"They took my eyes, I can't see any of you or anything. What is happening?" He gulped. This was the first contact he had made with these people that wasn't intended to push them far away as he planned to do with anyone who crossed by his path again. Still, he found himself in the need of their help for now, and it was too late to take it back as of now. If someone was free...maybe there was a way out of this.
There was also an alternate way this could end up, if somebody on Earth saw free malformed humans would they not simply detonate the ship just in case they were to try anything? These could very well be his last moments, and the end for all six of them. Such a fate seemed like a welcome thing, emotionally Jacob was crushed by all that had happened in the last few days. Logically, there was no real life to be attained on Mars. Jacob had his chance to live, and he betrayed himself when he gave himself away. No, this was not his fault. Nobody should have to live the way he did, nobody should be engineered in a lab and then shipped off if they were not perfect. If anything, the malformed humans were more perfect. Jacob had the abilities that so called perfect humans could only fear and hate. It took multiple armed "perfect" guards to take down just one of him, and one of them still lay dead, possibly never recovered from the apartment where Jacob's life was taken away and sent to this ship that could soon become his tomb.
