Introduction
Welcome to Carnes High a magical castle filled with monsters of all breeds. Think Hogwarts only instead of pathetic wizards the halls are filled with terror provoking monsters and ghouls. Currently in the monster world there has been much debate over admitting human students into the school so in order to experiment they send in two new students, one girl and one boy, to see how long they last.
New characters are still welcome, just try to maintain a balance enemys seem to be beating friends currently and I'm very confused if my character is actually a friend or not.....

ABSOLUTELY NO HALF-HUMAN HALF-MONSTERS it ruins the entire point of the role play. Do not super power your monster and they must have a weakness. Most monsters will appear human on a daily basis around school, however once school is over monsters will tend to walk around in their true forms. Most monsters normally eat humans so keep that in mind.

As the GM, all you need to do is state no god modding. You then have every right to ask someone to stop if they do something you feel is god modding. You don't clearly state what role RPers will take, rather leaving people to figure it out later on by assumption. These are all things you can change to help improve the flow of the style. The plot is honestly slightly vague. One is forced to assume what the roleplay will be about, rather than it being clearly stated. While the plot is fairly heavily implied, one shouldn't need to assume at all. There are a handful of spelling mistakes and a few run on sentences. Lastly, most of the setting is described simply as "like Hogwarts". While I personally understand what that means to a degree, it's not technically a proper way to describe something, and tells those that aren't intimately familiar with Harry Potter almost nothing. Though it's hard, I recommend writing up at least a short paragraph giving a basic description of the place. Perhaps it's a large medieval-esque castle full of magical wonders?

OOC Notes
Alex tugged on his back-pack. Looking up at the great spires of the castle in front of him, he squinted as the sunlight caught his eyes. Yep, he thought to himself, good choice buddy! You outdid yourself this time! he had a smile on his face as he walked down the pathway leading through a few arches and to the front door. Looking around, he did notice a few people intently staring at him. Applying pressure on his forearms, he was comforted to know that his throwing knives were still securely strapped to his forearms, underneath his jacket. I'm the new kid, Alex told himself, Of course they'll be staring... This was not his old high-school, he just needed to relax a bit.
OOC Notes
Shad was allready settled in his dorm, he had been stuck at the school all summer making up classes he had skipped all of last year and wasn't particularly interested in this year. A familiar smell caught his attention, human, now there was a smell he hadn't had the pleasure of smelling for at least a year. He makes his way toward the scent finding a new student standing at the front gates, funny his parents failed to mention there was a human entering the school. Shad Approaches the newbie, "Welcome to Carnes, who are you?" he asks bluntly smirking at the human with superiority. His fangs were lengthening quickly and he desperately wanted to kill this human right there and then.
OOC Notes
Amber hesitated, looking up at the building. A new school. She was used to moving around, and changing schools, but that didn't make it any easier than the first time. She shook her head before continuing, but stopping when she saw someone else standing at the gate, and another person talking with him. She took a deep breath, as quietly as she could, and tried to slip by the pair, as unnoticed as possible, slightly tightening her grip on her notebook. She was never too fond of company she didn't know very well. She only glanced at them as she tried to pass, before looking around at everyone else. She paused after she had gotten past them, glancing down to make sure the pencil was still in the spiral, before walking towards the building.
OOC Notes
Kiera is sitting in the courtyard of the school, under the shadow of a grand oak, when the stench of human reaches her nose. She crinkles her nose, her face slightly turning upwards toward the entrance. " Please do me a favor and don't bring me their smell" she says to seemingly nothing. She smiles when the shadows respond to her, ridding the area of the smell. Had anyone been there they would have thought she was insane. She draws pictures of nightmare looking pictures, and had a person looked closely they would have found a familiar face somewhere in the drawing.

Alex smiled incredulously. He might be new at the school, but he was not born yesterday. The person in front of him reeked of chauvinism, and an eager wanting...almost. Shrugging off that last, it was not the first time Alex had been exposed to characters such as him. As the kid spoke, his teeth almost seemed to gain length. Alex shook his head, putting aside the absurd thought, and answered him back.
"Alexandros Dimitrious," he said in reply, he tried to make his returning smile as genuine as he possibly could, I don't want any enemies yet...

OOC Notes
Aiden sat under a tall tree as he watched the events at the gates unfold. "So that must be the new boy and that must be the human girl....how interesting." He thought to himself as he continued watching Shad converse with the human. This probably wasn't going to end well. Aiden stood up and tucked his hands into his pocket as he aproched the three by the gate, the girl was walking towards the school Aiden smiled at her and waved slightly trying to be a little more cheerful than usual. then he came up behind Shad. "Hey Shad what you got here?" said Aiden as he stepped up to Alex and stuck out his hand without giving Shad time to answer.
"My name is Aiden Desmond, Your new to Carnes this year arnt you?" Aiden asked in a freindly manner. This was a horrible idea, the full moon was just days away and here he was playing nice with new people, who had no idea what was ahead of them. He definatly had to keep himself in check.

OOC Notes
Aiden's entrance reminded Shad where he was, in the middle of a very crowded area where everyone would see him drain and kill the human. Shad is immeadiatly shoved out of the way by Aiden, who perhaps just saved the pathetic human's life. His fangs retract, "Why bother asking him that question when you know the answer?" Shad responds to Aiden before Alex can annoyed yet thankful that Aiden had prevented his murder. "I'm Shad, just so you know." The scent of the other human caught his attention now and he was nearly overwhelmed, his fangs instantly grew and even his wings were pressing to get out. He covers his mouth quickly as if to cough so he didn't scare Alex, plus if any of the teachers caught him this close to true form when students were suposed to appear human he'd be punished. Shad relaxes and thinks of monster blood the nasty multicolored liquid he drank day after day, slowly his fangs dissappear again.
OOC Notes
Amber only barely recognized the fact that someone had smiled at her, but noticed the wave more readily. As soon as he started to head towards the other two, she continued on towards the building. She had to figure out where everything was, perhaps figure out the quickest ways to get there, and hopefully before class actually started. As she went, she kept looking around warily, which was normal for her; she didn't know anyone, and that certainy didn't help much. She sighed to herself, shaking her head. Why did she have to go to a different school so often? She hated this part of moving. She opened her notebook, making short notes as she walked towards the building, glancing up every now and then; working on descriptions of people. She'd have to come up with some personality later on that matched what the person looked like, and then see whether or not she was close. A meaningless little game she liked to play sometimes at new places. Not that she often finished it; she didn't usually talk with them enough to know whether or not she had been right. Still, it kept her busy enough, and was something she could do on her own for now. She paused when she reached the building, glancing back at her schedule to remind herself which class she had first; that would be her first "project." She walked inside, trying to find the room.
OOC Notes
Alex was sort of taken aback by the behaviour. Sure, he was an easygoing guy, but he had not even really had time to let that shine, yet. Already, before even stepping into the school, he had been approached by two school-mates. "Alex," he said as he smiled and shook Aiden's hand, "And nice to meet you too Shad. Uhm...you alright over there? You seem kind of sick..."
He might as well just accept the happenings of the day. Who knows he might turn out with a few friends!

Aiden watched shad closley as he regained control, "He will be fine, hes just not having a good day." Aiden said with a smile as he looked at Shad. Shad wasnt the type of kid you wanted to mess with, he could be dangerous but then again so could Aiden. "So whats your schedule look like?"aiden then asked as he actually looked at his own. Aiden could already tell it was gonna be one of those years and it wasn't because of his schedule either.

Deilos was already seated in the classroom, far in the comer at the back right next to a window, he looks sleepily outside the window, witnessing two the two new student's arrival, he yawned and stretched in his seat, his red eyes closed for a while before they were opened again, when he smelt human, mumbering to himself, "I guess.... after all the rumors were true" turning his attention to the door, as he looks past what little students is already present in the room, the students quickly turned away from his glance as they don't even dared to look at him in his eye. "I hope lessons starts soon.... this is really boring" he commented to himself, as he rested his head on the desk looking at the door, hoping that something interesting would happen soon.
Touching what it seems to be like a necklace around his neck, which is featured an item of a beautifully carved scythe, which really is his weapon, he asked for it to be magically enchanted before coming to this school, so he did not have to hold a 6 foot long weapon where ever he goes too. He wished silently that it is already night, so he could go and play... alone, and spreading his wings just because he wanted too. He listen silently as he eyes were closed, the many footsteps that are echoing outside the classroom, waiting listlessly for lessons to start. with a face with that totaly have big huge words(bored) written in the air above him.

Shad responds normally, "My throat's just a little dry." he smirks, Alex would have no idea what he's talking about but Aiden would. "I'm going to actually go to my first class now if you don't mind, Good bye Alex, Aiden." Shad walks away thinking he'd go after the girl now, she looked like a loner it wouldn't be too hard to get her in a dark and lonely place where he could have his fill.

Kiera looks at her black watch, intricaltly desined with delicate flowers and shadows. "Time to go to class my dears." She says getting up gracefully, not even using her hands to help lift herself. She picks up her notebook, closes it, taking a long look at a current scene she was working on. A scythe was hidden in the backround and she looks closely seeing Deilos. She walks toward the class she shared with him and when she gets there her eyes narrow. She walks up, "Is there a reason you are sitting in my seat Deilos. You know I don't appreciate it." The shadows of every kid flickers, barely perceptively. She glares, her eyes locking onto his red eyes, something barely anyone but her did.

Opening his eyes, as once again he sees one of the few that dared to talk to him in such manners, the one who lost her memories, Kiera. Lifting his head from the desk he looks on the table then back at her pointing at the desk itself, " I don't see your name written on the desk, that would say it belong to you, and if i remember right... today is the first day of school right?" he looks at her with very much sleepy eyes thinking that she's not of much threat to him, "The teachers havn't even assigned which seat we should take yet, first come first serve, unless u can carry me, Truthfully i'm too lazy to move right now" he retorted back at her, once again resting his head on 'her' table's desk, right now it's day time, because of that, students normally are not allowed to fight, Delios have no intention of starting a fight anyway, he just wants to pass the time quickly. when he suddenly added, "oh if your really going to carry me..." he looks at Kiera "don't use your shadows to do your job" after which he had a small yawn as he looks at Kiera. "so?" waiting for her answer

Kiera opens her notebook and writes her name in long cursive letters. She rips it out and slams it down on the desk, "Sorry, forgot to mark it. Now it is, so you can now move your way to another seat." Kiera closes her notebook and then waves in the genral direction of the teacher, "Plus they know which is my spot, it's unsaid that they put me here. It, " Kiera flutters her eyelashes, "is the only place I can concentrate. So why would they not place me here." Then she laughs lightly and moves her face closer to his ear, saying quietly, "My shadows don't do all my work. Don't forget that."
OOC Notes
Amber held her schedule out in front of her, trying to memorize the room her first class was in. If she could, maybe she wouldn't have to look down so often later on. She started down the halls, trying to figure out the order the rooms were in; not so hard. At least, not so hard when she didn't have one number she was trying to keep in her head. She had to constantly look back at the rooms, then back at her schedule. She was going to get herself lost...which, actually, wasn't that hard for her. She could manage to forget where she was in her own house; that was particularly embarrassing when she had had frineds over. She blamed it on moving so often, though she couldn't say for sure. She paused, leaning against a wall, looking at her schedule again, trying again to remember the room her first class was in. She hoped she wouldn't end up being too late for class; there was already no doubt in her mind that she would at least be a little late, anyway.

Deilos looks at the slammed piece of paper before him, that had written 'Kiera' on it, he then takes out a sticky tape and tapes it to the desk, boy was he too bored to be doing this? "maybe you should vandalize this table by carving your name into it" he joked as he removed himself from the seat grading his bag and his jacket that's been hanging loosely over the back of the chair, he move one seat in front of Kiera and plotted down into the seat just as quickly with once again with a plastered bored face. "I was really looking forward too... if you choose to carry me" he said, though in his tone had a bit mischief in it.

"Lost?" Shad asks mysteriously creeping up next to Amber. She was cute, definately human, and perfectly eatible. "You're new here right?" He smiles politely looking much more full of energy than he did outside in the sun. "I can help you find your class if you want." he suggests with hidden intentions, there were some pretty empty hallways in the school and nobody would see if he took a tiny sip, his fangs grew just thinking about it.

Amber jumped a little when, suddenly, there was someone next to her. She glanced at him, then looked back at her schedule, thinking. She didn't like asking for help from people she didn't know very well...let along someone she didn't know at all. But, as she thought about it, she was likely to get herself even more lost if she refused. She shrugged with a little sigh. "I guess I could use the help..." She hesitantly showed her the schedule. "I'll only waste my time trying to get anywhere on my own, anyway..." She looked away quickly; what was she thinking, admitting that? This year was going to be no different than any other; she was only going to keep embarassing herself, keep making a fool of herself. Nothing new there.
OOC Notes
Kiera smiles a artificially sweet smile, "I would but I try to keep in my regular self during the day. Sadly I don't have anything sharp enough. Thanks for the idea, I'll have to explore that idea more." She slides into the warm seat, replacing his recently departed stuff with her own bag. She stares at the back of his head, a playfull tone, "Maybe when we're not in school, I can show you that I'm not some small demon." She watches his hair move slightly as a shadow pushes it around. Seems that I have found my entertainment for the year.

Shad lost his abbility to think clearly, the hunger was becoming to much for him to handle, he wanted human blood so badly right now. He could be good and tell her what he wanted and hope she said yes, or he could forcefully rip her neck apart right now. His throat burned and his fangs were full length now clearly visible to the girl. He began to feel sickly just for resisting a little while longer he leans against the wall out of illness. "That's it.... I can't take being the goody goody vampire anymore." He says gasping for air. He grabs her by the shoulders with lightning fast reflexes and right there in the open, he bites her neck taking in the sweet red blood. So much for selfcontrol

Amber looked up curiously when he leaned agaist the wall. The curosity quickly turned into fear at the sight of fangs that had suddenly...just appeared. She was sure she hadn't seen them before. But, before there was anything she could do, she felt those fangs sinking into her neck. She was frozen in shock for a second, and then she was trying to push him away. And here she had thought it was some sort of sick joke at first! ...Or something like that, anyway. "Stop it!" Though, even as she did, it looked useless; what reason did he have to listen to her? Still... "Let go of me!"

not taking much of a notice that a shadow that had been playing with his hair, but only seconds later, something defiantly got his attention, Blood was filling the air, or it seemed to him that way, as a demon that was raise by spilling blood around him, his nose is very sensitive to the scent of blood, but this blood belonged to a human. Deilos immediately stood up and went out of classroom without any hesitation following the blood scent, and no sooner he found a shad that was feeding on one of the new students. "Shad... the teachers aren’t going to like it if they know about this" Deilos spoke to him as he attempt to tear both of them apart. "well you probably can't run from it either if they were to get this scent of blood" after removing Shad from the girl, Deilos tries to drag shad away, Deilos senses heightens as he tried to drag shad away forcefully, knowing that vampires that just drank human blood, are normally way stronger then they were before. Deilos turns to the shocked girl. "I recommend you to go to the nurses right now"
OOC Notes
Shad was savoring the sweet blood, completely ignoring the pleas of the human. It had been far too long since he last tasted human's blood, it was so much more delicious then monster's and the power that came with it was sending shivers down his spine. He felt himself being pulled away from the girl angry he tried to go back but who ever it was had managed to break him out of his frenzy. He snapped back into reality remember where he was and what he had just done. "Deilos?" Shad mutters realizing he was the one who had pulled him away. He breaks out of his drunken state and realizes that Deilos had ruined his meal. Frustrate Shad slams Deilos against the nearby wall his vampire strength slightly denting the concrete. Taking a deep breath and recollecting himself, "Thank you." he says to Deilos happy for once he didn't kill the human. "We have class to go to." He says walking in the direction that Deilos had come from.
OOC Notes
Ambers hand went up, holding the wound she now had in her neck. She watched them talking, the vampire slamming the other into a wall, before walking off. She didn't know what she was supposed to do about that; a vampire had just attacked her, was pulled away by someone else...though what she had heard about vampires strength made that hard to believe. So was this one not human, either? Or were they both human, and that one was impossibly weird, or something? She looked back at the person who had pulled him off. "I would head to the nurses...but I was lost already...and I'd probably only get myself even more lost..." She hated that she had to ask for help...but, at the same time, she didn't care much. She really needed the help now; she just had someone claiming to be a vampire drinking her blood. It didn't make sense to her, and she didn't like not knowing what was going on.

Hey Elrith... wanna play out the fight with ferus while we wait for Star or Adele? in one of the "sister" RPs would probably be best organization wise and anyone who's part of the fight can join in there (Aka Aiden, Amber, Jaimie, Shad, Desmond, Ferus, Arabella.)

You're always welcome back Meesha :3 Lin and Freezer were two of the best villians around here! It's also perfectly fine that you'll be joining as a different character, I approved her and since we're about to be traveling over a body of water it shouldn't be too hard to integrate her into the current story.
Unfortunately we're at a minor stand still until Violet or Star posts because they're currently running the show. If you want you can enter to stir things up or wait around a bit longer like the rest of us!

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could join up again but with a different character :) I could always bring L&F back in but for the foremost I just felt like playing a fresh character that no one knows...might give everyone a new thing to fool about with ^^ Love the fact this is still going...did think a while back about creating an rp where everyone goes underground to visit the bloodoak coven witches but decided against it :L Everyone would just...die.

That sort of rp sounds interesting...although I wouldn't really be very active...haven't had much time to get on the internet. Really only been getting on once or twice a day...except weekends...when I really can't get on at all...don't really know that another rp would be something I could keep up with right now :P
