The year is 2012 and the supposed end of the world was true, to a degree. Earth was struck by a meteor that came from deep space, no one knows its origins, nobody no longer cares, all they know is that it released a deadly virus into the atmosphere and killed off approximately 82% of the population, all of which were reanimated into mindless undead ghouls most come to know as Zombies! Despite the majority being wiped and brought back as the undead there are still survivors, some that are immune to the disease, there are even a very few that experience adaptations from the virus, rather than affected negatively they are affected positively. The ones that take on the more advanced traits rather than zombified are known as the Sensopaths (Or known to be Sensopathic) to the remaining population, these rare individuals gain, what else, heightened senses, able to hear, smell, see, and feel three times better than a regular human being and has superior speed and strength, twice that of a regular human. Despite their gifts the Sensopaths are considered out casts due to them being technically infected and trip the zombie security sensors.
There is but one major known encampment that acts as a sort of city and it is called the L Town, L referring to live. In L town it is completely safe due to it being surrounded by mines, booby traps, electric fences, trained military operatives that survived the the viral release.

Rules
Typical site rules apply, no cybering (Roleplaying sex for those that do not know) No master and slave and the works. If you need to read the rules her is a link! RPG Rules
There are only three races, they are Zombies, humans, and Sensopaths.
You may only have 3 characters as this would apply to the small population of people, only 1 may be a Sensopath due to their rarity.
Zombies can be used by anyone, however, there will be no insane awesome zombie killing just to show off, in other words you are still human even if dubbed a sensopath, you have no special powers, no magic so no super god awesome killing of the zombies. However, yes again, if one is trained in specific arts such as sharp shooting, martial arts, or some other form of death dealing training then they are allowed to put those skills to the test, but remember, no one is super man!
Anything that exists in the modern world, as in is real and not some made up fantasy object or such, can be used. An example, guns are real thus can be used, but keep it within boundaries, for instance aomeone is not going to dual wield machine guns, it is just not possible. To wrap it all up into one word, realism!
No one is allowed to control Zombies in L town save for Tabitha as she is the GM due to the town being a safe zone!
Currency is anything worth trading, ammo, cigarettes, etc etc. Money has become obsolete.
Council members are decided upon by the GM!

Kael was your every day man, born and raised in the area around the Rocky Mountains. As such he was taught ot hunt, and to live off the land from a very early age. As such when the disaster struck, he was not entirely up a creek.

OOC Notes
Kael Wrynn moved up behind her as soon as she went to the door, pulling his 9mm handgun, he was not about to let her go out there alone. when she peaked out, tensed up, but when she pulled the bag back in and smiled at him, he sighed again, a sigh of relief. "Thanks.." He went to checking through the bag. Meal's Ready to Eat, Smokes, and ammunition, and some canned goods. That was a good thing, they'd eat well. "He left us some nessicary supplies." He grinned holding up a can of peaches, and a can of beef stew. He looked through the ammunition, alot of shotgun shells, neither of them had a shotgun on them, but he could probably easily find one here.
OOC Notes
Kael Wrynn He turned to smile at her briefly turning back to the bag, organizing it. The food if they rationed it out and ate enough to survive could feed them for a week or so. He looked contemplatively at the M.R.E's he was familier with the food item, his time in the service had introduced him to these packages. He sighed at the shotgun shells as well. He had quite a bit of ammunition in his own bag, a fairly common type in the country, it had only taken a few incidents before he realized that they were just like the movies. You had to destroy the brain to finish them off, even cutting off their heads didn't neutralize them completely. Fire worked paticularly well, and his time in the company of various special forces units had taught him some valuble guerrilla skills. It was about time for them to eat breakfest anyways. He put the can of stew away, and kept the can of peaches out. He stood up and walked over to his own bag, opening it pulling out a multi-tool, he set to work opening the can, and then pulling free two small tin cups. He pulled free two plastic forks and seperated the can in to two equal portions, sticking a fork in them both and delivering one to Kazumi "My mom said these things were man's greatest inventions" referring to the plastic silverware. He smiled, but his eyes betrayed him, you could see the sadness in them when he talked about her.
OOC Notes
Kael Wrynn He had only seen the end result, of what happened after someone was 'killed' by the virus. When she dropped the cup and began to cry, he quickly sat his own food down and rushed over to her "Kazumi?!" he said surprised. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" He knelt down to her placing his hands on her shoulder. He wasn't worried about the food, a bit of dirty peaches never hurt anyone. He wasn't sure what he had said, until he thought of what he had been talking about himself.
OOC Notes
Kael Wrynn frowned, he hadn't considered the ramification of bringing up family, he mentally kicked himself. He had been fairly certain that she had been traumatized therefor her mental block on talking, what he hadn't considered the reason she was alone locked up in a mall. He put his arms around her shoulders when she started sobbing in to his chest. He held her tightly, comfortingly rubbing a hand up and down her back. he felt like such an idiot for not thinking before he spoke. He didn't say anything further.
OOC Notes
Kael Wrynn Had always been the oldest in his family, a mother a father and two younger sisters. But he didn't hold it against her; he was human, just as she was. He felt like breaking down too, he just didn't because he was determined to survive. He kept his steely determined personality, because he had to. He didn't hold it against her that she fell apart.. how many countless billions had gone through the same situation they had, how many families had been torn apart... literally in some cases. A messed up world had become even more messed up. He smiled at her reassuringly, that sadness in his eyes disappearing. He'd stay strong, for both of them.

Kael Wrynn looked down at the spilled food, he knelt down and cleaned them up off the floor, and put them back in the cup, replacing the plastic fork in the dish. He moved over to the table where he had sat his own cup of food down and picked it up walking back over to her. He placed his cup in her hands, and took the spilled cup for himself. Smiling at her again, honestly he had delt with far worse, spilled peaches were easy to deal with, now having to eat out of a garbage can, and only having 2 minutes to eat your entire meal in training.. that was tough.

Kael Wrynn shrugged, and began to eat the spilled cup, giving her a 'what you gonna do' look from the corner of eye. a grin forming on his face. She had no choice now but to eat the other serving, she didn't want to let the other portion go to waste did she? He was always a kind person, but his teasing behaviour towards her was rooted in a deeper emotion. Possibly the loss of his younger sisters. He didn't view her as a replacement for them; but it was almost natural to treat her like he would have one of his. It was a confusing situation for him. But he hadn't laughed or smiled like he had in the last day, in weeks.

He scowled at her, had she not walked off and shrieked, he might have pinned her down and fed them to her by force, but when she screamed he quickly sat the cup down, and took off in her direction. "Kazumi!" he yelled. He made his way to her side.

Kael Wrynn blinked a few times, before it hit him, he looked at her now seeing that she was NOT in trouble, he placed his palm over his face and sat down, against the wall. "Jesus.. you scared me." He let his heart rate go back to normal. he looked over to the food and laughed a bit outloud, glad ot see that they wouldn't starve to death, scratch one out of 100 ways they could go. It was a morbid thought.

Kael Wrynn smiled at her, and then got candy bars dumped on him. In stark contrast to a moment ago and those tragic eyes of hers and those soulful sobs.. he much perferred her to be smiling and giggling, it made it seem like for just a while that they'd be okay. He picked up one of the candy bars and unwrapped it, why the hell not. there seemed to be enough to go around. Chocolate bars were parishables, they would only have a limited time to eat them, might as well take one now.

Kael Wrynn started to devour the bar, as he stood up to follow her. He didn't paticularly like her out of his sight, about as much as she didn't like him to be away. he watched her look up to the vent, he then looked at the vent, then back down to her. "What's on your mind?" he asked rhetorically, he knew she wouldn't likely respond verbally.

He watched her, and started laughing when she tried to pick up the ladder, he immediately moved over to her, to assist. He picked up the ladder for her, it was fairly easy for him, growing up in Rural mountainous Utah had it's advantages, he was a very fit and muscular person. He set the ladder up leading in to the vent, and then began to climb up it, he wasn't about to let her go first without knowing what was there.
