Personality: Rational, calm and quiet on the outside... yet inside his mind works quickly and doesn't miss a single detail that could influence his resolve. While coming off as a innocent young woman who is reserved and polite when that mask is taken away all that's left is a hateful little boy desiring vengeance. It almost might seem like they are split personality, but Iratori control's every aspect of his own mind. The anger he feels is his own, the conceit he caste toward others is his own. The only thing that matters is getting even and ending anyone who tries to take on the title of god. He hates control freaks and cowards, his trust is quite fickle and he'll only give it away when he feels the one offering compassion has no ill intent toward him. Still he can be easy to manipulate because of his single minded objectives.

His female deception is not something he commits to on a emotional level. Studying biology he understands what it takes to physically pass as a female but beyond that his actions don't match and he cannot duplicate the female mind. This leaves him open to be found out by the mentally observant if they come in contact with him enough. Little about Iratori seems genuine and for someone who is so transparent, its still hard to see through the lie that he wears everyday. In terms of justice he has no faith in a system that bows to the will of Kira and believes he must bring about justice on his own.

His weaknesses are obvious, one is his knowledge that dismisses the gray areas of life. Just like with passing as a girl and only taking the skin without the mind, he also does the same in combat. When a opponent fights a certain way he assumes that's the only way they fight. Change, emotions, soul and character all all things that cant be calculated and thus they leave him vulnerable. When faced with them he has certain nervous habits from adjusting his glasses on his face, brushing hair behind his ear, or chewing at the tip of his thumb. Being young he still has a lot to learn, but he holds a strong advantage over the rest of the Kira hunters because of his immunity to the shinigami eyes and 2 Kira's guessing his name wrong in a Death Note with his face in mind. Another wrong attempt would effectively make him immune to the Death Note according the books rule.

( It's important to note that he doesn't know of the Note Book itself, he only understands the conditions in which people died. In his fathers notes and prior cases plus L's broadcast in Shinjoku he figured out Kira needs someones name and face.)

Background:

Both of his parents were killed by Mikami when he sent their faces via cell phone to Takada. One had been a member of the SPK who got sloppy and it ended up costing his life. Later on Iratori's mother picked up the case and when Light found out someone was snooping into the cause of Sito Hagime's death he made sure Mikami took care of her as well. This was the price people paid for pursuing justice? Suspecting her death may take place, Ayami had Iratori get his name legally changed to Miyuki. At this time the boy was sent to live with his aunt with specific instructions. Never let the world know your face and forget your old name. Iratori lived with his aunt for 3 years until he could afford to live on the campus of his school. However... this turn of events is where the boy seized to be just that.

After reaching the age of 16, Iratori transferred to Minamino private all girls school academy. Hiding his identity deep inside as his mother had commanded in the letter. There was no perversion in his actions, Iratori cared little for affection. All this was is trying to stay alive and rid this world from those that cross the line between criminal and god. Having both of his parents notes Iratori studied the criminal mind of those that use the Death Note. A speech by C.S Lewis was underlined in his fathers notes to explain in detail how Kira justified his own actions.

Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies, The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

So that was it, Kira killed because they felt it was their moral obligation. They wanted to fix this world into a Utopia that could never be... humans as a species were not perfect and perfection could not be forced upon them... Iratori took up his studies into Psychology and combat training; tracing down sloppy Kira's that killed without planning out how to keep their intentions covered. This makes him a enemy of Kira and other inspectors alike... but Iratori was not about to pursue a rout of justice where Kira had too many loop holes... no, their blood was to be spilled without trial... Iratori was judge jury and executioner.
