Introduction
.

It was a mistake. A horrible, wonderful mistake. She wasn't supposed to be there in the park that day, but she was. And because she was, she ran into him. He was gorgeous, splendid beyond compare; the most beautiful person she'd ever seen. They had exchanged several words, names, a little of their pasts, and had accompanied each other for an evening walk.
But what didn't she know?
And after that evening, everything changed. She started seeing him everywhere, sometimes at such a distance that their eyes met only for a second before he was gone. Confused, she would sometimes go back to the park to see if he was waiting; he never was. But sometimes, she'd manage to catch up with him, yet when she tried to ask him why he was following her, she found herself lost in his charming smile and seductive laugh.
But what didn't she know?
She began seeing him outside her house, just sitting in a tree or reading on the sidewalk. It was a horrible mistake, a wonderful mistake that she'd met him. At first she found herself scared of him, wondering if he was thinking he'd be able to wisk her away while nobody watched. But then he began talking to her more, and they exchanged numbers. Every time they spoke her heart would flutter, the color would rise in her cheeks.
But what didn't she know?
He was a vampire.
It was a mistake. A horrible, wonderful mistake. He wasn't supposed to be there in the park that day, but he was. And because he was, he ran into her. She was beautiful, and her blood smelled wonderful; more splendid than he'd ever scented before. They exchanged several words, names, a little of their pasts, and had accompanied each other for an evening walk.
But what didn't she know?
After that evening, everything changed. He started following her everywhere, sometimes at such a distance that their eyes met for only a second before he made an exit. Loving her confusion, he'd sometimes watch her from the trees of the park as she searched for him; she never found him. But sometimes, she'd manage to catch up with him, yet when she tried to ask him why he was following her, he just laughed his seductive laugh and smiled his charming smile.
But what didn't she know?
He began sitting outside her house, just sitting in a tree or reading on the sidewalk. It was a horrible mistake, a wonderful mistake that he'd met her. At first he could sense her fear towards him, and he loved the idea of just wisking her away for himself while nobody watched. But then he began talking to her more, and they exchanged numbers. Every time they spoke his throat could clench, his thirst rising in his stomach.
But what didn't she know?
He was going to make her his.
