Introduction
In the year 2021, a large crack appeared in the south of Europe. Human like beings came out claiming they were demons who want to take over Earth. The demons first appear to be human but have some different features such as claws, red eyes, more teeth and sometimes even tails. But now, some teens have gone through a special phase similar to puberty making them eartheaters, the demons natural enemy. Eartheaters are human like beings with teeth and bones harder than diamonds and the hunger for everything. Some may to decide to purify what they eat (for example turn ash into soil or turn rock into metal) but if they dont purify what they eat, they might be more dangerous than demons since they can eat an infinite amount of mass and not gain weight or get fatter. Not all demons are bad and not all eartheaters are good. Evil eartheaters eat not just demons but also humans.
Now there are war zones between humans and demons. Eartheaters normally take part on the human side or form their own side. Warzones make up 15% of the worlds land surface. Til now they have been bloody and horrible. In the other areas it is rather peaceful and there are only few cases of demons attacking humans. But there is still a secret war going on in the peaceful areas. Eartheaters and Humans live normal lives and help each other to take out potential enemies.
Demons: Demons are humanoid creatures which came out of the ground some time ago. Most of them are evil and wish to conquer the surface. Some of them though are good and are considered rebels among demons.
Eartheaters: Eartheaters are more similar to humans than demons. They often have sharp white crystal teeth and eat anything. Their teeth and bones are stronger than diamonds and they have the ability to purify materials. It is hard for them to control their hunger but many of them can at least control their hunger. Uncontrolled eartheaters are dangerous and mostly have humans, demons and even other eartheaters as enemies. There are only a couple dozen eartheaters on the planet.
Setting: Romania/Eastern Europe, later Asia or America
The story starts in the town of Iasi (Transylvania, Romania)

OOC Notes
Miria was in school chewing on a stick when the teacher said: "Miria! Take that stick out of your mouth!" "But if I do I will get hungry." Miria said. The teacher snatched the stick out of Mirias mouth. Miria then sighed. The hunger was coming and the desk looked so tasty to her. She began gnawing on the corner. "Miria what is wrong with you? I need to tell the staff about this." The teacher said. Then Miria replied: "The principal and the other teachers already know that I am an eartheater. Good that I dont eat humans but I feel like having some demon for lunch." The teacher backed up in fear. "Please dont hurt me." "Calm down and give me my stick." Miria said. The teacher obeyed. Miria then took out a bag of coal and ate all of its contents including the bag itself. She then spit into her hand. She held out something glittery. "Here for you." Miria said and gave the teacher a pure diamond.
OOC Notes
Vivian sat crosslegged on the front porch of an abandoned house. She was looking at her hands, examining her ring. Her sharp black claw traced the carvings in the tiny black object. As always, there was the knawing sensation inside of her, telling her to satisfy her hunger. She had tried many times before, but no matter what, the Hunger was always there. She didn't know whose house this was or why nobody lived there, but it was empty now, and it provided shelter for her. Her bloodred eyes closed, and her head rested in her hands. She sighed. For now, not many battles had broken out and life was pretty boring. She stood up, and walked away from the house. She found herself walking into the city. The smell of humans and Eartheaters began to enter her senses. She opened her mouth a little bit, and she could taste it in the air. She took in a slow, deep breath, and the mingled scents danced across her tastebuds. When she realized what she was doing, her mouth snapped shut.
"Dang it!" She cried, frustrated. "I almost lost it." She knew that if she lost control of herself, the humans would be aware of her prescence, and when that happened, eartheaters most likely would find her. It had happened before many times, and the poor demon almost never escaped. She took a look at where she was, right on the side of a road, and standing right next to a school. And sitting right insdie the window was an eartheater, glancing halfway out the window, chewing on a twig.
"Dang it!" She cried, frustrated. "I almost lost it." She knew that if she lost control of herself, the humans would be aware of her prescence, and when that happened, eartheaters most likely would find her. It had happened before many times, and the poor demon almost never escaped. She took a look at where she was, right on the side of a road, and standing right next to a school. And sitting right insdie the window was an eartheater, glancing halfway out the window, chewing on a twig.
OOC Notes
The principal came in to the classroom to talk to the teacher. "I heard that you found out about Miria. I have to give you some information on eartheaters. Eartheaters were born from normal human but turned to what they are now during puberty. They can eat anything and purify the materials. Their physical strength exceed our imagination. Sticking your hand between their sharp teeth is like getting two ultra sharp razors pushed into your hand at a pressure of maybe two megatons (one megaton = one million tons). It would be painless due to how sharp they are. They are strong and robust but not more agile than a human being." The principal said. Then the teacher replied: "Whats with the uniform? Isnt it discriminating?" "It wasnt my idea. It was the idea of the school board."
Meanwhile Miria was looking out the window. There was a woman with claws. "Oh. A demon. Delicious." She said and opened the window. "Please excuse me. My lunch is outside." Miria then jumped out of the window and landed with a bang on the ground below. She began walking towards the demon and said: "Since when do demons sacrifice themselves. If you dont want me to eat you, give me a good reason." Miria then grinned with her sharp teeth.
"And eartheaters love to eat demons since they are their natural enemies. Eartheaters like Miria are good to some extent. Humans benefit on eartheaters like her since she loves to eat demons." The principal added when her noticed Miria jump out of the window.

"You want a good reason?" Vivian asked coyly. She felt the tiny ring on her finger grow stronger, her hunger getting fiercer.
"I'll give you one; Because I've fought on your side of the war before, chickie. Unlike most demons who don't have my common sense, I actually think before I run mindlessly into a battle; I actually decide who I fought with. But if you really want to eat your allie, be my guest, it's your loss." She crossed her arms, staring challengingly at the young eartheater.
"Besides, I've killed Eartheaters stronger than you before." The ring stopped pulsing and the need to defend herself ceased. "Was that good enough for you?"
"I'll give you one; Because I've fought on your side of the war before, chickie. Unlike most demons who don't have my common sense, I actually think before I run mindlessly into a battle; I actually decide who I fought with. But if you really want to eat your allie, be my guest, it's your loss." She crossed her arms, staring challengingly at the young eartheater.
"Besides, I've killed Eartheaters stronger than you before." The ring stopped pulsing and the need to defend herself ceased. "Was that good enough for you?"

"Oh please. Just because you beat eartheaters before doesnt mean you will beat me. I have eaten a bunch of demons before. I will only not eat you, if you swear only to harm humans in defense. I also eat humans but only the bad ones." Miria said. She then tore a brick out of a wall and said: "I am not like other eartheaters you know. I dont kill innocent people without reason like they do. I would even eat those of my kind if they are evil and corrupt. I would crush their skulls in my bare hands." Miria then crushed the brick to dust.

The brick dust sprinkled into Vivian's hair and onto the front of her clothes.
"Evil?" She asked, pursing her lips, "Are they evil because they are different from you? Because they are fighting against you they're evil? Trust me, I've seen both sides of the war. If you really think about it, there's no right side or wrong side." She blinked a bit of powder out of her eyelash.
"Honestly though, I don't know what you mean. To the other side, you could be viewed as the evil one. The mechanics of war are quite intriguing, aren't they?" Vivian said, her face was expressionless, her arms crossed.
"And aren't the Eartheaters discriminated and disrespected? Don't you ever wish that society'd treat you like they did before? Don't you ever think that maybe, the human's don't deserve the protection you offer?" She pointed with her thumb at the principal and the teacher, just inside the school. "Didn't you hear them just now? 'Human's benefit on eartheaters like her since she loves to eat demons', it's disgusting really, they treat you like some animal, or a tool! Aren't you sick of it? Maybe, before you throw around the term 'evil', think about what real evil is." Vivian finished, calmly scratching her head with a long black claw

"I know I am being discriminated but they dont treat me as an animal. They fear me and dont even try to treat me like an animal. I protect humans because not every human is bad and demons are the ones who are invading." Miria said and put the stick back into her mouth. "I will not kill you for now but if you try anything dumb then I will eat you. All humans in this city are under my protection except criminals."

"Okay, but watch your back; and not all criminals have to be bad." She said, "Good luck protecting the humans. And remember, you deserve much more respect then they give you." She took one more look at the Eartheater, and gave a faint wave.
"Bye, Miria. We'll meet again." She winked, and walked away, easing into a run.
