In the year 3596, a war started that lasted for several centuries. In this war, mutants were created to rip through countries, like big beasts with extreme abnormalities. As a counter-attack to the invasions, people with severe, and fatal illnesses were changed, to be given longer, and healthier lives in exchange for a simple operation.
These patients were unaware that their lives would change so dramatically from there on in. People had genetic mutations added to them, and it was called "The Angel Experiment"; these people were now to defend their countries against the mutants. Some were given x-ray vision, or even night vision, whilst others had enlarged wings attached to their backs. Fully functional, the honourable ones decided they would defend their countries. But a few rebelled, and began to kill humans without consequence. They were caught and sent to an unknown destination for rehabilitation.
When the war finished, the mutated humans were put together in groups, all over the world, to destroy the rogue mutants, who were still alive. Then they realised the problem had grown; the mutants were reproducing, and there were more then than in the war. The board of T.E.A decided to continue making mutants secretly, away from government control, and so far it was been working.
The groups are more like families than work groups, and consist of a leader, a couple of "techies" (computer workers), and the hunters. Each worker has a codename depending on their affiliation.
