Desmond walks. Towards home. Alone. No one accompanying him. Hell, no one even greeting him everytime he passes by.

No one caring for him.

That is the life of a loner. As the name suggests, the life is very lonely. No friends to talk to, nobody to approach in times of trouble, no one accompanying you whenever you're doing something. But hey, Desmond doesn't mind. Young Desmond don't need no friends.

He knows that soon he will get some. He just has to wait. It's still the beginning of school, and he hasn't proven his worth yet. He just has to wait.

And wait. And wait. Of course, a young kid only has that much patience. Ultimately, Desmond loses all hope. He becomes a true loner.

But he's just a kid. He ain't no adolescent. He's not angsty inside. He doesn't feel any pain. Nope. He doesn't mind at all. That's because he ain't dumb. Unlike a teen, who just bottles up the emotions and doesn't look for a solution to them, he looks for one. And he does, ultimately. He finds a solution. Guess what it is. Guess what a friendless kid does to cope with his loneliness.

Desmond just doesn't have the capacity to imagine an imaginary friend. It's actually very hard to make a whole 'nother personality in your head. it's like writing a book, only without using pen, paper or keyboard.

So what should he do? Songs... No. He's too young to fully comprehend the immense emotions found in songs. For now, he just finds them catchy. Poems.... No. For a kid, that's even more impossible. How about writring? Nope. He also doesn't have the mental capacity for that... At least not yet.

And if you say how about try socializing for once, that ain't gonna work. He's tried that so many times, but because of him never growing outta his loner phase, he just can't socialize properly. Even with other loners. So what now?

Show of force... No. My parents will- wait....

And so, the idea came. To let out his anger and pain and sadness, he made his own world. It was easier to make than an IF, since it didn't need to be 3d to be realistic. It just needed to... Well, to be.

Desmond's World

Desmond finally grew up. Up, and ouutta his loner phase. Now, he's no longer a loner. But he still hasn't foraken his world... The world he created, the world he rules.... Desmond's world.

So, instead of sacrificing his newfound friendship just so Desmond's world can live on, he has decided to share it with his friends. With y'all.

You are his friends. And you all have psychological problems and social problems, since now you're all nearing the teenage stage. Because you are his friends, you've all been appointed gods of the realm. Now you may control as many stuff as you like, just as long as it's still in your jurisdiction. Your goal is simple: To satisfy your emotional needs. But, your goal is also to feel better. So, you must also crush the goals of others. I mean, you're only friends with Desmond, and not the others.

Also, these needs have to change. You're living life. In this game, you must also show your life upon the ending of a session in Desmond's world. Then show the new needs of your character.

Character sheets should describe the ff.:
Your governed area, as a god of DW
Your primal psychological needs
Your grades in school
Your relationship with Desmond and how you met him
Your life at home, and not to mention your gender and birthdate

The curriculum may vary. But the age is the same, all 9 y.o. and also all are in the beginning of Grade 5. The game's timeline outside Desmond's world is shown before starting the session in Desmond's world. The game officially ends with all of you moving up to middle school.

The rules are simple:
Rules of real life outside the DW
Rules of the DW in the DW, but they are to be made up along the way by Desmond

By the way, don't forget the fact that Desmond also has his problems too. And you can't all be older than Desmond. Some may be, but not majority.
