Role:
Viktor's Daughter

Name:
Marishka Vasiliev

Nickname:
She goes by Ari, rarely does she use her full name

Age:
Nineteen

Personality:
Ari is a very determined girl, sometimes a little reckless, but she never loses sight of her goals. She feels like taking down her father is the most important thing in her life. She couldn't possibly see herself actually acting like his daughter and pretending he isn't a complete and total, money-hungry, maniac. Even though he is her father, she doesn't view him as such and probably never will. He's allowed countless lives to be destroyed, for the sole reason, she despises the man. He, and his everlasting smirk, are the part of the driving force behind her determination. She wants to see him suffer, she wants him dead. She will stop at nothing until he is taken out of power and the world goes back to some remnant of it's former glory. Ari is very possibly a bit careless at times, she doesn't always make the best of decisions and is prone to throw her own safety out of the window to achieve something. It's not that she doesn't value her life, because she does very much, but she tends to easily forget that she still has a heartbeat and isn't indestructible. Most of the time someone else has to tell her to be careful, it's almost as if the word isn't a part of her own vocabulary.

Ari is a nice girl, or at least she tries to be. She isn't quick to judge others and is always looking out for them. She won't normally hesitate to help someone, even in the most perilous of situations. It's probably because she thrives off of danger, almost as much as her music. If she wasn't a Vice and just a normal girl there's a good chance she might go insane. She can't imagine how life would be without the dangerous element hers has now. She can't sit still for too long and be idle, it makes her antsy. She needs action in her life, whether it's because her genetically-enhanced body craves it or just because she hates being bored is yet to be known, but she doesn't really care. A life with a cute little house and a white-picket fence aren't for her.

It's obvious when Ari is angry or upset, she might punch a few walls, but more than likely she will seclude herself from the group and brood by herself. She doesn't want to spread her toxic mood to everyone else, so she keeps to herself until she works out whatever is frustrating her, besides the normal I-hate-my-father scenario. She's always eager to fight, but not when it is someone who isn't the enemy, then instead of punching someone just because they made her mad, she might just yell at them for a little bit. She's focused on the task at hand though, and moods like these don't last long.

Whether you love or hate her, Ari couldn't really care less. She's only concerned about completing her self-imposed mission and protecting her friends.

Background:
Marishka Vasiliev, or at least that's what she used to be called. The Vice was born and raised in New Russia just a year after the Dawning. Her father, the infamous Viktor Vasiliev-the criminal bastard at large- had a child with a woman whose identity has yet to be revealed. The leader of Sync Corporation didn't have time for a daughter, but he did see her useful for one purpose: to be made into a Vice. He waited for her to mature though, so for the first eighteen years of her life she lived in her own apartment with a nanny at the heart of New Moscow. She didn't know much about her father, except that he was apparently a very busy man, and never thought much about him. As she grew older though she learned of the evil deeds he had done and the millions of lives he had sacrificed on his way to the top. Ari actually planned on killing him herself, when she was still 100% human, but that day, sadly, never came. Upon her ninteenth birthday, Viktor decided to show up at her apartment and had her handcuffed and taken away to the laboratory. Instead of living a somewhat normal life, Ari was forced to become one of daddy's toy soldiers. The man never cared about her and the feeling between him and his daughter was quite mutual. For changing her into a Vice though, on top of the other numerous wrongdoings of his, she was going to get revenge. After her transformation the scientist found that they still had free-will and Viktor ordered for the bunch to be terminated. Luckily for the group, they escaped the facility and went into hiding in New Moscow's filthy slums. Ari doesn't mind though, now she has friends and some spare time to plan on how to kill her oh-so-loved father.
