Factions, Families, Clans, and Empires
Schemeko's fur is a sickly green, brought about his upraising in the swamps of Nazar. His eyes however, are blue and do not show the same signs of pollution unlike the rest of his exterior. There are shades of yellow amongst the green, most notably the yellow sign above his eyes, given to him as mark of his status amongst the Hemlock pack. His fur stands up on ends on the back of his neck and his tail is often bushy, yet his fur resembles needles from the points it stands out. Not to mention the eerie green glow that comes from the tips of his needle-like fur as well as from his fangs and claws.
Schemeko, even at an young age had a sick sense of humor. Often worried by other for being a bit unstable, Schemeko would play cruel jokes and pranks upon his fellow pack members. Luckliy for him, his 'victims' wouldn't retaliate because of his relationship with the pack's Alpha. When out hunting Schemeko wouldn't kill his pray but rather play with them, let them struggle until they died of torture, he enjoyed the activity of taking another's life, something that should have been treated with empathy and respect for the once living creature. Schemeko was often scolded for his practical jokes that often harmed the wolf he played tricks on such as, lieing to a couple about their faithfulness, tricking others into sink holes, or hiding or stealing a wolf's catch. Yet, all of the amount of scolding and punishment did not bother Schemeko, as he would continue his mischevious ways later. Cunning and devious, Schemeko is often the pride of the pack even though he is as much as the pain of the pack, as well. His unique strategies on hunting and killing has gained favorable results, helpling provide the pack with more food.
Thanks to years of eating poisonous plants and venomous animals, Schemeko has developed a particularly deadly venom he can secrete from his fangs or claws. His venom is considered the work of a prodigy as his strikes often entailed a long, painful, death for any unlucky creature. The venom has been classified as a neuro-toxin of some variation, of course if Schemeko gives alot of the venom then the death will be much more quicker.
Edit: Unbeknownst to the others Schemeko's actual toxin has something to do with the disease-ridden bacteria that are found in the Swamps. Schemeko has been able to make it into a weapon were other Hemlocks can not. How he is able to do this though is unknown to all but him.
Born into the Alpha's family, Schemeko has lived a life of privilege since the beginning. Schemeko was pampered by his mother and was disciplined by his father. Even though they had arguments over Schemeko's upbringing, the arguments were always brought about after Schemeko's disobedience and rule-breaking. As he grew, Schemeko had difficulty in keeping friends, thanks to his cruelty and manipulative behavior. Not to mention he always took a joke too far. When Schemeko became of age, he sought to break away from the pack, since he saw them to be too hesitant. Although this isn't the case, Schemeko crossed the line with the Alpha about his inability to finish the job, accusing him of being to soft-hearted and weak. Although the Alpha can tolerate some criticism, what Schemeko did was insulting and disrespectful. Not always one to follow authority he ignore the Alpha's threats and continued to plague the pack with his mischeviousness. In recent times however, Schemeko has grown maniacal and his crazed ramblings have both shocked and disturbed others. This recent change in Schemeko has most of the pack worried, now with this war going on Schemeko's mental disturbance may prove useful in this battle for the Hemlock pack, that is if he doesn't turn on them first.
After wandering off far from the Nazar Swamps one day, he would come across the Avira, Cerise. Immediately he tried to ease himself in to her little social circle. Originally he wanted to play a little game with them, to experiment upon them. Tried as he might their chaotic lifestyle stood in his path every time. One to go along for the ride, he is getting rather tired of the ride itself. From fighting crazed wolves every step of the way, Schemeko is seeking to leave this group. I mean after all, he had to fight wolves of all sorts. From soldiers, to 'mole wolves', and Rashid's puppets. Yet, the obstacles are great, ranging from forest fires, to escaping underground civilizations, and fighting in deadly games. All of this is forcing even this twisted wolf to perform...bleh....acts of heroism.
Still in the face of danger he never looses his devious and calculating ways. And he has, not by choice, remained loyal to these mavericks. Yet, he is always scheming, always watching, his time is nigh, and soon he will pull off a great deception. That is if he lives through all of these misadventures.
Wandering through the woods with no particular destination, Schemeko talks to himself, "Well it seems I have detatched myself pretty far this time..." he speaks with a hint of snickering, "Ooh the area looks oh so different from those mangy old swamps....hm....where am I?" Before he could answer himself he saw a white wolf with wings walking not to far off by him, "Perhaps she will know." Schemeko almost slithering over crossed Cerise's path. "Why in all of my existance, I never fathomed I would see a member from the Avira." Schemeko speaks with a cooling tone as he examines the winged wolf. "My dear would you happen to know where we are?" "You see I am a bit lost and could use some direction." Schemeko asks keeping a cool tone that is almost soothing, almost seductive, if there wasn't that odd feeling of depravity hidden in there. Then he noticed the black wolf that rolled out with some sort of catch. "Why hello there..." Schemeko said with a little bit of disappointment as he saw Shinobi lie there with his prey.
When Shinobi rolled out in front of her; his teeth sunken into a small fawn, Cerise didn't think much of it. Instead she smiled "Nice catch new guy, but I think its dead now so you can take your teeth out." She chuckles and soon enough another wolf came out of the forest. Specifically Hemlock. Cerise had had a horrid battle with one which resulted in her getting bitten and almost dying from the venom, but Cerise kept her composure and replied calmly. "Its Avira, and I think we are in..." Cerise thinks for a moment before replying. "Liron forest." She says surely. "Yes, that's where we are, and I'm not lost either." She states.
He smiled at Cerise's compliment with his teeth still dug in the fawn's neck "One minute" he mumbled as he finished feasting of the blood. Shinobi kept his eye on the Hemlock wolf, and while Cerise spoke to the him he licked his teeth clean so that when he spoke he wouldn't have blood stains on his teeth. "Umm I haven't really introduced myself to you. I am Shinobi of the Strigoi pack Nobi for short." he said to her while also cracking a smile flashing his dagger like fangs.
"Oh." "So thats where we are?" Schemeko said acting obtusely. "I never would have guessed." Schemeko surveys the area as attention draws back down to Shinobi. "Ooh not only an Avira but also a Strigoi!" "My, my what luck this day has for me to see two such fine specimens of two very unique packs." Again speaking with cool refinement, Schemeko observes Shinobi and Cerise, "Now if I didn't know better, it seems like you two have seen battle." "It wouldn't surprise me, dark days have fallen on this land...even my reclusive pack has been drawn into battle."
"Who? Me?" Schemeko feigning his ignorance, "Who would want to know little old me?" "Well, I'm flattered and flattery will get you everywhere..." after a disturbing pause, "...I shall indulge your request." "My name is Schemeko, and it is a pleasure to meet you." He said with that seductive undertone. He turned his attention back to Shinobi, "My what fine fangs you have there." "Would you like to see mine?" Schemeko smiled a toothy grin as his fangs were quite long too, not to mention the sickly green color of the fangs. "Not bad huh?" Schemeko laughed a unnerving laugh.
Alright, Cerise was getting a little uncomfortable. She laughed nervously, "Lucky's, I don't have fangs as long as you two..." She says shyly as she smiles showing her, not very long fangs. Closing her mouth now she starts to back a tad but not to much to where the males would notice. That was another thing. There were no females around her which sort of made her feel... somewhat awkward so she kept quiet.
"Aww you have tiny fangs" He laughed at Cerise attempting to ease the tension "Schemeko?" Shinobi said inquisitively while also trying to erase the repulsive a sickly image of Schemeko's teeth from his brain "What brings you so far out the swamp?" He then proceed to pull himself and his kill back a few steps attempting to hold his lunches down from the nauseating smell of the Hemlock wolf.
"Hm....that is a good question...why am I out here...why is anyone out here?" "Are we all not wolves?" "Albeit our differences in our looks, territory and abilities, but still wolves." Schemeko continues to ramble. "Yes, I merely detatched myself from the swamp for a change of scenery." "The swamp, even though is my home, gets boring and is quite dismal compared to this forest for instance, the trees are tall and covered in colorful foliage." Schemeko continues. "Back in the Nazar, the trees are dumpy and droopy and depressing."Schemeko said venomously."The bushes are mossy and mangled, unlike the plants here which grow large and beautiful!" Schemeko said with excitement."Yes, a change of scenery is just what I was looking for, that is until I got lost in thought." After another disturbing pause Schemeko speaks,"Have you ever wondered why so many wolves have become ill of late?" "Many speculate that is the war that is causing the disease, others say it is the abnormal change in seasons, all excellent points, but I believe the answer lie within." "I think a plague is festering amongst us, but not a plague you would think of no... a plague that drains the hope...hope is what keeps others strong through difficult times, but I see that hope diminishing." "Don't you agree that this war is merely the beginning of the end?" "Or maybe the beginning of something new?" "Hm." Schemeko then looks up to the sky with a puzzled look upon his face.
"Yeah…" Cerise says a bit confused. "Well I guess I agree with you a little, but it doesn't make any sense… For every war there has to be a cause, but before the wars everything was at peace. I mean there are some packs that could be suspected… but I doubt some pack would start wars between them and the other packs. I mean every pack is at war with one another. So it wouldn't make any sense for one of the packs to start polluting the world of Nigerius. So it would only make sense if someone or something out of the packs to start the battles…" Cerise thought a moment but only shook her head. "…This is only a theory though." she says calmly before looking up into the sky. Clouds had now covered up the sun out of no where. "Hmm… Guess we'll get some rain. Maybe that's why all of the birds aren't flying today…"
Still gazing into the sky, he noticed the formation of the clouds, "Well, it seems the sky may weep today." Schemeko said lazily, "I wonder what kind of tragedy has occurred?" Schemeko said as he brought his head back down. "Oh? So you believe one individual started this war?" "Or even a single force?" "Hm, interesting, very interesting indeed." Schemeko's tail twitched back and forth as he thought about Cerise's theroy. "I suppose it could be possible..." after a pause he began to act obtusely again, "...but who could be so horrible to even conceive of starting this dreadful war?" "Maybe someone was incredibly bored or maybe they have a grudge against the packs?" Snickering, Schemeko says, " Still, why should we concern ourselves with wordly affairs?" "War is an old wolf's game, I perfer we play something with a more... ...sporting outcome." Schemeko once again smiled sending another feeling of unsettlingness.
Cerise looks down avoiding eye contact. "So..." she starts. "I'm going to check up on the weather." With this said she spreads her wings and flies upward above the trees. Gently turning her wings forward so the wind can push her up making her hover, though she still has to take minor flaps here and there. Her teal eyes scanned the sky and she saw in the very far distance, black rising clouds, lightning flashing all around them. It was with this sight that she decided not to go home. Yes, when it comes to lightning there's barely any protection from it in Era. Before the wars the Borak gave them plenty of lightning rods and even a few members to protect the mountain of any harm, but now that that's over, there's practically nothing between Era and the electrical streaks. She glides down. "Hey there's a big storm headed this way, if you two want we could go to the cave and wait for it to pass..." She says before walking towards the cave. At the edge of the forest she stops and glances back if any of them would like to come. This storm seemed like the biggest she had ever seen and leaving any wolves out in it would seem like she was cold and heartless which she was exactly the opposite.
Schemeko sniffs the air. "My, my your quite right a huge, dreadful storm is making its way towards us." Schemeko then looks to Cerise, "My, my your too kind to offer poor little old me a place to stay, amongst you even..." after another pause, "...I guess you just didn't want to hurt my feelings, thats good it's not nice to hurt others feelings." Schemeko chuckled as he went over to Shinobi, "You better accept the offer as well...I hear its quite hard to sniff for blood during a rainstorm." Schemeko chuckled creepily once again as he head towards Cerise, "Lead the way my dear."
Cerise smiles and looks over at Shinobi. "What about you Nobi?" she asks kindly. The rainstorm was getting closer by the second so she was a bit hasty. I mean, yes, the storm was miles away, but the lightning that emitted from it sent shivers down her spine. Even though, on the ground in a tiny storm is almost harmless, if your out on a flat meadow, you would survive, but an Avira was sort of like a lightning rod in some sort of odd way. Cerise had read a book that there was something in the feathers of an Avira... but, they studied that a long time ago. Plus, Cerise liked to read about other packs rather than her own.
Cerise's sensitive ears picked up the howl and immediately she knew who it was and began to get second thoughts with these two. Battle just doesn't like other wolves she guesses. She turns to the two and sighs as the storm gets closer. "Listen you two. The... alpha doesn't really like guests to much so..." she begins to think. A tree like den is far to dangerous, especially in a storm like this... Maybe if there was another rock like den; not like the cave of course, but more like an over pass or something. She concentrates on where the cave is set and then gets a clue. "Ok I might know a place where you two can wait out the storm." she says finally before turning and running towards the woods. She stops and looks back at them waiting to see if they would follow or not.
She stopped and her tail plus ears drooped. Cerise looked up but to her surprise, Battles eyes were fixated on the others and not hers. Unlike the others, Cerise didn't really mind when Battle looked into her eyes. The only thing really personal is her parents and step-parents deaths. She didn't even keep the spirit wolves a secret with her. Cerise had now decided it was the time to go for a straight forward approach. "Well, as you can see there is a huge storm headed this way and I was just going to find these travelers some shelter. Of course its not going to be the cave or a tree den shelter so I decided to look for an over pass or a rock shelter. Do you by any chance know of any around here? If not I could always look..." She says looking at Battle with a smile, and it was all the truth.
Schemeko, surveying the situation notices the skull headgear on the Alva wolf, who just appeared from the deep woods. "My goodness!" He exclaims, "I just have to be the most luckiest wolf in all of Nigerius to see such a diverse gathering of wolves!" "And here I though everyone hated each other." Schemeko chuckles, "Ooh Cerise, my dear, would you mind introducing me to your most intriguing friend here." Schemeko said while giving a toothy grin. Schemeko knows well of the Alva's pack ferocity and power, yet he never could quite understand their preference for peace. "Oh, and I truly hope, that I am not an inconvienece to all of you, " he smiles that shady smile as he speaks, "that is far from my intentions, honest!" He chuckles afterwards.
"OOOOOOOOH!" "And here I thought I had a venomous tongue!" Schemeko gives a loud, cackling laugh. "How...charming...hehehehehe." The Alva wolf was bigger than Schemeko predicted, but he wasn't about to be intimidated nor did he seek conflict with the Alva wolf either, that certainly was not in his best interest. Yet, he can't help but wonder about the Alva Pack's intense bloodlust he heard so much stories about. He would very much like to see it for himself, but Schemeko decided to hold himself back from trying to provoke the Alva wolf, now wasn't the right time.
((OOC: Sorry, I didn't know.))
Cerise listened to them speak and bit her lip. When thje question came up Cerise turned to her. "Last I saw Rakunam he was at the cave. There's a good chance he might still be there." She says. As soon as she said that a couple of raindrops landed on her cheek and one in her ear causing her to shake her head a little. "I guess we could get started on looking for that shelter now huh?" she asked. The lightning was getting closer and it was causing her feathers to stand up a bit whenever a bolt breaks through the skies and it sends a surge through the air which only Avira and Borak are more keen at sensing.
Even though he wasn't quite there to the cave, he could see the large wolf. 'Hm.' he thought to himself. 'I can already tell that one is from the Tenneth pack...how....common...' Schemeko continued in his thoughts as he sniffed the air. 'Hm...just how many more wolves arew gathering here?' He thought as he smelt two other wolves somewhere in the distance. 'I wonder...how can everyone from different packs gather and not attack each other?' 'This is...interesting...hehehe...but its good for me.' 'The more the merrier...maybe I'll have some fun yet.' He chuckles sinisterly to himself. "Oh dear, the rain is starting to come down...we better hurry!" Schemeko said as he approaches the cave.
Cerise almost jumped for joy when she heard Battle say this, but she kept her calm and followed. Once they were at the cave, Cerise walked in and replied first, "Yes, That I am." Cerise said gleefully. The rain started to pour down harder and lightning started flashing through the sky. Cerise whimpered some and walked towards the back of the cave. "I'd hate to be the poor wolf stuck in this storm." It was in another moment where realization hit her. "Nova!" she suddenly blurts out. She then begins to get a little frantic of her friend. "Nova. He was going to his home. I'm pretty sure he got stuck in the storm..." She says very fast. She turns to Battle. "Hey, do you think Nova will be alright?" she asked. Even though Nova wasn't an Avira, the odds of being struck by lightning are almost absolute in a huge storm like this one. Even in a forest, a bolt could hit a tree making a fire or there are even the chances of a twister to happen, though if one of those were to take place, Cerise could handle it.
"Hehehehe." Schemeko chuckled to himself while inside the cave. "My, my, what interesting friends you have Cerise!" He proclaimed. Schemeko lazily shifted his gaze to the Kamarian wolf. "Ah yes...a Kamarian...now that pack certainly is a true marvel." Schemeko said admiringly. "Such dark and twisted feelings, its truly a work of art." Schemeko chuckled. "You know whats funny?" "As much as we try to stay out of the storm, the more wolves are willing to get lost in it!" Schemeko gave a cackling laugh. "Yes, what interesting times we live...to see such a gathering of packs...this almost makes me think that this war is one bad joke." Schemeko laughs again as he sits down in his little corner of the cave. "Ah...but alas, the real bad joke are these feelings you have towards others Cerise...why do you concern yourself with the Asui spy who cares more about his pack?" "Why concern yourself with an Alva that doesn't care about her own well-being?" "Or why concern yourself with a Kamarian who doesn't seem to care about anyone else?" "The whole idea seems pretty ridiculous to me." Schemeko gave chuckle after he spoke. "If you can make some sense out of it then please, elaborate..hehehehe."
Schemeko cackles again, after catching his breath, "Fate?" "Heh, what devotion...it's almost funny." Schemeko noticed the wet, sandy pelted wolf entering the cave. Ooh a newcomer...hm...,Schemeko noticed Nova's attempt to cover his wound, heh...he is injured that might make things easier...hm.. , Schemeko thought to himself. Lets see...we have a kamarian, a tenneth, a alva, and now this new wolf...hm I may have a hunch on who this one is... "My, my Cerise you were not kidding around that you have a nature to liking other wolves!" Schemeko laughs, "They seem to be coming by the hour!" Schemeko said as he gave a grin, I just may have the most fun I've had in a long while...all I need is just to wait for this storm to subside...and then...everyone can play a little game... Schemeko thought to himself as he chuckled.
"OOOOOOH YES CERISE THATS THE SPIRIT!" Schemeko laughs a loud manical laughter. He examines BattleDemon giving to chase as well. "OOOOOOH NOW THIS IS EXCITING!" "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" "Now here I thought Avira's were kind-hearted wolves, HA!" "I knew that was a joke!" "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Schemeko gives a huge grin as he watches BattleDemon nip at Nova from the caves mouth, "YES! GET'EM! GET'EM!" Schemeko shouts with enthusiasm.
Cerise spread her wings and the lightning flared above her but she paid no mind to it as she took off into the sky. "Why don't you guys join!" she calls out before flying after Battle and Nova. She landed on the ground after she caught up to them and began giving chase. In the rain this was quite fun. If only the blinding lightning and deafening thunder would cease.
Hm quite an extravaganza...I don't like this rain...but maybe If I help them...yes...it may make things easier for me when I have them play my game...hehehe...., Schemeko too left the cave and decided to aid them in their game. "HOLD ON MY DEARS I'M ON MY WAAAAYYYY!" Schemeko sang out as he tracked their chase to the best of his ability out in the rain. Hm...this will be difficult since there is no denying that he is Asui...but...I don't want him dead though I want him in my game too...his little display of power interests me. Although Schemeko was participating he kept his distance watching them from afar.
