The year was 2192 our story takes place on a colony for testing defenses against planetary hazards. The colony was named Red Project. The colony was home to over nine thousand souls, one hundred and twenty marines were stationed here a hundred and nine confirmed dead the others scattered and fighting for survival. Due to strict laws civilians were not allowed to own firearms which lead to the quick deaths of more then three fourths of the colonists before the military began handing out surplus weapons. The Colony is now in turmoil the creature that lead the attack entered the great temple which had lured the colonists to station their home where it was. Within the walls of the temple where marine commander Siegfried fought and killed the alien menace though he never left the temple he and the rest of the 089th marines are MIA or confirmed dead. With the disappearance of their savior despair sunk in, they had survived the worst of the storm, but now they had to survive the remainder of it with little to nothing to defend themselves.


World information.
Red Project is a harsh world with an unstable atmosphere. Its weather is unpredictable and deadly flash floods are common, the wind is capable of picking speeds fast enough to rip a man in twain, and the almost perpetual black sky does not help when its filled with crimson bolts of plasma. The colony itself is built around a large towering temple of alien design it is by far the most evil place on red project. It has an alluring effect and can be seen anywhere on its half of the planet. The colony is in ruin few buildings remain fully intact and supplies dwindle. Bullets are almost as valuable as gold. The military compound within the colony's walls was looted and stripped clean of armaments, only the military outposts and distant laboratory might have stockpiles of munitions.

Outside the walls is a decrepit badland only a few mangled trees grow upon this mass expanse of rock hard ground. Countless cracks and canyons cover this deadly ground. It is void of water except during the flash floods in which this already deadly place turns into a almost cement like mud filled wasteland. Several scattered outposts and a large laboratory at the edge of the forest is all that is out in this barren land.

Past the badlands is a massive jungle which spans the whole second half of the planet, here rivers and fresh water flow freely, the weather is much more mild here but the woods are filled with twisted monsters that would make the undead look easy. Entering the forest is dangerous but it has the best access to water and food.


Character information.

There are four positions one could have held.
Civilians the most common people who provided basic services and a city environment for soldiers and scientists. Their occupations could be anything that would be normal found in any city. Red Project does not have any form of police force besides the marines that once guarded it. Weapons would be simple as non military personal were banned from being issued weapons.

Marines are rare the first and last line of defense many of them died during the onslaught. Lightly armored and armed with assault rifles the marines held back the horde for days even after the colony’s gates were breached. At most three. All Commanding officers are KIA or MIA.

Psions these men wield their mind as a weapon and were a large reason why so many people survived the attack. Their powers can be focused into to types.
Casters perform great feats of outward projection including telekinesis and crushing foes and creating telekinetic barriers.
Warriors perform great feats of inward projection including the ability to stop wounds from bleeding and coating their bodies in powerful psionic armor or their weapons with extra powered psionic bullets.
The Psions were few in numbers, only one or two survived the onslaught.

Scientists were in charge of researching weapons and civil technology, very few survived as the laboratory was the first target of the undead invasion. They are powerful thinkers and have access to secure military installations They can be either class A(Complete access) B (Secure access) or C(Minor access) at most their should be only one A.

Power plays and its like are also not welcomed.

This is a mature setting but keep it as clean as possible.
