Introduction
In this universe, our game will begin, namely on a planet called Xanithe where the elements of Water, Fire, Air, Terra, Time, and Darkness govern the world and its inhabitants. These elements are powerful, raw, and dangerous in their true forms. However, great beings born from the creator, Hiiroshoken act as conduits and barriers for those elements. These beings are known as the six Dragon Gods and each rules over its element, keeping the others in balance. The people and creatures that inhabit the world fall under the elements as well, each having one of the dragons as his or her deity. And under the will and blessing of their deity, they are granted the use of magic from said element.
One such Dragon God is known as Sholin, Lord of Water. Said to be a massive, scaled, Leviathan, Sholin governs the oceans and rivers, and even the rain from the sky. He is said to be the most powerful of the world's gods because water encompasses many forms and is present in all continents. His dominion is located near the equator of Xanithe on the tropical continent of Ein. Ein is where the water element is strongest, especially in the capital city of Dendre where the world's largest shrine to the dragon is located along with the entrance to his lair. The city of Dendre is a lush, massive city arranged in a semi-circle at the edge of a cliff that overlooks the sea. Rain falls there nonstop because of the dragon's presence, causing the foliage to grow to astronomical sizes and shapes. The city itself seems to have grown from the soil much like the trees that surround it.
However, one day the peace of the city was broken up by a terrible, violent storm. The storm raged for nearly a fortnight and then...nothing. No rain fell upon the city. Panic and terror raged in the streets. Where had their dragon gone to? Determined to seek out an answer, the priests and priestesses decided to send four brave souls into the lair of Sholin to find their lost God. Little did they know that a thief would be tagging along for the ride...
Your role in this story is thus:
You are either a priest or priestess of Shoulin, a powerful water user and practitioner of the healing arts. Or you are a warrior, a strong dragon knight raised for the sake of protecting the people of Dendre from whatever evils still remain in the world. Or perhaps you are an almighty war mage from a distant land, using the elements of their birth to bend the world around you to your will. Maybe you are a ranger, quick with a bow and keen to the natural world, in tune with the animals and beasts that roam Ein. And what of the thief? Are you a cunning, trickster out to make it big in the world and score some treasure from the dragon's lair? The choice is yours...

Rules
- (( Due to some odd errors in the formatting of this new RP tab thing, the rules have not shown up on here, even after I typed them out twice. So, I apologize to everyone who filled out an application. Because my rules were inaccessible, none of you were given the proper information pertaining to this game.))
- There is to be NO and I mean absolutely no power-play nor god-moderation. If I see you attempt to control another individual's character, I'll boot you out so fast your computer will implode.
- This roleplay is meant to be for those with a decent handle on the English language. This means that players must have the ability to create good sentence structures, have a good sense of grammar, and check your spelling before each in character post.
- I also ask that each player post a minimum of two, eight sentence paragraphs or more per in character post.
- All players are required to post once every week. If you cannot do so, please, just post in the out of character thread and let us know what is going on. This way, we know whether you still wish to be a part of the game.
- Be creative! No one likes a game full of Mary Sues and Gary Stus.
- And of course have fun!

Re: [OOC] Ein: The Country of Serpents
Seriously, though. This RP sounds AMAZING and I really hope Chiyoko is up to par with what you're looking for in a priestess.
If you choose me, I cannot WAIT to get started!
