Introduction
In the Beginning||
“Fire, bring us light and warmth.
Water, bring soothing and quench.
Air, allow us to breathe.
And Earth, give us shelter.”
An age-old chant recited by the members of four separate packs. They were Element-Worshipers, meaning they depended on the elements to help them survive.
Leikl, the pack of Good.
Seifal, the Rulers.
Vecka, the pack of Evil.
Miro, the pack of Indecisiveness.
And the Loners.
The four defined packs lived a simple life. Food was in abundance for many years. Powers were quite common among the wolves. Until...
The Betrayal||
"Leikl. Do not harm the Vecka," Seifal demanded.
The Vecka and the Leikl were always disputing. Over land, over prey, over rights. The Seifal took the side of the Vecka, not knowing the full story. The Leikl were expected to obey their leaders. Somehow, the pack of Light wriggled out from the dominance of the leading pack. They attacked the Vecka, causing the numbers of the Evil pack to dwindle down to less than six.
The Sefial were enraged...
The Curse||
“You cannot hunt on these lands.”
Six simple words that caused what Leikl believed to be the end of their world.
“As of now, your fangs and claws will have no effect on wolves, humans, or animals. You disobeyed, you cannot defend yourselves anymore. You will have to forage to survive, and depend on keeping a low profile to keep yourselves out of trouble with wolves and humans,” continued the members of Seifal. The Leikl bowed their heads as the curse set in.
This was only the beginning for these wolves.
The Blessing||
“Oh, come now, Pack of Three,
protect Leikl, hunt for thee.
For, in three years, you shall see,
Leikl will be left to fend for thee.”
This was recited by the alpha of Seifal. Leikl rejoiced with their new protections. The members of Vecka snarled in unison.
“Foraging and running from me,” the alpha of Vecka hissed, adding onto the chant, his venomous tone in striking contrast to the Seifal's sweet blessing.
A New Beginning||
“Pack of Three,
you have fulfilled your requirements for thee.
Now, lift your souls and set your spirits free.”
Every good thing must come to an end. Seifal lifted the blessing of the Protectors, and the three wolves seemed to dissipate. Things went back to normal, or, at least, how it was before the blessing. Famine is slowly setting into the territories. All pack-lands feel the blow, some more than others. Now, Vecka sees this as a chance to snatch Leikl's lush territory for themselves. As Leikl is unable to protect themselves, Vecka sees this as a good chance to get food. The Vecka try to enlist the help of Miro, promising them a hunting right on the land of Leikl. Miro cannot decide whether they want to protect Leikl, and risk defeat and starvation, or fight alongside the Vecka, and gain food and a better home.
Rules
Upon joining, promptly start working on your character(s).
As a new role player, you will need to be briefed on everything that's happening at F|L. So please, thoroughly read the plot, rules, and power description.
Get acquainted with the other role players as soon as you can.
If you do not have a character in one week, I will send you a warning. I completely understand if you have a vacation to go on, or something in your family, but please. If you still do not have a character in two weeks, it warrants automatic deletion.
Swearing is allowed. But please keep it somewhat moderate, not every second word; that would just look stupid.
You must respect all role players at all times. Absolutely no exceptions. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Please, no fighting in OCC, take your anger out in the role play, it gets the drama going and is better.
If you are going to disappear for a few days or weeks then please, for the sake of our sanity, post your notification in the OOC board. If you fail to do so, automatic deletion.
Do not steal any art, whatsoever, its annoying and a waste of your time. Just ask the maker to create one for you, if they choose not to, then sorry.
I do not expect everyone on this site to be novelists, nor do I want to receive a novel-length reply. Novel worthy, maybe, but not novel-length. I've noticed that many of the longer posts had more interaction with their character and itself, not with other characters. So, I am going to say, semi-literate and up. I do expect you to be the "upper-class" of semi-literate, though.
Come on, guys. Please, use proper grammar, homophones, spelling, and ooc/bic.
Pictures. I want realistic pictures, please.
Please write in third person in the past tense. It's more interesting than first person. :3 However, if you are absolutely 100% uncomfortable writing in third person, PM myxsacrificex, and we'll see what we can do about that, hmm?
Although we are a semi-fantasy site, I don't want any odd colors or clothing. We are just normal wolves that were somehow gifted with extraordinary powers. :3
ABILITIES:
**you are allowed up to TWO abilities per wolf**
Water Wisher: This means that the wolf has the ability to manipulate water. However, a wolf that possess this power can not just create water. For instance, the wolf must collect the water vapor in the air, or from a water source.
Terra Toucher: A Terra Toucher is a wolf that has the ability to manipulate earth. A wolf cannot create earth under any circumstances. However, they can move it, push it up or down, ect.
Wind Rider: You must be extremely lucky to have this power. A wolf with this ability can tear apart their molecular structure, and demand their atoms to go as they pleased. However, a wolf must be careful. Many things can go wrong when you get a bit..ahead of yourself.
Mother/Father Nature: Weather manipulator. A wolf cannot create tornadoes, hurricanes, or other drastic changes. They can, however, change temperature, wind, rain, ect.
Flame Frolicker: This wolf can manipulate, create, and destroy fire. The wolf can also be encased in flames, and not be singed if they keep perfect concentration.
Dream Catcher: This wolf is able to tap into other's dreams, and sometimes edit them to be a sweet dream or a horrible nightmare. This is more common among Vecka wolves, as they enjoy playing with other's heads.
Mind Reader: This lucky wolf is able to read other's minds.
Gift Snatcher: This wolf is able to sense a wolf's power, and sometimes "snatch" it when the Gift Snatcher is in extremely close range of the other wolf. The powers that cannot be snatched are wings, flame frolicker, dream catcher, mind reader, and wind rider.
Healing: If a wolf possess this power, he/she will be made automatic healer in a pack, regardless if the position is already taken. This wolf can heal itself and others, although when it heals a major wound the wolf will feel slightly drained for a short period of time.
Emotion Editor: This wolf is enabled to feel emotions around itself and change them slightly.
Wings: Self explanatory, this wolf possess wings.
Spirit Speaker: This wolf has the ability to speak to past spirits.
Plant Player: This wolf is able to manipulate nature. Meaning, the wolf that has this power can grow/fertilize plants, manipulate ivy, trees, ect. Common.
Spark Striker: A Spark Striker is a wolf that is able to create extremely small, weak lightning bolts. These "bolts" can easily start a fire, but a wolf cannot directly electrocute another wolf.
Snow Shower: This wolf is enabled to manipulate/create/control ice. However, a wolf with this power cannot just make ice appear out of thin air. They, like the Water Wisher, must collect water from another source, such as a lake.

And, I'm truthfully hoping you won't eat me for this, but I only just posted the character format. Do you think you can fit Honoo's character into that format? Truth be told, I was half-exhausted when I posted this role play, and I wasn't thinking of putting the format and such. I still have yet to add the specific areas to the setting, which will hopefully be done by the time you see this weak excuse =]
