An evil overlord took over a peaceful kingdom. That was over 100 years ago. The original overlord is long dead, and, after so many years of war and anarchy, time has started to heal the region again. In the mountains, a thousand miles away from the heart of the kingdom, is a maximum security prison that the original overlord established to lock up his worst enemies. Prisoners were frozen and preserved so the overlord could take them to his magical laboratories at his lesiure to have their minds rewired to his liking. That was a long time ago; the prison has been since quite forgotten. Now, the magic is wearing thin. Those of the "enemies" that remained are waking up, essentially unchanged. The overlord might be gone, peace may have returned, but that doesn't change the fact that these poor souls are in a dungeon, miles away from civilization, in one of the harshest climates in the world. They have no idea where they are or when they are, but they do know that they must escape. To do that, they must band together. Will they?

Rules/Stuff to Keep in Mind:

Be sure to state the reason why your character was a prisoner. They can be a helpless politician or a skilled mage, but make sure you mention why they were put in the prison.

There is a highly dangerous ice dragon named CHOMPY in the mountains. Lucky for us, CHOMPY only eats "invincible" characters and characters who kill off other peoples' characters without permission.
