Description: Jax sports Maui surfer-type dreadlocks, usually held back from his face with large sweat bands. Mostly lithe, he does have some muscle but is much more the sneak-out-of-your-sight type if he can help it. He wears baggy clothing that is, on average, about 3 sizes too large for him. Usually consisting of a dark t-shirt and baggy jeans, along with sneakers that would make anyone envious, he's definitely ingrained with the City Street blood.

Personality

Usually, Jax is a bit playful and has a dark sarcastic tyoe of humor, often poking fun at his and others' horrible situations. Though he's not the strongest thing in the world (especially considering the Cyborgs and such out there), Jax is not afraid to fight if you make him too angry, no matter what the consequences to himself may be.

Impulsive and a bit childish in his decisions, Jax has a tendency to get himself into trouble. Luckily, though, he's a very smooth talker and is very good at being invisible or stealthy. This also comes in handy when stealing necessary data that will make a big buck on the bidding feild. If he does not empty a proper amount of data before loading more, he can suffer from intense migrained and a delusional state.

Also notable is Jax's addiction to drugs -pain pills and new-age drugs of the same like -, and his likeness to sell them for cash if he needs it fast. He's got a pretty well-known rep on the streets, and has been caught once or twice. He's on record, but once again, is invisible to those he wishes to be to.

Equipment

Jax has a wide range of technological devices that can help to hack into systems, but mostly it's just his brain. His eyes, however, have been modified. He has the ability to switch between infrared, night, and normal vision. Even normal vision, however, is superior to a normal person's. The boost port in the back of his neck allows him to connect to all databanks.
For protection he only carries a knife.

History

Jax's parents are a mystery to anyone and, as far as anyone knows, to him as well. It's uncommon for most Data Theives to delete memory of their own family, as family is of utmost importance to lots in the slums of 0 Ground. However this seems to be the only thing Jax has done to make room for the banks of information he steals. As far as he's concerned, the only thing anyone needs to know about him is what he does now; and believe you me, everyone knows him, alright.

Jax got into siphoning data when he was caught stealing food from an above-ground company at age 11. The man who caught him went on to say that he would have grown up to be a "wretched data theif" if someone hadn't just caught him. Jax, of course, escaped. This is the first thing in his memory of the past and is his main influence on his life today.

However, Jax was also caught once in his early data theiving career, around age 14. His bad temper left him in trouble with the Cyborgs and he was badly beaten. Thrown into barracks for about a day, it was a sure-fire thing he would be executed, as street folks were often cast as unfit for the justice system. To his - and everyone else's - surprise, he was let go by a reluctant group of ZEGRAM masters. They were very perturbed to let him go, and would not state why they were. He was only given a warning never to step foot on sky ground again. He;s obviously broken the rule since, and can't help but wonder how he became so lucky.

Life since then has been underground city clubs, selling data, and a blur of emptiness as drugs take effect.
