She is extremely shy. So shy, in fact, that she has problems speaking in front of more than one person. She is also very passive and taciturn, not really displaying any emotions other than shyness and embarrassment. She was made fun of for skipping grades, and this is what drove her to her fear of people.

History

Azura is the newest student at Esaki Leo High. She was advanced two grades, and is in the same class as Almira. She moved to Tokyo from New York City, although her accent is a New England one. She can speak Japanese and 53 other languages fluently. She is shy to the extreme. She doesn’t talk unless someone repeatedly addresses her. She moved to Japan with her father after he got a job as a high-up in a video game company. Her family is well-to-do, but she wears her trademark sweatshirt every day. There is also something else peculiar about what she does...
She has been made fun of for her name before. Japanese people don’t get it, for the most part, but anyone who can speak English does.
She is very good at baseball, using a trademark pitch called the “Disappearing Shot.” Although she is from New York, her favorite team is the Arizona Diamondbacks.
