The Darkspawn flow forth from the depths of the world and spread from the south, overtaking all who stand against them. King Cailan has fallen with the Grey Wardens at Ostagar, and Teyrn Loghain has declared himself regent of Queen Anora, sparking a civil war. The Grey Wardens are all but extinct now, most having fallen at Ostagar and any survivors being labeled traitors to the throne.

In such dark times, it falls upon the people of Ferelden to defend their country. This, adventurer, is where you come in.

With no true heroes left in this time where a new Blight is nearly upon you the fate of your homeland falls to you. Are you a mighty mage, turning your arcane powers against the hordes, or a charismatic rogue hoping to make a quick escape out of the country? Or perhaps you're a mighty warrior seeking a party to help defend your lands from the Darkspawn?

Whatever your story may be, you are the last line of defense for Ferelden. Rise up, champion, and let your story be known by all!
