OOC Notes
Syn walked slowly and sullenly along the deserted paths of Dream City. It was foggy with dust.. and her wooden sword knocked into her with every step she took, deepening the bruises she already had. Most people would be taking refuge away from the lurking dangers running rampant here.. the Vampires. Syn wasn't afraid of them.. she wasn't afraid of anything. She was simply there. Not considered a human with a soul, but as a lifeless shell. Ever since she was born, people have found her completely devoid of emotion. "Like a lifeless puppet." she thought, remembering the exact words of the orphanage nurses. "They talked about me as if I couldn't hear them. .. No. They wouldn't have stopped talking about be even knowing I was probably listening on."
The human girl gazed emotionlessly into the uninviting darkness of the alley.. not seeing what menacing beings lied in wait and hunt there.

OOC Notes
Tristan panted heavily as he ran down the street. Stopping he looked behind him to see if anyone was following him, turning into an alleyway he saw someone walkking down the same one except they were walking towards him. Leaning againsts the wall he tried to think of where he would sleep tonight this alleyway looked dry but it was too dark to tell anyway. He'd have to find another place,at least he managed to steal some food today.
OOC Notes
Ruby had completed three laps around the track before she continued her walk towards home. It was dark, and freezing. The city was under a few inches of snow that refused to melt. The night seemed darker and longer than any other. "Great," she said to herself, "now I'm going crazy."
OOC Notes
Syn decided to continue into the black darkness. she slid her slender hand against the wall as she began her sullen pace. Her feet made tiny footprints of blood in the snow, for she had no shoes on. She stopped abruptly as she came upon a strange man leaning heavily against the wall. She unconsciously slid her hand off the wall and rested it upon the wooden hilt of her sword.
"Who are you?" she asked quietly, but firmly. Her voice echoed in the dark. She was not scared.

OOC Notes
" i could say the same thing to you" Tristan replied pushing of the wall slightly standing at his full height. " My name is Tristan, i'm not going to hurt you honestly" hey kept his voice soft as though not to panic whoever it was he was talking to.
OOC Notes
Syn smiled ruefully in amusement. "I'm not scared of you." she replied simply. "My name is Syn." She moved her hand away from the hilt of her sword and stepped closer to the man.
OOC Notes
" Well you have no reason to be afraid. Im human i don't bite unless the ocasion calls for it." He looked around " if i were you i'd get out of this area this is prime hunting grounds for vampire. I'd stick to the light areas you'd at least going to get some safety there." Stepping back into the light he smiled lightly "Ill see you around" he added before leaving in any old direction. He belived that his advice for the girl was very good he thought.
OOC Notes
"Silly.." she mumbled. "Vampires aren't scary either." she said to herself although the man was gone. With nowhere to go and nowhere to be at the moment.. she turned back around the way she came from and continued walking the along the path.
OOC Notes
Scythe sat against the dark wall of what used to be her school. Tears poured down her cheeks, staining them black from her eyeliner. She sobbed, not caring who heard. Her black hair fell in front of her eyes, shadowing the world in darkness, as if it already wasn't.
The hopeless thought of surviving grew dimmer by the minute, and she was ready to just give in.
Scythe's memories drifted back to simpler times, when she despised school and her parents, and wanted nothing more than to become something else, something inhuman. Those thoughts were insane now, for being a vampire was a death sentence. She thought of her little sister, of her boyfriend, her parents, her best friend, all dead.
The dark brick of the old high school crumbled against her touch. Scythe rubbed the tears away and stood, gathering herself.
She started to walk down the alleyway when she heard the voices.
