Resting her hands against the white, stone rail, the princess leaned against it as she peered down at the palace grounds. Various servants and guards were bustling about with activity, the wedding was three days away and everyone has been busy. Sophitia had chosen a very beautiful white dress, that fitted her perfectly, in it, she looked like an angel. She was already prepared for that day, and couldn't wait.
Outside the door, Zeron leaned against the frame, staring down at the rug that ran down the long corridors. Her wedding was coming fast, and he had yet to confess his love to her, but he wouldn't allow himself too. She was in love with Valience and if he were to come in between them, problems were a promising outcome.
"Zeron, please come in here!"
Sophitia's voice pulled him out of his musings and before he could register what, he found himself pushing the heavy door open and walking in to see her at the balcony. The delicate white cutains bellowed softly at the breeze and she turned slightly to see him in. She smiled even more as she watched him walk in.
"Yes, your highness?" Zeron said quietly as he bowed, then slowly crossed the grand room to reach her.
She frowned, her eyes clearly expressed her discontent, she again mildly scolded him for addressing her with formalities, reminding him that when they were alone, he was allowed to just call her Sophitia. Blushing lightly, and avoiding her gaze, Zeron apologized and told her it was a habit and that he would try to stop.
This rose a little giggle from the maiden's lips as she reached out with both arms and hugged him. She had known him practically her whole life, she knew as much about him as with Valience and she loved his company most of all. When Valience was away doing the things that only he could do, Zeron was always at her side. She just hoped that her being married wouldn't change things and as she embraced him warmly, she still hoped that their relationship would remain untouched.
Of course anyone witnessing them wouldn't rise up a rumor about them, speculating any romance in between them, for everyone knew she cared about Zeron, especially with what had happened to his family many years ago. She always treated everyone with love and kindness, but her kindness was always a little bit different with every individual, and for that she was deeply loved by almost everyone. For no one could be too sure if everyone did care, but it could be thought that most people did, and that was enough.
For the few moments that she held him, Zeron felt an inner warmth rise from somewhere deep within his frozen self, she was always good at finding the kind side of him, finding that rare smile that he never showed anyone. And when she detached herself from him and looked up into his eyes, he could still see the Sophitia he knew, before she met Valience and before her world changed once she reached that age that brought the heavy responsibilities of royalty. She smiled at him and asked him to stay there, and watch the sunset with her, he could never say no to a request, and he did.
Together they watched the golden ball slowly dip behind the futuristic like city that still held a classic essence to it...

Valius ran a pale hand through his long hair, pleased with his work. The long sword showed brilliantly, much like his well polished silver armour. He trusted no one else with his personal combat items, and always found the time to make sure they were well taken care of. He rose gracefully, smiling ever so slightly at his sister before striding from the room.
The long hallways of the castle were not yet entirely familiar to the future king, but he knew his way to Sophitia’s sitting room, as he was not yet permitted into her bedroom, and to the dining hall which were the two places he visited most. Directions to any other part of the castle were easily obtainable by way of the servants or soldiers, which were very kind to their ruler’s fiancé.
Valience paused near as a set of glass doors, which led out to one of the castle’s many balconies. He stepped out, a hand lazily rested on his sword hilt. He would be married to his beloved princess in three day’s time, a number which seemed too small to be real. He would be able to press his lips to hers whenever the need struck one of them. He would dance with her, watch her white gown shine in front of all of their people, doubters included. He would carry her to their bedroom and make love with her all through the night. He shivered at the thought and cast his eyes to the setting sun. She would finally be his, his to hold and love and protect. She would become the leader of her people, with him beside her to hold her up and love her.
Valience captured a low chuckle in his throat. His thoughts ran rampant like a child’s would whilst explaining how his life would go. Theirs was truly a fairytale, a dream like courtship that would lay the foundations for a beautiful life together. He smiled lightly, blue eyes catching the sun’s final rays like flame. Three more days.
[gaudy, lovey dovey post. Haha, intros are always so flowery for me.]

Valetea shook her head with a sigh. She was no better. Being the only female warrior to gaurd the Princess did not help to improve Valetea's impression with men, but that didn't stop her from loving one. However, she didn't have the guts to tell zeron how she felt. The Shadow Knight, as they called her, was not one for revealing her feelings, simply because she feared rejection. This was the main reason she envied her brother for beig abe to marry whom he chose because he wasn't afraid.

Sophitia murmured softly as her eyes watched the sky darken into a soft deep, navy blue, and a curtain of stars fall in place. She involuntarily touched Zeron's hand, that was also resting on the rail, he was still there.
He let out an inaudible sigh as he felt her touch. How much he would miss that, as soon as she were married, things were inevitably going to change, he could feel it. Glancing at her, he allowed himself to take in as much as her beauty as he could, basking in the memories of their childhoods when things weren't so complicated.
Feeling his gaze on her, Sophitia turned her head to catch his eyes, caught, the knight blushed lightly and turned his attention to the palace grounds.
Sophitia giggled gently and put her decorum aside, she poked Zeron on the the shoulder then ran back into the room. Three days from now, her whole life was going to change forever, she had to enjoy her last moments of freedom while she still can, and as she ran out of her room and into the corridors, she also felt that in doing this, as childish as it may be, she could cheer up Zeron, even if a little. The knight would never tell her, but she could always see the sadness in his eyes, even when he put on a mask of seriousness and control, much reminding her of Valience whom surrounded by important people, would do the same. And when the doors closed and it was just the two of them, Valience would easily drop his guard and become the soft, gentle young man she knows, while Zeron would take a little while longer to relax, in a way both men where almost the same, they both cared deeply about her.
Zeron's eyes widened a bit in surprise as the princess poked him, then ran off. Surely he knew this was an invitation to her little game, and with the hints of a smile touching his lips, he followed after her. She by now, was all the way at the other end of the hall, hesitating once reaching the grand staircase. She gave him that playful smile as he reached hailing distance and started down the steps.
"You can't catch me!"
She cheerfully rang out with pure delight as she started to skip the steps. Zeron reached the stairs and sat on the banister, sliding down. He was already on the floor when she reached him, but as she took the final two steps, she tripped on the hemming of her blue, delicate, lace dress and tipped forward. Advancing toward her, Zeron reached out with extended arms, catching her by the shoulders as she fell, it left him with little time to prepare, and they were now on their way backwards towards the ground.
"Are you okay Princess?" Zeron asked with a whoosh of breath escaping his lungs as he did his very best not to express the pain he felt on his back. He held her close against him and hoped that she hadn't hurt herself in anyway, knowing Valience would give him hell if he found out. Not that the knight was in any way intimidated by the future king, but they did have an agreement, since the prince was well aware of their "friendship" stating that he would allow him to stay beside Sophitia, only if he did what he knew he had to do-protect her. Any little scratch on her dainty, small frame and the prince would loose it, that much he knew.
Sophitia was surprised and shocked, but quickly overcame that, now she was blushing several shades of red. If her mom, or even Valience were to see this, she knew they would both inevitably freak! She smiled at Zeron who none the less was worried for her.
"Ah, I'm fine. I'm sorry I'm always such a clutz. A...are you alright?"
"No that's alright, please don't apologize Princess."
Zeron sat up and raised her gently off him, settling her before him. Then he got up and helped her to her feet again, she gazed at him and felt like a child. But she smiled again and expressed how much fun that was. Zeron only sighed, wondering if anyone else had witnessed such an improper display of imprudence. And worrying still over Sophitia, he looked her over, she was fine. Relief, for now...

Re: [OOC] Crimson Fatalism
When those roles are filled in, the role-play can begin! YAY!
Until then, I will just have to wait... >_<" *hates waiting* I am very excited in this particular RP because it mostly focuses on "woman" power and I haven't really seen an RP about a lady going all out on an epic quest to save her loved one. I hope this RP becomes something that will grow on us as players in this little project, and when it's done, hopefully not anytime too soon, we will cherish it and remember it as something special. I hope anyways.
Sorry for my ramblings, I'm just so excited! *w*
Happy role playing and thanks so much!
