{ Guys, surely the Out of Character (OOC) chat should be in the Out of Character (OOC) thread? If no one else is gonna start, I'll be happy to. }

The mansion was... Impressive, to say the least. Glancing back at the large, oak doors that the butler had opened and closed behind him, Eli imagined the journey from just the front gates. A long road up a big hill, then a straight drive to the mansion, curving round the impressive water feature and voila! Here it was! The place the eighteen year old would be staying for the next... However many weeks, months and possibly years. The circumstances in which Eli currently found himself were very odd. Only a few days before he had been living in the orphanage, going about his ordinary, day to day business of school, parties and girls, when suddenly this strange man had popped up out of the blue and asked him, and three other orphans, to come live with him. Actually, that wasn't entirely true. The guy who had adopted them hadn't even met them, he had just adopted them!

Shaking his head with a chuckle, Eli sat down on his beaten, ragged suitcase. He didn't even know why he had it, as he didn't have much besides a few t-shirts, two pairs of jeans and a leather jacket, which he was wearing. The only shoes he had were on his feet, worn and beaten black Converse high-tops, as well as a white t-shirt and one of this two pairs of jeans, the ones with rips it, held up by a brown belt with a silver, gaudy skull buckle. The only thing which weren't clothes or toilettries which he owned was his electric guitar, which was wrapped up safely in it's case by his feet. Eli's gaze lingered on it, before he sighed. Glancing around, and seeing no one (the butler had disappeared and asked him to stay there) he slipped a cigarette packet out of his pocket. Looking inside, only a couple were left, making Eli grumble. He didn't have any money to buy anymore, so he decided to save those two for dire craving emergencies and put the packet back in his jacket.

Athena looked up at the mansion. It was a beautiful looking place, and she was happy to see that her new home was close to nature, both a garden and forest were near. She breathed in the cool air, feeling a light wind on her back. She stepped up to the intricate oak doors. She lay a hand on the wood, feeling what likely used to be a part of the nearby clusters of trees. she took another breath and knocked lightly on the door, just hard enough to be heard on the other side. She held the fabric of her white dress with her free hand, rubbing the fabric between her fingers. A light, calm smile resting on her face, slight enough that her lips were only just turned up at the ends. Her green eyes, rimmed with thick blonde lashes, sparkled with the high hopes of what was to come, an optimist as always. she looked back to where the car she had been driven in had once been, though it was now gone. She hoped that someone on the other side of the door would answer. Her bag was light, filled with just one other light dress and some other tools. she didn't need to pack much, as she could make her own clothing.

Mizuki stepped out of the taxi, her small black backpack on her shoulder. She pushed her right pony tail over her shoulder and behind her back, she was really nervous. She bit her lip slightly, a habbit she had gotten when she was younger and got nervous. By now she was at the door of the large mansion, she remembered something about not being the only one adopted, but she hadn't really been paying attention. Her hand fell onto the oak door slightly, barly making a noise. The door opened and she walked in, sitting near the door, waiting to see someone else, not sure what she was supposed to be doing. She took out her cheap mp3 out of her backpack and put in the earbuds, starting to doze off.

No one answered the door, but when another girl came up the door opened on it's own, Athena entered behind her. There was a boy sitting there on his own bag. Athena seen that there was no where to sit in the large foyer besides the floor, so she stood by the entrance. "Hello." she said to no one in particular. she looked around the hall observing the interior of the mansion. The extravagance of the inside matching the outer. she smiled, observing a painting hanging in a golden frame that appeared to be of the garden outside. It looked as though it had been painted in the summer, a series of colors brushed across the canvas. she was grateful she would have a place like the garden nearby for her.It would be something like a sanctuary

Mizuki slowy began to doze off. Her mp3 fell from her hand and her head fell back slightly. She began to dream, the same dream she always had. In the dream she was some sort of god, but she never remembered anything much when she woke up.

When No one replied to her "hello" Athena turned to see that one of the others had fallen asleep. and that only she and the boy were still there. she turned to him, her light smile on her face. "Are you just beginning here as well?" she asked him, her sparkling green eyes meeting his own with a gentle wonder. she placed her hand on a stone on the wall, rubbing the ragged texture with her thumb.
