Philip is 6'2 with thick red hair and big blue eyes. The most frequent comment is that he is the spitting image of his father the King, except younger. He is stronger than you might think and has a toned body from fencing, wrestling, and hunting.
If chivalry is dying, it's not because of Philip- he learned from his mother to be a perfect gentleman no matter the circumstances and is very charismatic. He is the heir to the throne but he doesn't consider himself to be a very good leader or strategist (in fact he's horrible at chess). Really all he wants is to be in a place where everyone isn't expecting something out of him other than to be himself. While he has the majority of women swooning at his feet he knows that none of them like them for who he is, they only do because of his title and good looks, and he's given up hope of finding love because of it.
He carries his specially-made sword on his hip at all times, especially when traveling, but rarely uses it outside of fencing.
Philip is next in line for the throne, but he won't be getting it any time soon considering the king is relatively young and healthy still. Phil is very close to his mom, being the first-born ans all, but he'll take off the head of anyone who dares to make fun of him for it. He grew up learning how to be a good "prince," learning all the different sports and languages and all that, but he feels like there's something missing. As far as he can tell he's the only one who's caught on to the affair between his aunt and father, or if he isn't then no one else has said anything.
