Introduction
Staring out of a window on the top floor of a sixty story building, a man in a black suit sits in the darkness, smoking a cigar and resting his arm on the armchair in which he is sat. Outside, it is dark and raining, the bright yellow lighting from below shines up and cascades through the river of rain water pouring down the glass sheet. The man’s face is solemn and focused a look of pure knowledge on his sculpted into his statuesque appearance. A loud knock comes from behind him, as across the floor on the other side of the dark filled room, a door stands shut.
“Enter.” The door opens, and a small man wearing what would appear to be goggles, and a long white coat, carrying a clipboard and looking concerned. “Sir, I have serious news from our observatory.”
“Speak.”
“Yes Sir... We just discovered a new planet. It has been named ‘Caerus’ and I’ve been asked to-”
“Send a squad up.”
“B-But sir, there’s something wrong wit-“
“Do you know why this company is named Thrasos?”
“W-What? No sir... I don’t”
“Thrasos: he was the Greek spirit of boldness... Bravery...”
“Sir... I-“
“Do you think we earned that title by refusing risk? Well we didn’t... Send up a squad, that’s an order...”
“...Yes Sir.”
Story

Thrasos soon became the number one company in the business, and recieved many contracts from governments, science companies, and even rich individuals wanting something they found explored. This new advancement in travel and exploration was meant to be the beggining of a new era of technology.
However, 'Caerus' was discovered, a lone planet in a very deep region of space. And so, elite squadraunt '24-6', fabled to be the best of the best having topped all the records for team training, were sent to the planet to see what they could find. Little did anyone know, the squad would find more than they had expected, and would wish they never had...

Deep Space - Twelve hours distance from Earth - TCS Mercury Briefing Room
It has been twelve hours since the crew ship 'TCS Mercury' launched from planet Earth, and has since been heading in the direction of a new and mysterious planet. The common thought is that this is just another planet, as this type of discovery has become mediocre. However, to the crew of this ship, it is evident that the situation is not as simple as that, because they were the ones sent. In the briefing room of the ship, the entire team is sat, each one in their own mindset and trail of thought. The room is well lit, yet the darkness that exists just outside the strengthened glass of the shuttle windows is strangely alluring. A sense of professionalism and experience lingers in the air, each member of the crew clearly a master in their profession. A stretched table rests central to the crew, each member having enough space in front of them to keep an item close at hand. In the middle of the table is a large metallic disk with bright blue and red lights on each side. On the furthest end of the table sits the captain, and just beside him, the co captain. Slowly, the captain stands and looks over the crew.
"Right..." almost instantly, all attention seemed to be on Lucas as he began to talk. Silence fell over the group as he prepared himself to brief them. "Although I know you were all briefed back on Earth... I feel the need to go over some of the topics once more, to make sure we're all clear on them." Lucas looked over the group, examining each person individually, then returned to his speech. "It is of the utmost importance that you heed the notes I'm about to give... and treat them as life or death situations." Pausing for a moment, he soon continued, "We all know that our team is the best of the best, and I know that each one of you is a master of your craft. It is for this reason, that we can expect more than what we've been told." Lucas took note of the facial expressions of his crew mates, before speaking again. "Hologram on." Suddenly, the metallic disk in the center of the table emitted a bright blue light, and the image of a large, strange looking planet appeared mid air. "This... is Caerus. We've been told that this is just another routine, however, as I said, if it was that routine we wouldn't be going up. The planet is about the same size as Jupiter was, the only difference is that this one is solid rock. The gravity will be just over that of Earth's, so we will most likely become fatigued quicker. Next image." The holographic image of the planet then shifted into the image of a man. "This is Christophe Valis, a prisoner that is yet to be sentenced. Due to the amount of over imprisonment in our sector, we have been ordered to keep him with us under lockdown, until he is sentenced. You must all know, this man is not to be trusted for any reason and must be under twenty four hour surveillance, he is extremely dangerous and won't hesitate to kill you. Hologram off."
The holographic image disappeared slowly, and attention returned to Lucas. "I have the utmost faith in all of you, and as your captain, I expect only the same from you." Lucas turned his attention to the nearest window, staring out into the darkness of space for a few moments. As he turned his head back towards the crew, he once again looked them over, hoping to see acknowledgement and understanding on their faces. "Ok, thank you all for listening. Now, return to your posts, in one hour we will be shifting to a cosmic jump. York, keep your eyes on the prisoner, if he tries anything, you have my personal permission to take whatever means necessary to ensure the safety of the crew. Fegan, prepare a meal for the crew and the prisoner, make sure he is slightly sedated, I don't want him thinking too much. Patton, enter the co-ordinates into the ships navigation system and prepare for the jump. As for the rest of you, prepare for the jump also, we only have one more sleep before we arrive at Caerus." Lucas gave the crew one last look before nodding his head, "You're all dismissed, captain Geoffrey, please come with me to the bridge, we have more to discuss." With that, Lucas left the room and waited for Charles to follow.

The Captain stood, this instantly caught Mike's attention. The Captain adressed the fact that they were being deployed on a mission that didn't match their skill set at all; further more they still had a convict on board. A dangerous one at that. Mike would've much rather launched the man out of an airlock. Mike was no stranger to death, for had killed many in his line of work, but to kill for no aparant reason. Whenever Mike took a life it was similar to a game of chess. Every move, every bullet, every eliminated target brought him closer to completing his objective. The Convict had no goals other than the next kill. There was no pattern, and no reasoning. Mike would inspect the door every hour when on duty, and he would have a constant camera feed on the cell and the camera's outside of the cell. If he endangered any of the crew Mike would meet this act with lethal force. Mike too was a killer, he was good at it too. He was also very good at protecting people, and he would do just that.
They were soon informed that the gravity would be even more present than Earth's. He rubbed his chin, this might prove problematic. This would affect bullet drop in a slight yet drastic way. Not to mention he would feel leadened. That would be problem he would have to solve later. For now it would be monitering the cell from a close position. Mike nodded his head as the Captian formally gave him the order keeping the prisoner from causing trouble. The cell was flawlessly crafted. If it was breached Mike could seal off the bordering hallways if he had to. When they were dismissed Mike got up, and exited the room. His hand reached down to the PDA like device he had. He casually checked the cell. Everything seemed to be in order. From there, he knew shut eye would be a required task soon. He would pass the duty off to sleep for a few hours a little while after the jump. His mind drifted away from the mission, once again he could feel surpressed memories clawing at the back of his mind. Mike rarely ever seemed happy, he never did drink intoxicating beverages, it was a crutch his father had used to numb the pain. Mike needed no such crutch. He could bear the haunting memories of war. It was something Mike had come to terms with after his first deployment. Complaining, crying, or talking about it wouldn't change his disposition. He would simply need to deal with it, and suck it up.
He calmly padded down the halls, and continued to patrol the halls. This was his usual routine. Sometimes he would strike up conversation with the crew as he walked, but they were generally well behaved, Mike never had to worry about the crew getting into a fight. It was outside factors he had to worry about.

"Mike York." She leaning against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest.
When he turned she could see how much he had changed. He looked rougher. More battered. She hadn't seen him in years. It was a pleasant surprise. Though he might not even know who she was. She had changed so much in the pats few years. She waiting hoping he would remember who she was.

Robert watched the rest of the table as the Captain left towards the bridge, Robert had been ringing his pocket watch through his hands during the whole briefing. He could understand why they where being sent and the reason for why the planet was such an important objective. But for the life of him he couldn't understand the reason for the prisoner, Other the for atmospheric testing fodder he was going to be unable to pull his weight among the rest of the crew. Robert began thumbing his watch around in a circular motion as it spun he thought back to better places he could be in this moment. But still he did love the majesty of space the and the literal thousands of lights shining outside the hull.
He turned his seat around and stood to follow Mike out to the corridor, Then he could make his way to the bridge. Robert watched for a moment as Mike made his way to do his rounds as he began to vanish around the bend of the causeway. He was tapping around PDA as Robert lost sight of him, As long as he was in charge of security everything should turn out fine. Seeing as he was far more duty conscious then any of the other security officers then he had ever worked with before. The thought of the past began to wear on Robert as he continued to stare down the corridor and a strange sense of euphoria began to wash over him.
He easily shook the moment from his body as he stepped across the hall into the bridge, Which aside from his room was one of his more favorite spaces on the ship. The atmosphere of the deck itself was slightly darker and more intense except for the space surrounding the Captains chair. The operation boards surrounding the room made a tirade of all different audible sounds, Almost as if you where standing in the middle of a casinos slot machine section.
Robert could see the Captain standing there waiting patiently as he stood looking out into space from the main screen. It was strange to notice that this was one of the few projected outside views on the ship. Seeing as most of the other means to see outside where reinforced port windows, But when he though about how much protection the bridged needed in a fight it made more sense. To make things easier, Armor panels would slide over all the ships windows just in case of such an event.
Finally making it to his station Robert was able to sit and slide his seat forward to his instruments, The panel was light up with several indicators as to there whereabouts and so on and the computer had tagged several messages for him. He began pounding away at his keys and shifting through screens of reports for anomalies, solar flares, and the such. As he made the necessary adjustments to the fixed course a reduced image of his screen appeared on the main to inform the Captain of the changes. However to most other members of the crew they would see just swivels and curves going nowhere but Robert and Captain Lucas the shapes and voids where important notes.
Finally he came to the last cluster of notes and one did catch his attention, It seemed that a prob orbiting another section far from there mission point was sending back its last batch. He scrolled threw the report noting anything that was importance and saw what the prob meant by last batch, It seemed the sun it was orbiting was no longer going to be active and was starting to contract and sink. Robert put the image on the main screen.. "Captain, This is Izuka'2. The company notes that its in the final stages of going super nova... Won't that be a hell of a sight?"

He quickly worked and made a message to the head of security "I ask for permission to add to the monitoring of the prisoner and if possible get the change to form a mental report to add to his current file and because I don't have anything else useful to do." The guy would get it and he wished a quick response having heard of Christophe Valis and psychopathy was interesting.

Edgar's smile dropped when the Captain told them they were dismissed and ordered them to return to their posts. As others moved to leave the room, Edgar just remain seated in his chair and turned his gaze to the window. He had a curious look on his face as he tried to think about what exactly was "his post" on the ship. Did he actually have a placed he needed to be, or was he just simply the errand boy for the rest of the crew? Was he just here so that when something needed to be done and no one else wanted to do it, they would could call on the rookie to do the dirty work? Regardless, he just relaxed more into his chair and crossed his legs as he gazed out the window. If they needed him, they would get hold of him in some way or another; the manner in which they would do it was up in the air, but whatever method they would choose didn't really bother Edgar.
He was happy enough to be off Earth though and to be engaging in a whole new (well, new for him) experience in space travel and whatever it entailed. Things on Earth had become to routine for him, not even combat could invigorate him. It was all just the same thing for him, regardless of how drastic one engagement was from another it never really felt any different to him. When he heard of Thrasos and found out their work involved traveling to the unknown he quickly dropped in a request to join the company. A few weeks of waiting for the confirmation of his request and after a whole year of training he was finally on board the TCS Mercury with what apparently was the cream-of-the-crop this company could dish out in personnel. He chuckled to himself as he thought about how much he must seem like a moron for having no idea what his job really entailed and not knowing where he was suppose to go or what he was suppose to do. That's why I joined though, he thought.
"Least it's something new, right Ed?" He quietly said to himself as he watched the stars through the window.

Mike made a second trip past the crew quarters area when he suddenly stopped. A voice spoke his name, a very familiar one at that. He turned around to see. It was like a punch in the face. Elenna stood there with that same old smile. She reminded him of her brother. He never really called her brother by his first name. It would be weird calling Elenna by her last name. He decided not to be formal, after all it wasn't everyday you got to talk with a family friend. He returned the smile, he checked the camera feed for a few moments, than looked back up at Elenna.
"Elenna." Mike shook his head and chuckled. He should've guessed. He felt bad for not keeping in touch, he usually sent her a message or two, sometimes checking in everynow and then. Though ever since his father died, it left Mike wondering what he should do with his life. He felt lost in a way, working at a deadend job until the company found him. They probably got their hands on his files, the more redacted text the better. He was glad that Elenna could still tell who he was. He had lost that spark in his eye, years of killing had done that to him. Hi father's suicide had ripped the last remnants of happiness from his eyes. All he had left was a cold gaze. Elenna was the last person that reminded him of a time when life hadn't been quite as cruel. Where everything was ok.
"Seems like it was only yesterday that you were putting bandaids on my scabs." Mike chuckled.
"Probably could've used a few of those bandaids in the 'field.'" Mike spoke, his eyes once again having a warm welcoming light to them. After a few moments it was gone, and his expression of his emotions were gone.
"It's good to see you again." Mike spoke in his rough voice.

"Yeah, you always bleed so easily. Where have you been? No call? No letter? I was worried you ended up doing something stupid. You and James always seemed to get yourself into trouble." She said with a faint smile when she spoke her brothers name.
She remembered years ago when they were back on Mike's families farm. It seemed like a life time ago now. Now she was in deep space, away from all the sun and fields. She shook her head now walked towards him with a calm smile.
"So, what has you up in the middle of the sky?" She said coming up to stand next to him. She looked down the hall to make sure she wasn't blocking anyone way.
Elenna knew her job was more on the field. She knew that the gravitational pull was a little more so she would have to watch everyone as they moved around the new planet. making sure they didn't hyperventilate. The air was going to be, to the crew, like they were at a great altitude so she would watch for dehydration or any signs of dizziness as well but now, it was just a nice ride up.

The Engineer made his way down the hallway that led to the engine room and began to hear the steady thrum of the TCS Mercury's engines. The doors parted, and the dry warmth of the engines struck him like a light wind. Alex sat down in his rolling work chair, letting the thrum of the engines put him in a sort of trance, and helping the uneasy feeling he felt at this mission drain away.
After a few moments, he sat up and rolled to his work bench to grab his tools, then rolled over to the ships battery to begin diagnosing the ships systems, and making sure everything was running smoothly on their trip.

Sighing lightly under his breath, Christophe gave one last heavy kick to the chain on the leg of his bed. It snapped and the chain fell to the floor with a loud clunk. Thankfully they hadn’t had the sense to chain the man when inside the cell. Christophe bent down and picked up the chain in his hands. He stood up and wandered over to stand directly below that annoying light. He threw the heavy chain up, smashing through the light. A few protestant sparks and flashes, then the light was off, plunging the entire cell into darkness. Next was the camera. Picking his way through the darkness, Christophe reached out touching the wall. He felt his way around until he was at the corner. Tilting his head up and narrowing his eyes, he could just about see the shape of the camera. With the chain in hand, he threw it up. It wrapped around the camera and with a few harsh tugs, it was pulled to the floor, smashing upon impact. Finally he could rest without the annoying light flickering and people watching him.
Once again Christophe found his way through the darkness, stuffing the chain under his mattress and throwing himself onto it. He lye there staring up at the ceiling with both arms over his chest, blinking through the darkness until his eyes could finally adjust. Soon someone would be here to see what was going on, at least then he would have someone to talk to. Christophe pulled a cigarette from his pocket and shoved it in his mouth. Luckily they hadn't taken away his cigarettes when they brought him here, however they did take away his lighter. So the man was left suffering without a smoke for a few days now. That didn't mean he wouldn't chew on the cigarette and eat the tobacco that way. It was horrible, but it stopped the man from going into a metal break-down without nicotine.

The kitchen itself wasn't huge, just big enough for her to work in. Emeline had had a brief look around when she'd first located the room but this was her chance to really become friendly with it, to work out where everything was and maybe move some things around for convenience. Looking through the cupboards she could see that the kitchen was well supplied with any equipment she would need, all top quality too. Next to the stove there was a fully stocked spice rack all ready for use. As she poked through the drawers, admiring the cutlery she finally realised that there was actually no food in the room. In the same moment she had realised this she spotted the huge steel door at the far end of the room, it had to be the store room. Emeline immediately went over to investigate and to her surprise she found the door had no security at all and opened easily.Emeline sighed as she looked at the piles and piles of packaging. Not a fresh ingedient in sight, it was almost all instant. This cooking wasn't going to let out her creative side oh no, she was just going to be a good servant to them all. Expected to just prepare heaps of this instant crap to everyone onboard, there were ten people on the ship and she'd have to feed every damned one of them. She was also expected to serve food to the dangerous convict. Expected to serve food to a man who would gladly tear her apart and laugh at her lifeless form. Brilliant. Emeline began to busy herself rummaging through the packages, finding the crew something to eat.

"James was usually the one dragging my ass out of the trouble." Mike commented with a smile, memories dancing in his mind. James had always been levelheaded, any detail Mike overlooked would be caught by James. Mike had a bad habit of attracting trouble. James seemed to even out his badluck. He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Sorry I haven't been keeping in touch, I disappeared in the government's little black bag for a while, and well.... you heard about dad. I jus-" Mike looked down at his PDA. The convict had killed the lights in his room. Mike triggered the back-up lighting. It consisted of dim strips of lighting protected by dense materials in the ceiling. Mike cursed when he realized the jailors had put a chain in the room. Rule number one was to give the prisoner nothing to use. Mike had little influence on the room, so he made a few adjustments. The camera was easily destroyed, so Mike simply installed a few back-up protocols. Though getting that chain would be a mild problem. Mike had a solution of course. One would require him talking with either Elenna or the doc. The easiest solution would be to put a bullet in the convict's knee, but he didn't want that killer anywhere near Elenna. Mike sighed and looked back up at Elenna.
"Thrasos offered me a job, so I took it." Mike said without looking up from the emergency cameras. He looked up silently and spoke again.
"Plus I'm getting much better sleep than I was at home." Mike lied.
"Well I have to go see what all of this commotion is about. Your welcome to join me if you wish?" Mike said with a furrowed brow, as he inspected the prisoner through the emergency cameras. Another rule of war if to make the enemy think they were making the right decisions. Even if that means planting a camera you know they can tear down.

Robert was doing his best to keep the computer from automatically correcting what he was doing, The reactions from the system where not new to him. It was just doing what the original programming preferred, Fighting and prompting every step of the way. Besides this operating system was very power and sophisticated, So sophisticated in fact that he could joke it would write its own name on command.. In multiple languages if needed.
Everything goes fine despite what transpires between him and the system.
He writes what code needs to be set and dictates what the system will adjust too or let stand. The ship makes slight course corrections as he finishes and he finally leans back and sighs a long breath of relief. He only pauses to reach back into his pocket and pulls out his pocket watch once more, Checking it as he flips the lid open the glass shines with an unmatched sheen. Its polished silver exterior only adding to the majesty of its appearance.
Despite being in such perfect condition there was one fault to this object that though it was there, Robert was not going to worry about it. The fact was the watch itself does not work and has not since before his great grandfather acquired it. Robert reserves just to slide it back inside his pocket when he is done admiring it once more and slides his seat back from the console.

Pushing himself up to stand on the bed, Christope's fingers brushed lightly against the hot plastic. He balled his hand up and punched it a few times, though it made no cracks or dents. Deeming it impossible to try anything else, Christophe sank back onto the bed, laying on his stomach and burying his head into the flat pillow. Being locked up with no one to talk to and nothing to do was extremely boring. The only thing he could do was sleep. The man had the urge to draw, though he had no supplies at all. Not even something to scrape along the wall. Somehow he would have to get the attention of whoever worked here and ask for those things, or he could just get out of there.
Christophe slowly turned his head to stare at the smashed up camera just lying there on the floor. His attention then moved onto the camera outside of the cell, it could only see through the window on the door, meaning that it couldn't see certain things. Jumping to his feet, Christophe wandered over to the camera and glanced behind him, checking that the one outside couldn't see him. Placing the cigarette back into his mouth, he pulled the casing off the camera with his bare hands and picked through the machinery. Though it was broken, it sparked and hissed in protest as Christophe tugged on a few things. Christophe growled each time it gave him a slightly electric shock. Eventually he managed to pull out a few wires and twist them together in his hand. The end was straight and sharp, perfect for lock-picking. The only problem was the code on the door, and only on the outside of the door. Perhaps he would have to over-ride the system and electrocute it so it shut itself off. The camera could be used for that, but for now, Christophe would concentrate on picking the lock.

"Well I have to go see what all of this commotion is about. Your welcome to join me if you wish?" Mike said with a furrowed brow.
"No, I'm good. I'm headed to the kitchen to get me something to eat. Oh and I'm the medic on this little mission. So it looks like I'm still going to be putting bandaids on your scrapes." she said with a playful smile. She reached out, pushed his arms away from his pocket book and hugged him tightly though she expected him to be stiff. She pulled away and smiled.
"It's good to have you back big bro." She said with her normal smile before walking down the hall and towards the kitchen. She made a mental not to look for anyone with any lung problems, low blood pressure or thin blood the next time she looked the crew files over. She needed to know who would need looking after when they reached the new planet. She walked through big heavy metal doors and into the kitchen. A small girl was there moving about. She smiled and walked to sit down on the bar stool like chairs.
"Hey, I'm Elenna. You must be Emeline. Please to meet you." She said looking over to see if there was any fruit laying around. Elenna was craving an apple or a peach maybe.
OOC Notes
"That felt wonderful." Edgar said sarcastically. He lowered his hands, flexing his neck some before leaving the briefing room and into the hallway beyond it. As he made his way towards the kitchen, he looked around at the hallway he was walking through. It wasn't the first metal hallway Edgar had walked through, but the fact it was a hallway within a spacecraft made it fascinating to him. Course he only felt more idiotic at the fact he was being mesmerized by some plates of metal, probably something as simple as steel or aluminum. Am I so simple minded that a bunch of rivets in the wall leave me awestruck? Edgar just placed his palm against his face, shaking his head at his own lack of maturity as he made his way into the kitchen.
He looked towards the two women who were inside, one of whom was busy with work; hopefully what she making would taste delicious as Edgar hadn't eaten a good tasting meal in quite awhile. The other was sitting patiently, waiting for some food Edgar assumed. While he could make a pretty accurate guess that the woman busy at work was the cook, he honestly had know idea what the woman sitting down specialized in. He couldn't even come up with a name for either of them. The letter "E" came to mind, but he decided against taking shots in the dark at guessing their names as his ignorance would show regardless. If he didn't try guessing it meant he could avoid an awkward moment and at least keep some sense of dignity. So Edgar kept his trap shut as he sat down a couple seats away and brought his elbow up onto the counter and rested his chin in his hand as he began staring at a wall, quickly getting lost in thoughts which consisted of him trying to remember their damn names.

"Edgar, right? I'm Elenna, Medic" She said with a smile holding out her hand.
Elenna made it a mission to make sure she knew everyone on the ship by name and to at least meet them. If she was going to keep them healthy, she would need to know them, well she liked to know the people she worked with. it made it easier to keep them calm in a chaotic situation.

"Ah Mr. Valis, I believe we haven't met. Up to no good I see." Mike gave the bulletproof viewing slot a solid stare. He read up on Valis. He was a heavy smoker, and when he wasn't killing people he preferred to draw. He whistled and gazed at the spot where the camera was torn from its place in the wall.
"You may call me York, it seems fitting that you kow my name, we'll be seeing a lot of eachother. Now I'm a reasonable man, if you would be so kind as to drop the camera and chain into the drop box, I could perhaps give you something in turn." Mike's voice was like quick silver. The drop box was a simple series of mechanisms that were too small for one to fit through. Seeing as how the Camera was in pieces, it would be an easy fit. He wasn't talking to Valis any differently than he would to any other man. Though James had always been the talker, but Mike recently learned talking, rather than jumping to threats, often was more rewarding. He waved an old lighter in front of the glass slot in the heavy door.
"A lit cigarette for the chain and camera. Deal? So long as you don't start any fires of course." Mike said in a casual tone. The fire measures wouldn't affect the doors at all. A fire would likely kill Valis. If it got too bad Mike suggest the oxygen be vented from the cell, via the miniscule vents. Not even the smallest of creatures could fit through them, short of insects of course. All Valis had to do was cooperate. Mike would give him a note pad and some black chalk if he continued to show good behavior.

Robert stood from his chair after a moment of feeling a certain pain in the back of his head, He turns to face his captain as he finishes his rubbing his neck. The man he saw before him had been well known to him in the past, He was a exceptional man aside from being one of the best leaders among the organizations numbers.
"Captain, I have initialized the next set of way points and the ship will be underway to the jump sight shortly." He crosses his arms and looks towards the screen and he begins to rub his face. The look of the stars moving back towards and past the ship where entrancing to say the least.
An effect that he had always admired despite how many times he had made trips into the void of space. He watched in majesty as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bottle, The bottle itself had no labels of identifying marks of any kind. But it was easy to tell that such a container could only hold one thing, He popped the top and lightly tapped out two small green pills that fell easily into his hand. Before replacing the bottle back into his pocket he eagerly mouthed and swallowed the two medical tablets.
He moved his chair back towards his back and once again took his seat at his terminal, Making several small button presses as he finished sitting.

"Hey, I'm Elenna. You must be Emeline. Please to meet you." came the voice and Emeline looked over her shoulder at the woman, recognizing her from the previous meeting with the captain. She was just about to speak when another person entered her kitchen, this time a man. He proceeded to sit himself down and lean on the counter. Emeline inwardly sighed she wouldn't be able to get the meals done with these two in here, there was barely enough space for herself. The woman smiled "Edgar, right? I'm Elenna, Medic", well at least now Emeline could kind of remember some names. She probably should have been paying more attention before. So it was Elenna and Edgar crowding up her kitchen.
Emeline watched as they shook hands, rolling her eyes away from their view. She didn't feel the need to be too friendly, they were each here to do a job, nothing more. . She began to turn her attention back to the tin cans hoping that Elenna and edgar would maybe get the idea and keep out of her way but this was to no avail. "Elenna and Edgar is it?" snapped Emeline over her shoulder "I'll bring the food to you all when its ready, if you could please leave me to my work I'd be most grateful". With that last word Emeline picked up a couple of cans labelled 'Macaroni Cheese' and sighed. Junk food.

“Ah Mr. Valis, I believe we haven't met. Up to no good I see.” The voice echoed through the speaker. Christophe turned sharply to stare narrow eyed at the man behind the door. The man had icy cold blue eyes and hair as black as the night. He looked like a tough fellow in his late twenties; one which couldn’t easily be messed with.
“Glad I finally got your attention.” Christophe replied with a sly smile.
“You may call me York, it seems fitting that you know my name, we'll be seeing a lot of eachother. Now I'm a reasonable man, if you would be so kind as to drop the camera and chain into the drop box, I could perhaps give you something in turn.” Christophe’s gaze wandered over to the box located on the door. It wasn’t that big but it could easily fit the broken camera and the chain in it.
“Sounds fair, but it depends on what you’re offering.” Christophe crossed both arms, hiding the lock pick he created from two wires. As York held up a lighter, Christophe immediately considered trading it for both of the things in his cell. His body craved the nicotine which he just couldn’t get from chewing on unlit cigarettes any longer. To feel the poisonous smoke enter his lungs once more was almost too great to think about.
“A lit cigarette for the chain and camera. Deal? So long as you don't start any fires of course.” York replied simply. It was most likely a stupid thing to trust a dangerous criminal with something which could cause a fire but it was obvious that it would have no effect on the door and it would end up killing Christophe due to the smoke. His eyes wandered over the room, searching for something. They stopped only when they came across a small vent high up on the front wall. He hadn’t noticed it before but mainly due to it’s minuscule size. You would be lucky to fit a starved mouse through there, let alone anything else. The vent would hardly filter masses amount of smoke. It was more than likely Christophe would suffocate when creating a huge fire. That option just wasn’t there anymore.
“How about…” Christophe frowned. “I trade you the lighter for your broken camera.” he motioned with one hand over to the smashed up ruins of it. “You can have the chain if you bring me one of three things;” Christophe held up one finger. “Another pack of cigarettes,” two fingers. “Some paper and pencils,” three fingers. “Or some chalk.” He wandered over to the camera, bending down and slipping the wire into his boot before picking up the camera and standing up. He walked back over to the door, showing the broken camera through the glass window. “Deal?”

He returned the smile and shook her hand as he spoke, "Yep, that's me." He was about to say more when he heard the cook pipe up.
"Elenna and Edgar is it?" snapped the cook over her shoulder "I'll bring the food to you all when its ready, if you could please leave me to my work I'd be most grateful".
He pulled his hand back from Elenna as he looked at the cook. A rather grumpy person, huh? He felt rather compelled to stay giving the way she asked him to leave, but then he thought about it and realized it would only end up backfiring on him. He'd probably end up being scolded, being the rookie of the vessel, which wasn't really the problem. He'd been on the bad end of a great many things and being reprimanded wasn't something that ever worried him. The only thing that concerned him was the possibility of once more being left doing some menial and lousy task.
So, he kept his ego in check this time around as he stood up, looking at the cook. "Alright then, but only because you said please." He said with a smile. He then looked at Elenna, nodding his head. "Well, I enjoyed the talk, even if it was limited to a simple "hello". Probably end up running into you at some point or another." He then turned and went towards the door. "Have fun." He said with a wave as he left.
The only problem he had once he started walking was figuring out where else he could go. Going near the prisoner would probably not be happening, and he didn't feel like bugging anybody at their posts, so at this point he decided he'd just head to his bunk and wait for food to be ready.
OOC Notes
When he reached the brig's system, he noticed a slight problem with the power level in the prison cell lighting and security. Alex attempted to switch to the brig's camera, but came up with a blank screen, so instead he opened up a more detailed description of the brig's system. The hologram was showing two blinking red lights where the brig's cell light and camera were located, and Alex knew sooner or later he'd be getting called down to fix them.
Better sooner than later, he thought to himself as he went to the hook next to the Engineering room door, grabbed his mechanic Utility belt and his leather jacket before leaving.

Eddy V. Sovorov wrote:Hey guys, I really hate to be a party pooper but I am unfortunately going to have to pull out of this roleplay. I am really sorry, as this being my first ever post-by-post roleplay I failed to comprehend that it wouldn't always be a fast paced thing. So I'm really sorry for my ignorance on that; the reason I'm leaving though is I have eight days before I have to leave for my training in the Army which will be a sixteen week long period of training. I certainly wouldn't expect anybody to wait sixteen weeks just for me to come back.
I'm really sorry to do this and again I apologize for failing to understand that a post-by-post RP may not be as quick going. What parts I was there for I really did enjoy though, so thank you Adig for allowing me to take part in this and thank the rest of you as well. If you are unsure what to do with Edgar, he could just die in the emergency jump.....he got alittle reckless, ate to much and he choked when they made the jump! Anyways, once more I thank you for including me and apologize for having to bail like this, bye byes! =)
We'll miss you mate, it was nice RPing with you up to this point. I sincerely wish you the best of luck in your training. Try not to get killed, k? Kidding! You'll do fine. ^^
Lloyd999 wrote:I havn't gotten a pic for my chracter yet for several reasons, many involving access to a computer. I will get one as soon as possible, and possibly a good one, but for now I'll get a rough temporary one.
Oh welcome dude! Nice to be RPing with you.
@Everyone, I'll make a small post for you guys now, okays? Not that it matters too much, Christophe is locked up and will remain that way too. ;)
~EDIT~ Ah well, i've posted. It probably sucks cos my writing has been bad recently. So sorry about that! I hope you all enjoy my idea of Christophe/Valis being two different people, like a split personality, I guess. Mhm, Chris has some humanity, just not much.
