Slouching, camo-jacket bearing lunatic.
Slightly above average height (not that you'd notice from the permanent slouch/hunch) ans with a nearly unhealthily thin frame, Nick does look abit dead. That is, until you get close enough to see the occasionnal full-body shake, the eyes flicking about, taking everything in. One could easily think that his body was consuming itself in order to produce all this uneccessary movement. He wears his long, average-brown-coloured hair lossely tied back, but keeps tying it back again, hating strands of hair in his face.
He will more often than not be seen wearing a dilapidated army jacket, pocket bulging with assorted junk. He will sometimes decide to wander around barefoot.
Is is pretty obvious that there is something wrong with Nick. And he knows it, most of the time. He finds that at times he has great difficulty focusing on reality, as his mind is often wandering, thinking of totally unrelated things or even on occasion, imagining things. As such, Nick has a tendency to disregard most unusual events as being a product of his condition.
Most of the time, he just appears pretty vague, keeping his thoughts to himself. During his more lucid moments, he's actually quite bright, and with a decent sense of humour. He's often tired, a result of insomnia brought on by remarkably vivid and unpleasant dreams.
He also beleives himself to be a sorcerer, but tells whoever listens that he doesn't want to waste his magic.
Nick has had a pretty common life, if you discount his peculiar mental condition. Having barely scraped through his education (due to occasional brilliant streaks), and having failed the previous year, Nick finds himself a year older than the rest of his class, and living in a small apartment. he hasa part-time job translating books, and a supply of money from his parents. he Hasn't seen the latter in a while, but mostly doesn't realise they exist. He never had much connection with them anyway, and does not regret their absence (when he does think of them).
He hopes that by staying within the educational system long enough, he'll find something to do with his life.
