You are in a deep sleep when suddenly a bag flings over your head and you struggle to get out, but then getting knocked out cold. When you awake again you see yourself strapped to a chair with other people tied and bound also.
Two men approach that were both hooded and cloaked. One was wearing tight white cloths as the other wore loose black robes. The one in the white stepped forward and took in a deep breath saying, "Hello I am Golian, Assassin of Peace. You have all been chosen to a quest. Whoever wins this quest will get a great reward and whoever loses the quest.... dies. The reason this is happening might be explained in the end... that is if you live till then. You all have great stealth, quickness, and flexibility. You were all once great assassins of the universe. However your memory is dim from a great unknown war. There is one more thing you have though. You each have a element. A power! An ability that no one has been able to control. You will learn this ability when you pair up for your quest. There will be two of you and if you try to escape you will die." he said that then turning and walking out the door as the assassin in the black robes untied them all.
"You will each now choose a partner and I will be back within 20 minutes." The mysterious voice demanded, walking out the door as guards glared down at you.

Decades ago you were all once in the greatest place of the universe. It was ran by rankings. The highest ranking you can obtain is the assassin. You were all great assassins guarding the balance of the elements. A great orb levitated at in the throne room of the palace. It held every single element within it. Your job was to make sure no demon or life form got its hands on it. If so, the world may decay if the elements got in the wrong hands.
Soon enough, a whole army came. All of you stood guard fighting them off. Slaying demon after demon your victory was near. But then it happened. Suddenly the other protectors in the Palace turned into turncoats, killing every one of you. They ran to the orb and grabbed it but was stopped by the creator of the orbs, Golian. He slayed down the betrayers but began to be to much. So for his last act he destroyed the orb, breaking it into several shards.
The shards shot off into the universe. No one knew where they had landed. Golian fell to his knees as a cloaked figure approached him, ending his life.
But for the catch! The protectors of the orbs can not die. You have all been reborn in a planet called, Earth. You all continued with your life and obtained a job, wife or husband, and maybe even some kids. But time has come and your duty is not fulfilled. You are captured in your sleep and brought back to your home planet of the universe. This is where you begin to feel your sudden thirst of war and begin revealing your hidden powers. You each are restored back with great ability of assassin, along with a new statistic. An element. Since the orb broke, the elements were set free. Even though you are the ones who obtain the elements doesn't mean others have too.
Whoever gathers up all the shards of the orb and redeems them back together, is granted two options. To place orb back in the palace and bring balance back to universe. Or to keep every single element and power it obtains and turn it over to you. Your choice comes now.
You are to seek these shards and gather them up before it gets into the wrong hands. Others know about what has happen and are on the hunt. The fate of all living things rests on top of this small organization. These "elemental assassins".

OOC Notes
Fly finished her food. She felt so much better, but she was still very tired. She nodded to the others at the table and left her dirty plate where it was. She went back to the table that was for serving food and picked up a peach. She tossed it in her hands, doing a few juggling tricks as she went and walked to where she had seen Zak leave. She was worried about Kai, and she couldn't help but feel nervous around the other assassins. She still had no idea how she had made it back to the hall. She remembered everything up until she was smashed against the rock and blacked out. Perhaps Zak could tell her.
She peered into the room with the cots. She saw Zak sitting next to the bed where Kai was sleeping. She felt her eyes water as she looked at Kai. She walked in quietly and sat on the end of Kai's bed and tucked her knees under her chin to make herself as small as possible. She couldn't help but feel responsible. She rested the peach next to her and kept her eyes on Kai. "I'm sorry. I should have been there" she said trying to sound firm, but her voice came out shaky. Her long hair was still damp, so she pulled it over one shoulder so it wouldn't drip on the bed. "I won't let this happen again."
She felt herself becoming angry, the whole situation seemed stupid. She wanted to rant and rave about how cruel these people where, for taking them and asking everyone to sacrifice themselves for a stupid piece of glass with no explanation. She wanted to punish herself for letting people to get hurt for the shard. She had saved the shard, but she didn't care about it. She cared about people, about Zak and about Kai, hell even Gattman and she had saved none of them. She held back from going into a verbal rage, she knew ranting about it would be no good and Zak wouldn't want to hear it. She breathed out huffily trying to let her anger diffuse out of her.

Guard Thomas walked over to another guard, beginning a conversation. Thomas swallowed some pruple grapes he had picked from the feast and nodded at the other guard. Thomas swiftly walked over to the middle of the room, standing on top of a chair. "Attention assassins!" Thomas announced, scanning the ones in the room. "When you born the first time. Here. You were all born in this palace." Thomas explained, not stopping for any disruptions. "You were all trained to be guardians of a great orb that possessed the universe's power. Many demons and foes have tried to take the orb but failed. The reason the orb was created though, was because a dark conjurer was able to link energy and and an element together. This created the power of controlling an element within your blood. In order to stop this from going to far, we slayed the conjurer and put the elements in an glass orb." Thomas took in a quick breath and continued.
"One day a great army came facing off you great assassins and the palace men, guards, royals, and others. The army was a hard fight, but you managed to kill them off. Only two assassins fell. But then it happened." Thomas frowned and touched at his gloved hand slowly with despair. "The palace people betrayed you. It was a set up all along. They had the eleement of surprise and killed all of you in multiple killing blows. Of course Golian, our leader, was still alive. He warded off the palace men with ease. But yet another surprise came. His right hand man turned against him. If only we knew who it was. This man was so powerful and unique. He had such abilities and strength hidden all the years we had him. There was no way to stop him. He was also always cloaked so we didn't know his appearance either. He injured Golian severely and took the orb. Golian's last act was throwing a hatchet at the orb, breaking it. The orb was now between six through twelve shards. All the shards shot off in random places.
We organized a professional assassin group, but they either died, betrayed, or quit. Which is why we brought the original assassins back. You. Golian and his other assassins are forbidden to touch the shards. Xouge was a newcomer with is sidekick. Thy have been a great help. We still have some loyal people to us though. Like Akk over there!" Thomas said, pointing at the gray imp. The imp's eyes flickered and he gave a bow. Thomas smiled gently and continued with the story.
"So now we need you to regain the shards, discover your abilities, and become greatly skilled like you were once before. That way we can keep the orb back in shape." Thomas motioned at one of the guards. Four guards brought in a water fountain and placed it in the middle of the room. "Now look through this. This is what your dealing with next." Thomas said backing away from the water. The water began to show a picture of a great village filled with tiny beasts. The felines were all happy and worshipping a shard. "Now they are completely harmless. They lack all skill in combat, but their screaming is just unbearable. You will have to find a way to get the shard. It is always being watched and killing them off would be a last resort choice. Plus the consequence could be brutal." Thomas said, putting his hand in the water. He waved his hand around, creating a new image. This time it showed a small hill right beside the village entrance. On top of the hill stood mystic. "This girl dragon thing has been watching the Nak-Naks for a long time. Also her hideout seems to have a shard. Your third mission will be there. I think it would be best to wipe out this creature though, before it reports that the assassins are back."
Thomas looked around the room and thought to himself. "Zak and Nezmer will partner up this time to eliminate this thing. I have no idea of her abilities, but I doubt she is that strong. Zak munched on his apple and watched his brother as Fly spoke to him, the way she said things it was like she felt she was responsible for Kai's injury. "It wasn't your fault. There were too many gargoyles for each of us to handle on our own, I surprised we didn't all die in that town. You distracted the creatures long enough for me to escape with Kai, if you hadn't done that he would be dead." Zak says tossing the core of his apple at a trash can, it bounced off the rim and fell to the ground. Zak stood up dissappointed with his horrible aim and returned the core to the bin.
Slowly Kai came to, lying down was so relaxing. He needed his rest but he heard muffled voices and wanted to know where he was. They must have escaped the gargoyles, but he had no idea where they could have escaped to. Opening his eyes the first thing he saw was Zak's failure in shooting a basket. "Nice aim moron." Kai moans as his eyes flicker open. He found it surprisingly easy to sit up and put some pressure on his arm which had been a mangaled mess only a short while before. He nudged Fly with his foot as he sat up, "Hey you're human again!" he says remembering the cougar that took the shard in his fading state.
Suddenly Kai heard Thomas call for attention and listened to what he had to say, Zak didn't even have a chance to congratulate his brother for being amoung the living before Kai shushed him trying to pay attention. There next mission was being described and he wanted to know exactly what was going on. he didn't like the fact that they had arranged to have him and Zak split up, it didn't make any sense teammate wise because clearly Kai needed both Fly and Zak just to survive the first task. He was useless as an assassin, his weapon skills were minimal and so far his powers seemed to require his brother's assitance as well as only consisted of creating rotten fruit out of thin air. As usual he kept his concerns to himself because chances were the gaurd wouldn't consider changing the arrangements.
Finally the gaurd finishes giving orders and Kai releases his hold over Zak's mouth. "Feeling better bro?" he asks caringly, "A guy named Denzal healed you so you should be fully recovered." he explains why there are no more wounds. "Now if you'd excuse me I have to discuss something with our superiors." He smirks and leaves the room to face Thomas, "Hey, what's this deal about me partnering up with Carter(Nezmer?)?"

Carter turns to Thomas with question on his face "So I have to kill this Female Dragon knowing almost Nothing about it," he hangs his spare clothes over his shoulder as he stands up and contemplates a plan. "Suppose I actually participated in this event, I must go into this village knowing nothing of what could possibly ambush and kill me? Further more I have to trust someone I barely know as it is?" there is a pause as he summarizes what he has heard from Thomas which is broken by a contempt "Okay, wake me in the morning." He walks in the direction of the room they're rooms.
Tossing his clean clothes on the bed he begins to change untieing his tie and such as he lays down with his white, dress shirt under his blood stained vestments. Further analyses he discovers the smell of the corpses hasnt left his clothes and mixed with the smell of rotting gargoyle flesh. Carter gags at the smell and changes as he must, his eyes catch a glymps of himself in a mirror and he stares for a second as contempt as before the thought leaves his mind "..Dad if you could see me now.."

Jerry simply shrugged at the answer he had been given. He didn't find it at all worth risking his life out of curiosity. He returned to his corner, without taking one look at the food, or the other people. Suddenly the guard asked for attention and Jerry turned his eyes at him. As the man spoke he become more and more interested. Maybe there was something to it. Fighting came natural to him, wielding the swords he had chosen seemed natural to him... This place seemed less uncomfortable than it should be, considering he had been dragged there against his will. Trying to ignore the confusing thoughts in his head, after paying attention to Thomas' every word, he finally walked to the table and, nodding to whoever might have noticed his presence, picked up an apple. He took a bite out of it, thinking he might be more interested in retrieving the shard this time around.

She managed to understand what they were supposed to do, and after the man finished explaining, she frowned slightly as he mentioned one of the twins was to be partnered with someone else. He didn't seem happy about it. The other man, though, didn't seem to bother that much and soon left for bed.
She sighed, rubbing her eyes. She had worked for hours before being dragged there, she hadn't slept in a very long time. And although this sounded somehow amusing to her at first, after being very much aware of how close she was to getting herself killed, she started seeing this a little more seriously. The first thing that came to her mind was that they were all simply accepting everything those people told them way too easily. After all... The first mission was supposed to be a simple race and it was far from simple. She looked towards Thomas and spoke, in a serious tone that didn't quite agree with her usual erratic behavior. "What happens if we fail, pal? Or, better yet, what happens if one of us refuses to go on with this?"
The fact that somewhere in the past she had some responsibility here didn't mean that much to Jo. She wanted to know why the hell she should care about this right now. If there even was a reason at all.

Thomas knew questions would hit him. He watched as one of the twins made his complaint. Thomas tried to show curiosity and smiled. "I chose these two for a reason. Don't worry. They will be fine." Thomas said, walking away from the twin and getting smacked by another question. Thomas frowned at Jo and sighed. "You shouldn't fail and you shouldn't quit. If you quit, then one of us is required to kill you where you stand. My apologies Jo." Thomas said with a fake apologetic look, and continued walking off.
The candle's and lantern's light suddenly faded away. A signal for bed. The next mission would start in about ten hours. Thomas walked to his own personal bed and sat down. He rested his eyes and let out a sigh of grieve. "Please do let these assassins be safe.." Thomas concluded, going to bed.

Fly smiled at Kai, she had to hold back from pulling him into a crushing hug. "Yep back to my normal self. Welcome back" she said. She turned and looked as she heard Thomas call for attention. She listened to his orders frowning. They were going to be split up? What good was that going to do? Zak and Kai were brothers, they should stay together. They were more than that, they may have been twins but they were complete opposite personalities. Zak seemed loud, daring, optimistic and ready for action while Kai was quiet, negative and tended to think stuff through. Together they made a perfect whole personality, where each ones negative trait was balanced out with the others positive. She also wondered if their powers would work if they were separated.
She peered through the doorway, watching Thomas as he was bombarded with questions, there was no use arguing, the assassins where being kept in the dark again, these people where keeping their secrets. It made her boil with rage. "How can they expect us to do what they want if we don't know why were doing it? How are we supposed to know we are doing the right thing?" she said angrily to Kai. She watched the assassin Jo ask her question. Thomas's reply made her want to hurt him. She narrowed her gaze into a glare. "So they'll kill us if we don't comply? That's so stupid, its a waste too. Why are they so willing to expend us? We can't be that valuable to them, we're just they're pawns. It's our life not theirs, they can't force us to do anything and they can't just take our lives away. There are meant to be consequences for that sort of thing." she said turning away from the door kicking the trash can angrily. She paced in the room like a caged animal.

She rolled on her side and hugged her knees, curling up into a little ball, her damp hair falling over her face and body, angry tears rolling down her cheek. "I want to go home Kai" she whispered "I'm sick of this place. I'm sick of these people telling me what I am and what to do, I'm not an assassin. I'm sick of how they don't care about anyone's life they just care about these stupid shards and their stupid orb of stupid power. Denzal stood quietly, hearing in about Fly's complaint. With a frown he walked over to the orbs of past prophecies. Denzal grabbed one and his frown turned to a smile. "What a feeling." Denzal questioned the orb. When you touch the orb you feel the true character and personality of the owner. Denzal walked silently to Fly where she sat at the bed. Denzal grabbed Kai and whispered, "I shall handle this." Denzal nodded, still smiling and patted Kai. He approached Fly on the cot and sat beside her. "Dear mistress. You have no idea how much you matter to us. You are diamonds to a homeless man. You assassins are the only thing that can keep this world alive. Of course we do have a couple of dark secrets, but wish not tell yet. Take this mistress." Denzal explained placing the orb in front of her. "Perhaps this can solve your problems." Denzal said with a bow and faded away in the dark.
OOC Notes
Jo was, to say the least, dissatisfied with the answer she was given. That if she could actually call that an answer. "Well... Don't be surprised if I come to consider that my best option." She muttered when Thomas said they would be killed if they chose to quit. If there was one thing Jo hated was to feel cornered. Unfortunately, that's exactly how she felt right now.

Kai moved to the edge of the bed and looks to the bed across from him as Fly shoots out complaints, "Relax Fly, I can't say I enjoy this either but it's better to just go along with their demands so you don't end up dead because you aren't cooperating." Kai responds coldly, if she wanted comfort she was better off talking about this to Zak. Kai wasn't willing to voice his opinion, he was honestly scared, after nearly getting his arm ripped off and dying he was sure he wouldn't make it to the end of the second task. The last thing he wanted to do was worry Fly, she was to be his partner and if it came down to it he would risk his life for hers, she had a better chance of surviving in later tasks than he did.

Fly didn't move as Denzal sat on her bed. She kept in her little ball and stayed silent. The orb infront of her was almost hypnotising to look at but Fly couldn't help but despise it. She gave herself a moment more and sat up as Zak returned with the twin's orb. She sighed heavily "What ever this orb shows or tells us..we cant know for certain if it's true? It could just be like propaganda...to get us to believe that what they are doing is right." She didn't make to touch the orb, she looked at it as though it were poison. She knew it held answers to some of her questions, she just didn't trust it's credibility.

Laying down on his single bed he stares up at the ceiling in thought "What's my next move.." the question kept popping into his head over and over. "Agreed, no matter what these things show us we won't change our outlook on the situation, we're only enlightened to not make our past mistakes." Kai nods as Zak passes him one of the orbs. So assassin of lightening and darkness have also not posted in awhile. Guess they are done too. So we got like 5 or 6 people. Not enough and this is getting pointless. Sorry folks but looks like to many quitters joined this role play and we got back stabbed. If I ever remake this I will let you all know :)

I think Healing would be the most useful of the two if you permit me to use it I will, for now I'll restrict it to they can only heal others and must be together to heal someone, obviously sticking to your healing regulations as well. I believe it's small cuts and bruises for the moment correct?
