DEAD (transfered to another RP)

Introduction

The Land of Elenia was once a peacefull world, the different elemental races working together once they set their differences aside to make a better future. Different races even forming friendships and more between other races. Apart from the different elemental races, the Land of Elenia was also seperated into two kingdoms, The Kingdom of Darknes and Kingdom of Light. Despite their differences, they kept a peace between each other. But this time of bonding and peace was coming to an end when a dark threat emerged. One that began once the ruler of the Kingdom of Darkness was assassinated and his son took the throne, bringing about a Dark Age within Elenia.

Under the Rule of King Rune, The Dark Kingdom began a suprise conquest of all Elenia. This suprise move caught the other races off gaurd, allowing him to quickly capture almost half of all of Elenia under his power. By this time, the Kingdom of Light managed to unite the elemental races to create a force to fight back. But the King, Rune, had managed to gain forbbidon power that he had been using to create a military power of dark soilders and generals, being a strong match for even the combined races. The Kingdom of Light was left with one choice, a legend of 6 gems, each kept safe within each race's temples. This legend showed signs of hope, but also of fear, since the legend spoke of a Dark Gem aswell, leading to belive that this gem is the source of power that the Kingdom of Darkness is using to create their army. But thankfully, the Kingdom of Light and the 4 Elemental races have gained their Gems. As they were found, the Gems chose themselves a wielder to use it's powers at it fused into it's new host's body. Now with their "Chosen", the united races plan to make a comeback in this war. But an unexpected event takes place that as one of King Rune's sons leaves his kingdom. The reason was never found out by anyone. Some believe that the prince, cause of what his race has doen so far, is simply wishing to turn against his own father, like Rune before him. But little do they know, the Prince, Ryu, escaped with the Dark Gem, having been chosen by it as the other 5 have done.

Now the biggest question is made. Will the other races trust the Prince of their enemy? Or will they continue their attack on their own without the help of the 6th wielder of the Gems?

World

Elenia has different land terrains to go with the elements of the four races, but during this war, with the Kingdom of Light and Kingdom of Darknss having half control over this land, the world is praticly divided. the side the Kingdom of Light controls has kept it's natural landmarks, while the half the Kingdom of Darkness has gained has turned the land barren. The earth torn, the waters dried, and the plant life dead,; a typical wasteland with dark clouds overhead.

Races

Terrans - The race that bonds with the Earth. They are by far the race with the most in brute strength and power. Living at home in the mountains and rocky terrains, they live off of work like minning, blacksmithing, and other hard labor jobs. They're bodies are slightly rocky-like around their shoulders and legs, and stand much taller then the other races, at an avarage height of 7 ft.

Aquarians - The race that bonds with the Sea. They are a race known for their speed in the water and skills in knowledge. Living at home in the shores and river beds, they live off of working in the water, by fishing and sailing. They also are known to have a large library, being known for their collection of knowledge. They also have fins along the side of their arms and behind their legs, used for swimming. Another thing about their race is that there are more females then males.

Blazians - The Race that bonds with Flames. They are a race known for their pride and fighting strength. Living at home in the dessert regions, they live off of military and marketing buisnesses. A feature they all have though is that their right arm is reptile like, scaled abit, with claws. Also, there are more males then females in their race.

Sorans - The race that bonds with the Sky. They are a race known for their speed and agility. Living at home in the jungle and forest, they live off of hunting, planting, and medication. A feature their body has is a pair of wings on their backs, just big enough for gliding, and smaller, fin like wings on the side of their arms.

Light/Dark Elenian - Both the light and dark races have similarities, but also differences between them. While they both have regular appearances apart from the other races and each control a large kingdom, the light always have light colored eyes and hair, while the dark have black and other dark color hair and eyes.

- I want people that WONT post a few days and then vanish. if something comes up, let me know and we'll work a way to keep going without you.
- Be creative, now Mary Sues, or whatever their called.

Sydo just lifted his head from taking a bite of fish meat when he spotted Ryu walking up from behind Tess and standing next to her as he spoke just when she was about to answer Sydo. “Rivercliff?! I never knew Sir Liadan’s family lived there. I can’t believe they were killed in that nightmare?!” Sydo thought to himself in horror. He then heard Tess explain how her father was on leave at her home. He didn’t want to believe it, but that statement made it seem like Sir Liadan could really be dead. Sydo’s eyes lowered in despair when he listened to what Ryu said about Tess’s true feelings, and then he let out a slight sigh.

“It’s understandable that you feel that way Tess. Sir Liadan was a great man, and I won’t ever forget him.” Sydo said with assurance in his voice. Then he lifted his gaze up to Tess as she spoke, “Thank you, Sydo. Your ear means a lot. I‘m glad I have someone here to remind me of my Father.” She said smiling at him. He noticed her eyes were still slightly puffy from crying. Then he nodded his head and answered, “I suppose as someone who has seen their own father killed by a…” Sydo glanced up at Ryu, and then back at Tess as he finished speaking, “…In battle, I would understand your pain.” he said with resolve. To see one’s parent killed right in front of their eyes, and in such a horrible manner, was a scar that couldn’t be healed, at least not so easily is what Sydo came to believe. Whenever he thought about his father’s death only one thing came to his mind, and that was how good it would feel to get his revenge.

Sydo had begun to silently grit his teeth with anger, but then he turned his head around at the sound of footsteps, and noticed Raiyla standing behind him. Sydo watched her as his head perked up and a sense of hopelessness came over him. He was still unsure of whether, or not, she would be content with being around him, after he spewed fish all over her. Then she moved closer to Sydo and stood directly behind him. Sydo was confused, he didn't understnand. It seemed like she was trying to avoid something. He watched Raiyla with intent as her gaze pinpointed on Ryu. Then she glanced at Sydo with a pleading expression of who Ryu was. Sydo suddenly stood up, acknowledging Raiyla’s arrival, and realizing what the problem was, he began to speak, “Raiyla, this is Prince Ryu of Dark Elenia, and he is the chosen wielder of the gem of darkness. I don’t believe there is any need to worry, though. He has proved himself, and I trust him enough to protect him, just as he did me.” he said with an assuring confidence as he stared into her eyes, and nodded his head once toward her, trying to emphasize that he was speaking the truth. He remembered what he told her about how she was able to clearly perceive these things. Sydo waited for her to respond, hoping she would comply. He knew it might be difficult for her to accept, but Ryu was a chosen one as well, and Sydo owed him for saving his life, anyway.

Marina smiled to herself.
She didn't think they would be worrying about where she and Zet were. If her hunch was correct, Raiyla sent them to get the root so they would deliberately have time to talk. She could probably sense the tension that had been between them.
She turned as he spoke to Ruby, watching as he gave her the commands to study the root. She certainly was well trained, it must have taken years to get her like this. It was pretty impressive. She turned back, continuing to walk back towards the camp, vaguely aware at his question.
Marina thought about his question.
There were many things she wanted to know but she had to start from the beginning. And there was one question that had been bothering her for a while now.
"Well... I suppose my most burning question is why are you here?" She turned to face him as they walked. "You came here voluntarily, you had no obligation. What would make you come? I'm glad that you are here but why? Why this quest?"

Zet thought about her question for a moment. She'd heard his story back with Sydo for the most part, but she did have a point. There was more to his story in that retrospect. She deserved to know. After a minute or so of silence he finally spoke. "Ever since I was young, I was told stories of the knights. How their bravery and strength had saved countless lives, countless time. I strove to be one, despite my clan's past. As I grew up though, it was tough to try and kill the dream. Even after I was nearly killed by the knights, I still wanted to be one of them. I started training at a very young age. It wasn't exactly how normal knights do it, but I thought my unique talents may be able to get me in, even with the Krovi name behind me. On my 18th birthday I tried to join them. Despite testing me and acknowledging my strength, the refused me entry. The told me that scum like my clan would never be accepted. From that point on I thought my dream to be hopeless. However I never stopped training. I trained Ruby, and I trained myself, day in and day out, all for another opportunity. When this war broke out, I thought I'd have another chance. However, I'm not stupid. I knew that they would never accept me this way. That was when I heard the stories of the gem holders."

Zet cracked his back and caught his breath before continuing on. "I realized that you all are supposed to bring an end to this war. Your doing what I strive to do. Save those who cannot save themselves. Not being an army or a anything like that, there was no rules against allowing me to aid you all. So I thought that perhaps I could clear my clan's name by aiding you all. If that was done, maybe I could become a knight, maybe I could make it so my clan no longer has to go through all this torment as I have, and maybe, just maybe I would have a hand in saving people that would have died without me. That's why I am here. Sydo was right, perhaps I am selfish in being here. My intentions are pure though. I want to save people, and help you end this war, even if I have to die doing so. I'm ready for anything." Zet waited a few moments before saying anything else. "Anything else off the top of your head that you wanted to know?"

Remaining behind Sydo she listened when he looked to her and saw her expression, his words rang true in what he said about the Prince. Raiyla's head perked up some and her mouth fell open in a manner that could only read shock, blinking some she looked at Sydo, worry still framed on that lovely face before she was looking at Ryu again. Her eyes fell upon Ryu, she didn't need to look into his eyes to see the truth that lay there, everything was written in his stance, movements and tone. She remained silent for a short time, her hands began shaking some and wavering on her feet she nodded to Sydo. "You speak truth, he is good. But the blood that courses through his veins is tainted, only he can choose in time if he'll remain pure or stain it with evil." She said no more, instead she tucked her wings tightly behind her and turned away, making the few steps to her seat and nearly falling dead weight onto it. With a grunt of discomfort Raiyla hoped Marina and Zet had found the Valerian root, she needed more rest, but she knew that soon they'd have to leave in order to do as they were chosen to do.

Bringing up her legs together tightly she bent at the waist and placed her head on her knees, closing her eyes she to conserve what little energy she had left now in staying awake long enough to make the concoction she'd be drinking. Her hand still contained the berried she'd picked up on the way back. Yawning softly she covered her mouth with her free hand and sighed.

Crim stayed while Raiyla left, he watched the river flowing, after a little bit he walked back to the camp, he listend to the others talking but didn't really bother to join in, instead he just went off to the side and layed on the ground and went to sleep, he thought he might as well sleep as much as he can now because they might be moving for awhile and the others were awake to keep guard of everything.

“I suppose as someone who has seen their own father killed by a…” Tess watched Sydo stare at Ryu. He hesitated and looked back at her before continuing.“…In battle, I would understand your pain.”

Raiyla soon returned, and stood over Ryu, Tess simply watched as she studied the Dark Elenian. Sydo spoke again, and Tess couldn’t help feel comforted by the fact Sydo had seemingly accepted the Prince into the group.
“You speak truth, he is good. But the blood that courses through his veins is tainted, only he can choose in time if he'll remain pure or stain it with evil.”

“You’ll be fine.” Tess said, focusing on the uneaten fish on her plate. She had lost her appetite. “Blood doesn’t define us as people. We all make our own choices.” She understood the weight on Ryu’s shoulders. He was probably used to the gem though. It most likely took extreme willpower to resist its corruption, something Tess found hard to do and still be around people. He did something that took away that awful feeling. She could look at him now, and not feel like she was being stabbed from the inside.

After an awkward silence, in which Tess made eye contact with anything but Ryu she spoke again. “So what’s the situation? What do we do when the others get back?”

Marina listened carefully.
She was quite enchanted by the idea of him following his dream, although she had to confess herself very shocked at the behaviour of the knights. From a young age Aquarians were taught never to judge anyone by their race, their past or their appearance, only by their heart. However it seemed clear now that not all races believed in that concept. But Zet's desire to be a knight was a noble one, he wished to help people and do good. Marina did not believe this longing should be denied just because of his family. And when he spoke of wanting to help them end the war, she couldn't help feel sorry. Why had it taken such a terrible situation for Zet to get what he desired? When this war was over she was going to do all she could to help him get his dream.
She smiled warmly at him.
"You are not selfish in the slightest. I can see that all your motives are truly pure and if nothing else, I know that my people would commend you as a hero for your actions." She said gently, watching him intently.
But before she could think of something else, she realised that they were back at the camp. She would just have to remember to continue this discussion with him later, now that things were going so well.
"Raiyla, we've found what we can but the area is pretty sparse for this particular species." She said, walking over to the Sorian and handing the roots over. When she had her back to the rest of the group she mouthed 'thank you' so that only Raiyla would see. Even though she was sure the Sorian had set her and Zet up so they could talk, it had helped a great deal.

Zet couldn't help but smile as Marina spoke. What she said gave him hope. Not only was it hope to achieve his dreams, but a new found discovery that good and pure people still existed. She was the kindest person he had met after someone knew he was a Krovi. It was nice for a change. So very nice. However before he could even really say much more, they had arrived back at the camp. Zet looked around as Marina delivered the roots. Ruby flew off his shoulder and onto a patch of ground where she could further study the root. She would do so until it she was told otherwise, or became too tired and needed to rest.

They were all finally there. 6 gem holders, Sydo, and himself with Ruby. They were an unconventional group, but maybe, just maybe they could do this. "It seems we're all finally here together. Please allow me to be the first to formally introduce myself to the group. I am Zetiskue Krovi. I am not a gem wielder like most of you are, but I assure you I will be an asset to guarding you all. I am well versed in stealth tactics and I'm not to bad at strategy either, if I do say so for myself. Over there is Ruby, my Hawk. I hope you all will accept both of our assistance." Zet had met most of them, although Crim, Tess, and Ryu he never really introduced himself to. Now that they were finally a group, it was time he did so. Probably would be good for everyone to do.

Ryu listend in as the other's conversation seemed to revolve around him abit until it finally ended with the big question of "What to do next?" Breaking away from his silence, Ryu finally spoke out. "Isn't it obvious? If this war is to end with the least number of innocent deaths, we have to finish it as soon as possible. The sooner we arrive at the border, the sooner we can start pushing my father back." Ryu spoke this in a serious tone, his hands folded infront of his face as he spoke, showing abit of stress to his words as it almost seemed he was forcing them out. He knew that doing this was needed, but deep down, he still feared for what was in that path.

"But we'll need the armies help. Most likely, Karen, the female Dark Elenian that showed up, has already noted my family of all of us being together now. So he'll be directing alot of his forces toward us to crush us before we have a chance." He began to explain, understanding abit of his father's strategy from years of watching.

Reaching over to the ground, Ryu piked up a stick and began to doodle the border line of the war. "Look, let me try to break down the Dark Army's forces." He divideds the Dark Kingdom's half into four. "The army is divived into 4 Divisions. Each one having a General incharge of it. Karen, the one from before, is one of those four. Under the commande of each general, there are 2 Commanders for each Division. Right know, the Commanders should be our targets to break down the army's forces. We're no match for the generals." Finishing up with the breaking up of the army on the floor, he drops the stick down. "If we are to get anywhere close to winning this fight, we have to work on weakening their forces and working our way up in the ladder of commands in the army. Commanders, Generals, my brother and sister who control two generals each, and lastly my father." As he counted down the "targets" with his fingers, he clenched his hand once he finished mentioning his father, a kind of chill going through him. Ryu knew his father's strength, and if he was also "changed" like Thorn was, he may just be to much for them.

Lifting her head slowly she smiled at Marina and took the root from her. "I only need the little that you gathered, I am most thankful to you both," she leaned over and took up a small metal cup and emptying it she stuffed the roots and berries into it, then filled it with water from the water skin she'd received earlier and set it close enough to the fire that the flames would lick the side of the cup and heat the water. After a short time steam flowed from the top of the and the roots soon secreted their essence and mixed with the water to create the concoction she needed. Easing the cup away she let it cool off. The others were speaking while she concentrated upon her task. Drawing out the used roots she sipped at the liquid earnestly, wrinkling her nose to find the berries did little to rid the liquid of its bitter taste. Gritting her teeth she drank the liquid down quickly, swallowing it and coughing a little when she was finished. Covering her mouth she closed her eyes and when she reopened then and looked up she could already tell it was working, she felt her strength regaining. She smiled at Marina and nodded. "It was my pleasure" was all she said and looked once more at the fire, there was much to think about now, what plans the others had made or ideas they'd come up with so turning herself around she faced the others. Her soft eyes roaming over each individual before resting on Tess.

Dugon had eaten the fish, watching Zet and Marina disappear to look for a special herb. He sat close to the fire, enjoying the warmth of it. He noticed Ryu and Tess finally returning to the camp. Raiyla thanked him, which he commented by a nod that could only red 'you're welcome'. Than he slowly began to realize that the fight in the night, the short time to sleep had stressed his body quite a bit. He wasn't so energetic like he had been used to be during his youth. He found that his thought were slowly drifting off, he began to grow tired. As he knew it would take a while till the two returned and the others were save for now, he just closed his eyes for a bit. They would surely do something to catch his attention, should he be needed. To others, he turned into a motionless stature, should they watch him from afar. He fell into a light, dreamless sleep.

After some time, he woke up again, hearing the other speaking about their next steps. He yawned a bit, stretching his arms out, which sounded like stone grinding on other stones, as he moved his shoulders. He looked up to the others, who have gathered around the camp fire. Even the two youngsters have returned, after their time alone in the forest. Dugon wondered how long he was out. Looking up in the sky, he saw that it was indeed quite some time. He turned his head to the others, listening to Ryu's explanations quietly. He indeed agreed with the plan, thought he was surprised to hear that there were only four commanders in the whole army of the Dark Kingdom. How would be assured that the orders are carried out correctly? Ryu had no reason to lie to them, so he was just confused. He had no plan to offer yet, so he just sat there watching the others discuss, while thinking about a plan himself.

Tess sighed loudly as Ryu finished. Things were a lot more complicated than she had anticipated. She noticed Raiyla staring at her, and Tess returned a brief puzzled look, before distracting herself with a small bug that scurried near her hand. Tess pondered their options for a while. They could hide, but how long would that work? Sooner or later the Dark Elenian's would raid every safe spot in the world. Waiting for the enemy wouldn't solve a thing.

As soon as news about Rivercliff broke out, morale would be extremely low amongst the soldiers. Many of them would need a beacon of hope. Tess dreaded when this time would come, but she had the light gem. She had to try her hardest, even if it would kill her inside. This war had to be stopped at all costs.

"We should go to the capital." She finally suggested. "That way our armies and the King can know exactly what happened in Rivercliff and the enemies tactics. Besides, I think people could use the hope. Whats more to raise morale rather than to see the six gem wielders ready to fight the war and protect people? Plus it..., you know, offers the most protection for us. I know it's far away, but right now it's the only option that doesn't get us killed as far as I can see."

Something alerted her to Dugon's being awake and her eyes slipped from Tess to his face as he seemed to awaken from a cat nap. Had he been resting this long? she wondered, she wished she could sleep, but they had things to do. Rising to stand once more she nodded. "I agree. The people will be in a state of fear, we are the gem wielders it is time we do as our duty calls us to do. Along the way I am sure we shall learn more of our powers and how the gems will benefit us. I second Tess' idea to go to the capital." They all had to agree to disagree she supposed and with the group they had, it was a group of opinions. "What is the best way to get to the capital?" she asked. She'd never been and she was interesting in hearing how they'd get there. She inched her way closer to Sydo, if there was something she'd seen in his eyes it reassured her he not only was trustworthy, but the glimmer that was hidden there showed he cared far more than just as someone he'd just met.

Smiling some she kept the blush at bay and pulled her attention back to the group. If she got the chance she'd have to talk to Sydo and learn more about him as well as he learn more about her. Sorians were odd to others, their cultures and beliefs were intriguing to say the least, but could sway someone from being with them unless they were Sorian as well. She'd voiced her opinions on changing the traditions to more practical practices, but the council had bitterly thrown out the idea. When she'd pressed the issue it landed her with an infliction she'd cared not to have and one that would prove problematic in her future. Her hand rose slowly to touch the soft blue lines on her face, these markings were embedded with magic, it was only a matter of time before its affects began. Her eyes slowly lowered to stare at the ground as a memory flashed over her, and a small wave of pain rushed through her skull causing her to gasp for air and clutch her forehead. Wincing some Raiyla turned away from the group to recover.

Sydo let out a slight sigh when Raiyla complied. As he stood there, his eyes followed Raiyla as she seated herself in the spot she was before. He noticed she let out a groan of discomfort. He was sure it was from her exhaustion, and he fought with himself on whether or not to comfort her, but what could he possibly do?

Sydo’s sight shifted over to Tess when she finally asked the question he was sure was on all of their minds. He would’ve said something, but instead he decided to listen to Ryu. The Prince made a good point, but they weren’t in the best position to simply charge in and claim victory over six overly powered Commanders. It was an impossibility right now. “For a Prince, you don’t know much about the realities of war, Ryu. What we saw in Rivercliff isn’t the only the blood we’ll see spilled.” Sydo thought to himself as he focused and pondered on Ryu’s words. Sydo’s body tensed when he heard Ryu mention that woman along with his father. ‘Karen’, he would remember that name.

Sydo turned at the voice of Marina as she handed Raiyla the Valerian root. A sense of relief came over Sydo as he watched Raiyla make the root into a beverage. His eyes narrowed with concern when she winced. He also listened with a bit of amusement, when Zet finally introduced himself. “At least everyone knows now…” Sydo thought to himself as his eyes glazed over.

The young knight’s attention shifted over to Dugon just as the large Terran suddenly began to yawn, and stretch out his arms. Sydo raised his eyebrow in speculation. “Was he…napping?” Sydo thought to himself as he stared at the large man. He was somewhat amazed by the fact that Dugon actually sat and slept there this whole time without making a sound. Sydo would have been resting from exhaustion as well if it was not for his days in the army. A soldier didn’t receive much sleep, and even when they did, they always slept lightly in case of attack. This way of resting had eventually become a natural habit for Sydo.

He listened to Tess as she spoke, and suggested that the group go to the capital. She was right. It was somewhat far away, after all Sydo had just ridden from there himself on Sidian. To walk though, would take longer, and they would need to take a different route to avoid any attention. “Whether or not that woman has notified her masters of the wielders gathering, she only found out about some of them. Thankfully Marina and Raiyla weren’t in the village, so they shouldn’t be known.” Sydo thought to himself. Sydo glanced back at Zet for a moment and finished thinking, “And then there’s him. He may be a good asset to the group, if he can prove himself.” He listened to Tess further as she explained why it was best for them to head there. Sydo crossed his arms, as he debated about what they should do.

Then his focus was interrupted when Raiyla stood and began to speak about going to the capital as well. “You’re right. Both of you.” Sydo said as he glanced back from Raiyla to Tess. “If we go head on into the battlefield, Ryu, then we’ll have no chance. We’ll die the moment we cross the border. It won’t matter what we do, if we’re traveling blind either. We need to re-group at the capital. When we get there we can all get horses, food, and the supplies we’ll need for our journey to the border.” Sydo said when his sight shifted to Ryu. It seemed to him that Ryu was more intent on going to battle than anyone else. Sydo stared at Ryu as he spoke again with a lower tone of voice, “I didn’t think about this before…” Sydo’s glanced over at Raiyla as he remembered what she told him in the tent about how they all had a grudge toward the Dark Elenians. “… But, I suppose each of us has something against the Dark Kingdom. You’re not the only one who wants to end this war, Ryu.” Sydo said after his sight shifted over to Ryu again.

Sydo's attention was drawn back to Raiyla as she spoke. He was surprised to find her standing closer to him than before. "What is the best way to get to the capital?” Raiyla asked. Sydo reached under his garb from behind and took out small standardized map of the land. He unrolled the map and began to look over it. Sydo finally spoke as he glanced over the different areas of the map and pointed to a location, “Well, if we head south, we should exit the forest and head into the fields. There are no roads near there, which means no people, so that should keep us undiscovered.”

He was about to explain more, but he heard and saw Raiyla gasping for air, and holding her forehead. He immediately reached back his hand and stuffed the map back under his garb. He watched her turn, and a slight sense of distress came over him. Sydo finally stepped in front of her and spoke, “Raiyla...look at me. Are you okay?” he asked as he lightly placed his hand on her shoulder. He was actually quite nervous about doing so, and he couldn’t help but realize that her skin was so soft. He then looked into her eyes, and waited for a response.

Zet watched everyone as they seemingly barely cared about his introduction. It was understandable that someone who didn't know the Krovi name wouldn't mind it much, and they did have more important plans to discuss. Zet pretty much just hung back and listened to the others talk. At least it was until they mentioned the capital being the best move next. Zet walked away from the group a bit and walked behind a tree. He sat down against it and just thought there alone. It wasn't as if he couldn't yell out to them, and he was close enough to hear them talk, he just didn't want to be seen right now.

As he sat there with his knees nearly up to his chest, and both his arms draped over them, he was visibly shaking. The capital.... They were right, strategically it was the best move. However Krovi's weren't exactly welcome there. The others probably wouldn't have even guessed, and Sydo probably wouldn't automatically put it together. That was why Zet had walked away. This way his nervousness wasn't shown. There had to be a way he could go with them, he just needed to think.

If he went in as a Krovi, he would likely be arrested or killed on sight. He would probably be in a race with Ryu for who was hated more there. However the Krovi's often adorned their hoods, so their features weren't well know. If he didn't openly wear the Krovi colors and he hid his normal clothing the whole time they were there, it was possible he could pull it off. People didn't need to know he was a Krovi until after the war, but that meant this time he would need to reveal his face to everyone. He wasn't sure he was quite ready for that yet either. Maybe he was out of his league in this whole thing. There was no going back now though. No he promised Marina and everyone else there he would help and he wasn't going back on that now. He couldn't. This next visit especially though, would be complete hell for him.

Marina smiled back at Raiyla before sitting down.
She listened intently as the other spokes, glad that they were finally sorting out their next move.
But as Ryu spoke of leading the armies and taking out the generals, she couldn't help but frown. Something didn't seem right about this plan. Surely it wasn't that simple. What use was the gems in a war? The more she thought about it, the more she felt they were missing something. Anyone who looked at her face could tell that it was troubling her greatly. Thankfully she didn't seem to be the only one with reservations, as soon as she heard Tess talking about heading back to the capital she felt some relief, especially when Raiyla added about finding out more about the gems. At least no one else was supporting the idea of going to war.
Marina turned towards Zet.
She was a little alarmed to see that he was shaking badly, like something was really worrying him.
"Hey, you okay?" She asked gently, taking hold of one of his hands in a comforting manner, looking at him with concerned eyes.

((Sorry this is so short, I'm having a bit of writers block at the moment.))

Calming her nerves she felt Sydo near her, his presence before his hand touched her bare shoulder. Easing her head up to look at him she gave a half smile knowing full well he'd see the lie she wanted to tell him. I'm alright, she thought, but the words wouldn't play on her lips. Instead she sighed softly and before she could stop herself leaned forward and placed her forehead on his shoulder for support. A groan escaped her as she pressed into him as if needing the comforts. "There are things about me that could affect this journey, but I'll make sure if it becomes too much of a problem it'll be taken care of. This mission must succeed" it was all she could muster up to say and although she had her head resting upon Sydo's shoulder she felt right now it was right. He'd sworn himself to protect them therefore she was glad he was here.

She listened off to the side as Marina asked Zet if he was alright and glanced his way, her head still resting on Sydo's shoulder and watched him. Her long hair fell over her shoulder, the thick curly tendrils rested against her shoulder and nearly touched the ground as she sat there. "Sydo....will you promise me that you'll do everything in your power to keep everyone safe, not for me, but for them?" she let her violet eyes rest on the ground below her feet.

Tess listened to her comrades as they agreed what the best course of action would be. She smiled when Raiyla agreed with her, and that was soon followed by support from Sydo.

“What is the best way to the capital?” Raiyla asked.

“Well, if we head south, we should exit the forest and head into the fields. There are no roads near there, which means no people, so that should keep us undiscovered.” Sydo replied as he looked over his map.

“I’d rather stick to the roads.” Tess replied. “It’s quicker. We’ll be able to go into Whiterby and rest for a night, and ever since the soldiers and Knights left us, there’s been an increase of Wilderbeasts. One raided my camp yesterday. We‘d be okay against just one, but if we‘re overwhelmed by a pack of them…” She gave Sydo a slight morbid nod. “But we face the same problem on the roads, I’ll admit. Highway men, bandits, and all other scourge of the earth prey on travellers, especially at nightfall.”

Tess sighed loudly as she grabbed the map off Sydo and let her thoughts race on the best course of action. She traced her finger all the way towards the capital. “And that’s just until we reach Whiterby. There’s still a long way to the capital but we should focus on just the first step. First, the plains of Venustas, Whiterby outpost, and finally Whiterby, of course.”

She was unknowingly not being listened to as Marina spoke to Zet, Crim slept, Sydo was with Raiyla and Dugon drifted on with his thoughts. “It’d be lucky if we made it to the capital in a week…, “ She pondered to herself, completely unaware that everyone else was distracted. “Plus, we should keep a mind on expenses. It’s not exactly like any of us look to be excreting gold anytime soon.” She rolled Sydo’s map up and tossed it towards him. “So when do we leave, Sir?”

Dugon listened to his comrades as they discussed the plan to go to the capital of the Light Kingdom. He had to agree it was the best way to coordinate their actions with the allied army. If they should reach the capital, they could surely would be able to gain some support for their actions. The problem would be that the attention they would attract should they speak with the King, would also inform the Dark Kingdom, that they were in the capital. As they could so easily pass through the border forces, they surely would have no problem to infiltrate the cities in the whole Kingdom. This also meant they could encounter more than the usual bandits on their way, should these spies find out about them. He looked at the map. He didn't have the best orientation above the surface, but it looked rather easy should they be able to stay on the roads. On the other hand, even if they encounter the beast in forests, it could be an alternative. It seemed that Zet had a problem with their actual target being the capital. Maybe it had something to do with that what occurred between him and Sydo, as Dugon was away. Instead of thinking more about the actual matter, Dugon rose from the ground, his massive figure shadowing the other persons at the camp fire from the sun, so it was only the remaining flames of the fire that would illuminate them. He spoke with his rough voice, looking at each of them for a moment.

"We should go as soon as possible in my opinion. Before the Dark Kingdom has the opportunity to send more troops through the borders."

Without a second word Dugon walked towards the tent and pulled his robe out. Maybe Zet would feel better, if he got something to cover his clothes. They seemed to be an obvious style, one that could be recognized on the first or second sight. He pulled his cloth up with one hand. It seemed like the former static, more armor-like, robe turned soft on his touch. It now was more like the soft clothing piece it was before, made of cotton or a similar structure. He took it with him to the place where Zet and Marina were. He tossed the cloth in front of the young man, who seemed like a poor bunch of nervousness right now. The robe would be more than big enough to cover Zet's whole appearance. As he had thrown the robe, he spoke a few... calming words to him.

"Here, my friend. This should keep yourself hidden from any suspicious eyes. If someone would come to close to you in the wrong way, I will help you with that. We will all have to protect each other, if we want to survive, gem wielder or not."

Zet sat there just thinking, not even realizing that his shaking was worsening. There was no way he wanted to denounce his clan and pretend not to be a member of it. If he wanted to do that he would have just done that from the start. No he certainly didn’t want to start that now. There was no other choice though. He’d be no use to the gem wielders dead. He was in like a trance like state, just thinking things over. Along the way he’d need to do a few things, starting with a change of clothes.

He snapped out of it almost instantly when he felt someone grab his hand. He looked at who it was to see Marina. He didn’t wish to worry her, he simply wanted to think things over. “Yes I’m alright Marina. I... I just needed a moment to think. Krovi’s aren’t allowed in the Capital, they think we’d try something to harm the royals. I will need to hide who I am there. I will need a change of clothing, and a think of a decent alias along the way. I just figured alone, I could think better.”

He heard what Tess was saying and made a mental note to mention it after they went back over there. She did make a point with staying at the towns, but Sydo was right in thinking that they should steer clear of the roads. Animals and things were nothing compared to being pretty much sitting ducks using the roads. In the cover of the woods, they would be harder to find. It was important to stay stealthy, now that the Dark Elenians knew that they could overpower quite a few of them, they needed to stay hidden, hone their skills, and work better as a team. They were 8 people and a Hawk, going against a country and it’s super powered army. If they didn’t stay smart, they’d die easily.

As Dugon came over Zet just stared at the man. From the ground, the man seemed even more massive then normal. As he looked over the robe now at his feet, he smiled. That took care of covering his clothing. "Thank you Dugon. It means a lot to me. Kindness isn't something I'm exactly used too..."

Sydo examined Raiyla’s eyes as she looked up at him with a slight smile. Sydo raised his eyebrows with concern, and tilted his head in a condescending manner, as if to show he could tell something was wrong. He waited for Raiyla to speak, as he glanced back at Tess when she suggested the roads instead. Sydo wanted to speak in disproval of that plan, but his attention was captured by Raiyla when she let out a quiet sigh, leaned her head into his shoulder, and let out a soft groan. Sydo was completely stunned. He didn’t know what to do, but he knew nothing else mattered to him for the moment. She was so close, so warm, and so delicate.

He listened to Raiyla as she finally spoke, oblivious to the fact that Tess had stripped him of his map. "There are things about me that could affect this journey, but I'll make sure if it becomes too much of a problem it'll be taken care of. This mission must succeed" Raiyla said in a soft voice. “What do you-“ Sydo began to reply as he slightly shook his head with confusion, but he listened when Raiyla spoke again. "Sydo....will you promise me that you'll do everything in your power to keep everyone safe, not for me, but for them?" Raiyla said. It took a moment for Sydo to respond, and get over the surprise of Raiyla asking him something like that so randomly, “I...I do...I promise you, Raiyla. I promise to protect you, and everyone else. Nothing will harm you. Not while I’m around.” Sydo said as he looked down at the soft curls of her hair. He slid his hand down from her shoulder, and placed it on her forearm.

Sydo reached his left hand back under his garb, reached into a pouch, and pulled out a small object. He clenched his fist, so as to conceal it from Raiyla, or anyone else for that matter, and then with his other hand, he lifted up her arm and postioned it under his. Sydo set the object in Raiyla’s palm. The trinket was short, slender, metal, and hollow with a small slit near the middle. If one were to compare it to anything, then it would be about the size of a finger. He let her examine it for a moment, until he finally spoke. “It’s a whistle. I only use it to call Sidian if we get too far away from each other, and I know it has my name engraved in it, but...” Sydo paused for a second out of slight embarrassment, and then continued, “...I thought, since you’re the chosen of the wind gem, then maybe...you would be able to blow it louder... So, if you ever find yourself in danger then just blow it as loud as you can, and I’ll come for you...and...uhh...any of the others that might be with you too.” Sydo trembled over his last words and let out a nervous sigh. “I know it’s not something you might want, but...just take it for safety purposes.” Sydo said, and then he simply stopped talking, and waited for Raiyla to respond.

Suddenly, Tess began to speak as she tossed Sydo his map. “So when do we leave, Sir?” Tess asked. Sydo quickly jerked his hand up and caught the map. “Leave? Oh right.” Sydo responded shaking his head, as his thoughts re-gathered in the present moment. “Wait...How did you-?” Sydo was about to confront Tess on taking his map, but then he looked toward Dugon, and watched the large man stand up. "We should go as soon as possible in my opinion. Before the Dark Kingdom has the opportunity to send more troops through the borders." Said Dugon, before he walked over toward the tent.

Then Sydo looked to Ryu and spoke. “I know you have objections of your own, Ryu, but this is the best way for us to survive for now. Actually speaking of survival, I don’t think you’ll be able to walk around the Capitol without your hood up. You may even need a change of clothes too, but that may not be a problem.” Sydo said with a slight grin.

Ryu was abit disapointed with everyone going against his suggestion as he finally gave up. Getting up from next to the fire, he then looks at the others as they talk about heading to the capital. "Sure the capital would work perfect. Let's a group that also has a Dark Elenian just stroll on in there. I'm sure they'll just let us inside." He says sarcasticly, pointing out the one big flaw in their idea. There was no way the Kingdom of the Light Elenians would allow a Dark Elenina to even set foot inside their capital. He wasn't sure if any idee would even get him into that place.

Crim opened his eyes and sat up, he caught the last of what someone was saying about heading to the capital of the light elenians, he quickly deducted that Ryu would be in a bad situation and so he thought of something that allowed him to escape his country easily, "Hey Ryu, you don't want people to realise your a dark elenian, right? well there is a simple solution to that" Crim said pulling out some bandages which he used on his arm, this made people think he was just injured, if they wrapped up Ryu's face then they could pretend he got caught in a horrible fire or something like that and no one would bat an eyelid, well besides feeling sorry for him but that didn't matter too much, Crim would probably have to wrap himself up as well because news always got around and he didn't want the chance of being put in jail for him being a 'traitor' and all.

Raiyla was pleased to hear that he agreed to protect them, including herself. but when Sydo reached into a pouch he had tucked away and pulled something out. Her eyes watched his hand before he brought that hand to her own and set something into her palm. Her eyes searched his face before looking at her palm to see the small whistle he'd placed there. Her eyes widened in shock as he began speaking and telling her that as long as she blew this he'd be there. A smile graced her face and she hugged him. "Thank you Sydo i shall treasure it" pulling back she reached up to her hair and undid the string she had holding her hair back and slid it free, then slipped the string through a small hole at the end and tied it about her neck. "I shall keep it until our mission is completed." she leaned over and pecked his cheek softly.

Rising she brushed her hair back so that it rested in between her shoulder blades which in turn had it resting behind her wings. Noticing now that everyone was giving suggestions on where to go and what to do. thinking some on what Crim had to say Raiyla struck up her own ideas, not really sure if they'd sound good. "Perhaps something a little less noticeable on the disguise," she remarked and offered up her solution. "A little bit of gold dust mixed with water would make a type of mask for his hair, then perhaps a facial marking to throw off his facial appearance."she walked up to Ryu and nodded. "I could do this if you wish it, and it wont take long either." her violet eyes roamed over him a moment and nodded. "It is an easy fix and would be more discreet." Stepping back she found herself once more near Sydo, her arms crossed awaiting to see what Ryu would say. If he chose the wrappings she'd comply, after all it was his choice. She suddenly felt the wind pick up and lifted her face to the sky, inhaling deeply and frowned. "We'd better think of something soon, I smell rain in the air."

Marina watched him carefully.
He had a point, from what she had heard people didn't trust the Krovi's very well. Clearly her people were more trusting than others. But still, if they explained he was with them surely no one would object to him coming into the capital.
Her eyes widened slightly when he said he thought he'd think better alone, he seemed more used to being alone than with people. She never realised how hard it could be for some tribes and races out there, her people were so kind and understanding but they hardly ever ventured outside their own home. She intended to change that, as soon as this was over she was going to get her people out of her village and out into the world.
She smiled as Dugon brought over the cloak before turning back to Zet.
"You'd better better get used to it then, you're among friends now." She said softly, smiling gently at him.
Marina looked up as Ryu spoke about his appearance.
Surely people would understand him being with them? Even if it took more explaining for Zet, surely the knew that for the six gems to be united, a dark elenian was needed.
She turned towards Raiyla as she spoke.
"Rain at the start of a journey is a good omen." She said softly, her voice barely audible unless you were close by.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Look dude I don't think anyone is exactly mad at you directly, but rather the actions you took. Like Superfly said, you told us that you weren't coming back, and if you remember I even asked if you were sure you couldn't stay, and you still said you couldn't. So, really you have to admit, for you to tell us you are indeed staying, though you still can't post, but you want us to continue anyway...well that's just unreasonable. And Superfly is right actually, Magix and I did take alot of time to set up the new RP to make everything work out smoothly in the story.

I personally don't really have a problem with you joining the new one and coming back when, or if you have more time, and I don't think anyone else does either, because like I said we were all just kind of irritated that you did what you did. If you want to come back as Ryu, then you have to know if you really do have time, otherwise it would be a bit pointless and things would just turn out liike before, when you got three days behind.

I respect the fact that you started this RP and such, but once you can't handle it, then it's as simple as that, you just can't handle it, and there's no problem with that if you respect the fact that everyone else wants to go on. So, we're going to go on and develop this awesome RP you started, and hopefully make it bigger and better. And there's no need to worry, we'll make sure to give credit where credit's due. You can join us if you want and still have a significant position in the RP as just a normal Ryu without the gem, or you can not join us, and that's fine too.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Not really. I don't mean to sound like a bitch, but are you fickle? One minute you're saying how you can't post, but you've done nothing but that the last couple of days. Have you more time than you let on and are just trying to prevent us from moving on with the plot?

Now, after saying you were leaving, Crow and Magix have said they'll make the new rp, and probably spent the full day planning out how to do it, and now you say you want back in and still want to be GM even though you won't be here? I mean make up your mind. How are we to know once we get the plot moving that you won't pull this again?

I'm sorry if this offends you, really, I am. But this has been made all sorts of complicated because of you. You can't just say "I'm taking a break, when the plot goes to where I want it to I'll come back."

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

...ok..I "might" have taken a step to far in my time schedual clearing....>>

If you guys are still not all pissed off. I could just take a break from the RP for abit, having Ryu be taken by his family to contiue using the gem he now has within him, and then once the rest get close to teh border, I'll come back. That way I have time to organize myself abit...and not have to leave a well set up RP..

that sounds ok?

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Alright so it's decided then. Magix will be the new GM, and I'll be Co-GM, but really this is gonna be a group effort all the way through, so any ideas or plot twists or anything you guys wanna add, then lay'em out in the OOC, or you can just send PM if you want people to be surprised. Anyway, I'm sure no instruction is needed. XD

Oh and yeah, I agree with Superfly's words of wisdom, too. ;D

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Of course, and I agree with that. We need to get rid of Ryu anyway so we'll have some time to find someone new.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

How about we let the new person decide? It is their character afterall. If they're going to join, they should at least get a say of how they start. After having an idea of the story, of course. :P

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Hmm My head poses the question on does it need to be another Dark Elenian to get the gem? If not then the person who wants the job really can use more of a story that they would see fit. Maybe it's just me, but I find it kind of poetic in a sense if the Dark Gem consumes a Dark Elenian to be tamed by a light Elenian.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

I agree with everything said above. I wouldn't mind at all if you decided to stay, and we just kept going.

Magix wrote:I dunno I wouldn't say it was "wrong", it just doesn't seem to click in my head.

I don't see why anyone not wanting to fight in the war (a "good" guy) would be there to get captured. I don't really see why the Light Elenians would even take a PoW since the Dark Elenians are such evil douchebags, and if they were to, why take just one? And on top of all that, why hand him over; since he would be thought of as dangerous and evil; to the Gem wielders on whose backs the outcome of the war lies? That seems dangerous to me.

Maybe I'm over thinking things but it just doesn't seem to click for me.

lol Well c'mon man think about it. The character could just be some civilian, or rather a soldier that just didn't agree with his country, you know like Ryu (excluding the royalty thing of course). Maybe the reason for them taking one would be because he surrendered or maybe even helped the Light Elenians somehow, but they just didn't trust him, and instead they took him prisoner to question him for information or something. Hmm lets see why would they hand him over...? Oh I know! They hand him over because they are low on forces, and Sydo is the only one available to take him. Sydo is requested, or rather ordered, to take him to the border and back into his own country. I say this with the assumption that the Light Elenians are "nice guys", and the King wouldn't have the gall to order him killed, so instead they dump him off at the border, where his countrymen would eitehr kill him or...well I can't think of why they would let him live, due to how evil they are. lol

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

We haven't marked you as an enemy, in fact I'm sure we'd all be happy to have you stay. You clearly said that your leaving though, and we'd just like to keep going with the rp. I'm sure we bare no Ill will towards you, and I would hope you didn't bare any against us for just wanting to continue.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Not as an enemy. It was your choice to leave, no one else. We only had a problem when you said we couldn't carry off from where we left off, which was an insult to us, who put so much time into the story.

Now, you're welcome back anytime you want to. I don't want to kill your character off. Just don't spoil the fun for others, please :)

SHesh, it was a good RP, but looks like the one flaw was not having control over it. >>

Fine do what you want. Aparantly once I annouced me leaving I was marked as an enemy -_-

cya then, it was fun while it lasted.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Yeah dude, that wouldn't exactly be fair to anyone. I mean when you said you were leaving, and let us "have" the idea, you pretty much cut yourself out of the cake, if you know what I mean.

Some of us were just thinking of ways of how to let your character still hold the possibility of coming into play if you ever wanted to join us, and when I PMed you, I thought since it was your character after all, then you could just provide your own idea of what to do with him. But, if you don't care what happens to him, then we'll think of something. I think most of us have come to the conclusion that Ryu either disappears, or he dies.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

We have so much invested in this already to start all over again. We'll start a new thread so we can continue and control it, but there's no reason we can't save all we did already either.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

A complete restart? That would kinda spoil the last few weeks of character development we did.

We'll set up a different thread, but I'm not starting again. I don't think that's really your decision at this point.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

I think your all taking the decision comletely differnt. I ment that this RP will die and you guys can take the plot and story of it to restart a new one. Mainly cause if I stop working on this one, then the only person in control of the RP is gone. You all will have to set up a new one....

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

I dunno I wouldn't say it was "wrong", it just doesn't seem to click in my head.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Well a third of those posts are just our characters talking to each other, so really all the intro could be is just a summary of what's happened so far. The only key points are the destruction of Rivercliff village, the battle with Thorn, and um well I guess maybe the suspected rivalry between Zet and Sydo. (don't really know if that would count as a plot point, but it is something that will go on through out the story) As well as the overall story.

Well tell me what doesn't fit about having the PoW, and I'll try to tweak it. But, the point I was trying to make was that a prisoner of war would be good as child, a teenager, or an adult, and that type of character would be in almost the exact same "social" position, if you will, as Ryu was in the start. That was the only reason I picked that scenario of a character. But, just tell me what you don't like about it.

I have another idea that may be okay, but I'm kind of etchy on it. You know how in the beginning Sydo went to an "out-of-the-way" bar, and the bar-keeper turned out to be his uncle/informant? Well what if Sydo visited there to ask about some information, and his uncle informed him of some enigmatic Dark Elenian that had been roaming around (past this point the character could be roaming around anywhere, I just chose the Capitol, because that's where our characters are heading at the moment) the Capitol or something. Ugh.. I don't know. That's kind of a start on something, but I picked the prisoner thing because it would give more freedom to whoever played the character. That's really what I had in mind.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems

Hmm, I was with you the whole way Mr Crow up until the gem went to a prisoner of war. Not that it's not a good idea, I just can't wrap my mind around that fitting, if I'm making sense. Of course Zet will be lonely for a little while outside, but once Ryu disappears I would have him sneak into the capitol, just wanted to point that out. So yeah it just seems like the whole PoW thing doesn't fit in my head, I suppose it could just be me though.

Also I'm not sure how many more people we're gonna get, I mean it's a general thing that people don't wanna join an rp past a certain point because of what they'll have to read up on (ex- The 200 posts we already have). So chances are, one of us will have to make the new Dark Gem wielder anyway.

I dunno, not really sure this post was helpful, I just felt I'd throw my two cents in (again).

(PS) I'm now working 11 hour shifts, so I know how you feel, Oblivian. Sorry to see you go, but an RP that moves too slow is one destined to die. I'm glad that everyone is pretty active. I hope there's a way we can write out your character without having to do anything drastic.

Anyhoo, my idea is this.To add a bit of mystery to the plot, Ryu should go missing. The next night, after we wake up All that's left of Ryu is the Dark Gem that attaches itself to Zet or Sydo.

That sort of solves the problem, and if Oblivian wishes to come back we haven't done anything drastic to his character.

Wouldn't that kind of defeat their purpose though? Zet already has his Krovi powers, and Sydo is there guard them, so he'd basically be a walking contradiction.

I don't know... I understand that would seem like the simplest way, but it doesn't seem like it would fit. Besides if we have a spot opening, then we get a new character to play with. That's always fun, right? :D

Okay so here's my idea, and you guys can deny or accept it, as I was just stating my opinion above, so anyway here it is: We set it to where everyone, except Ryu and Zet, is in the Capitol. The reason for both of them being outside the Capitol, is because I was thinking that Sydo left Zet in charge of guarding Ryu, but unbeknownst to Zet, Ryu is enveloped by the dark gem, and he disappears, only leaving the dark gem behind. Zet finds the dark gem when searching for Ryu, but he doesn't get chosen by it. (whether or not Zet goes searching for Ryuband finds the gem, is optional, of course, since the group could just go search for him instead.) This way when the group gets back, Sydo will be mad at Zet, and there begins the "rivalry" we had planned. (The only reason I want to involve going or being in the Capitol is because we put so much effort into our characters actually deciding what to do, and I think it would be a waste to do something else.) Okay, now here's where I thnk everything fits. Once the group goes through the process of walking about the town and everything, they finally enter the castle. While speaking to the King (which we'll have to think up a name for either way), Sydo is asked to transfer a Dark Elenian prisoner of war. What's so good about a prisoner of war you ask? Well he can know almost as much as Ryu did, or know nothing at all. He can be whatever age, and all-in-all he would be in the same position Ryu was from the beginning. A prisoner of war just has so many possibilities, but the only catch is that he would have to be a good guy, and just captured on the battlefield for whatever reason the player wants him to be captured. Now when the group meets up again outside of the Capitol, and Zet reveals that Ryu is gone, with only the gem to prove it. Somewhere along the line the gem chooses the Dark Elenian prisoner of war that the group is transferring.

So, what do you guys think?

(And as for what happened after the group left the camp and stuff, well I think we can all take the liberty of assuming that some fill of memories happened along the way. This would make the disappearance of Ryu all the more "sad" or whatever. Maybe, unless you know, they were bad memories. lol)
