Introduction
Everyone knows of the tale of the legendary Dark Knight, Sparda. It was many years ago that he sealed away the evil of the demon world where it belonged in order to save humanity. However, by sealing away the demons, he cast away his own power as well........
Chosing to live among humans, Sparta chose a mortal woman as his bride, who bore his twin sons; Vergil and Dante. These two sons, although brothers, fought like blood enemies.
Dante always sought to save the humans from the demons as an eternal quest to avenge his mother, while Vergil sided with them as a venture to gain power beyond that of the Devil King. These two, locked in constant turmoil, always sought to rid the world of each other.
However, after defeating his brother, Dante continued to work to rid the world of the devil's once and for all. It was many many years after that last battle with his brother before he confronted the evils of the demon world for one last showdown. He was going to barricade the demon world from the human world for eternity, never allowing the demons to see the surface again.
And so he did, and the world was finally safe from the evils of the demonic realm.
Or, so it seemed.
It has been many years since their time, Sparda and his sons, and they have long since faded from the face of existence. They are remembered now only in legend. However, the threat Sparda once cast away is nearer to ressurection than ever thought possible.
The barriers of the human and demon worlds have collapsed, and rifts in the blockade have been torn through the very fabric of existence. The demons are able to break into the human world as they please, stealing the souls out of unaware victims.
People live in fear of the demons, cowering at the very mention of the evil beings.
Aiding the collapse of the barrier placed by the son of Sparda is a society of devil worshippers known as Alumini. These underground occultists, armed with black magic and warriors birthed from devils, assault the human world with the blackness of Hell, and bring forth the dark terrors kept within.
Their only hope is a small band of devil hunters; humans who wish to send the demons back to Hell, and put an end to the Alumini.
Their cause seems lost......
//CHARACTER BIOS//
Devil Hunters have an advantage over Alumini in their ability to use guns and holy items such as Holy Water. Alumini have an advantage over Devil Hunters in their dark power. I want 5 playable characters from each side. Alumini are "blessed" with demonic influence but are nothing like Dante or Vergil. Lesser demons are easy for Devil Hunters to kill. Devil Hunters and Alumini are matched in ability to survive.
