All she is is an experiment. She doesn't know how or why. She wants to figure out how she became this way, but if she does, she needs help. Will you help her?
There is no limit to this RP, nor what you can do. The year is 2987 AD, and factions of experiment groups rule the world. There no longer are cities or anything else, and one of these groups runs illigal experiments on people. Please make your characters beleivable.

OOC Notes
Rain stared up and down the empty street. It was a ruin of an old city that no longer existed...Cleveland was written on a faded green matalic sign. Wherever that was. She kept all of her senses open. She knew they were after her. She never knew when or where they would pop out from and attack.

Shane walked quietly through the shadows, he followed Rain into Cleveland, he knew since no one lived here and the buildings were in poor shape it was the best place for him to attack. Instead of using the streets he jumped from roof to roof, even with his jumping he was still so silent. He wanted to attack her when he knew there was no other way out. He also knew if he didn't do it soon, that the other EAC assassins would take the chance to take her out. Shane wanted the credit, and he knew he was going to get it, either today or a year from now, either way, he always gets his victim. Shane checked his daggers to make sure they were still there, even though they were buckled into the sheath, that way there was no way for them to fall out. Shane made his way to a nice sized building and watched the roads knowing she'll be entering the area soon, he waited, waited like a python waited for it's prey.

A noise came from above Rain. A footstep. She didn't stop.

Shane watched carefully as Rain came down the street. What should he do. He looked around and found that some smaller buildings were beginning to lean, he knew if he took the legs out then they'd crash down, he also knew that she wouldn't know if he did it or if they fell on their own. Shane grabbed his whip and lashed at the three buildings, the sound of the buildings beginning to fall covered up the sound of his whip. Shane knew now that three paths were blocked and there would be too much dirt and dust in the air for anyone to see. He knelt and leaped down from the roof he was on, unsheathing his daggers on the way down. He landed without a sound, slowly standing up behind Rain.

"Hello, Shane...01578, right?" Rain said without turnng around. She knew his style. She was one of the eirlier experiments, but also one of the EAC's most succesful. "I take it you have come to either bring me in or kill me, right?" Her right hand was wraped around the hilt of her sword.

Shane looked to Rain "I'm not surprised that you know who i am Rain Walker 01542, No. I am here to kill you." Shane replied, his daggers sitting in his hands, the blades resting against his forearms. He knew she wouldn't die without a fight and that he was going to enjoy this fight. Shane knew that Rain will put up a better fight then any of the other victims Shane has killed.

"Well, then. I'd better not dissapoint you, shall I?" As she spoke, she had moved to behind Shane, her sword at his throat. However, she didn't go fro a kill, she knew it wouldn't work. Instead she whispered to him, "Your move."

Shane smirked some and knew she'd go behind him, while she moved, he placed his daggers behind him. When he felt the blade to his throat he placed his daggers agaisnt Rain's chest. "no Rain, your move. But seeing how we're in a stalemate, i guess we should back off and start again?" Shane suggested. He knew that the other assassins were getting closer, only a matter of time before they had arrived. He was going to try to end this fight with her death as fast as he could.

She jumped away from him. "Impressive...I always wanted to fight with you. It is a shame though that one of us has to die..." Rain had a distant look in her eyes, almost like sadness. She held her sword up parallel to the ground directly in front of her. "Shall we?"

Shane smirked some and held his daggers up, the blade pointing down. "we shall." His eyes remained emotionless and fearless. Shane was never the one to under-estimate someone, even if he knew how well they fought. He moved his left foot back and held one dagger infront of him while the other dagger sat lower, next to his hip. The rain began to fall, and lightning began to strike, he stood there not flinching, waiting for Rain to move.

A grin paused on Rain's face. The boy had been taught well. Wait for your opponent to move. So she did. It wasn't as if she had anything to lose. She attacked him, heading to his left side but swing her sword on his right. The lightning crashed above her. As blades met, they were close enough to hear one another over the storm. "Why do you fight for the people who took your life away Shane?"

Shane pushed against Rain's blade, just as she was pushing against his. "It's what i was created to do. Kill their enemies and defend them, why do you fight against the people who gave you life?" Shane eyes meeting with Rain's, Shane took his other dagger and raised it high bringing it down towards Rain's head. The lightning flashes showing Rain that Shane had no fear of death in his eyes.

Rain parried his blade...with her bare hand. A thin line pf blood slid from her palm. Red flashed through her eyes. "They did not give me life...they took it away...I was normal, I had a family, I had parents. And they took me away from that! They changed me into a weapon designed to do nothing but kill. That is not what I want, and should not be your goal either. I lied when I said before that one of us must die. No one dies here tonight Shane. This fight is over for now..." She launched herself backwards, and leaped up onto the nearest building. She cast a pitious glance at Shane, and vanished into a whisp of smoke.

Right after Rain leaped, the sound of a rifle could be heard, Shane wasn't paying attention to it, but kept his eyes on her. All of a sudden he dropped, his daggers landing in the ground, sticking up. Blood began to puddle around him as he laid there. He knew he had been shot, and knew it wouldn't take long for him to heal, but he laid on the ground acting as if he'd been killed, just so the other assassins didn't come back to actually kill him. Shane knew the others were jealous that he was able to track down Rain and engage in battle before they were able too.

"Find her! Do not let the traitor escape!" The cry was heard for miles. A man in a suit and tie with black sunglasses leaned over the body of Shane. "Good. Leave him here. He is no longer any use to us...Bosses' orders."
"But sir...Shane? I thought he was one of our...?"
"He was...but since 01542's escape, EAC has odered the extinction of all the experiments. They cannot be trusted."
"Very well sir. Shall we track her any farther?"
"For now, no. We are in her territory...She has the home feild advantage."

Shane remained very still, he wasn't going to allow the EAC finish the job. After hearing what the black suited man had said, he get angry, but he wasn't going to let that stop him from getting his mission done and prove to the EAC that he was trustworthy.

Rain stood atop a building about a mile away. So the Organization had abandoned Shane. That did not surprise her. Not at all. That was the way of the Eac.

After the group have moved on, Shane slowly got up. He sheathed his daggers and a low growl came from him. What has he done to deserve this, all he has ever done was do what the EAC had asked, killed who they wanted dead and make sure they stayed safe, and now they have abandoned him, he was going to prove to the EAC that he can and will take Rain down.

Once again, Rain appeared in front of Shane. "Now do you see? We are nothing to them. Come with me...together we can take them down. You don't have to live for them anymore. Live for yourself...Shane." Her face and voice were momotone, but her eyes held a sadness...the same as before.

As Rain appeared before him, rain began to fall, it started with a strong pour at first, soaking both him and Rain. The blood ran down Shanes arm as he looked at her "you had the chance to kill me, yet you wish for me to be a friend?" Shane stood there, putting pressure on his arm to try and stop the bleeding. He stood there in the rain, waiting for Rain to answer back.

"you're wrong, i never had a family..." Shane tone off a piece of his shirt and began to wrapp it around his arm. He tightly wrapped it and then tied it off to keep it there. He never took his eyes off of Rain. "Give me one reason why i should trust you."
