Setting
The streets are dark and dreary with grey around every corner. The London air is crisp and cool with dark clouds filling the horizon in a mad storm on the brink of destruction. Silent flashes of lightning light up the starless night sky and in the far distance the low rumble of thunder sounds. A white fog prowls the cobble stoned streets, making visibility limited. Most lights of nearby building have been blown out and now the storm grows steadily closer. Suddenly a high pitched screech is heard followed closely by a deep and ruff growl. The familiar sound of staggered, panting breath and feet in a hurry echoed down the streets. It's pursuers were not far behind their prey. Suddenly, the silenced is broken by yet another cry, cutting though the night like a sharp knife, muffled by more inhumane screeches and screams. As the rain begins to pour and the thunder grows louder, the creatures of the night come out to play.

This is a character driven role play and there are all different kinds of creatures you can be. However, as posted in the rules, there are limits. Any humans or creatures with powers, such as speed, manipulation, telepathy, are a no. Any creatures with objects, like rings or necklaces, that give a character are also a no. Wizards and witches, angles and demons don't belong either. More urban beings, like lycans or shapeshifters, fit more into the role play. Any race your not sure of, post in OOC and I'll let you know.

!) Characters There are all kinds of species to choose from in this role play. Try and stay away from Mary Sue and Gary Stu however. Be unique and creative when it comes to your character. You are welcome to submit almost any character but an angle or demon or some type of witch or wizard. I don't want humans with powers only characters that have certain attributes to them such as the ones I listed in the tag. This role play will be mosty character driven.
@) Posting Quality over quantity. I wont set a length for the post however I'd like to keep them more than a few sentences long and at least a paragraph. Keep the posts deep and informative. The occasional writers block is fine as well. Try and post often
#) Powerplaying Powerplaying and godmodding are a big no. Powerplaying includes anything that causes use of other characters. Even if you have to make your post short, do not powerplay. Godmodding is having a character that has ultimate power. For example a shape shifter that can shift into anything. Give them limits. It also includes when a character thinks something and another character automatically picks it up.
$) Sex/Gore This role play is a gothic literature genre. There will be kissing and gore, swearing and maybe even killing. Sex will go no further than perhaps deep kissing. If you are writing a kissing or gore scene they don't necessarily need be informative. But be insightful.
