Background
A new branch in the US Military, called Loam, was formed in the year 2012. The Loams focused on creating Biological weapons that could pin-point certain races through genetic information. A young scientist, Tyler Jacobs, who worked for a Loam Lab, learned of the racist plans, and word had spread through the Nation quickly. Citizens began boycotting the Government, but the Loam soldiers quickly got involved, leading to numerous deaths of innocents. The violence picked up quickly.

In Manhattan, a Loam Lab was breached late at night. Someone had gotten through all defenses, and they found that a strong, unfinished, biological weapon had been stollen.

Weeks pass, and reports of citizens going insane in the city streets began to show. The biological weapon was a virus that infected the air, and entered a host by being inhaled. The virus would then make its way to the brain, and begin consuming it.


The infection worsened, and Manhattan is eventually quarentined. No one allowed in our out. Not even the military, who will now have to try to survive within the island.

We begin at day 32 of the infection. 9% of Manhattan's total population has been infection.
