Introduction
The Land of Elenia was once a peacefull world, the different elemental races working together once they set their differences aside to make a better future. Different races even forming friendships and more between other races. Apart from the different elemental races, the Land of Elenia was also seperated into two kingdoms, The Kingdom of Darknes and Kingdom of Light. Despite their differences, they kept a peace between each other. But this time of bonding and peace was coming to an end when a dark threat emerged. One that began once the ruler of the Kingdom of Darkness was assassinated and his son took the throne, bringing about a Dark Age within Elenia.
Under the Rule of King Rune, The Dark Kingdom began a suprise conquest of all Elenia. This suprise move caught the other races off gaurd, allowing him to quickly capture almost half of all of Elenia under his power. By this time, the Kingdom of Light managed to unite the elemental races to create a force to fight back. But the King, Rune, had managed to gain forbbidon power that he had been using to create a military power of dark soilders and generals, being a strong match for even the combined races. The Kingdom of Light was left with one choice, a legend of 6 gems, each kept safe within each race's temples. This legend showed signs of hope, but also of fear, since the legend spoke of a Dark Gem aswell, leading to belive that this gem is the source of power that the Kingdom of Darkness is using to create their army. But thankfully, the Kingdom of Light and the 4 Elemental races have gained their Gems. As they were found, the Gems chose themselves a wielder to use it's powers at it fused into it's new host's body. Now with their "Chosen", the united races plan to make a comeback in this war. But an unexpected event takes place that as one of King Rune's sons leaves his kingdom. The reason was never found out by anyone. Some believe that the prince, cause of what his race has doen so far, is simply wishing to turn against his own father, like Rune before him. But little do they know, the Prince, Ryu, escaped with the Dark Gem, having been chosen by it as the other 5 have done.
Now the biggest question is made. Will the other races trust the Prince of their enemy? Or will they continue their attack on their own without the help of the 6th wielder of the Gems?
World
Elenia has different land terrains to go with the elements of the four races, but during this war, with the Kingdom of Light and Kingdom of Darknss having half control over this land, the world is praticly divided. the side the Kingdom of Light controls has kept it's natural landmarks, while the half the Kingdom of Darkness has gained has turned the land barren. The earth torn, the waters dried, and the plant life dead,; a typical wasteland with dark clouds overhead.
Races
Terrans - The race that bonds with the Earth. They are by far the race with the most in brute strength and power. Living at home in the mountains and rocky terrains, they live off of work like minning, blacksmithing, and other hard labor jobs. They're bodies are slightly rocky-like around their shoulders and legs, and stand much taller then the other races, at an avarage height of 7 ft.
Aquarians - The race that bonds with the Sea. They are a race known for their speed in the water and skills in knowledge. Living at home in the shores and river beds, they live off of working in the water, by fishing and sailing. They also are known to have a large library, being known for their collection of knowledge. They also have fins along the side of their arms and behind their legs, used for swimming. Another thing about their race is that there are more females then males.
Blazians - The Race that bonds with Flames. They are a race known for their pride and fighting strength. Living at home in the dessert regions, they live off of military and marketing buisnesses. A feature they all have though is that their right arm is reptile like, scaled abit, with claws. Also, there are more males then females in their race.
Sorans - The race that bonds with the Sky. They are a race known for their speed and agility. Living at home in the jungle and forest, they live off of hunting, planting, and medication. A feature their body has is a pair of wings on their backs, just big enough for gliding, and smaller, fin like wings on the side of their arms.
Light/Dark Elenian - Both the light and dark races have similarities, but also differences between them. While they both have regular appearances apart from the other races and each control a large kingdom, the light always have light colored eyes and hair, while the dark have black and other dark color hair and eyes.

OOC Notes
The land of Elenia, torn apart by the war, was in a state of chaos. The most deadliest place being in the border, where non stop war takes place between the United Races and the Kingdom of Darkness. But the real events take place away from the border, several miles away, where 6 chosen are led by a mysterious force to gather in one spot. But this gathering depends mainly on how they will react in meeting each other. Six different races, six different people, each from different life styles and worlds.
--------------
Down an empty dirt road within the region under the rule of the Light Kingdom, a figure wearing a black hooded cloak walks down the path, hiding his appearance from anyone that might pass by him. Walking along, he turns to look to the side, where the edge of a forest stood next to the path. He had been senseing something following close, a familiar dark sense back from his home.
"Did a force manage to follow after I passed the border?" The young man thinks to himself as he continue to walk along, follwing a different sense that had been leading him from his home into this region. Deep down, he felt he had to found where this sensation was coming from to set things right.
((not alot down, but enough to get thigns going. once others are on, I'll have more to work with ^^; ))

Marina made her way down the path, shivering slightly as she pulled her cloak closer around her shoulders.
Her head told her she was completely lost, but something else told her she was on the right track. She didn't know what to listen to but it was pointless going back now, she wouldn't be able to get home.
Sighing slightly, she stopped a moment to try and get her bearings. It didn't help that she was far away from any kind of water, that always made her uncomfortable. Then again, this was her first time away from home. She knew this quest was important but... truth be told, Marina still felt like a kid. She was sure that the other gem holders would be much older and more experienced, she had only just left school. What use could she be?
She froze slightly, thinking she'd heard something.
But as she looked around, she couldn't see anyone.
"Who's there?" She called out, her hand going to the whip at her waist instinctively.

The beast dashed madly through the forest, as the warrior followed. Her footsteps quickly dashed across the forest floor, but gently, leaving little trail or sound to her notice. The beast could sense her, it feared her. The primal urges forced such a monster to retreat before it even took a glane at its opponent.
The warrior closed in, as a river and a cliff waited at the end of their path. The beast knew this too, it slowed and turned, having no other choice to fight. It was in its nature. To fight or die, it didn’t have a choice. The warrior could sense its need for survival, it longed for life, even without a true purpose.
The beast shrieked at her fiercely, cornered, but not out of options. The warrior held her ground, staring down the creature as it hissed at her, attempting to demoralize her with its haunting screams. Without warning, the beast lunged at the warrior with all fours. The warrior parried its sharp teeth with her blade, keeping pressure on her knees to withstand the weight of the monster.
Blood spurred from the creatures mouth as the sword pressed deeper against its jaw. The warrior pushed it backwards, raising her right hand and igniting it in a bright light. Her hand hovered over the beasts face. The beast let out a slight muffle, as it panicked and became disoriented.
She smiled. The sword was removed from the beasts mouth, and the warrior quickly pressed the blade between the monsters eyes. A final shriek was let out as she pierced its skull. The beast stumbled on its hind legs, and in a split second lost its balance on the cliff and fell into the strong current bellow.
Tess wiped her blade with a small cloth, cleaning it from the dark red blood. She put the sharp sword back in its holster and turned after seeing a pool of red blood mix with the water below. The creature was lifeless as its body smashed against the rocks.
Her eyes watched it for several moments. Never leaving the thought of how long it would take to drown. If she would feel anything once her body hit the sharp rocks below. A sharp gust of wind, and a flock of birds at the opposite side of the river snapped her back into focus. A moment of silence, and she turned quietly with her hand grasping the hilt of her blade. Not today.

Marina shook her head.
It must have just been the wind.
"Pull yourself together Marina, you're away from home barely a day and you already feel paranoid."
She sighed, making her way through the forest again. The sensation she was following appeared to be getting stronger, maybe there was another gem holder nearby. With this new determination, she moved a bit faster, trying to track it down.
Then... forget a gem holder, Marina could sense a river nearby. She could follow the trail more easily by swimming than she could when walking.
It didn't take her long to find it, and soon Marina stood at the edge, staring down at the water.
For a long time she was just seriously tempted to dive in and just let the current take her but there was no time for that, she had a job to do. Taking off her cloak and laying down on the ground, she stepped back slightly as she prepared to dive...
Then she saw the body.
The mangled, bloody body of a creature. She froze as she saw the blood spread through the water, then she looked up.
Someone was there... a gem holder!
"Hey!" She called out, hoping the woman would recognise her as quickly as she had done.

Crim wondered through the forest eating some meat, only just a moment he had been close to starvation when some creature had attacked him, he killed it and cooked it up, it tasted pretty good. He continued to walk for awhile before hearing the rushing of a river, he guessed he should head over there, following a river was always better than stumbling through the woods with no direction, as he came to the river he heard someone call out 'hey' so he quickly looked around to see who had spoken and saw a female aquarian, she seemed to have called out to a light elenian who was at the top of a cliff, he then noticed a creature identicle to the one he had been eating in the water, from the looks of it it had fallen into the river which meant the light elenian had killed it and let it drop into the river, he suddenly got a sensation which said to him that these two were gem holders.

The wind carried a voice which caught her by surprise. At first she thought it was the crashing of water against the razor sharp rocks, but when she looked over the cliff she saw a girl. Tess assumed she was a simple traveler, with the same old story as the ones before. She had heard of Tess' kind selfless nature. "The woman that gave up her free time and relationships with her family to cleanse dying people and give them their last wishes." She knew where this scene went, and the warrior was tired of it.
She looked at the girl for a few seconds, thanking the large river and steep cliff that separated them. Tess turned, leaving the girls sight and walked back into the cover of the forest. She would lose about an hours sleep over her choice, but if she wanted to help everyone she wouldn't have left home.
Minutes passed until she stumbled back into her camp. A poorly made tent stood beside a small smoking fire and one large log. It was a self-made camp that had seen better days. She had survived out here for two months. Every morning she walked to the river and got water, sometimes she fished, other days she checked the traps she set around her camp for any other meat. Even though she was apart from the rest of civilization, she still communicated with her father who sent her a letter every 2 days to make sure she was still okay.
Tess entered her tent, and collapsed on a small blanket. She pressed her head against the pillow and shut her eyes tight. She listened intensely to the sounds outside her tent. The whistling of wind, the chirping of birds, the sound of crickets..., anything that didn't resemble the city life.

After traveling for awhile longer down the dirt road, Ryu heard the sound of someone calling out from the woods nearby. He looked in it's direction for abit, wondering who it was from. "Hmmm...a Dark Elenian wouldn't call out like that in enemy territory. Which would only leave it being someone from around here...." That's when it suddenly hit him, the sense he was feeling was actually coming from that direction aswell. "Could it be?..." He thought as he began to head into the woods, trying to find the source of the voice he heard.
It was awhile later that Ryu stoped at a clearing in the woods as took a breather. "...Why did I just walk into a forest I've never even been to?" Realizing just how stupid that desicion was in the end. Taking another breath as he then began to walk once again, only to trip on a root of a tree stiking out of the ground, stumbling alittle into yet another clearing. THis one however wasn't natural, having a tent and smoking fire in the center. His hood still covering his face, he looks around, wondering if there was anyone at all. Stepping closer to the smoking fire, he kneels down to it, seeing that it wasn't long since it turned off, meaning that there was infact someone staying here, or was till not to long ago.

Tess almost had drifted off until she began to feel something terrible. She became nauseas, and her chest tightened. She had never sensed anything this utterly terrible before. She grabbed her sword immediately, holding it firmly. Her mind raced, and she began to feel fear. She could hear movement from outside the tent.
Something terrible had entered her camp. She counted down slowly from ten in her head. Her chest began to tighten even more as the countdown neared its end, and she quietly prodded the tent open with her sword and peaked at the hooded figure who was currently investigating the recently extinguished flame. She stepped out of the tent silently, and her sword was inches away from the intruders back. She pressedthe sharp blade against his lower-back quickly.
"Raise your hands. Then turn around slowly and explain to me why you're intruding in my campsite..." She ordered calmly. "Try anything, and you will have little time to regret it."

Feeling the blade against him, he knew he had little choices but to follow the words of the peson that spoke behind him. Raising his hands, he turns around at looks at the young women that had him in place as he noticed one thing that was troublesome, she was a Light Elenian. "Of all the races to run into.", he thought as he took a deep breath before speaking out.
"FOrgive me, I was passing through and noticed a camp set up here. I didn't mean to cause any trouble." He tells her with a calm tone of voice, to help her tell he was telling the truth. But before he could get a reaction, he quickly looked to the side, sensing trouble nearby. The dark sense he was feeling since he entered the Light Kingdom was getting stronger. They had caught up. Spotting a swarm of arrows bursting from the bushes, Ryu quickly reacted by shoving the girl down with him to the floor as he turned abit, shoving his arm to her back to push her down. Just in time as the swarm of arrows dart over them and cover the trees and grounds.
Looking up where the attack came from, he saw the source as a small group of Dark Elenians walked into the camp site, blades and bows pointing at them both. One stood out above the rest, wearing a cloth that covered half his face and claw like weapons on his arms. He had long black hair, made into strands with spikes on each end, wearing a ninja type outfit with claw like boots aswell. "Well well well, as quick thinking as ever. But I'm suprised you would save a Light Elenian of all things. You suprise me more and more, Ryu."
Ryu slowly got on his feet, glaring the man down from under his hood. "...Thorn...I thought it would be you."

The young knight's footsteps echoed as he exited through the gates of the castle entrance. When the gate guards saw the man, they immediately straightened up, and greeted him with a salute, but he simply ignored them, and casually walked by. He was too lost in his thoughts to pay attention to them. He had been wondering how to find the chosen ones. Word had spread throughout the Light kingdom about a girl who had been chosen by the gem of Light, but it is also said that she hid away somewhere.
The young knight kept walking on, until he reached the town square just outside the castle walls. It was a bustling area, made up of several different markets. He made his way through the thin crowds of people, and slipped into an alley. He entered through the entrance of a small drinking lounge. It was dimly lighted, and suspicious characters often passed by if they needed to discuss their plans with another, but this young knight usually visited there to gather information from the barman. He walked in and took a seat at the bar where he was happily greeted by a fat, hairy man, with a thick gray mustache. "Sydo, my boy! How goes it with you these days? Is there anything I can get you, or would you like your usual?" said the barman with a loud voice, as he completely disregarded Sydo's new appearance and title, as usual. Everyone else seemed to keep themselves in this place. Sydo replied back to the barman with a calm expression, "C'mon old man, you know I don't drink anymore, but there are times when I wouldn't mind indulging myself every once-in-a-while, not this time though." He leaned in closer toward the edge of the bar as his voice turned down to a whisper, "I came here for some information on the chosen ones. Have you heard such talk, lately?" The barman had begun to wipe down a glass when Sydo asked this, but his hands immediately stopped, and his eyes cautiously glanced around to make sure no one was listening, he then replied in a whisper, "You do understand how sensitive this subject is, Sydo?" Without responding, Sydo slipped over four gold coins toward the man. The barman glanced down at the shining coins with hesitation as he set his elbows and large arms on the edge of the bar in front of Sydo, and leaned over and whispered, "I have indeed heard of such talk, my boy. Just last month, I heard about a girl who had the ability to somehow heal, and cleanse others' thoughts. They say it was as if all the sadness and cruelty in their minds had disappeared, but when the dear lass completes this task, it somehow phases her, and she hides herself away in the forest. Nobody knows why she leaves like she does. I personally think it’s because she doesn't want all the attention. If I know one thing, atten-" Sydo, still slightly whispering, interrupted him with irritation, "Try to stay on the ball, old man." Then the man glanced over his customers again and replied, "You know, if you want to know anymore, then I better see a few more pieces-", but before he could finish, Sydo had thrown down three more gold coins. The barman's eyes widened at this site as he quickly glanced up and down several times at Sydo and the gold in an almost amusing fashion. He quickly pulled himself together and replied, "So as I was saying, this young woman hides away in Rivercliff Forest. She is also rumored to be the daughter of a knight, so perhaps you may have come upon her father. Dear lord Sydo, wouldn't that be a grand laugh if all this time she was right under your-" Sydo, quickly interrupted him with the sound of another gold coin sliding across the wood. The old barman continued on, "Oh, right, well that's all I know, my boy." Then, just before Sydo could retrieve his one extra coin, the barman quickly snatched up all nine of them, and proudly declared, "You gotta be quick on your feet..." Then he turned around to clean another glass with a solemn smile across his face as he continued his statement, "....young nephew."
Sydo had quickly left his uncle's place, and headed out of the inner kingdom and into Rivercliff, which was only a few hours away on horse, and thus he rode on the dirt path near the forest, which circled over, and around a river, and lead to a small village. He was finally nearing the top half of the forest, and getting closer to the village. He could feel the cool evening air blowing against him as his horse's hooves beat against the moist dirt. This rhythm was relaxing to Sydo, until suddenly the horse was spooked by a shocking yell coming from the river! It loudly echoed throughout the trees. The horse reared, and almost threw Sydo off, but he was able to keep hold of the reign as he slowly calmed the animal down with his voice, "Shh! Hush, Sidian." It let out what seemed like an annoyed snort toward Sydo. Nightfall was quickly underway and Sydo didn't have time to travel all the way back down to the river, so he decided to go to the cliff to look over it, instead. These two landmarks were what gave this place the name, Rivercliff. Sydo had heard about how the beasts hunted in this forest had some of the best flavored meats.
He directed his horse toward the edge of the forest, and with caution, it slowly trotted through. The moonlight shined bright through the trees, and the gleaming stars covered a clear sky. Sydo, suddenly halted his horse when he smelled the scent of smoke. Then, he heard what sounded like a young man and woman speaking. He thought to himself in suspicion, "Why are two people out here, in the middle of the night? Oh, I guess they must be-", but before he could finish his thought, he spotted several shadowed figures crawling through the brush and heading toward the direction of the voices! Sydo's horse began to slowly back away, until the young knight silently stepped off. Sydo wondered to himself again as he quietly walked closer to the location of the voices, Something isn't right about this... Could it be that these two people are about to be....assassinated? But, why? Then, without warning, he hears a thump to the ground, just before the group of shadows shoot a flurry of arrows in their direction!
He quickly hid himself behind a tree, so as not to be exposed. It was silent, and then he heard the voices of two men. Sydo crouched to ground with his back against the tree bark. He slowly crept closer, trying his best to keep quiet, and that's when he saw the man's long black hair, shining in the moon light. He silently thought to himself with frustration, "How did they find their way across the border! Damn those Dark Elenians! Sydo crept up behind one of the hooded men, and unsheathed a dagger he had kept hidden for such occasions, since his sword's reach was too long to swing, unless of course he felt like getting everyone killed by slicing through, and cutting down random trees. Sydo quickly covered the man's mouth with his left hand, and quietly forced the dagger to his throat. He stayed directly behind the man and did not move until he stated aloud in darkness to all of them, "So, you bastards have finally made it past the border, huh? Well I can't say I wasn't expecting to see you freaks, but I just don't have time for sneaky cowards like you!"
If I know one thing, atten-" Sydo, still slightly whispering, interrupted him with irritation, "Try to stay on the ball, old man." Crim wondered why the Light Elenian would just walk off like that so he decided to following, he crossed the river by some rocks, hewere slippery so it was tricky, he then climbed up the side of the cliff, he spotted what seemed to be a campsite but just he was about to go to it he saw some dark elenians, decideding the being sneakng might not work here he pulled out his spear and ran into the campsite, he spun his spear ans slashed two of the dark elenians, he stabbed a third and bludgioned a forth with the third's body, he quickly flung the third's body into a fifth and looked towards the last three, one of them seemed to be the leader, "I don't think that you are welcome here... or anywhere for that matter, so leave now or die" he said looking the guy in the eye, it was only a moment later Crim saw a hodded figure and the light elenian on the ground and just off to the side another light elenian, he had just killed one of the dark elenians or was about to, Crim didn't bother to get a good enough look.

The Krovi Estate. Not a bad place to grow up in, even with the rumor about them being traitors all because of one man. They still were a high class Noble family, and a strong one as well. Zetiskue Krovi, also know as Zet, was no exception to growing up with a good life. However the one he had been trained for, could not be ascertained. One may wonder why they even bothered training him, but in truth becoming a knight was always his dream and they would not stop him from trying. As history foretold, one man can make a difference.
Zet had heard of the legend of them gems when the races began collecting them. True not all the details were there, but he came up with a plan. If he could just help them, maybe, just maybe, he could achieve his dream and become a knight. He planned on setting out to search for the gem holder of light, however he discovered that she had run away. He was preparing to give chase, even if she did have a few days head start. His parents caught wind of the plan and had talked him into training and honing his skills for a bit longer however. So that is what he did day after day.
It was about a month since that time now. Zet, as always woke up early morning and headed outside to train. However this day was different. About an hour into his training his father joined him outside.
"Zet my boy you have grown in this past month. While your mother and I are so proud of you, we have been dreading this day. However we do know you cannot be kept here forever. We think you are ready to go if that is your wish."
Zet turned and stared at his father. "Thank you father, however I'm not sure where to even begin. The trail has surely gone cold after a month. It would have been easier if you let me leave the first night."
"Calm down my boy. There is no need to be so hasty. We know where the girl went and has been staying for this past month. Rivercliff forest. You start there and then fulfill your destiny Zet. We always knew you were destined to to great things." Zet's father smiled and tossed his son a few smaller bags of Gold. "That should cover you for a while. While we wish we could do more, it isn't our place."
"How could you possibly know this father? Did you have someone tail her?" Zet questioned.
"Nonsense. We still have our connections son and information will always be spilled for a price."
Zet walked over and hugged his father. "Then all this is plenty. Thank you father. I will gather my effects and then be off to Rivercliff forest. Please tell mother I said goodbye. I don't think she could handle if I saw her in person."
Zet's father nodded in agreement. "Your right, she probably couldn't. Goodbye my son, and good steed."
That conversation was two days ago.
By Now Zet had made it to the forest and already began tracking someone down. After a day of tracking he had though he finally picked up on a trail that could very well be the young woman's. However he had yet to see her, and wouldn't see anyone for a few more hours later. He though it odd when he heard what sounded like some animal in a fight. Normally it wouldn't have been so odd, but there was just one animal making a noise. If it had been two, then there would have been two animals making their respective noises. Perhaps this was a human. Perhaps the very human he had been looking for.
He headed off to the sound of the fight but to his surprise the first person he had found was a different girl. An Aquarion. Was she a gem holder as well? Were the legends of the gems bringing together their wielder's true after all? It seemed that may have been the case. He decided to stick to the shadows and follow her, hopefully leading him to the others as well. In his thoughts about all this however, he got sloppy. A twig snapped and rang out around him. Luckily he was able to quickly escape sight as the young girl turned around.
She seemed to think it just herself being paranoid. He let her think it for now and returned to a stealth pursuit. Soon after her pace fastened as they came upon the river's edge and standing on the cliff, the woman he had been looking for. He stayed hidden watching them, as the one woman ran away. It seemed the gems would bring them together again soon enough so no need to give chase.
However it seemed like this girl was ready to just dive into the river filled with sharp rocks in the end. To top it all off, there was another man getting close to her as well. Likely another gem holder, since this forest seemed to bring them together. However the man soon left without saying a word. Well no use staying hidden anymore. He crept out of the shadows and walked closer to girl, while still maintaining a distance from her, just in case. Zet was outgoing, but not stupid after all. "I wouldn't jump in if I were you. There are usually sharp rocks at the bottom of River like that, though I'm sure you probably know that already. Just seems like such a troublesome way to die or in the very least get hurt, if you ask me. No glory in it at all." Well there was no going back now, just hopefully lending a hand and moving forward.
His mind was still troubled by one thing his father had said however. "Nonsense. We still have our connections son and information will always be spilled for a price." If that was the truth, then it went for the enemy as well. In a forest there were quite a good many places for an enemy to hide. The there was a ruckus in the distance. What had he gotten himself into?

The flurry of arrows flew by them quickly. Tess hit the ground hard, dropping her sword and smacking her head. The intruder seemed to know the attackers. Anger flicked in her eyes. Dark Elenians had begun the invasion, right in Rivercliffs back garden. She stayed silent, wondering her odds. She was outnumbered about 8 to 1. Not to mention the intruder who had pushed her out of the way. She stared at him angrily, the sinister vibes still poured out of him making her feel ill. He brought these people here.
Without a warning, a man entered the fray. He had a knife against the throat of one of the Dark Elenians. "So, you bastards have finally made it past the border, huh? Well I can't say I wasn't expecting to see you freaks, but I just don't have time for sneaky cowards like you!" He said. Before she knew what was happening, another man entered the scene and turned it into a one man battle. He dispatched five of them, making it look easy.
An uncomfortable feeling overtook Tess. She had felt it many times before. The last moments of life. She raised her hand, ignoring everyone else on the scene. A blinding light erupted from her palm and flashed through the entire camp. Her eyes burnt a little, but she was used to it the rest of them would at least be stunned enough. What was left of the dark Elenian's force was crying in pain, holding their burning eyes as the light still hovered over the scene. She sprinted quickly across the camp and took Thorn's weapon from his while he was surprised. The sword hovered above his throat. A bluff, of course. "Enough! Battle is over. Everybody's weapons down now! Everyone!"

Dugon had wandered towards a specific direction, but he didn't know where that was, or why he even felt to go there. Someone in the Light Kingdom has told him, that was the holder a Gem, but he was still unsure what he meant by that. He knew that it was his duty to find the others, those that were also the so-called Gem Wielders. Maybe that was the feeling he got, the others that are ahead. Luckily he had filled his backpack with rations before he left, as he would surely starve else, because of his non-existent hunting skills. Three days had passed, since he left the rest of his people in that town, three days had the war waged on, without him being able to do a step towards the rescue of his children.
He came to a place in the forest, where the feeling got more intense. He was close, that was sure, but what or who will he meet there? He already felt uncomfortable by staying above the surface for such a long time. That was the time, when a blinding light came from the direction he was looking to, he quickly protected his eyes, to avoid being blinded. After some seconds he hurried onward. He stepped close to a camp, the fireplace had some still glimmering rests in it. Than he saw the others. To his right was a Light Elenian knight, that could he tell, close to the fire were a hooded young person and another Light Elenian, who seems to be the responsible for the flash. A bit more ahead he saw one of those he was unable to recognize standing above another body he just slaughtered, probably at least.
"Mh. It seems that you are the ones I was looking for."

Marina groaned as the woman turned away.
She hadn't recognised her.
Maybe she had just thought the girl was too young to be a gemholder, that had to be it. She knew this would happen. And now she didn't know if any of the gemholders were going to believe she was one of them. Still, she couldn't give up. Aquarians were made of stronger stuff than this.
She sighed slightly, looking down at the water.
Yes there were alot of sharp rocks but one of the first things she had learned were efficient ways to dodge such dangers when diving. And she wasn't top of her class for nothing.
Then she heard the voice behind her.
Marina couldn't stop herself from shrieking at the sound of the voice, turning around sharply and staring at the man before her.
He wasn't a gem holder but there was something... different about him.
She calmed down slightly.
"You seem to forget that Aquarians know how to dive without such a suicidal ending." She said, attempting a slight smile. Marina was embaressed to realise she was blushing, after all she wasn't used to being around boys much, especially not on her own. That was one of the bad things of having such a traditional society.
"Who are you?" She asked hesitantly after a while, her hand resting on the whip at her waist.

Zet stared at the girl as she spoke, not that his eyes were visible from under the hood that sat upon his head. She spoke of how Aquarians were able to dodge the rocks and whatnot in the water. That must have been useful, and from what he could imagine, will be exceedingly more useful in the future. He wondered to himself if each of the different races had such useful skills, without the gems, that would prove useful at one point. "My apologies then Milady. I never was well versed in the differences between the races. I was always taught, what others deemed as more important."
She started blushing a bit, but Zet wasn't about to be rude and mention it. Instead she asked who he was, while not hiding the fact she layed her hand on her weapon, he just moved more towards the river. He had a feeling that she wasn't going to use it unless she felt threatened anyway, so he'd gamble it. One that would be a kinda painful loss. He leaned down next to the river placing one hand in it and letting the rushing waters crash against his hand.
"You needn't worry, I am no enemy nor am I someone who wishes to cause you harm. I have learned of the gems bringing you all together and simply came to find you to see if I could lend a helping hand. You see I cannot help in the traditional sense most warriors could by joining an army. However that is a story for another time, as I'm sure you would agree." He stood up and turned to the girl, realize he had never fully answered her question yet. "I am Zetiskue Krovi, but most just call me Zet. You may call me whatever you wish. What about yourself? All I know is your an aquarian and given your current placement, I would guess you are also a gem holder, but how about a name?"

Marina nodded slightly.
"That is understandable, usually there is not a great deal of contact between the different races."
She watched him move, stepping back slightly as he walked towards the river. But as he started to speak, she slowly moved her hand away from her whip. She was quite surprised at his words. He was here to help the gem holders? Well, at least she knew she could trust him now. Perhaps he could help her find the others. Besides, she would probably feel safer if she stayed with him.
"Zet." She repeated, giving him a shy smile. "My name is Marina, Marina Caspian. And yes, I am a gem holder."
She sighed slightly.
"Well I'm really glad you're here to lend a hand because quite frankly I don't know what I'm doing. I haven't been having much luck finding the others and if I'm completely honest, I've never been away from home before. So I'd really appreciate any help you can give."

Zet smiled as she spoke of the contact between the races, or rather the lack of it. "Perhaps that is something that should change then. The races could surely benefit from some contact, however that too is a though for another time I suppose." He noticed that she removed her hand from the whip. He was relieved at this, because the thought of getting whipped wasn't a pleasant one. As she smiled a bit and told him who she was he smiled once more. However what she spoke of next was a problem. How exactly were they supposed to make it up to the others. Being so steep, it seemed like really only two choices.
"Well then Marina, if I may call you that, I will be happy to be of what assistance I can." He wanted to get a closer inspection of the cliff before he made any promises, but the river was still in the way. He took a few steps back and looked in front of him. It wouldn't be so hard. He ran forward and leapt across the river, with seemingly relative ease. He landed with a roll, and stood up, unscathed. It was nothing he hadn't tried before and trained extensively to be able to do. Unfortunately he wasn't sure he could do it with another person, so he had chosen to leave Marina on the other side for the time being. Besides she had already made it known that she could get across the water with ease in her own way.
Zet walked over to the cliffside laying a hand on it. It was pretty slick, but very durable as well. He'd be able to climb it but he wasn't sure about Marina, as it seemed she grew up around the water, not exactly rock climbing. He turned and walked back to the side of the river, staring at Marina on the other side. "We have two options. We can look around for a better way up, but there's no telling how long that will take. From the sounds of it, there is something going on up there and they may need your help, being a gem holder yourself. The other option will require you to hold on to me as I climb us up. Of course I won't be using the typical rock climbing method, so it will be a much quicker task. I'm thinking I could have you up there withing 5 minutes, if you think you can hold on that long."
He really had no idea on her capabilities so he didn't even try to presume what she could do or how she though. he could only judge by looks and guessing at this point. What he didn't say was in fact, he didn't know what he was doing either. He actually doubted that many of them did have much of a clue. However, as long as they accepted him such as Marina did, they were in this together. He just hoped that the others were trusting as well.

Marina laughed.
"If only it were that easy." She said, thinking of the long friction between all six races over the years.
She watched as he leapt across the river, slightly surprised at his agility. She waited a moment as she watched him, wondering what he was going to try and do. After all, she was no rock-climber. There was just no need for it when you're brought up in a mainly water filled area. When he reappeared and called out to her she thought carefully about the situation.
Sixteen years of proper upbringing told her it just was not ladylike to hold onto a man while he scaled a cliff, it was far too intimate. But right now the only thing that mattered was getting to the other gem holders, especially if they were in some kind of trouble. So decorum and ettiquette had to be put aside.
"Well, at least getting across won't be a problem." She murmured to herself.
Taking a few steps back to give herself some speed, she ran forwards, leaping into an elegant swan dive and narrowly but expertly missing the rocks. It didn't take her long or much effort to swin across the river, despite the rather heavy current. But she was rather thankful the current was so fast, it gave her a springboard. Using the force to propel her upwards, she pulled herself out of the water and landed gracefully on the other side.
"As for the other problem," She said to Zet almost like they had never stopped speaking. "I think that the sooner we can get up there the better. Don't worry, I can keep my grip for long enough."
She smiled again, pulling her wet hair out of her face as she waited for his response.

((XDD now THAT is ironic that what she did to THorn goes well with his powers XDD))
Ryu was suprised by the appearance of others, even more of the blinding light stunned RYu for abit, but the pain wasn't to bad cause of the hood he had on blocking alittle of the light. It was after the light died down that he noticed her holding Thorn's weapons in her hand. A look of fear came across his face at what she did, knowing Thorn to well to think that he would lose his weapons when they are infact attached to his body. It was then that he noticed, that the claws Thorn had were infact off his body, but so was the portion of his arms they were on aswell as he gave an psycotic glare to the girl. Having seen Thorn's powers before, Ryu wasn't to surprised, but the others might be abit shocked by a man standing without pain while his arm was disconnected from him.
"You pathetic lesser beings...you have no idea of the power your standing up against do you?", Thorn spoke out as he didn't care of the falling men around him and just glared at the girl holding his arm. In a split second, Thorn then dashed in high speed, his clawed arms pulling themselves from the girls hands as they reattach onto his body, lunging in in high speed to strike down the Light Elenian girl.
But before he could attack, a single katana blocked THorn's claws, as Ryu's hood floated off of him from his dash to get in the way as his appearance was revealed to the others. A Dark Elenian blocking another of his kind from striking down a Light Elenian. "So...you've sunk yourselve this far into it's power?...to no longer being a living being?!", Ryu glares and yells at the clawed opponent infront of him, "Have the Commanders of the Dark Kingdom's army really fallen this low into curroption?!", revealing the identity of the attacker. Thorn glares right back, chuckling abit as they both struggle to hold each other back with their weapons. "Your one to talk...being a Prince that betrays his own people!" Swining his other clawed arm, he lunges at RYu with it, barely giving him time to block with his other katana as the impact launches him into a tree, slaming his back into it.
Thorn stands up straight as he chuckles, "Pathetic....to throw your life away cause of a stupid ideal. You've long lost your right to the throne, just like his highness said." Looking at the other three, he chuckles abit as he steps back, walking over his own fallen men. "I think I'll let things go on for now. See how long you survive sorrounded by enemies, "your highness"." Finishing with a insane laugh, Thorn then leeps into mid air, vanishing in black mist.
Ryu, now laying against the tree he was just slamed into, just looks up, realizing what Thorn ment. Everyone single one of the other people left have now seen his identity as a Dark Elenian. Seen that he was infact the enemy race. He wasn't really seeing a way to be able to get out of this one.

Zet stood there and watched her cross the river. He was impressed, because after all she did seem kind of frail outside the water. In it however, she swam through it with ease, where he would have been speared or washed away, possibly even both. He watched her launch from the water and stand there next to him. He listened as she spoke. “Very well then, we shall climb up there in a few moments.”
He knew that he would need to use his knives to climb very quickly, as they would get him the proper grip. However to avoid the risk of damaging them he’d need to use his ability as well. While it wasn’t a huge problem, he didn’t want to walk around with his arms covered in blood either. He took out a canteen like satchel and filled it with water. It would be plenty to clean his clothing off afterwards. Placing the now full satchel back, he looked at Marina.
“You will notice blood on my arms after a while, but please pay it no mind. Just focus on holding on and we will get up there in no time.” He took out the only knives that anyone could see as his weapons and spun them through his fingers a bit before lunging one into the wall of rock. This was definitely doable. He turned to face the cliff, and now just needed Marina to hold on. “Shall we head up then?”

Tess watched everything in shock. For a moment she thought that it was all over. The dark Elenian dived and parried the assault quickly. The one named Ryu spoke to the dark Elenian commander. She stepped backwards, throwing away the weapon she had picked up earlier. The dark Elenian backed down, but had revealed the man's identity. It was done in such a way that made Tess suspicious, even more so than before. The scene was just too convenient.
She turned from him and approached the fallen bodies. Closing a pair of still, unmoving opened eyes. "So what brings you here your highness? Looking for a mine to put slaves in? Or maybe scouting out the village nearby for volunteer workers?" She couldn't resist smiling when she said this. The other two men remained quiet.

(Tsoibe you wouldn't be able to tell Crim is a blazian, he has his right arm bandaged up and that is really the only thing that makes a blazian noticble)
Crim stumbled back from the flash, it wasn't as bad for him as some of the others because of his home, a desert type place so it was usually very bright, but the flash was unexpected. He quickly blinked a few times and saw the light elenian had the head guy's weapon... and his arm as well, this surprised him, the pushed her away and and was about to kill her when the hooded figure got in the way and revealed himself to be a dark elenian. Crim instantly wondered why he wasn't doing anything and looked down at his feet, the last guy was holding his legs to stop him from moving, Crim spun his spear and stabbed down with it killing the guy instantly, Crim had been taught how to kill a man instantly leaving no time for the pain, he always killed like this.
Crim readied himself but then the leader disappeared, so the threat was gone for now, or was it? Crim looked at the dark elenian then at the light elenian girl, "Sorry for intruding upon your camp but I thought you might need some help with those guys" he said calmly and smoothly.

Sydo stood there behind his hostage, waiting for the leader to respond, but suddenly two of the men were cut down and thrown across the forest. Then another man was stabbed through the chest so fast that Sydo had only caught a glimpse of the attacker. He was like a red blur in the darkness. He maneuvered through the trees with ease, and threw the gored assailant over into another man, and then once again he plunged the dead man's body into a fifth assailant. Sydo thought to himself, "This can only be the work of a professional spearman. There's no other explanation for how he could move through those trees so easily." Subsequently the spearman spoke, "I don't think that you are welcome here... or anywhere for that matter, so leave now or die!" Sydo smirked at the man's words, and thought to himself, " He’s good, but reckless. Had he not been wielding a spear, that man would have surely been killed."
Sydo whispered into his hostage's ear, "It’s time to go to sleep." Then he quickly released the man and kicked in his two legs, snapping his joints like tooth picks. When the assailant fell to his knees in pain, he could only let out a short scream before Sydo slugged him in the jaw, knocking the man unconscious. Sydo smirked as he was about to speak, but without any warning, a bright light began spewing out of the darkness in front of him. Instinctively, he threw up his arms to shield his eyes, but for some reason the light didn't hurt them. He could hear the other three men screaming in pain as the light burned their eyes, though for Sydo the light was just simply, 'there'. It was like a white darkness.
He peered through, trying to see what was going on, but the light vanished, and the Light Elenian woman who was lying down, was now standing to the side of the leader of the Dark Elenians, holding his bladed arm to his neck. She then shouted with anger, "Enough! Battle is over. Everybody's weapons down now! Everyone!" Sydo stayed on his guard, but he had to make her understand that he was not her enemy. He slowly stepped over the unconscious assailant lying in front of him, and began to put his up hands up, trying to show her that he was not there to harm her, but before he could even speak, the Dark Elenian viciously stated, "You pathetic lesser beings...you have no idea of the power your standing up against do you?" Sydo watched in amazement as this man stood there with one of his arms ripped off, speaking as if nothing happened. Suddenly, he dashed away from the girl and his arms re-connected to his body. Sydo thought to himself in astoundment as his eyes widened and his jaw dropped, "How is that possible?!" The young knight had never seen anything like this before. It was unheard of in this world.
Sydo watched as the Dark Elenian man lunged toward the woman to strike her down. The young knight would have tried to stop him, but Sydo was dumfounded. All he could do was watch as the image he just saw kept playing over in his mind, though he immediately came to attention when he heard the clank of two blades and the names, 'Ryu' and 'Thorn'. Sydo's eyes focused on the two men as they clashed blades. He couldn't believe what he was seeing or much less hearing. Two Dark Elenians, high in the ranks of authority in the Dark kingdom were fighting each other! He thought to himself, "So the rumors were true. The prince of the Dark kingdom really did betray his own country."
Suddenly, Thorn leapt away and disappeared into the darkness, leaving his two other men behind. There was so much rage going through Sydo as he heard the young Light Elenian woman and the spearman babble on about something. Sydo's mind was in chaos. He could not contain his desire to cut down Ryu, and without any warning, he pointed his finger and shouted at the Dark Elenian prince, "Youuuu! I'm going to kill you!" Then he pulled out his large black sword, and began to run toward Ryu! His eyes were filled with anger as he swung his blade toward the Prince.

Dugon failed to notice the rest of Dark Elenians in the first place, so he wondered how the young Light Elenian came in the possession of the arms of one. Just than a strange thing happened the obviously owner of those arms charged at the young girl and reattached his arms to his body in the process. Strangely he didn't seem to feel any pain, or was able to attack at full step. If nothing would happen, this being would surely have cut her down, but the hooded figure interfered, crossing his blades with the Dark Elenian. Just than Dugon noticed the signs on the others body, he was a Dark Elenian, too. The short fight went to fast for him, to help, but still Dugon ran towards them. After a short time, the attacker stepped back and disappeared in a dark cloud, leaving only the mystery of who would be the other to Dugon. He came closer to them, standing now nearly behind the two Elenians. Dugon was still unsure about the Dark Elenian, but he wouldn't just kill him without having a reason. Just than the knight, who stood close to him just moments ago charged at the Dark Elenian. He had his blade high and screamed that he would kill the one, who had just protected the enemies of his kin against one of his own. Whoever the Dark Elenian is, that the attacker called "your highness", he might be able to help him reaching his children. Also he felt a strange feeling from him, similar to the one that lead him here. With one motion he stepped into the way of the knight, his staff held to block the big sword of him. If he would continue to run, the knight would smash against the former miner, who seemed like a fortress in front of him.

Look dude I don't think anyone is exactly mad at you directly, but rather the actions you took. Like Superfly said, you told us that you weren't coming back, and if you remember I even asked if you were sure you couldn't stay, and you still said you couldn't. So, really you have to admit, for you to tell us you are indeed staying, though you still can't post, but you want us to continue anyway...well that's just unreasonable. And Superfly is right actually, Magix and I did take alot of time to set up the new RP to make everything work out smoothly in the story.
I personally don't really have a problem with you joining the new one and coming back when, or if you have more time, and I don't think anyone else does either, because like I said we were all just kind of irritated that you did what you did. If you want to come back as Ryu, then you have to know if you really do have time, otherwise it would be a bit pointless and things would just turn out liike before, when you got three days behind.
I respect the fact that you started this RP and such, but once you can't handle it, then it's as simple as that, you just can't handle it, and there's no problem with that if you respect the fact that everyone else wants to go on. So, we're going to go on and develop this awesome RP you started, and hopefully make it bigger and better. And there's no need to worry, we'll make sure to give credit where credit's due. You can join us if you want and still have a significant position in the RP as just a normal Ryu without the gem, or you can not join us, and that's fine too.

Not really. I don't mean to sound like a bitch, but are you fickle? One minute you're saying how you can't post, but you've done nothing but that the last couple of days. Have you more time than you let on and are just trying to prevent us from moving on with the plot?
Now, after saying you were leaving, Crow and Magix have said they'll make the new rp, and probably spent the full day planning out how to do it, and now you say you want back in and still want to be GM even though you won't be here? I mean make up your mind. How are we to know once we get the plot moving that you won't pull this again?
I'm sorry if this offends you, really, I am. But this has been made all sorts of complicated because of you. You can't just say "I'm taking a break, when the plot goes to where I want it to I'll come back."

...ok..I "might" have taken a step to far in my time schedual clearing....>>
If you guys are still not all pissed off. I could just take a break from the RP for abit, having Ryu be taken by his family to contiue using the gem he now has within him, and then once the rest get close to teh border, I'll come back. That way I have time to organize myself abit...and not have to leave a well set up RP..
that sounds ok?

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
Alright so it's decided then. Magix will be the new GM, and I'll be Co-GM, but really this is gonna be a group effort all the way through, so any ideas or plot twists or anything you guys wanna add, then lay'em out in the OOC, or you can just send PM if you want people to be surprised. Anyway, I'm sure no instruction is needed. XD
Oh and yeah, I agree with Superfly's words of wisdom, too. ;D

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
Of course, and I agree with that. We need to get rid of Ryu anyway so we'll have some time to find someone new.
Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
How about we let the new person decide? It is their character afterall. If they're going to join, they should at least get a say of how they start. After having an idea of the story, of course. :P
Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
Hmm My head poses the question on does it need to be another Dark Elenian to get the gem? If not then the person who wants the job really can use more of a story that they would see fit. Maybe it's just me, but I find it kind of poetic in a sense if the Dark Gem consumes a Dark Elenian to be tamed by a light Elenian.
Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
I agree with everything said above. I wouldn't mind at all if you decided to stay, and we just kept going.
lol Well c'mon man think about it. The character could just be some civilian, or rather a soldier that just didn't agree with his country, you know like Ryu (excluding the royalty thing of course). Maybe the reason for them taking one would be because he surrendered or maybe even helped the Light Elenians somehow, but they just didn't trust him, and instead they took him prisoner to question him for information or something. Hmm lets see why would they hand him over...? Oh I know! They hand him over because they are low on forces, and Sydo is the only one available to take him. Sydo is requested, or rather ordered, to take him to the border and back into his own country. I say this with the assumption that the Light Elenians are "nice guys", and the King wouldn't have the gall to order him killed, so instead they dump him off at the border, where his countrymen would eitehr kill him or...well I can't think of why they would let him live, due to how evil they are. lol

I don't see why anyone not wanting to fight in the war (a "good" guy) would be there to get captured. I don't really see why the Light Elenians would even take a PoW since the Dark Elenians are such evil douchebags, and if they were to, why take just one? And on top of all that, why hand him over; since he would be thought of as dangerous and evil; to the Gem wielders on whose backs the outcome of the war lies? That seems dangerous to me.
Maybe I'm over thinking things but it just doesn't seem to click for me.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
We haven't marked you as an enemy, in fact I'm sure we'd all be happy to have you stay. You clearly said that your leaving though, and we'd just like to keep going with the rp. I'm sure we bare no Ill will towards you, and I would hope you didn't bare any against us for just wanting to continue.
Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
Not as an enemy. It was your choice to leave, no one else. We only had a problem when you said we couldn't carry off from where we left off, which was an insult to us, who put so much time into the story.
Now, you're welcome back anytime you want to. I don't want to kill your character off. Just don't spoil the fun for others, please :)

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
SHesh, it was a good RP, but looks like the one flaw was not having control over it. >>
Fine do what you want. Aparantly once I annouced me leaving I was marked as an enemy -_-
cya then, it was fun while it lasted.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
Yeah dude, that wouldn't exactly be fair to anyone. I mean when you said you were leaving, and let us "have" the idea, you pretty much cut yourself out of the cake, if you know what I mean.
Some of us were just thinking of ways of how to let your character still hold the possibility of coming into play if you ever wanted to join us, and when I PMed you, I thought since it was your character after all, then you could just provide your own idea of what to do with him. But, if you don't care what happens to him, then we'll think of something. I think most of us have come to the conclusion that Ryu either disappears, or he dies.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
We have so much invested in this already to start all over again. We'll start a new thread so we can continue and control it, but there's no reason we can't save all we did already either.
Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
A complete restart? That would kinda spoil the last few weeks of character development we did.
We'll set up a different thread, but I'm not starting again. I don't think that's really your decision at this point.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
I think your all taking the decision comletely differnt. I ment that this RP will die and you guys can take the plot and story of it to restart a new one. Mainly cause if I stop working on this one, then the only person in control of the RP is gone. You all will have to set up a new one....

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
Well a third of those posts are just our characters talking to each other, so really all the intro could be is just a summary of what's happened so far. The only key points are the destruction of Rivercliff village, the battle with Thorn, and um well I guess maybe the suspected rivalry between Zet and Sydo. (don't really know if that would count as a plot point, but it is something that will go on through out the story) As well as the overall story.
Well tell me what doesn't fit about having the PoW, and I'll try to tweak it. But, the point I was trying to make was that a prisoner of war would be good as child, a teenager, or an adult, and that type of character would be in almost the exact same "social" position, if you will, as Ryu was in the start. That was the only reason I picked that scenario of a character. But, just tell me what you don't like about it.
I have another idea that may be okay, but I'm kind of etchy on it. You know how in the beginning Sydo went to an "out-of-the-way" bar, and the bar-keeper turned out to be his uncle/informant? Well what if Sydo visited there to ask about some information, and his uncle informed him of some enigmatic Dark Elenian that had been roaming around (past this point the character could be roaming around anywhere, I just chose the Capitol, because that's where our characters are heading at the moment) the Capitol or something. Ugh.. I don't know. That's kind of a start on something, but I picked the prisoner thing because it would give more freedom to whoever played the character. That's really what I had in mind.

Re: [OOC] Elenia: The 6 Gems
Hmm, I was with you the whole way Mr Crow up until the gem went to a prisoner of war. Not that it's not a good idea, I just can't wrap my mind around that fitting, if I'm making sense. Of course Zet will be lonely for a little while outside, but once Ryu disappears I would have him sneak into the capitol, just wanted to point that out. So yeah it just seems like the whole PoW thing doesn't fit in my head, I suppose it could just be me though.
Also I'm not sure how many more people we're gonna get, I mean it's a general thing that people don't wanna join an rp past a certain point because of what they'll have to read up on (ex- The 200 posts we already have). So chances are, one of us will have to make the new Dark Gem wielder anyway.
I dunno, not really sure this post was helpful, I just felt I'd throw my two cents in (again).

Superfly wrote:I've got an idea!
(PS) I'm now working 11 hour shifts, so I know how you feel, Oblivian. Sorry to see you go, but an RP that moves too slow is one destined to die. I'm glad that everyone is pretty active. I hope there's a way we can write out your character without having to do anything drastic.
Anyhoo, my idea is this.To add a bit of mystery to the plot, Ryu should go missing. The next night, after we wake up All that's left of Ryu is the Dark Gem that attaches itself to Zet or Sydo.
That sort of solves the problem, and if Oblivian wishes to come back we haven't done anything drastic to his character.
Wouldn't that kind of defeat their purpose though? Zet already has his Krovi powers, and Sydo is there guard them, so he'd basically be a walking contradiction.
I don't know... I understand that would seem like the simplest way, but it doesn't seem like it would fit. Besides if we have a spot opening, then we get a new character to play with. That's always fun, right? :D
Okay so here's my idea, and you guys can deny or accept it, as I was just stating my opinion above, so anyway here it is: We set it to where everyone, except Ryu and Zet, is in the Capitol. The reason for both of them being outside the Capitol, is because I was thinking that Sydo left Zet in charge of guarding Ryu, but unbeknownst to Zet, Ryu is enveloped by the dark gem, and he disappears, only leaving the dark gem behind. Zet finds the dark gem when searching for Ryu, but he doesn't get chosen by it. (whether or not Zet goes searching for Ryuband finds the gem, is optional, of course, since the group could just go search for him instead.) This way when the group gets back, Sydo will be mad at Zet, and there begins the "rivalry" we had planned. (The only reason I want to involve going or being in the Capitol is because we put so much effort into our characters actually deciding what to do, and I think it would be a waste to do something else.) Okay, now here's where I thnk everything fits. Once the group goes through the process of walking about the town and everything, they finally enter the castle. While speaking to the King (which we'll have to think up a name for either way), Sydo is asked to transfer a Dark Elenian prisoner of war. What's so good about a prisoner of war you ask? Well he can know almost as much as Ryu did, or know nothing at all. He can be whatever age, and all-in-all he would be in the same position Ryu was from the beginning. A prisoner of war just has so many possibilities, but the only catch is that he would have to be a good guy, and just captured on the battlefield for whatever reason the player wants him to be captured. Now when the group meets up again outside of the Capitol, and Zet reveals that Ryu is gone, with only the gem to prove it. Somewhere along the line the gem chooses the Dark Elenian prisoner of war that the group is transferring.
So, what do you guys think?
(And as for what happened after the group left the camp and stuff, well I think we can all take the liberty of assuming that some fill of memories happened along the way. This would make the disappearance of Ryu all the more "sad" or whatever. Maybe, unless you know, they were bad memories. lol)
