Knock. Knock. Knock. The woman tapped at the door. Standing at 5'8" the woman struck an impressive figure. Her face painted in an unsual and frightening design; her eyes and hair whiter than snow and clothed in a slightly feminized version of a Victorian male's outfit.
I was told I could find boarding here and I will be sorely dissapointed if I cannot. The tone of her thoughts promising pain to the one who gave her false directions, only if needed, of course... She was a patient being, one often is after living so long, but she is exhausted and in need of sleep. In fact, I think that I shall sleep so soundly to-night that the inn-keeper shall think I am dead. Her lips twitched at her poor attemt at humour though her mood lightened only slightly.
I hope that the inn-keeper arrives swiftly, I am also in need of sustenance. She grinned horribly at her next thought, Perhaps this person would not begrudge me fresh drink, or at least until I can locate some donors in the city. This thought however put a more thoughful look on the woman's face, It shouldn't bee too hard either way, as there are always mortals who enjoy the bite. Almost begging to be my meal the next time I hunger... Stupid mortals, knowing not of what they meddle with when they tamper with the supernatural. Though, perhaps if I bring up the fact of the esctasy the bite induces the poor, little, mortal inn-keeper will be curious enough to let me feed! Her thoughts straying back to the prospect of a nice, hot meal...
She was starting to become impatient now, thoughts of food dancing through her thoughts, taunting her. She growled. I will personally hunt down and dispose of that mongrel of an inuyoukai if his words have led me astray!

The twins walked the path too the Boarding house. They had heard of this place and were hoping they would find a place where they would be welcome to stay.
"Do you think there will be many other people there, Shadow?" asked Ebony in a sing-songy voice as she skipped alongside her sister. Chipper and Happy as always.
"I'm not sure. We don't even know if they will let us stay yet." answered shadow in her soft, calm voice. Trailing a skipping Ebony by a few feet.
"I think they will! Who wouldn't want two incredibly cute twins staying in their home?!" replied Ebony. The definition of Positive.
"Just.... right." said Shadow. Knowing from experience it was best to just let her sister be happy instead of correcting her.
As they reached the door they noticed another person there, waiting for the door to be answered. Ebony tried to proceed quickly. But Shadow grabbed her arm. Speaking to her sister through her mind now.
Be careful. We dont know these people. And I don't want you to be hurt.
Ebony rolled her eyes at her sisters cautiousness sometimes she could be such a downer.
"But whyyyyyy?" Ebony whined out loud. Loud enough for the stranger to hear. Shadow tightened her grip on her sisters arm.

The warm, liquid hazel eyes of Eunae Myeong were serious, a streak of compassion flashed through them. Before her sat a little girl, no older than ten years-old, long raven hair, bright blue eyes and very pale skin. She was a ghost, one Eunae had been speaking with for months now. She fell into a river on her way home from school and drowned, ending up at the mansion. She never stayed though, she just came by to talk to the dark-haired medium every now and then to keep her company. Eunae promised she was welcome to stop by and talk anytime she wanted until the little girl was ready to pass on to the afterlife. "I know for a fact they miss you, probably more than you could ever imagine. I also know they want you to be at peace, no matter where you are. Don't worry though, I won't be going anywhere. Whenever you want someone to talk to feel free to stop by, you know I'll be here." She smiled, a bright genial one, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. It was something she'd found herself able to do only a few weeks ago. Eunae realized that as she got older, she developed new abilities too.
"Thanks Miss Eunae." The girl giggled and left, fading into a barely visible, wispy form. The older female heard a sound from the library she was casually sitting in, it was a knock at the door. Excited she jumped up almost instantly to answer it. She opened the boarding house up just two days ago and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of new guest, she was most curious about what exactly they'd be, since it wasn't a home for regular humans. But those who possessed powers, them and what society deemed as the supernatural. Running to the door she crossed a small footbridge infront of the main door to the mansion, it was a Koi pond and one of her great-grandfathers favorite features about the place. It ran from outside to the inside, and if one paid close enough attention they would realize that it entered the house underneath little bridges in more than one place.
Opening the door she apologized, "I'm sorry I was taking care of something a second ago," she stopped to see just who was at the door. A woman taller than she, two other female twins, and behind them a ghost boy. "Hi I'm Eunae Myeong, please come on in!" She said enthusiastically, stepping aside for them all to enter. "You're the first guest that have arrived today! If you like I could take you on a tour of the house, or if you're tired feel free to pick a bedroom. There are fifteen throughout the house, the one with the red door is mine though." She blurted it all out in almost one breath, just happy to have people show up. "I'd like to talk to you all individually at some point today so we can get aqquainted with eachother." She motioned for them to come in, flashing another brilliant smile.

Jasper came up the walk, his pack over his arm. He looked up at the house and sighed. Running away from the memories of his family had been hard, but to run all the way to japan.... have had to be some new record. He shook his head again adn came to stand on the steps, then knocked.

Ebony jumped up to Hug the stranger who had opened the door, a regular greeting for her, squishing the girl tightly while talking in her bubbly voice, "HI! I'm Ebony and this is my sister Shadow! We wanna come live with you!"
Shadow stood behind shaking her head. "I appologize for my sister, she is a very... happy.. person." She said, smiling gently at the person as her sister finished her hug. "It would be greatly appreciated if you would welcome us to stay here."

Luna stared at the people at the door of the mansion. "Must be the place." She whispered to herself and walked up to the people. Though something famliar seemed nearby...like a dead person.

Eunae hugged the girl back quickly, holding the door open with her back. "Why hello," she giggled and smiled at the obviously friendly girl, looking at who she guessed was her sister. "It's no problem at all, you can stay as long as you want." She looked past the two twins and noticed two others had arrived. 'They certainly are showing up fast.' She thought happily, flashing another one of those bright smiles. "Come on in guys, once everyone's settled we can all sit down and introduce ourselves!"

Morrigan grinned a horrible grin, menacing teeth and fangs glinting in the light from the house-inn. "Why hello," She ducked her head in a slight gesture of respect. "Mightn't you have any... refreshments to offer?" She paused and took a sweeping glance of the human's exposed neck. "I am quite... famished, we shall say." Her meaning clear enough.
She elegantly sauntered through the doorway, glad that the human was smart enough to know that most supernatural creatures needed to be invited in. "Human, you are the inn-keeper? If so I would like to know if you will be supplying sustinance or if we will need to fin our own - elsewhere." Her gaze piercing and headed directly at the human. Most would cower or at least show a kind of fear, fight or flight instinct kicking in at the preasence of a true predator.

Both the twins smiled and Entered the house, arms linked. Trading comments about the Inn back and forth. It seemed like a nice place. And they were excited about what was coming. They turned to the keeper.
"I'm sorry to be so rude, but if you don't mind we are going to go search out the outdoors of the property. Animal Instinct and all!" They said in unison. Then rushed out the door, shifting to their other halves as soon as they were out.
(( actually, I just wont be able to post here for a little bit so I can just say the Twins are out exploring! :3 ))

John sighed as he stared up at the mansion, and wondered why he was here. His eyes, though covered in black silk, still allowed him to see. He watched as two creatures ran off to do whatever little creatures did, and began to wonder if he made a mistake in coming here. He began to turn away from the mansion, when an etheral hand laid itself upon his shoulder, and a disembodied voice whispered saying, "You are here to find she that will end your pain." John sighed once more and, shifting his pack more comfortably upon his shoulder, he walked towards the home.
He stopped suddenly, and tasted the air in front of him. 'Sin,' John thought suddenly, summoning his companion to his side. "I feel it, John," He felt his demon smile, and heard it chuckle softly, "It is why I have led you to this place. Do not let this place end up as it did in Paris." John clutched his right arm instictively and shivered. 'It wont happen again,' he thought at the demon, 'I wont let them see me, this do I promise you.' He felt Sin ruffle his hair and push him gently towards the mansion. "Go," he said softly, "She is waiting for you, John, even if she does not yet realize it herself." Nodding, John looked back up at the mansion, sighed once more, and walked towards the woman standing in the doorway.

Malphas saw a younger girl, a pretty at that, opened the door and smiled. Maybe she can understand me. He flicked his shaggy black-brown hair out of his pale blue eyes as he floated up to her. Can you hear me? He gulped and sighed, maybe she can't.

John stood and gaped at the young girl, thinking her as a woman instead. Quickly composing himself, he spoke saying, "I am John Alexanders, I wish to take up residence here in your mansion. I will pay whatever rate you have set up without question, all I ask is that I be set up in a room near your kitchen. I am quite skilled in Western Cuisine, and would be much appreciated if I may work in your kitchen."

"I guess..." Luna said to the girl who opened the door. Most of the time she could identify most supernatural creatures...but someother guy had come up and she had a hard time telling if this guy was human or not. Then she heard a voice this time along with the feel of a dead person. She blinked again and this time she saw a boy. "Excuse me...who are you?" She said reaching out to touch the boy's shoulder.

Eunae's hazel eyes were drawn to the other female's fangs, but she quickly looked back up at her eyes, which were daunting and sent a chill up her spine. If she hadn't gotten used to seeing things out of the ordinary she was sure she probably would have been terrified. 'She must be a vampire. I've never meant one before.' She was a little nervous but at the same time excited, Eunae never got the chance to meet one in person like this before. Running a hand through her hair she laughed a little, "I'm sorry I didn't really take into account that not everyone eats the same thing. I could arrange something, I think, if you give me some time." Eunae knew what vampires needed for nutrition but to be honest, the sight of blood creeped her out, and involuntarily she shivered. "I'm terribly sorry about this."
Eunae noticed there was another boy there, a ghost, she smiled inwardly. With being a medium and everything she loved talking to ghost and learning about their life stories, that sometimes had tragic endings. She liked trying to figure out ways to help them find peace and move on to the afterlife. It posed a challenge, but she was always somewhat sad when they moved on, she tended to get attached to them fast. Before getting lost in her thoughts Eunae looked up to see another male had shown up. "Eunae Myeong," she introduced back, smiling at him, "It's nice to meet you John. And don't worry about the rent for now, we can discuss that later. I'd be so happy if you did, I can't say my cooking is all that great so it would probably be a nice change. There's two rooms by the kitchen, well one of them's mine actually. The one with the red door, but you're free to have the other one." She suggested, stepping aside to let everyone in.

"I thank you for allowing me to take up residence here, Eunae Myeong," John said, bowing slightly. He entered the mansion, took a deep breath, and began to cough violently. He felt strong etheral arms wrap around his shoulders tightly, holding him steady. "Are you alright, John," Sin asked concerned. John smiled softly, one of his rare smiles that always brought a tear of joy to Sin's etheral eyes, and thought, 'I am well Sin, thank you.' He stood up straight and looked about him, searching for the cause of his cough. Finding nothing, he gently began to remove a piece of his silk bandage that covered his left eye. A soft green light began to pour out from under his bandage, but he quickly replaced it when he saw the vampiress standing off to the side. John let out a low growl, and, turning his back on the others, went to find the kitchen to prepare a meal for everyone.

Hmn. Didn't "take into account that not everyone eats the same thing". Pathetic human couldn't possibly think that we all ate the same thing! Imagine, me ingesting the same thing one of these people had touched, the disgrace! Interesting how this will play out though, a human with no knowledge of the supernatural world running an inn for those very creatures... interesting indeed.
Morrigan suddenly cocked her head to the side, as if hearing something far off and faint. "That reminds me, dear inn-keeper," Her horrible grin back in place, "Inn-keeper, is there a room with a large window and perhaps a nice, hot lamp? My dear friend Alucard will need it for sure." She brought her hand up to her waist and unlatched a somewhat large, but mostly unnoticeable, puch. A large, black corbra confidentally slithered out; coiling itself around his master's arm.
"Would you perhaps like to make the aquaintance of my long-time friend?" Her terrible smile deepened at the looks around her.
The boy's, John apparently, somewhat odd behavior was duly notted and promptly pushed to the back of her mind. Waiting for a more opportune time to analyze her new "neighbors", namely once she and Alucard were settled in; both with a full stomach preferably...

"Another one, Sin," John said aloud, "Another vampire, and its one of HIS." He had finished carving up a ham, and had begun to prep some vegetables to go with it. 'I wonder if theres any red wine,' he thought to himself, 'the flavor would go well with the ham. Perhaps a white wine would be better.' Looking in the cupboards, he couldn't find any, and cursed aloud. "Language," Sin said sternly, and John blushed. "You do know that you would work faster and more efficiently if you just removed the bandages from your right arm, right?"
John glared at the corner where Sin stood, "You DO know that I still have claws under these bandages, right? AND that they're from you?" Sin chuckled to himself and raised his etheral claws in defeat. "Your vegetables are burning," he said, pointing to the stove. Cursing violently, John turned his attention back to the food, and soon started to hum quietly to himself. "Do you think they'll enjoy this meal?" He asked Sin. Sin merely raised an eyebrow and shrugged, "I wouldn't know, I've never had human food before." He thought to himself for a moment before adding, "Don't forget the blood for the vampiress." Waving at Sin, acknowleding that he heard him, John reached into his bag and pulled out one of his many blue-black orbs. "Your going to waste one of those for a vampire?" Sin asked, raising an eyebrow. "First impression," was the only response he got from John.
Taking the orb in his hand, John gripped it tightly, and prepared himself for what was to come next. He opened his mouth, revealing sharp, silvered teeth, and bit into the orb. There was a small POP, and bitter black ichor gushed forth from the opening. Not wanting to waste the ichor, John gulped every last drop, and shivered as he did so. He then began to devour the orb itself, tearing into it piece by piece. Unfortunately, each piece was more sour than the last, and when he had finished in devouring the last piece, his mouth was so puckered, it was practically non existant.
"What is thy desire, O my Master?" Sin asked quietly. John stared into Sin's etheral eyes and stated, "A bowl of blood fit for a Vampire Queen." Sin stared back into his eyes and exclaimed, "As thou wisheth, so shall it be." And with a snap of his fingers, a bright green light flooded the room, and when it receded, there, on the counter, was a golden bowl filled with blood. "Virgin's blood to be precise," Sin stated as he caught John by the shoulders, easing him to the ground. "That was foolish of you, John. You could have just drained your own blood into a glass and served it to the vampiress." John smiled up at his companion and said, "And having her taste my power? I think not."
Sin chuckled softly, and helped John stand up. Keeping a steady hand on John's shoulder, Sin leant some of his own strength to him. "Are you ready to serve the people?" He asked with a laugh. John smiled up at him and nodded. He carefully took out plates from the cupboard, and silverware from a small cabinet. 'Strange to keep silverware in a cabinet,' he thought to himself. Shrugging, he took the plates and silverware, and set them on a lone table outside of the kitchen. He then brought out the carved ham and steaming vegetables, and placed them in the center of the table. Lastly, he took the golden bowl, full of virgin's blood, and placed it at a far end of the table, away from his place. He then sat down, and waited for everyone to arrive.

Siff. Sniff. "That smell, oh that glorious smell!" Morrigan stopped what she was doing, making the bed to her new room, and siffed the air with a deliriously euphoric look on her face.
"Alucard, someone has gone though the touble of getting aged virgin's blood for me! O a glorious feast I shall have to-night! Why, I won't need to feed for a month for the handsome quality of this blood given!" At these words to her snake she sped down to the dining room, locating it with her nose, and arrived as fast as elegantly possible (which is quite fast indeed for a vampire of such years).
Once she had made it to the room she slowed down to a human walk so as to not be rude to the one who had aquired such magnificent blood. She glanced about the room in what would have been a nonchlant way if not for her predatory gaze lingering a few seconds too long on the gold bowl fulled to the brim with that delightful ambrosia, challanging the nector of the very gods. What was this creature's name again... John?
"Hello, I do not believe we have been properly introduced yet. My name is Morrigan Blackwood, vampiress extrodinare - at your service dear cook! I dearly hope we shall be friends... " She gave a sweepingly reagal bow to the other in the room and waited for his response.
I suppose I sould be nice, after all he has gone through the trouble of finding a 35-year-old virgin male (the only one in this world, I am sure) and somehow procuring his blood...

John stood up as he spied the vampiress, and bowed low to her. "I give thee greetings, noble lady. I am Johnathan Alexanders, but all call me John. Please, be seated, and sate thyself upon the blood of virgins fair." He held out his hand to the blood before her. "I suggest you drink it now, before it cools and congeals to the point of you having to eat it." He chuckled softly at his own joke.
OOC Notes
"Yes," Morrigan easily relaxed in this creature's, John's, presence. " 'Tis a shame to let a delicacy such as this to waste but, unfortunately, this is our lot. Our sustainance turns useless if it is left too long in the open and only particularily beneficial, as opposed to neccissary, if it is fresh from a hunte." She also laughed low and under her breath at this friendly jab at her drink.
"I thank thee dearly and most assuredly truely for such troubles gone through for mine dinner. Gratias ago vos." A royal curtsey this time. Morrigan sauntered over to her place and drank as slowly and dignified as unhumanly possible. The smell, texture and taste tantalizing her senses, she ate in a state of bliss and euphoria, not consiously comprehending or paying heed to what was happening around her.

"She knows your not comfortable around her, John," Sin stated matter of factly, "You said you wanted a good first impression, you might as well tell her." John sighed and nodded. Getting up, he slowly removed his heavy dark trench coat, revealing lean muscles wrapped in bandages. "Forgive my nervousness, Morrigan, but I have had many run ins with your kind." He slowly began to remove his bandages, and got frustrated when he couldn't remove a stubborn not. John shrugged slightly, and tore the rest of the bandages off.
As the last of the bandages fell to the floor, he pointed at the many scars across his chest. "I had the honor of meeting one who claimed the right, rank, and title of King of the Vampires," he stated sadly, "He is quite angry with me for what I did to him, and has not forgiven me." He sat down, becoming suddenly quiet, and soon, tears began to soak the silk bandage that covered his eyes.

"O, you poor child, what could you have possibly done? " She murmmered slightly lost in her thoughts, she was getting too attached much too easily. This isn't good. Morrigan looked over at John and smelled a slightly salty stench on the air. This wasn't the time for this internal debate, later...
Morrigan got up out of her chair and walked over to John, "Deary, I want you to know that I have never taken part of his court. He is an overly pompous vampire who is drunk with power over the others. Neither I nor my sire have had, or will have, any dealings with that discrace of a vampire. Humph, claiming to be king! We rule ourselves, if anything the Council is what enforces common law and such..." Her voice became lower and slightly more soothing the more she talked and went on about irrelevant topics, getting further and further from the original conversation as time went on.
"...And that's how DaVinci got his inspiration!" She looked back to John's face and realized that she had been comforting him, not even simply with words but also a hand on his shoulder.
I've got to go, I haven't been here a day and already there is a child who I have adopted affections for... I must leave before I cannot. I must be emotionless and alone... that's what he told me after all.
