Keep the drama to the IC. If you have a problem with another member, try and sort it out over PM, and if that isn't working, I will act as a mediator.
On acceptance, or when we have a decent member of characters, I will be sending around PM's to every character. Everyone will have some knowledge about what exactly happened on the night of the murder, something that they wouldn't necessarily want getting out. That way, everyone has a reason to be suspicious of everyone else. If you're not comfortable with the secret I give you, please do let me know, and I'll change it.
If anybody just magically finds out another character's secret or figures it out without too much work, it spoils all the fun. Don't do that.
I will be messaging the character who is the killer when I am happy with the amount of characters we have.
If you are uncomfortable with any theme that comes up, either IC or in a character sheet please tell me. I will do what I can to change it.
If you want to leave, let me know, and I will reassign the killer if necessary, and your character will be killed off or leave for another reason.
If you don't post for two weeks and don't give me some kind of reason, I'll assume you have left and will proceed as such.
Commitment would be nice.

The Wife:

She was well and truly in love with her husband once. Well, she still loved him to the end- but he'd messed up one too many times. She found out about his affair a number of months ago. The way he treated their children at times was the source of multiple arguments between the pair. But, rumour has it, he crossed a line somewhere in the hours before his death. Her children were her true love- so if he'd done anything to potentially harm them, who knows what she'd do to defend them?



The Mistress:
FC: Charlize Theron | Age: (30-35) | Reserved- XViolet7
He never told her that he was married. By the time she found out, they were all in too deep. Exposing them would ruin her, Thomas, and his wife. She couldn't, however, stay silent. So she reached out to his wife, and they came to an agreement to stay silent and let it all blow over. Her reputation was much too important to her. That's not to say she was happy. Thomas Williams wasn't exactly a saint to her- and as they say, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.



The Business Partner:
FC: Naomie Harris | Age: (35-40) | OPEN
Thomas Williams was an honest man when it came to his job, and always kept everything above board. So when she decided to play a little dirty, he called her out on it. At first, that just resulted in disciplinary action- but she was also warned that she wasn't going to get a second chance. She interpreted that as a warning to be more careful. Of course, it was a matter of time before she was caught again- and, again, it was by Thomas. This time, it was her job on the line- and how far would she go to keep him quiet?



The Daughter:
FC: Ashley Greene | Age: (20-25) | Reserved
The oldest child, and poised to be the most successful. She was already the golden child- but perfection comes at a price. Nobody asked her to be perfect- but nonetheless, she knew it was expected of her. Have good grades, be popular, get into a good college... She somehow managed to pull all of these off, but the pressure didn't disappear when she went to university. She realised that those expectations would be on her for the rest of her life. Did that realisation finally make her snap?



The Son:
FC: Caleb Landry Jones | Michael Williams | Age: 18 | Taken-iCat
The Williams were overjoyed when they had a son. Somebody to carry on the family name, and bear it with pride. The problems began to arise when they began to have their suspicions about their son's sexuality. Thomas tried to change it- thought that getting his son to play sports or go to parties with girls older than him would somehow change it. But it didn't work, and instead caused tensions between the patriarch and his son, relations that were only strained further when their son finally came out. He refused to let his son date publicly unless it was a girl, and wouldn't allow any males in the house unless they were dating his daughter or were a member of family. Did he finally snap?



The Son's "Friend":

To the public eye, they were just best friends. But behind closed doors, they were more than that. They were experts at secrecy and knew exactly where they could go without being seen. They managed to rope in a few of their good friends to back them up. But, the fact remained, it was all still a secret. Neither of them knew how Thomas would react if he found out. Did he take matters into his own hands?



The Illegitimate Son:

Thomas Williams had a one night stand a few weeks before he and his wife got married. He immediately regretted it, and came clean to his wife. They got through it with the help of counselling, and neither of them thought any more of it. Not until a woman showed up at their door with a son in tow, claiming it was Thomas's. Naturally, they went for a paternity test before engaging with her any further- which came back positive. They came to a mutual agreement to pay child benefit if she kept it quiet. However, the son grew up and decided to look for his father- and he found him. Thomas offered to pay him off to keep quiet- but refused to acknowledge him as his son. He was, understandably, angry- but was he angry enough for blood?



The Detective:
FC: Jamie Foxx | Age: (40-50) | OPEN
He was as shocked as everyone else to hear of the murder of Thomas Williams. However, his job forced him to remain impartial- and the deeper he digs into the family, the more he finds. He knows that the family is trying to keep him out of their secrets, and that's just making him all the more determined to keep digging.
