Introduction

It is a time where people used swords, magic and bows in the land of BilukkeaAfter an evil witch raises a dead army to lead in a conquest, a couple unwanted people are risen too. To be exact, the dragonfolk, a carnivore race that is supposed to be extinct. The dragonfolk were human-like beings with feather headwings, fangs and incredible strength. They ate Kitsunes and Dogpeople but were fairly on good terms with the nekos. Well, an evil witch rose an undead army with her magic but the army couldnt be controlled and the witch had to flee. She begins to panic when a couple dragonfolk awaken. Now a couple heroes need to finish off the enemy and it would be best to start off with the undead army since they can cause more damage and death than a few dragonpeople.

Races:

Nekos: Most nekos live in slavery because then cooperated with the dragonfolk long ago but it has been so long since that people do not know anymore why many nekos are slave. A few nekos are free and even fewer are wealthy. Nekos are humans with cat ears and tails.

Dragonfolk: Dragonfolk are supposed to be extinct. They were humans with feathered headwings, fangs and often had long tails. The are meateater and most like to eat kitsunes and dogpeople (dont know the japanese term). They are very dangerous and strong.

Undead: Not much is known about the undead. The army that has been awaken is made up of dead dogpeople and kitsunes only, those who died in the final battle against the dragonfolk. Dragonfolk werent supposed to be reawakened because they still have their own will when they are resurrected.

Kitsune: Kitsune are known as fox people (humans with fox ears and tails. They are one of the two dominant races in Bilukkea.

Dogpeople: Dogpeople are humans with dog ears and tails and are one of the two dominant races in Bilukkea.

It was dark. A wind blew across the former battlefield. A woman stood in the empty dead area and chanted: "Auraiel Lupri Wendounan. Celis Bara Chounan." The ground began to rumble, undead hands came out of the ground. Half rotten dogpeople and kitsune arose from the ground. The woman had an evil grin on her face. She was successful. The undead rose at her command. Old war golems rose too. Not far from the battlefield, a silvery hand tore out of the ground. The silvery skeleton of a person of the dragon folk climbed out of her grave. There were red glows coming from the eye sockets. The mouth moved without making a sound. A black flame surrounded the skeleton. A black and red tornado rose into the sky. The witch at the army saw it and noticed that it wasnt anything she wanted. When the tornado stopped, there was a white haired female dragonfolk standing instead of a skeleton. She wore armor and a cloak. In her hand was a giant sword with its tip stuck in the ground. "So I finally came back because someone awakened the old army." The young woman, named Ayane, said. She saw the mass of over 50000 undead soldiers in the distance. She was unnoticed by the undead until she stood right behind them. "May I have room to walk through." Ayane said. She was alive again and wanted to pick a fight with one of the war golems. A couple undead soldiers turned around and looked with curiousity at first but then remembered the dragonfolk of back them. They jumped to the side as Ayane pointed her sword at them. A former kitsune captain attacked her. Ayane planted her sword into the ground and said: "I do not want to pick a fight with you. First off, you are half rotten. Second off, I wanted live meat." She then caught the captain by his head. "I told you already, I dont want a fight with you. I can take revenge for the poor civilians who were killed after I have seen the world as it is now." She then threw the captain into the air and used a forceful push with her flat hand, flinging the kitsune captain 30 meters away. She then grabbed her sword and went up to a war golem. "Lets fight." She said and dropped her sword. The undead looked confused. "Is she really going to fight that thing unarmed?" An undead dogman said with a rasply voice. Another then said: "She must be very strong." He and a couple others tried to pick up Ayanes heavy sword but couldnt. Meanwhile the war golem tried to punch Ayane but Ayane caught the hand of the wargolem who was three times taller than her. She then began swinging the golem around and sometime let go, throwing him over the army against a boulder near the forest. It looked done for. "No magic? Too sad." Ayane said picking her sword back up. She then noticed the kitsune witch: "Hey you. Did you wake them up?" "Huh. Me? Yes. Would you like to join me and the army in an invasion against the country?" The witch said. Ayane giggled and said: "Join you? I dont cooperate with kitsune or dogpeople unless they are trustworthy. And the army? They arent braindead! They wont listen to you! Best is that you go away and hide because this army might make you one of them and I am of dragonfolk blood and we EAT kitsunes and dogpeople." Ayane felt fear suddenly overcome the witch. Ayane waved them goodbye and left towards the woods. "I dont care about the army as long as they dont attack nekos and dragonfolk in this life."

An unrotted kitsune stood in the midst of the multitude of skeletons. He yelled. Slumping down and supporting himself with the dark shaft before him, he punched the ground. The shaft wavered and pulsed like a cloud of pure darkness. "Why did I return. Why, why, WHY!" The man yelled. a few immediate members of the crowd surrounding him reached towards him with there skeletal hands. He snarled viciously, his blue eyes glowing in the darkness of the night, there shine cutting through the wind and rain. "Consume..." he whispered, and the darkness obeyed. the skeletons where no more, at least the ones around him. He looked to the scream. "Why have you brought me forth!?" He yelled, charging towards the biggest thing in the crowd, a golem.

Lydia was on one knee looking at some tracks that had been made. Her master had told her something had been going on around and it didnt look good. Her body shivered as she felt a strong energy. She couldnt help but go towards it. She was hidden in the trees when she saw this woman. She felt a great power coming from her. She observed the woman. She had long silver/almost white hair. She had white headwings and a silver tail and a white dress. She couldnt make out her full appearence because she wasnt close. Her intincts told her to run and she wanted to but something made her stay. The woman looked like a Dragonfolk. "A Dragonfolk? Here? How could that be?" Lydia was confused and was so focused on the woman that she didnt notice the undead soldiers. When she finally did she fell back surprised. "I cant stay. Its not safe." Lydia ran into the woods and kept running.

Ayane heard something. She saw a neko run through the woods. The neko seemed to be afraid of something. Ayane then heard another sound when the neko was gone. It was two kitsune troops on patrol. "Hey you! This area is off limits!" One of them said. Ayane looked over to them and said: "Huh? You talking to me?" "Yes! I am talking to you!" The kitsune yelled angrily. The other soldier then whispered to the first: "I havent seen someone like her. She isnt a neko, kitsune or a doggirl. What is she?" "What are you anyways?" The first asked. Then Ayane replied: "You really dont know what I am? I am guard general Ayane of the dragonfolk guard legion." The two guys looked at each other and began to laugh: "A dragonfolk? They havent set foot here for the past 900 years! And even if they still exist, there are probably not many of them left!" Ayane then replied: "You shouldnt mock me, especially when one of you is going to be my dinner." These guys didnt seem to take her seriously and probably have never seen dragonfolk: "This chick seriously thinks she is dragonfolk!" At that point Ayane had enough and took out her sword slicing one of the guys right arm off. "Aaaahhhh! She's serious about it! Run!" The one guy could flee. The other flew past the first and landed on the ground already missing an arm and a leg. "Help me! Help me!" He screamed. Ayane came walking towards them, showing her hands which still were of the silvery bone: "I told you, you shouldnt mock me. If you would have been quiet then I wouldnt have made you suffer." Her sharp teeth showed. Her fingers clawed into his shoulders and she picked him up, then ripping his head off. The other ran away in fear of being killed. "I will spare you. Just tell everyone that a dragonfolk is back and that I should be taken seriously!" Ayane said and grabbed a leg, eating the meat off of it while walking towards a town that seemed to be on a mountain in the distance.

Derek was working hard in his shop to fill out some orders. He threw a small thin blade in a barrel of water and steam erupted with a violent hissing. As he waited for it to cool he walked over to the furnace and threw in a couple of more handfuls of coal, which the blazing fire ate up happily. There was a ring from out front and he recgonized the sound as someone hitting the bell. "Be right with you." He called out. He wiped his hands on the gray apron on his waist leaving black coal dust streaked across it. He emerged from the back of the shop and approached the counter where a young mother was waiting with her child. "Hello" she greteed him with a warm smile.
Derek's ears perked up and he smiled back "Hello. How can I help you?"
The young womans child played with her hair as she spoke. "I need a set of silverware, my last one seems to have dissapeard for the most part." She looked at the child who hid his guilty expression in her hair.
Derek laughed. "Well one set of silverware it is. Is there a particular style you'd like?"
The woman thought for a moment and then shook her head. "No not really, anything will do."
"Well then, it'll be two silver coins and three bronze." The woman nodded and handed him the amount he had asked for. Derek offered a smile. "Thank you for your buisness, Ill have your order ready in about six hours."
The woman was surprised. "That's rather fast."
Derek laughed. "Well consider it special treatment for a busy mom."
The woman smiled. "Thank you. I'll pick it up later." And with that she left, the child offering a small wave goodbye to Derek.
Derek waved back and went to the back of the store, he retrieved the thin blade from the barrel of water and hung it on a hook. Above the hook was a paper with some words scribbled on it. "Letter opener. Middle aged woman with red hair. one silver three bronze. Due by tomorrow." Derek released a satisfied sigh and turned to the furnace. He checked the fire, it was burning very well. He then turned and walked to a section of wall. He removed a few blocks of the wall to reveal a small safe. He removed the key from his pocket and opened it. He placed the money he had recieved from the mother inside and pulled out a couple of small bricks of silver. He closed the safe and locked it, replaced the blocks of wall to conceal it, and then turned back to the furnace. He looked at the wall besides the furnace which held various tools (such as a hammer, forceps, molds, etc.) and removed a thick iron pot with a long handle. He placed the silver bricks inside the pot and placed the pot and it's contents into the raging furnace. "That'll take some time to melt. Wonder what I should do now?" That's when he heard some commotion outside. "What's going on?" He muttered as he went to the front of the store.
There, right in front of his shop, one of the Kitsune guards was shouting loudly. Derek was concerened and curious and narrowed his eyes for a closer look. The guards arm was missing and he was bleeding heavily. The crowd of peopl around him was steadily increasing in number.
"It's terrible." The guard screamed. "A dragon folk has arrived! And she's violent!" The crowd began to murmur in fear. The guard grew louder. "She attacked me! shes EATING my partner!" With that the guard collapsed and the crowd wet into frenzied panic. The shouts were endless.
"Were screwed!"
"Why dont we fight?"
"How about you try and fight and we'll escape while she eats you like an appetizer? You idiot."
"Wait how do we even know it's real?"
"Aren't Dragon folk extinct?"
"I say we go check."
"I agree."
"But what about the guard!? You want to end up like him!?"
"Shit shit shit."
"Mommy I'm scared."
Derek watched as the townspeople panicked and he couldn't watch any longer. He stood atop the counter of his shop. The crowd looked at him curious.
"I'll go check. If it is a Dragonfolk maybe I can reason with it." He steped down back into his shop and grabbed his blades off a wall, fastening one to his waist and the other on his back. "This way noone has to get hurt. But If I'm not back within an hour I suggest you start vacating this place."
There were grumbles and mutters of discontent from some people in the crowd. Derek turned his eyes at them and glared. "Would you like to risk your life instead?"
The voices stopped. And with that Derek turned to the guard who was breathing heavily and bleeding worse. Somehow he was still awake. "Which way?" Derek asked in a cold tone. The guard only turned his head and with the arm he had left pointed in a direction.

Derek had walked for a while when his ears picked up the heinous sounds. He approached with caution, he knew he should be careful. Soon he saw her consuming a leg slowly. He had to take a moment to prevent himself from vomitting at the sight. Quickly he regained his composure and gathered his courage and approached the, now confirmed by his eyes, Dragon folk.
"You know..." He spoke calmly. "I'm sure deer meat taste alot better than that. You got alot of people scared out of their minds down at the village. Can I ask why you have decided to return?" He made sure to keep his hands visible as he spoke to the woman. He was confident in his abilities but he had never encountered a DragonFolk before, she might be too much for him to handle.

Ayane was walking through the woods when she noticed an inu come up to her and say something about deer meat. "Deer meat? You've got to be kidding. I as a dragongirl live off of the meat of your people and that of the kitsune. If you are here because of the two soldiers, then I have to say, they deserved it. The mocked me and laughed at me and didnt take me serious. They also threatened me. Dont worry about me. Behind the forest is a bigger problem. And I didnt return, someone has reawoken me. Also the bigger problem is the undead army not far from here and that witch. Gee, it was fun to play with the golems. Too bad it shattered against a boulder when I threw it. If the people in the next town dont want to be eaten then I suggest just give me criminals to eat, so that we can spare innocent lives." Ayane said.

Derek listened to the Dagongirl patiently. "So A witch has brought back an army of the undead and you? Let me guess, the army didnt want to follow her orders so now they're pretty much just out for some world domination type stuff?" Derek sighed. "This is troublesome. Well as for the guards I get that they were disrespectful but death seems a bit...much, eh those two werent really good people anyway. I heard rumors they used their authority to take women whenever they wanted. Personally I was going to have a word with them myself but it seems you saved me the trouble. About the criminals, It seems kind of wrong to eat someone for stealing something or making a mistake, can you keep it to the condemend? I mean I just don't want to see any unnecessary death I hope you understand that."

Lydia wasnt sure if the dragonfolk heard her run but she knew she had to get away. By the time she stopped running she was breathing heavily. Her ears went up as she heard someone fighting. "Master? Is that you?" Lydia pushed some branches out of her way and saw her Master trying to fight off some of the undead. "I have to help him." She saw a small pond near the house and thought hard on calling the water. "Please, please come to me. Help my Master." Her eyes were closed tight. When she opened them there was still nothing. Lydia felt frustrated and tried to get in the fight too but her Master looked at her. She stopped and wanted to cry when she looked into his eyes. It was like he was saying goodbye. She took her Bardiche from her back ready to attack. "No!! Lydia run!! Now!!". "But master-" "No you must run. Listen to me." Lydia didnt want to run she wanted to help but she knew she wouldnt survive. Tears went down her cheeks as she ran. I am so sorry Master. Her eyes were clouded and she couldnt see right. She ran through the trees and finally she was out. She still couldnt see and bumped into a woman. Lydia fell back out of the force. When she looked up she noticed who she bumped into and felt frightened. The dragonfolk from before. She tried to speak but couldnt. She looked away and saw a guy there. He was tall and had black hair. His eyes were a piercing red but looked kind. She became confused. What is this man doing with the dragonfolk? Doesnt he know she could eat him alive? She got up and fixed herself; afraid to move and afraid to speak.

Derek was surprised when the neko girl ran into the Dragongirl. "You ok?" He asked with a grin, but he noticed her eyes were red, and her cheek was stained with tear trails. He grew concerned. He quickly looked at the girl. She had long blue hair and wore nice clothes. He eyed the bell on her arm curiously. There were no bruises or wounds and he wondered why she had been crying and running. "hey hey, is something wrong?" He asked. She looked so scared and then remembered the Dragongirl he was with. "According to legend DragonFolk protect the Nekos right?" He said asking the Dragongirl. "Is that still true?"

Lydia tried to wipe the tears off her face. She wanted to tell the guy she was fine but was she really "fine"? The guy talked about Dragonfolks protecting Nekos and it didnt surprise her. Lydia knew that they protected her kind once before but since they havent been seen she wasnt too sure things were the same. She wasnt afraid of the woman herself just the power that she sensed. Lydia knew the woman was strong so she was being cautious.

Ayane noticed a girl run into her. The dog boy asked the girl what was wrong but she couldnt answer. "Dont be scared. I wont do you anything." Ayane said. A guy in the distance stood there yelling inaudible things. "That guy must have seen the army. But I already sense that the army is heading the opposite way. Well I have been reawaken and cannot rest until I defeat that army and know that the dragonfolk are fine." Ayane said. The witch was hiding behind a tree near them. "Come out. I know that you are hiding." Ayane said. The witch showed herself. It was a young neko not any older than 20. She looked more like a sorcery apprentice with her light brown hooded dress. "Why have you reawaken the dead including me?" Ayane asked. The neko witch remembered the tornado of fire and dark power and fear overcame her. "IM SORRY! I only wanted to free my people and get revenge on the kitsune and dogpeople. Please dont kill me!" The neko girl cried on her knees. Then Ayane answered: "Kill you? No. I swore to not kill any nekos. You are coming with me, so I can keep an eye on you. If you end up being a backstabber then I will cut your limbs off and carry you like a backpack." "Thank you. Thank you." The neko said greatfully for Ayane sparing her. Suddenly a giant war golem was walking in the distance towards them. It was at least 50 times taller than Ayane and looked like an old man wielding a hammer. "People watch out, there is a slow war golem heading towards us." Ayane said.

Lydia listened to the dragonfolk woman. She relaxed but her senses where still on alert. She saw the Neko witch that was in the trees. She must have been following the dragonfolk woman. Lydia was stuck in thought trying to plan things out in her head on what to do. The dragonfolk woman spoke of a war golem coming towards us. She observed the golem's movements trying to read the opponent when she noticed her masters Glaive being held by the golem. Sure anyone else would have said that it could be anyone’s but Lydia knew with all her heart that it was her masters. It had a certain signature on the blade. Tears threatened to come but Lydia pushed them away. Her face expression became hard and her hair shadowed her face. "Not even you could handle him by yourself without being harmed. What is your name? I'd hate to just call you the dragonfolk woman." Lydia wanted to charge at the golem and just kill him right there and then but she knew she wouldn’t win; not alone.

Wave stabbed the golemn with the pulsating pole-axe, it's darkend features punching into the thick hide of the beast. it fell. He yelled and charged into the mass of rotting skeletal corpses. a line formed as he passed, releasing him. He stooped down and picked up cloths from a deanimated Aiken-ka (dog person). He put it on slowly, the baggy cloths falling all over him. Wave ran towards the forest, and the bright lights of the city. He may not know why he was reborn, but he would enjoy it.

Derek watched as the witch neko moved forward. He understood her desire for freedom but it was unwise to try something so dangerous. He gave the new guy a once over and ignored him, he was speaking gibberish. Derek had a personal peeve against people who use language badly. He looked back at the blue haired Neko, she still hadn't answered about what was bothering her. He was glad when the Dragongirl confirmed that Dragonfolk didn't hurt Nekos, it meant that she was safe, although he wasn't so sure about himself. He was about to speak up when the golem lumbered onto the scene. He smiled at the Dragongirls comment. "Yes, we sould be worried about such a sluggish behemoth." Derek laughed "If you don't mind I'd like to demonstrate what some of us Inu are capable of. He is heading toward my village anyway, I feel it's my responsibility to deal with it as such. If you don't mind of course."

Ayane stood there and knew something had to be done. A black haze surrounded her and she suddenly stood in full armor. "Dont worry. I will take care of this." She said and dashed off towards the huge war golem. The war golem then tried to hit her with his hammer but as soon as the hammer was in front of her she jumped on it then running up the golems arm. Ayane dragged her sword along the golems arm cutting a small crack into it. At his shoulder she jumped down and jammed her sword into his back. When she came to a stop, she got ready to use a fire spell.

"Well that's just rude. You going to fight the whole army yourself as well?" Derek sighed. "And after I said I felt responsible to take care of it, I guess my manners were a waste of breath." The Dragongirl looked like she could handle herself so Derek just walked over towards the Golem as it struggle to get the woman off. Derek had to jump over the huge hole it had made with it's hammer, although it was still a small task. Momentarily he was at the giant's feet. He looked up and quickly climbed up to it's waist. He removed the Glaive that was hanging there and jumped down. He jumped back over the hole and handed the weapon to the blue haired Neko. "Here. This is yours right? I saw the way you looked at it." He turned to watch the Dragongirl fight the Golem. "Is that what was bothering you?"

Lydia couldnt move as she saw the Dragonfolk woman attack. What is wrong with me? She just watched but then saw the man get her Master's Glaive. She felt joy when he gave to her. She held it tightly. He asked if it were mine. She smiled. "It isnt mine. It's my Master's weapon. He died trying to hold them off so i could run." Tears threatened to go down her cheeks. I guess I wasnt going to be over it for a while. He asked if it was the reason I looked bothered and I could only nod. Lydia felt the Glaive gently as if she could reach her Master through it.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I honestly wish there was something I could do to help." Derek's face was expressionless as he wached the golem fight with the Dragongirl.
"I don't know what it's like to loose someone at this age. I lost my family when I was young. I hope I don't have to see anyone die. That's why I came here to talk with this woman even though I was fully aware I could be killed. If I didn't then the village I live in would have been in danger. Even if it cost me mine as long as the lives of the people that have accepted me are spared then it would be worth it."

Lydia looked up at the man curiously. "I didnt have anyone but my Master. My parents left me near a river to just die or be found. I dont know who my parents are but my Master took their place. In others eyes I was a slave and I guess I was but he didnt treat me like that at all. I loved my master as if he was my father....and he died because of me." Lydia looked down.

"Did you summon the army? Did you order them to attack your master? If not then I can't see how it's your fault. I may not know your master but I'm sure he would agree with me." Derek looked at her. "I'm really sorry about what hapened but if you start blaming yourself for deaths that arent your fault...well I've seen alot of people destroy their lives because of it. I don't want that to happen to you, your master wouldn't either."

"I know your right but I could have helped. If only i tried hard enough my element could have helped... but he wanted me to run. I guess he wanted me to find the Dragonfolk woman." Lydia looked at the Dragonfolk woman. "I guess he thought she knew the answer."

"Would it have been right if both of you died? I think your master knew that he was outmatched, even if you did help it would only result in two graves instead of one. Your master seems like a wiseman. I don't think you should question his actions or blame yourself, it might be an insult to his memoy." Derek turned back to the Dragongirl. "If she's the answer I'd hate to see the question." he grinned.

Lydia felt comforted by his words. She grinned at his comment. "This would be an interesting group."

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

yes you can join since we are not that far

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

Sabimaru: Please write longer posts. Even if you write two very short lines it still counts as one-liners which I dont want.

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

after reading the posts I noticed the last thing your character was doing was running through the forest. By not posting you dont get attention. Post again and try to get some attention. Talk to someone and catch up to the story and you will have your interaction.

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

I just said that I am being ignored

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

why arent you posting sabimaru?

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

Sorry about that its that since you didnt post anything for a while it was hard to post something long.

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

People: The rules clearly state "no one-liners!" So write an extra line. Because writing so little in IC is clearly uncreative.

Re: [OOC] Dragonfolk: Revenge of the Dead

Aiken-ka is the litteral translation meaning dog-person.
