Introduction

-----Story-----
A long time ago, in a far away land lived certain someone. For as long as we can remember this person lived on its own. If he climbed down the mountain he knew he would find many people there, but even so he lived in solitude. Barer of great power, a thousand souls and a thousand memories, this person knew that he was different and due to that he feared the people, feared rejection and feared himself because he possessed so many powers and was so different from others. That was until one day a lonely cat came to visit him. He was astonished with the unexpected visit. The feline greeted him respectably and said, "For a long time I've been watching you and you are a mysterious and amazing person, I couldn't avoid looking up to you. I'm only a humble cat with no owner, but, please, give me the honor to stay by your side. I ask of you, Kami-sama." Since then, as it was promised, the cat stayed by god's side and never strayed away.
God felt so happy with the company that he then had an idea, "Maybe I can befriend other creatures that aren't human, those that know the loneliness that I do. I'll throw a big party!" And so, god wrote many, many invitations and ordered the wind to spread them everywhere. Twelve animals answered god's call and presented themselves at his home. Ever since that night, every night when the moon glowed, god and the thirteen animals came together to participate in fun parties and everyone would sing and dance.
On a night with no moon the cat fainted. His time to leave approached and such destiny couldn't be changed. Everyone cried together for they all knew that one day they'd have to leave and the party would be over no matter how happy they were or how precious their friendship was, one day it would all end. But god, with his voice shaking, spoke words of magic, drew a circle in a bowl and made the cat drink the liquid. He then spoke to all, "tonight our bond will be eternal. Even if all of us come to an end we'll always be together by our bond. Every time that death comes to one of us we'll begin again and together we'll party forever. Our party will be eternal and unchangeable." All animals agreed to god's words and the first to drink was the rat followed by the ox, the tiger, the rabbit...and one by one all agreed to their promise.
When by the end the boar drank, the cat had fallen into tears, "Kami-sama. My god, why? Why did you make me drink? Kami-sama, I didn't wish for eternity. I didn't wish for the unchangeable." Those words were unexpected. To god and to the other twelve animals they were words of rejection. All fell into sadness. They criticized and tried to convince the cat to take back what he had said, but instead he continued, "Kami-sama, my lord, despite the fear we have to accept death even if it is painful, we must understand that we'll all leave some day. Kami-sama, you have no idea how happy I was by your side and if one day we were given the gift to reunite in another life other than this one, I'll wish to see you laughing, not only under the moon, but also under the blue sky. I wish to see you not only with us, but also surrounded by the humans and be able to admire your laughter of happiness." The cat shook his tail for the last time and his light went out. No one else helped the small cat, they all suffered believing they were betrayed by their feline friend.
The time went by and one by one the animals left, the last was the dragon and once again god stood alone. Years gone by and at last it came the day god must also leave, but he didn't fear death for he had hope in his promise: "We'll once again do our grand party, not only once but many times, for all eternity, unchangeable. Even if today loneliness consumes me, tomorrow they will all be waiting."

I’ve typed it in paragraph form to make you read them, I know listing them is fairly easy, but I’d rather know that you’ll be reading it rather than just skimming down the list. I hope the way it is typed doesn’t offend you, don’t be discouraged just because I seem like a b*tch. I’m much friendlier; I’m just trying to get some points across. =]
[The Role-play]
I expect you to be considerate of other role-players and their characters, while some people are role-playing, I would hope you would not charge in there and interrupt the pair without the pairs permission. I’m going to be quite blunt with you, it may take several posts for them to complete their scene, people have plans with how the scene will end, don’t be impatient, wait it out, take your turn. If someone offends you, or ticks you off, don’t be afraid to contact Me about the issue, we will attempt to resolve it in a way that would benefit the both of you.
[When filling out a profile]
Personalities must be 4-6 sentences long; I’d like them to be similar to the actual zodiac behaviors. Biographies need to be at least 9-12 sentences, make your character interesting and intriguing, I am looking for characters that aren’t dull and plain. Make yours stand out. Not all biographies are sad and emotional; don’t make your biographies similar to other zodiacs either. That’s rather boring, and non-creative, therefore it would be wise to check other profiles and their biographies before sending me yours.
If you are reserving a spot you have 24 hours to fill it out unless you've given me a legitimate reason to have your time extended.
Also, please send an example of your role-playing skills; this can be either a past post in a previous role-play or something you’ve thrown together. It needs to be the size of the post you will be making in the role-play.

I am expecting you to be semi-literate to literate, and I’m requesting two paragraphs minimum, that is 4-5 sentences per each paragraph or divide it up, three paragraphs with 3-4 sentences. I get writers block, you get writers block, things happen. It’s O.K. Just not for every post. Cussing is fine, though I don’t enjoy seeing the F-bomb every two sentences, nor is it really necessary. I’d like a picture of your character in your post, a name at the top and your zodiac or non-zodiac. I’m going to be quite honest with you, I enjoy pretty posts, but they aren’t required. What is required, is a picture, a name and which zodiac or non-zodiac you are playing. That’s all that will be enforced. This is a long term role-play, I’d expect you to post as often as possible, I’d appreciate once a day, but I know that’s not always possible.
[Zodiacs Standards]
Unnatural hair colors are fine if they fit a color that matches the zodiac animal. In other words, the cow can’t have green hair, but the snake on the other hand may, but the snake pictures you choose have to have the color green in it. The animal picture can’t have dyed hair to fit the hair color of your character's hair. I’d like an evened out ratio of genders, I’d prefer the Cat and Rat to both be male and the same age, just like in the manga they don’t like each other. The Zodiacs CAN’T ALL BE TEENAGERS, if they’re all teenagers it makes it boring and not as enjoyable. Age range will be from 5-25, I like a variety, as most people do in role-plays. We also want the God to be generally 18-20, preferably 19, and I don’t want him to be a ‘goody-two-shoes’… It doesn’t make the character as fun....Looking for a villain-like God who isn’t ashamed to scratch his zodiacs. =]
