The Nobodies
Some say they used to be real people, but now they are merely shadows of themselves. Making their living as bounty hunters, assassins and spies, these four people have no home to belong to.
Their hearts do not beat.
They do not sleep.
They do not eat.
They are dead to the world.
But now, they will become part of a war to tear the country apart.
Darkadia is split between the Northern and Southern kingdoms, each ruled by a son of the now dead King. Both son’s blame each other for the kidnap and murder of their sister and won’t allow the other to become King, each hiring a Nobody to kill the other.
But another plot is stirring from the underground demon kingdom.
What are their plans for Darkadia?
Why are they so intent on capturing the Nobodies?
Does anyone have the power to stop them?
Races
Nobodies: The Nobodies are practically walking corpses, all of them have been killed and come back to life and now they cannot be killed again. Despite being dead, they move, speak and think like living people. Their fighting style, weapons and skills depend upon the name they have taken. Although all of them were originally normal people, those memories and identities mean nothing to them anymore, some of them have changed so much physically that no one can even recognise them as the people they used to be.
Humans: The main race of Darkadia, mostly they are just normal mortals but there are people who have the power of sorcery; necromancy is an especially popular form of magic used and some even believe this is where the Nobodies came from. The only other distinction is between those of the Northern Kingdom and the Southern Kingdom.
Demons: An ancient and mysterious race, the demons are a cruel and sadistic race but they are very intelligent creatures. With most of them dwelling in their underground kingdom, there are only a few who live on the surface. Those demons patrol the areas between the two kingdoms, murdering and stealing people to take down to their country; men are kept as workers, women are kept as slaves and concubines, both are used for torture purposes.

Head of the guards (Female) – Best friend to the Prince and anxious to end the war, she is the first to suggest that they use a Nobody to kill his brother {Taken by Neonemerld}

Demon Lord (Male) – The sadistic ruler of the demon kingdom, he has some secret reason for wanting the Nobodies captured {Taken by darkune}
Demon Lord’s Trusted Adviser (Female) – The deceptive adviser to the demon lord, she has her own agenda for serving him {Taken by Shavnia_Velmount}
Head Bandit (Male) – The bandit who kidnapped and murdered the princess, he serves the demon lord in the hopes of protection from both the princes, he's only half demon {Open}

OOC Notes
Spider shook her head insistantly.
"She will not travel with you, she will travel alone." She said to Snake.
At the sound of footsteps, Spider turned to face Wolf.
She was intending to respond to him when he said he had killed the Southern Prince. Although there was no outside indication, something inside her snapped. The Southern Prince... Abel... He had always been the most affectionate towards her, the more caring of the two brothers... NO! Not her, the princess! She was Spider, Rayne was dead!
Then her reason set in.
"She doesn't think you have Wolf." Spider said slowly, raising an eyebrow at him. "None of us have ever taken a job without first going to check exactly what is required of us, and with you being the most scholarly and intelligent of us all she knows that you would have gone to see your chosen prince first. She saw you head South earlier and the time period was not long enough for you to change direction, gain your information and kill the other prince. You are not that stupid, but she cannot figure out why you would wish to decieve us."
With that she looked back at the other two.
"You had better go, before Wolf takes all for himself. She will meet you in the village of Terranthia when you have completed your task, she will find other work to occupy her."

Wolf said neutral "Just looking if you are still sharp enough, and for you two. I may be old in spirit but not in body like you all know. I have heard you and agree to it, oh and spider please stop in talking 3de person. It is that you are young but you know that I don't like excuses. and if you stay talking like that then you only assure every one around you that there are two you's, the you before you were killed and the better person you are know. And don't see that as a compliment." Wolf was hoping that she would stop talking for a time so he could think, but more insanity was heard in his voice than he intended. Both princes where going to die. And if that happened none would have a reward, more important he would not have his book. "You three juniors do you think that any of us is getting a reward if both princes are going to die? No one of us is getting anything else then a huge bounty from this. The both princes will be replaced and the one that has replaced them is not going to pay. So what do you think of working as a team to kill the northern prince?"

With the sky already clouding and the sun setting, Heath sat staring out fo the window at his quarters. His left foot was placed on his seat so his arm could rest on his knee. The expression on his face was one of dullness and boredom. Not before had he felt this empty and he blamed it all on the inactivity of his staff. The only thing they did these days was running about, telling him not to go on with this 'useless' war, for which he would reprimand them. Because wasn't it his brother's fault that his sister had died?
He liked to think so.

Akiroba was talking whit one of the guards on the open space in front of the castle when the alarm sounded. He shouted a order and began making his way too the prince. His old bones protested when he made his way up the stairs. Slowly he opened the door "An attack on the castle my lord, the attackers are unknown but it looks like a bandit raid."
In the door opening was he waiting for a answer, his body was formal but his mind was busy. Who was attacking? Men from the southern prince maybe, or the bandits could too be convinced to attack us. "What are your orders?."

"My orders?" The prince mused, his hand rubbing thoughtfully past his chin.
"I suggest you send the guards after them to stop them." He then suddenly shouted as he turned to face Akiroba. Anger was visible on his face. "How could they even have reached the castle in the first place?" He fumed.
"Tell me... is this my brother's doing?"

"It is not a good plan too give your brother the blame of every thing my lord. And my lord these men are very good trained and and...... I don't know yet my lord. the blame is mine." Akiroba was not someone who liked to shout, it meant people where angry and angry people where not really understanding. His prince was becoming a monster, maybe Abel was a better prince? He pushed the taunting thought out and walked slowly away "I'm going to arrange a proper defense, your men will capture one of these men for questioning." He slowly closeted the door, he ran to one of the guards "In formation push them out!" A small battle started, no one of the attackers would even enter the royal chambers now six guard's guarded it.

"This annoys me," The prince finally stated, not thinking his guards to be putting up a fight well enough. He reached for his own sword, though he wasn't very well in using it (he preferred a lance, or daggers), and exited the royal chambers.
Just when he arrived at the small battlefield, his hallway, he found that the guards had captured the intruders and he groaned. "Well, good work, Akiroba." He said without even looking properly at the man. "Perhaps you do have your uses."
Heath wasn't really complimenting the man, though he thought he was. Social tactics never had been the prince's strongest points.

Akiroba said formal "Thank you lord, do you want to interrogate the prisoner?" The man that had been captured spit on the ground "Dam your dead body's!" Akiroba was gave a sign and the man was kicked in the face. "Please be quiet for a while."

Snake started laughing after Wolf spoke. "Oh Wolf you always were good for a laugh. This is our business. Imagine what the head of a prince could fetch for? We could triple or quadruple our normal fee, and demand half up front. We'd still be getting what we should plus some, even killing both princes. Plus the chaos of losing both Princes... The Jobs it will bring. Don't tell me that you didn't already demand half up front. I suppose you could always take what you wanted afterwards. I mean not like anyone would be around to tell us otherwise. Even if they were, who cares? Not like they can touch us, we're already dead." He said with a laugh.

Wolf didn't smile "I accept your offer, my logic is better for living people." Wolf was unhappy this made all harder too work, if he came whit them and did what they said then is would result in them killing the southern guy and if that happened then he would not get his book, and stealing it was no option. The keepers of the library would rather die than give him the book and whit both princes dead they would take matters in one hands and burn his beautiful book, the king ordered that the book would remain unharmed without authority the fool people would burn it do dust and the prince didn't even know it existed. "Lets go then, or is something wrong here?"

Okay, sorry for my inactivity here people, I had done so to let other people post but now we have lost two roleplayers. However it appears that we have now gained another (Welcome NikkiCass), leaving us with both princes, all four nobodies and the demon lord. I think that's enough to keep things going for now. As for the spots still open and the characters that have been abandoned, if no one has taken them by the time they are needed then we will all have to pull together and do what we can. I should be able to take Deity, since Spider is going to get captured by the demons anyway, but if anyone is willing to play the other roles (namely the councillor, Kayla and the bandit) that would be great. Some roles can be dropped if there is no chance of them getting filled before they are needed but I'm hoping that this can still work.
Well, now that I've finished rambling I will tell you that I have just posted and hope to be moving the roleplay along in the near future. So I hope you all haven't lost faith in this roleplay and that all who are left still want to join in. Nikki, when you've come up with a starter for your character just post in Activity and we'll guide you on from there, if you'd rather wait until the nobodies reach the Northern Kingdom then that's fine as well.
I'll stop talking now.

That would be a pity. I'd have loved to learn how to rp on this site and the plot looked interesting. I'll just post something, I don't know if I'm doing things the right way though. I'm not quite used to forum role play anymore, most of the time I work with groups and profiles x]

Any tips/hints/help? How do I start.. or rather... how do I reply? (Though I might figure it out myself, I don't want to do something silly and look all noob-like, so practically all help would be welcome =) )

The Southern Prince is reserved for you, submit when you're ready.
Preferably between 20 and 30, don't forget he's the second eldest so we don't want him too old. And he knows that his sister was killed by the bandits who kidnapped her but neither him or his brother knew that the demons had anything to do with it, they just know that she's dead and they blame each other for it.

Neat! I've seemed to be in a number of RPs which seemed to have ground to a halt so far, but they have a knack of resurrecting like someone was a necromancer. I'll keep an eye on this one, and keep an eye on the Southern Prince.
