Introduction

In a little town outside of Chicago, Illinois a grand school in a town called Zion sits amongst five acres of forest. This school, Chaucer's Academy for Gifted Teens, houses up to 3000 students at a time all ages fifteen to nineteen. All of these kids show remarkable talent whether it be in writing, music, art, or academics. In Chaucer's you are never alone, prodigies just like you surround the halls. All of them are thrown together not just to advance their abilities but also to make them more modest. No one likes a smart kids who brags and being around others, who have the same amount of intelligence that you do, possibly more concerning a specific subject, brings many students back down to Earth.
What goes on beneath the ground floor of Chaucer's though is an entirely different story. A brotherhood lies beneath the floorboards. This brotherhood being composed up of some of the World's best scientists. Their goal is simple. To combine the genetics of the prodigies hoisted above their heads in hopes to create a brighter future for America. A future where all children are brilliant, none of them lacking intelligence or the ability to play a certain sport. In the end it will also be a step towards creating America's own 'super soldiers'. If the scientists happen to do a few things to the kids on the side, such as give them precognition, or telekinesis well that's just another notch in the post they will have to kink out.
First they must choose their victims, well specimens, carefully. Someone who is the best at their particular skill and shows great room for improvement or breeding capabilities. Then they will begin gene splicing and merging. The problem with this is that other kids are down amongst the cellars of Chaucer's, these kids some of which have been merged with animal DNA know how much splicing and merging hurts. Kids who would do anything to be able to escape When you have to many special kids and not enough strong guards, things can go astray. Poke the beast one to many times, no matter how docile, and it'll rise up and bite.
