Physical Appearance: Zach is tall and slender, with slightly muscled arms and legs. His skin is pale, from remaining alone in his settlement, and from choosing to go out during the night time. His eyes are a dark brown that, if ever exposed to the sunlight, would turn a light hazel. Zach's black hair falls straight over his shoulders, framing his serious face. He wears dark clothing, usually loose-fitting shirts and a pair of grey or black pants. He usually wears black fingerless gloves to hide his gem, because he has no desire to kill until he has to. The cursed gem, cut in the shape of a 10-pointed star, is embedded in his left hand.

Power: Telekinesis - By using some of the power from his gem, Zachariah is able to move certain objects. He rarely uses this except to put obstacles in other Souls' way when they are trying to flee from him.

Personality

Cold, calculating, quiet. He prefers to remain in solitude, only coming out from his settlement when he needs to hunt for other Souls. He believes that living as a Red is a curse, though he does not wish for the company of others.

History

Zachariah is the only son of Andrew and Lisa Avernus, both Blue souls. His parents raised him fully believing that his Soul was that of the Blue, and when his Ceremony revealed that he was indeed a Red, they had to abandon their home and flee from him. Zac, having realized how miserable his life would be because of his fate, tracked down his parents and murdered them, taking both of their lives instantly and without remorse. He felt it was something he had to do, an obligation as a Red Soul, to kill his own parents. From then on he lived in his parents' home, a small house on the outskirts of the main city, by himself.
