Ronny said a thanks to everyone who had helped, but stuck her tongue out at Locke. "exactly. You said stay out of THE kitchen, meaning only one kitchen, right? And the way you said it before meant the one at our house thanks to the context clues. And Lockey, we're not in our kitchen or home anymore." She shrugged but began chugging the chocolate milk. She swallowed the entire thing in one breath, buut ended up with a chocolate milk mustache. She rinsed the cup out and left it in the sink.

Amber looked over the map carefully; she barely reconized it, considering she wasn't used to seeing maps of the school. But maybe she could piece a few things together? Like maybe one of the classrooms she had used as a dorm? She shook it off; this certainly wasn't the best time for nostalgia. She glanced over the line he drew carefully, deciding it would probably work better than anything she might come up with. After all, he probably knew the other Hirule better than she did. She nodded to herself, then glanced around at everyone else. "Everyone did pay attention, right? Soon as we get past the front gate we make a distraction. I may need one or two with me when I head to the office, just in case," she warned.


Arlayna barely paid attention, glancing at the little girl, then taking a brief glance at the map. She glanced around, noticing that the one girl, Ella? She was finally up, and helped out Ronny. She gave a little shrug, then looked down. It sounded like it might work, depending on how strong their forces really were. After all, she hadn't fought against, or with, a large group before, since usually it was just her and Adrien, so it would take some getting used to. At the very least, she hoped it would make everything easier.

Freya was back at her perch on the counter and was listening in on the plans. She hadn't planned on helping, but just enough to warn the headmaster of the plan. She made her own plan to slip away from the group, pretending to be a distraction so the rest of them wouldn't follow her. "Sounds like a solid idea," she said, her tail curling and uncurling as she thought about what sort of untold riches she would have. Especially forAmber and Ella. Shee could retire then! And have a normal life.

Adrien stared at the map he had heard exactly what Artemis had said and he didnt like how he hadnt included himself in the plan. and the fact that his mother would need two to be with her. He paced the kitchen as his mother planed next to Artemis his job was to keep her safe her and Arlayna that's what dad would have wanted from him. so he let the two plan he would just adjust as things happened.

Kage stood there, arms crossed as he inspected the plan. It seemed okay, but he had thought that saving the kids trapped at Carnes was the main point. "What about the kids that want to come with us if we rescue them?" he asked, shaking his head in disapproval. "ALl hell will probably break loose, because things never go as planned, but that will leave them stranded there." He continued staring at the map. "At least one of us should try to save them. Hell, I'll volunteer for the job because I know having a family member trapped isn't fun as I'm sure the rest of you kno.

Adrien listened to Kage, and then spoke up. "I agree plans ar eusuless once things start to happen but teams are important because you need to know who has your back." Adrien glanced around the room. "Amber will need an escort and then perhaps two smaller assault teams with. that is what we need to figure out." Adrien said calmly

Artemis turned and looked out at the city through the glass at an imposing structure in the distance the powerful Carnes… a castle that had stood for centuries and guarded the secrets of the world. It was where his parents had grown up, where all of those who stood in the room with him now had origins. It had seen many dark days, many battles; all that had led to the state of the world now. And at that moment he was reliving those battles. His mother had told him the stories for years, and one story still stuck with him so vividly he could see that day in his mind’s eye, even before his birth. The Day his father returned… and everything changed…

Shad was thrown back coughing up sand like he had been expecting Ferus to be doing. Crystal shards were sliding out of his flesh as it healed from that last attack, even at his speed and strength Shad had no chance of getting close enough to the spiraling tornado of power surrounding Ferus to make a damaging hit. The sand whistled past his ears in the after blast, this wouldn't end well for any of them if their only plan was to kill Ferus. Damn it where was Desmond when you fucking needed him. Shad's ear twitched as he listened to Kalen.

"He’s going to kill Desmond, the –ah- the minute he steps onto the threshold of the gate"

"Then I'm going to have to stall long enough that he can't." Shad growled. He was going to bring Desmond back no matter how much he hated the bastard, sure he was a pain, but Ferus was lower scum than Desmond and if he had to work with the hirule to take down Ferus he would. Shad rose from the ground lightning fast with a malevolent grin on his face, he had an idea.

"Jaimie, Amber, I need as much blood as you can offer, Kalen, only if you can spare any." He looked at the three of them demanding.

Jaimie glared right back at him, "Don't waste it." he responded and smirked. "Leave me enough to run, that's all I need." Shad took Jaimie's wrist and recovered as much blood as he could before Jaimie would be incapable of any movement. He was plenty full after that but he needed to be at peak power.

Next he approached Amber with more caution and as she offered him her wrist he ignored it and went straight to her neck. Desperation poured through him into her as he took blood leaving only enough for her to survive. He hungered for her and would protect her to his last breath and now he realized this might be the last time he'd see the pathetic human. He licked the wound and lightly kissed it as a token of thanks, Ambers blood would serve as his life force, while Jaimie's would be his strength. Now for the final step.

He removed something he had been hiding under his shirt. The Blood Gem of the Knight Clan, one of the three most powerful symbols of the entire vampire race. It began to hum as he drew power from it, he had no idea what the potential of the stone was or the last time it was used, but he knew its power was not to be tampered with. He increased the power he was taking from it. Slowly the gem seemed to liquefy seeping under his pale skin. A burning sensation like branding took over his entire right hand as intricate red tattoos burned themselves up his arm, slowly it rose to cover his chest and face and continued to the rest of his body. His wings were suddenly coated with the strange swirling pattern of the burning red scars.

Finally his bodily transformation was complete with the power of his clan backing him up, but he needed a weapon. He took the chain the blood gem had been on and held it in his hand the chain grew and twisted around his hands until it formed two clawed hands. The chain could become any weapon the owner wished and although his weapon of choice would be a bow, claws seemed much more appropriate for this fight. Shad couldn't hold himself back any longer he let his beastly mentality take over, screw humans, screw morals, he was a vampire, the strongest race from this world and he wasn't going to let a hirule prove him wrong. Pulling back a claw he took an offensive stance.

"You're dead Hirule!!!" Shad yelled his eyes a pure red with black slits. He charged at Ferus leaped into the sky with his deadly wings and dove. This fight was over, Ferus wouldn't know what hit him.

As the wave of energy came towards Aiden , he began to twist his body. As the wave collided it glanced off his slowing him down but not stoping his forward momentum. Teeth bared Aidn came in for another set of attacks one for one of Ferus's legs and the knife going for a slash across his chest.

Mean while zach landed outside the combat zone as he stared at the sand his beady black eyes burning into the ground as he began to scratch something into the ground. The bird worked with a percision of a artist his motions where deliberate and focused .

Ferus wasn’t expecting the two to counter him so swiftly, not to say he wasn’t prepared though. As Aiden, who would arrive first came around out of the corner of his eye Ferus turned on his heel, the blade swinging loosely in his hand to try and catch the werewolf with the broad side of the blade. He’d find that the sword wasn’t loosely held at all, but rather that this Hirule was packing a very large punch for one of his kind. The sword was like a battering ram and Ferus was certainly stronger than any Hirule that Aiden had met, almost as physically strong as Kalen for some reason.

Shad was next on Ferus’ list to deal with as with the same motion he had used to either hit Aiden or at least force him to back away for a moment he pulled the blade up and toward the sky, an arc of power flowing from it and crystalizing into another wave of crystal shards. Ferus’ aura was oppressive near him and the sand fled from his feet and outward as he hovered slightly in the air from the concentration of power flowing from the blade. It wasn’t overwhelming though, if they thought back it would be very reminiscent of Desmond when Star had sent him out of control, and he had fought at full might with no regard for his own safety.

That blade was irradiating a lot of power, easily equal to several lower level creatures combined, and that was just the ambient power that the blade wasn’t transferring to its wielder. This was clearly going to be the fight of their as yet young lives.

Aiden reacted to the incoming blade swiftly, He took the dagger and inverted it so it ran along the downside of his arm. Aiden then met the blade with his instead of trying to stop it, deflecting it up and over his head. Aiden wasn't sure who this man was but he was beyond skilled, a true combatant. As the blade passed overhead Aiden Lunged into the attacker Leading with his claw to grab Ferus by his wrist and throwing a punch with his other fist holding the bone knife in a matter that both his fist and the blade of the knife would impact on him.

As zach finished the first symbol He took to the air moving swiftly to the other side, The bird flew faster than any normal bird to say the least. as it landed and began scratching another symbol in the ground.

The force Ferus was dealing with was greater than Shad's, that was sure but Ferus still didn't know what Shad was capable of and that shock wave of crystals was enough to brutally damage him, yet he continued his dive. The crystals approached at high speeds and Shad didn't dodge a single one. With splashes the shards dove into his body and with another splatter came out the other side of his body, Shad didn't even wince. The wounds were gone in less than a second.

Shad smirked, he stood a chance, and continued his dive, the force of Ferus' power just kept getting strong so Shad blasted him with his own aura, taking down all of his walls Shad's aura blazed red around him. As Shad entered the toughest atmosphere of Ferus' aura they collided with bits of flame and Shad continued going. His claws were bared and he was ready to face the blade.
