Race: Human

Age: 23
Height: 5'6"

Personality

Callie is a quiet soul, who keeps to herself if she can. Many regard her as a loner, someone who is socially inept. She prefers not to be around people if she can possibly help it and when she is, she is distant and cold. This is due to a deep resentment within Callie caused by the pain she has felt over the years. She is openly cold towards people, though she is not a horrible person deep down, quite the opposite in fact. She is just bitter and has lost everything that she could had ever loved. And thus she keeps herself as far from anyone, afraid that if she becomes close to anyone else, she'll suffer the same pain that she has in the past. If she doesn't trust then there won't be a problem. The one person she does trust is Rachel. She is her leader and Callie believes she is strong and able, thus she puts her trust in her, even if she does not openly show it.

That said, she is loyal to her cause and underneath all of that pain, there is a heart of gold. Her tough exterior is just waiting to be cracked. If you are considered a friend, which is rare, then she is a kind, gentle soul at times who is always ready to help. Most of the time however, she is fierce of nature and will always fight for what she believes, no matter what it costs her. As far as she is concerned the people in the Guild are as close to family as she will ever get and she'd stop at nothing to protect them, even if it meant her life.

Equipment

Callie is normally dressed in clothes that allow her to move with ease, not for protection, which is shown by the scars on her stomach, obtained when she was 21. She is always adorned in her grey cloak, that she pulls her hood up to hide her face when she needs to. It allows her to blend and keep out of sight if it's required. Other than that, she carries nothing more than the two daggers that reside in her knew high boots, where she has access to them at all times. As well as this, she has her bow and quiver of eagle feather tipped arrows, that she carves herself whenever she has the time to do so.

History

Callie has always lived in a world wrought with danger and pain. She was born into it. Her parents, Felicity and Gerald Brown were part of the Crimson Guild. They could not keep their child, for she could be used as a weapon. And so, they took her somewhere she would be safe. Felicity's sister. The sister took her grudgingly, but promised to protect the child. It was only a few weeks later that the couple were killed doing their duty. The child, Callie as they named her before they perished, was to be brought up without her parents.

And so she grew up with her aunt. She knew that her parents were killed by the "virus" but her aunt would tell her nothing more as she grew up, wondering what they had been like. It was a fairly normal childhood, considering everything that was going on with the world. Her aunt kept her working on her farm, far away from everything else in order to protect her from the dangers that her parents had told her. Kiera, her aunt, was harsh at times, but even still, Callie loved her more than anything in the world and relied on her for everything. So when she too passed away, though not due to the virus, it destroyed Callie. She was only 17 years old. Alone and desperate, she has nowhere to go, no-one to care for her. All she had was the pendant that her aunt had always worn, a crimson ruby, which she had been given by her sister. There had to be a link. Callie was sure...

That was when she joined the Crimson Guild and decided to fight against those who has ruined her life right from the start. Those that has caused her immense pain. And that was where she met Joe. Joe was a warrior, just like she was. He fought against the virus in the Guild and she became dependant on him to get through her recent pain. He nursed her back to health, like an older brother and helped her get back on her feet. He was the reason that she kept on fighting.

They became close. Too close. But when she was 19, Joe was sent away on a mission. He never returned. He is suspected dead. And now, Callie is more alone than she has ever been. She vows to find out what has happened to Joe and resolve her issues. The problem is, she throws herself into any kind of trouble. The Guild is her life now, there is nothing else worth living for.
