cople hundred, thanks to her parents. They always sent moeny up every couple of weeks. Kimi then went to put on her shows, the old fashiond way of standing on one foot and sliding the other one on. But as she was doing this, she lost her balance and fell into Evania, and both fo them falling onto the bed, with herself ontop of Evania. Kimi face was blushing so much, her face was practically all red, she was really embarrassed at what just happened. She immidiatly got off of her and started aplogizing. "Oh my god, im so so sorry Evania!"

"Oof." Evania laughed, apologizing as she sat up. "It's fine, really. No need to fret." She stifled her laughter and looked over her money. Thirty-seven dollars wouldn't get her very far, but she'd make it work to her advantage. "Anyways, I won't go if I don't have a reason to. It would be pointless, and... awkward." Speaking of awkward, she had yet to figure out what was bothering Kimi. Brushing this aside, she got up and held the door for her. "Even if I don't go. We are going to make this a wonderful night for you, deal?" She held out her hand, ready to shake on the bet.

Akemi had to sit through her first class, Pre-Calculus, and see some of the students missing. She didn't know most of the students this year for it is not her first year at this school. Most of her other friends either got kicked out or just dropped out. She had to laugh as one of the female students had an outburst over some food. It was a funny sight to see, but she had to refocus on her school work now. She went through Literature so her next class after that was Art. On her way to class though she saw signs for the dance. She would probably just go with one of her friends. She was excited to go to it though, no matter if she had a date or not. Finally she made it to art and she took her spot next to the middle window. Art was her peaceful subject out of all of them. It was also her favorite one. It came time for lunch and she went out side to eat today. Akemi went and sat on the same hill as last year with a girl friend she has known for a long time.

Zack fell out of his bed with a thud, he looked upon the clock to see that it had already past lunch (or so he thought) "dang...what did i do last night" he put his hand on his forehead and sighed. "urgh alwell...its my second day...so far so good" Zack flipped up from the ground and brushed himself off, then he slowly turned to the mirror and posed "ha!" he smirked at himself then decided to get ready for what was left for the day.
After half an hour Zack walked out his dorm room with an apple in his mouth. He shut the door to the dorm 333 and took a bit into his apple, which seemed to echo through out the hall. "hmm...looks like im alone..." he sighed to walk to his next class, as lunch was almost finnished, on the way to his next class of hell Zack began to think to himself ~A dorm..all to myself..is that really a good thing?~ "Ha ha... of course it is" He laughed to himself then took another bite into his deep red apple "NOM!" slowly licking the juices away from his lips. suddenly he just sat down outside his next class, waiting for lunch to end. "damn...i really do hate waiting.." Zack sighed as time ticked on.

Kimi slid her shoe on, without falling this time, and stood up and listened to what Evania ahd to say, 'She has to reason to, maybe if i ask her out to go to the dance with me, the chances are pretty high.' Kimi thought to herself. She then smiled and looked up at Evania, and shook her hand. "Ok, and thanks. And why dont you pick where we go for lunch." Kimi said as she went out the door which Evania had opened for her. "I can pay if you want." Kimi said while taking a hundred out of her pocket and smiling. Then she started to blush a little, she was aboout to ask the question shes been wanting to ask. "So to make it not akward, why don't me and you go as a date?" Kimi then turned all red, she accidently said date. "I mean, not as a date, i mean as uh, as friends. Yeah" She said trying to cover up the "date" thing.
OOC Notes
Evania was embarrased by Kimi's generous offer. Her family did not send her anything... anything at all. In fact, no matter how many letters were sent to her little brother, Nik never seemed to reply, and Evania feared he hadn't recieved them. "Oh. You can choose if you'd like, I mean, if you pay." Evania wasn't big on charity or pity, but if was a useful offer. 'Conning money off of your dorm mate now, are we? Nice friend you are.' Of course, there was no conning involved, but Evania accepted this as the way her mind worked and moved past it. She stopped suddenly, caught off gaurd by Kimi's inquiry. Evania had never actually attended a dance... she had never had a reason to, and her akwardness during social situations always came into play. She stood there thinking for a brief moment, eventually nodding her head slowly. "Alright. But if I embarrass you in any way, don't hold be responsable." She gave a nervous laugh, and started up again, making her way across the Quad and contemplating on where to go next.

Kimi followed behind Evania, feeling embarassed by how she asked to go to the dance. 'I wonder if she likes me at all, she did pause after i asked...' Kimi thought to herself. "Hey Evania..." Kimi stopped suddenly, not wanting to ask her, hopeing that she didnt hear her. She then started to think of a way to come up with some way to try to cover it up. 'Crap, what am i going to say, what am i going to say!?' Kimi's thoughts were racing through her mind. 'Should i just plain out ask her, or tell her how i feel? No, then what if she doenst, she will feel akward around me.' Kimi then thought of something. 'Hmm, that might work plus i can found out if she likes anyone, or boys specificly.' "... So are there any boys around campus you like, or are interested in? If you dont mind me asking."

Evania stalled from answering Kimi's inquiry, dragging her to the nearest store with haste. She helped Kimi to pick out dresses. Only when she had found something to put on did she reply, standing in front of the dressing room. "No. No one." She cocked her head slightly, smiled, and ducked behind the curtain. Within minutes she returned to pose in front of the mirror. Satisfied, she spun around, coming to face Kimi and giving her a smal curtsy. "You?"

Kimi tried on many dresses, only to find one, which was black and went down to right about her heel. She was relieved with Evanis responce, just what she wanted her to say. She smiled at evania's dress, up until she asked Kimi the same quesiton back. She just had to let it out, but not that she liked her, only that she wasnt into boys. "Well, uh, to be honest..." Kimi's face started to get red, she was blushing. She then finished saying ehr answer. "Well im not entirley into boys, im what people would say lesbian." She then went into the dressing room and changed abck into her causal clothes, and sat in there for awhile, embarrassed.

Luna slowly walked down the halls, slightly worried to where she was going.I really regret missing some school days now... She then looked around to see if anybody was near to ask for directions. Her lips parted, a sigh was released. no one... Luna continue to walk down the hall to eye a sliding door, she opened it to see a black grand piano. She begin to think how lucky she was to find the piano, she sat down on the chair. When she opened the cover, she saw shiny, white, keys. Her eyes gleamed in excitement, luna's fingers rested on the piano keys. There was complete silence, until a sound of someone taking in a air, before a sound of notes. Cerulean eyes slowly close as her finger somewhat danced on the keys. The tune of "Merry ground of Life" filled the air in the room. A soft smile laced Luna's lips, as she played.

Kaluv eventually grew bored on lounging in his dorm. He got up and decided he'd wander campus, despite the fact that he was supposed to be 'skipping' class right now. Probably not the best of ideas, but he never really went to school before, so why should it matter to him now? That's how he looked at things anyhow. As he was wandering the halls, he passed by a flyer taped up. A school dance? Oh, joy. Just some dumb event. And he needed a date? Well. This was going to be exciting Having a day to find himself a date. Not to mention, he missed a good bit of lunch, so he hardly knew anyone here. He hadn't even met his roommate yet.

Evania drew a breath as Kimi stepped out in her dress, which made hers seem like a nightgown. At that moment, Kimi seemed... happy, which filled Evania with content. Changing and returning the dress to the rack, she listened intently to what would soon be said. She grew worried while Kimi blushed deeper and deeper, relieved when she received an answer which wasn't completely treacherous. "Well im not entirley into boys, im what people would say lesbian." Kimi fled for the changing room, giving Evania a moment to let it sink in. She returned to find Evania wretching behind a rack, trying to hold her hair out of her face. When poor Kimi was close enough, she spun around, hugging Kimi tighly and sighing. 'Woah, I think she bought it. You are so evil... wait, since when are you this fun?' Embarrased at the accusation, she apologized quickly and sat down. What had gotten into her? "Uh... Kimi. Uh... I'm sorry. This is why a never participate in pranks." 'Unless of course they're pranking you!' Internally smothering herself, she gave a nervous laugh, and then continued. "So, uh... let's reiterate the question. You interested in any girls?"

Luna's cerulean colored eyes snapped open to the voice of a male. She looked at the newcomer with a shocked face that soon covered with a calm mask. When did he get here....Luna felt slightly embarrassed being seen playing, but it never showed since her calm facade was always on. "are you sure you want me to play the same song again, i could play many songs..." She tried not to sound like she cared, and tried not look at him directly in the eye. Her tail swayed slowly, and while her black ears twitch waiting for an answer.

Erscilia and Sekou were slowly walking towards their new home/school holding hands, yes they were sixteen but who cares they only had each other, as they reached the gates they pushed the buzzer "Hi it's Erscilia and Sekou Camber" Erscilia says and then there is a buzzing noise as the gate opens.
They walk in and head towards the large school, coming to the door they enter and come to a desk and Erscilia says "We're here for our room numbers and schedules.
The receptionist hands them each a piece of paper and says to Erscilia "Room 326 for you and room 325 for your brother" Sekou nods and heads towards the dorms pulling his sister behind him mutely, they reach room 325 first and Sekou went into his room. As he looks around he sees that his room mate hasn't arrived yet and settles himself into one of the bedrooms.

Akemi finished up the rest of her school day and headed back to her dorm. Today she was going to go off campus to see some of her old friends, but they would have to wait for now, she was tired. She headed back to her dorm to see someone else had moved in. "I was really hoping to be alone this year." Last year she had a party type room mate. Least to say she was not happy about it. She pulled out one of her favorite books and began reading. It was what she usually did if she had nothing else to do. Her bed was by the window so the sun cast just enough light for her to be able to read. She wondered who her new room mate was. Hopefully someone close to her personality.

Zack ear's twitched as the horrible screeching noice soon reached his ears, which disturbed his peaceful nap outside his next class. "W-what the heck!?" the sound seemed to be getting a whole lot worse by the second, soon enough Zack couldnt take the pain any more. He stuffed a bar of chocolate into his mouth and began to follow the horid sound. Further up the hall Zack spotted a girl walking towards him, with her sharp claws slashing against the wall with each step, it was as if the wall was crying with so much pain being forced upon it. The volume of the sound got louder as the rather attractive neko came closer, Zack finished what was left of his choclate bar and began walking towards her. Zack stood a few feet away from her, He gased upon her face... she didnt look to happy...infact she seemed to be pissed off about something. At that moment Zack noticed something... she didnt looked like any normal neko, infact her ears and hair were a completly different colour. Zack grabbed her wrist and smiled at her "Can you please stop that?" Zack didnt want to seem mean... infact he was only trying to be friendly to her.

Kimi and Evania did go shopping together, and bought stuff for the dance, which they are going together, as a "date." Kimi has flirted with Evania, not knowing or not if Evania even knows, and is planning on telling Evania who she likes, which is Evania, at the dance.

@ Spectrum- Nick isn't too cool for school, he's just cool, kinda. He's sensitive though, but he won't let you see it. And he's shy around large groups of people, and doesn't do well at social event. He grew up a prince, after all. He's only good at fighting. And he's used to getting what he wants.
