Introduction
The Holy Grail. the subject of countless wars, an object that can grant wishes to the one who claims it. There are those who wish for eternal life, others for their family members, and all sorts of other things. Greed and selflessness, pride and modesty, rage and kindness. All have been witnessed in the Holy Grail Wars. And now, just recently, yet another Holy Grail War had ended.
Wishes that have changed the world have been done, and wishes that impacted only a single person have also been done. But always, there are seven servants. Sabre, Archer, Berserker, Castor, Lancer, Rider, and Assassin. Always these seven, though sometimes it ends up being two groups of seven for a total of fourteen.
This is what has always happened, with the Church involved, with the Mages Association involved, getting even normally unrelated people involved with this huge mess. But this time, something has changed...
This time, when the Servants wake up, there are no Masters. There are no Command Spells, no one to tell them what to do, and furthermore, no Holy Grail. Yes, the Holy Grail that is so vital, that is supposed to be the center of the war they fight, is also missing. And to make things weirder, many if not all of them wake up in atypical situations. They all possess the normal abilities of a manifested Heroic Spirit, but some wake up into lives that seem to have existed this whole time. Others wake up in the river, completely naked at first (Until they, you know, use mana to manifest clothes). Others might just appear in some park or bathroom or something, but it is still weird as there is often not a single mage around.
Yes, it is just the spirits. No bonds, no call of the Grail. But there is something...something that feels like it is important to them, as if it was a Grail perhaps. But what made it even stranger is the location they wake up in. An island that is part Japanese, part American, as if the two cultures had blended. It is in that city, in the city of New Tokyo, which definitely did not exist before but now has a history, and with it there are even new legends never heard before. History itselfs warped a little, but it appears that only the servants realize it.
But as the story unfolds, what side will they take? Will they want to use whatever power is hidden here, especially if its the Grail itself, to grant their own wish? Or will they use it to remove themselves from this world, believing their time has been enough? Or maybe, just maybe, there will be those that don't want the situation to just be resolved? Maybe they want a second life in this new era, believing that they can enjoy life as they are reborn in this world not as Servants, but as their own selves more or less. They still possess their abilities, and even Noble Phantasms, but they have the choice to live as they want. Some believe their time is at an end and they should all leave though, others believe that it is their destiny to destroy the Grail and save the world from the chaos it brings.
So what do you believe? Will you be one of these Spirits? What decision will you make? Or will you be someone from the Mages Association or the Church? Do you wish to use this opportunity to take control of the Grail, or a free Heroic Spirit? Or do you just want to exist as you are, and safeguard that future? Or maybe, do you want...to discover what happened to the timeline?

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 3 authors
The sound of overflowing liquid of a strange and dangerous nature.
The sound of screams, of death.
The flashes of a sealed and fragmented memory.
All of that and more could be heard, as destruction rained across the endless sky...
======================================================================================
"Wha!?"
Suddenly, a boy woke up in an unfamiliar setting. As he gasped for air, as he had felt like something had gone horribly wrong, two lives flashed in his mind.
The first was his life, or his fake life? It was a life that was real, as all the events happened, but was also fake as it was created by magic. The life of a boy named Akira Romji.
And his second life, clouded and obscure. It came first actually, but for some reason it was impossible to truly comprehend and understand. It was as if something had intentionally shattered his memories to make it hard to remember, though many important things like his magical abilities and techniques remained.
"...the hell is going on?"
And finally, knowledge was being imparted to him by a third source. The Holy Grail...or at least, that is what should be responsible. But for some reason, Akira felt as if there was something missing...there was no Grail that he could sense, and more importantly there was no master who had summoned him here.
In fact, he remembered the long and fulfilling life he has had up until now. He knew he had been alive before, and that he was still alive. But, that life was created by magic, he was sure of it.
The first thing he checked was what he was wearing, and he was in fact still wearing clothes. Additionally, his surroundings were...an alley. There were a few thugs nearby. Now that Akira was remembering things, he remembered. These thugs were trying to rob him blind. They had managed to drag him into the alley. punch him in the face, and caught him off guard, but...who the hell would target someone like Akira for money? They also seemed like the bad person type, because they considered something like tying Akira up and leaving him in some abandoned building to scare him into not talking. Although admittedly, because he was independent he had quite a bit this seemed a bit far and Akira himself had the appearance of being easily frightened.
Akira...he could not remember his original personality, but he knew he disliked people like this. The people were still there, opening his wallet to look at the contents.
Akira was in a relatively bad mood, and these people had bothered him, so he decided to teach them a bit of a lesson. He took out a marble, and rolled it to the ground near their feet. And after that, he snapped his fingers...and the group disappeared. But only they disappeared, their clothes and other belongings remained behind. But, he was not so evil as them.
"They should re-appear here again in five hours..." Akira said, as he picked up his marble, and then went over to a wall and embedded it. He enchanted it, and it fused with the wall. "I wont steal their stuff...well, aside from the cash in their own wallets. But maybe this will teach them a lesson".
He walked out of the alley and into the normal street once more and...
"Uwa?!"
Got startled as he nearly got ran over by a bike. Incidentally, Akira had quite the complex personality. Likely related to his memory issue.
The sound of gunfire...
The smell of smoke and blood...
The final stand of a warmonger standing defiant with laughter...
“Eh?...This is not that mountain...” A short woman spoke to herself as instead of staring at a smoke filled skies, she saw the clear blue skies of an average day. Oh...It was this again...She was no stranger to this that’s for sure... “Could it be?...This is not a dream!” The woman suddenly leapt off the ground with a devilish grin. Indeed! She has returned to the land of the living! To fight once again as a servant! Time to properly greet her master!
Yes, a proper greeting as the Demon King! To instill fear and awe to the one who dared summon her! She places a hand on her head, sticks out her chest with pride with a wicked grin. “I am the Demon Archer Nobunaga, the Demon king of the Sixth Heaven!! Very well...I will...What!?” She began to speak as how a general would address their army...However upon realization there was no one around...Only the grass and trees that surrounded her...
She held her mouth agape as the wind blew on her skin. Where is her master!?...Wait a second! Why does she feel the wind all over her body!? Looking down She came to the next realization. Where are her clothes?...Actually this was not all that bad...But where is her master!? That’s the most important thing! She can’t even sense a master! Oh what a cruel world! Her speech she was always ready to give wasted on air!
“C-Calm down Nobunaga!...This is just an unexpected situation your in...” She slapped her face a few times to re-organize herself. First off...Clothe yourself...As much as you are confident in your short...Flat...No!...Your perfect natural body! It’s common decency to wear clothes! As much as she would like to wear her uniform...She had to keep with with clothing style of the world. Actually...This world had both eastern and western culture in the future! Now was a good time for some western fashion!
Button up shirt...Nice pair of slacks...Some good shoes...Red coat...And the famous backwards hat...Now this, was what she was talking about! If she had no master then she was free as a bird! “Alright! Step one...Head to a town! Then with step two I’m going to treat myself!” She smiled to herself as she shoved her hands in her pockets and began her travels.
First off, he immediately used his magic discreetly to confirm what he already suspected. He had no master, but at the same time he would not be dependent on getting mana from other people. This meant he could last for an exceptionally long time on his own, possibly forever. His own mana circuits were working exceptionally.
"I think...based on what I can remember, this looks normal. But, to think I got summoned without a master. And I cant feel a connection to the Grail either. What the hell is going on, did I just randomly incarnate?"
He had quite a number of questions, although one of his main worries was rather immediate.
"...who and where is Berserker? Without a master, that guy will be the most problematic for me".
Akira's primary desire was to just laze around in this world. Although recovering his old memories would be nice, he mainly just wanted to live comfortably in the modern world. It seemed quite nice then...well, he felt it was nicer then where he lived. He could remember fragments, pieces of his past. He remembered the fountain of youth, and how it led to him being stuck in his current appearance. He remembered various things in history. His clearest memories were about his magic, and his tactics. And about the Grail. Although even the clear ones were at least a bit blurry.
"I also need to settle other matters...like finding a source of money. Well, I can think of several ways to deal with that though".
Incidentally, Akira was not really bound by morals. But because he was still hungry and it was still morning, he decided to go and eat at a local café with the money he had on him. He also had not noticed that although he was certainly above normal specs, the usual durability and resistances that all Servants, even Castors, was lower then usual as well. Which meant they were not quite as invincible as usual.
========================================================================================
And meanwhile, in another part of the city...
"A strange flux of magical energy has appeared over the city".
"Such power...did someone secretly create a Grail?"
"We must dispatch agents, both specialized in combat and detection, to investigate".
"The Holy Church will likely send their own people".
"Then we must act quickly".
A group of Mages that had noticed a strange flux in the leylines also began to make their moves.
After entering the city and blending into the crowd...Of course being only five feet tall...she was looking up at her surroundings. She was definitely perfect no doubt about it! Being short was a special thing! No way people would view her as a kid! She could drink as well and she could prove it!...She crossed her arms at the thought as she grumbled incoherently to herself as she looked around for a place to eat. Maybe something western...
Eventually, Oda spotted a café through the sea of people...And while being short made this more harder than needed...She was proud to have located a place to eat. As for money...Eh, she was going to persuade a person to hand her some. She had a good charisma that’s why! She could convince people to lend her some meager cash! With a firm nod, she slipped into the cafe with a smile. Her first taste of food in this life once again!
But as he walked forward...he sensed a presence, maybe two, that were nearby. Maybe even more. It was powerful and strong, he was sure of it. As a Castor, he held the highest sensitivity to magic. While remaining cautious, he finished entering the café while searching for the presence and...
"Huh?"
The moment he stepped into the café, everything he was sensing disappeared. It was as if a thick curtain fell down, everything went away instantly.
However, although he felt like he should be worried about that, he was still hungry. Also, if he could not sense them because of this...curtain, then they could not sense him. And as he walked into the café, he noticed it finally...engraved into the floor, with the appearance of decorations, were magic runes of protection. A lot of them. With that, Akira finally was able to drop his guard again and just focus on enjoying breakfast.
"I would like a bacon, egg, and sausage sandwhich on a croissant, some orange juice, a few apple slices, and an expresso extra hot to go".
A very large breakfast at that.
Walking up to him with a smile, Oda stood right next to him and tapped his shoulder. “Hello! As much as it is is inconvenient for you. I have forgotten all my funds...And my gut wishes for some delicious food to get me through the day! So I ask you from the kindness of your heart!...Please spare me some money...” She lowered her head and clapped her hands together.
Surely he would not say no, a sad woman pleading for money. Only a truly heartless or selfish boy would deny such a request! This was foolproof! This plan was definitely foolproof! Amazing job Nobunaga! She gave herself a pat on the back for such an idea.
The woman then pleaded with him, and told him a rather sad story. The innocent, naïve part of Akira wanted to help her but...deep down, he just had this feeling that she was completely lying to him. He did not quite understand it, but it was as if his intuition was saying "don't trust her" and "she is conning you" and "dangerous lying person".
But because of the confusion regarding his memories and such, he was still not sure on what to do in that situation.
And so as he fought off the impulse to trick her a bit, he decided to be nice and believe her for now.
"And I guess...a muffin as well".
Well, he did not have much spare money himself either. At least not on him.
“Sorry for surprising you out of the blue there. But you know how it is...You have a busy day and your mind is all frazzled, you forget the small but important things like your wallet. I’ll repay you in the future.” She added while scratching the back of her neck with a chuckle. That is if she ever obtains a wallet and some money in the first place...Or if she ever sees him again...He might forget her face...No way! Her face was super unforgettable! With a charisma skill this high people would flock to her.
Anyways...Enough about that...Time to get chummy! And what better way to get chummy then get talking. Wait...She was famous in history...She should keep her real name safe. “Anyways, my name is Obu Odnaga. Pleased to meet you!” She nodded. Yep! No faults with that fake name. Well done Odanaga...Wait! Well done Nobunaga! Nother put on the back for another amazing display of skill.
In truth, Akira wondered if he could really call it his money either. But since he spawned with it, he went with the convient answer of "yes". So he felt no moral guilt. She did thank him nicely enough too, so he decided to drop the issue of him instinctively sensing it was a trick for now and just go with the flow. As he noticed an open table nearby, he decided to take a seat and started to dig into his food when she introduced herself.
"Ah, my name is Akira. Akira Romji. Nice to meet you, Obu...anyways, thanks for the food! Time to eat!"
Akira sort of just casually used her first name, but it couldn't be helped as his common sense was still collecting itself. Actually, although Akira didn't look like any one nationality too much, both of their names indicated a Japanese decent which meant he should have used honorifics.
it was only after somehow consuming all his food quickly with the exception of his coffee that he noticed that.
"Oh, my apologies. I seemed to forget my manners because I was really hungry".
He was sure it probably was not required to use for conversation with every single person in this city, since it seemed rather multi-national, and with a stranger...but Akira had yet to realize he had subconsciously sensed like there was something similar between the two.
Well, they were both people summoned for what should be a Holy Grail War after all. It was only the protections runes for some reason engraved into the floor of this café that, and a very large number of them for that matter, that was stopping them from sensing each other since neither one had used any Presence Concealment like how Assassin could.
Once she downed her short meal, she let out a satisfied sigh. That should tide her over for a bit until she got some money! Now...What to do after this...Eh...Maybe find the grail?...Head out to the west and take in everything there?...Both ideas sounded really good now that she thought of it. Such was the grand mind of Oda Nobunaga!
Still, there were other servants out there...She of course secretly hoped there was no big chested servant...Bah! Flaunting what they got because they were more blessed and probably tall as well!...Oh well, encountering eachother was probably a really low chance anyways! She wont have to worry about a servant battle for a long while! Heck, maybe she could become a rockstar in the West! Now that sounds cool!
"!!!"
Akira sensed it would be a bad, no, a terrible idea as he sensed imminent danger approaching him. This place was apparently protected after all, but wasn't he in possession of Servant Class Strength? Didn't that mean there was something there that was absolutely a threat to them? Akira decided to put away his marble for now. He had already planted several in the area anyways, so it should be safe enough.
And meanwhile, at a table nearby...
"Hey, did you hear?"
"About people claiming they got lost in alleyways and side streets and then getting attacked by a weird bull headed creature?"
"I think it is called a Minotaur".
"Yeah yeah, I heard that started up recently".
Akira, who heard this, got a bit concerned from what he heard. After all, he was still concerned about what Berserker would do. If Berserker went on a rampage and revealed their existences, that would be bad after all. And when he heard about the Minotaur, he was sure it was Berserker. Probably.
At the very least, it was something worth investigating.
They started to talk about other things like giant snakes and a report of a man riding an elk, but Akira didn't pay as much attention to that as it seemed those were less credible rumors. Perhaps this one was too, and it was nothing, but he felt like he should check.
Perhaps he would even regain some of his memories too.
Huh...She was in an investigative mood today. And maybe taking out two Servants and maybe getting closer to the grail to do all sorts of fun things would not be as bad...Yep! She was ready to clean house!...Well not really, she was ready for a fight mostly. Well for now, enjoy a few more minutes in this nice cafe and then go to battle! As such was the way of military life! Relax when you can before you get stuck in many battles!
Good thing this café was a good place to rest, and outside in public as well? Only Berserker would be a fool to blindly charge in and attack! She laughed internally but smiled outwardly. Yep! No chance at problems no doubt!
Either way, it seemed like it was something he should investigate.
"Well, I should probably get going" Akira told her as he drank from his coffee. It was a rather strong coffee, but he was totally unphased by the strong taste as if he was used to it.
"Thanks for the business! Have a nice day!"
That was said to him as he was leaving, but something about the voice felt familiar to him. Not enough to stop, but enough to notice. And as he took a single step outside, he felt a strange presence in the air...as if mana, prana, the air was thick with...supernatural energy.
Akira was not sure what was coming, but he had the feeling this day would not be as peaceful as he would like.
As Akira began to leave, Oda leapt off her chair. "Again my friend! Thank you for the muffin!" She spoke to him as she ran over to the door and stepped outside with a grin. What shuld she do now?...It was weird without a master, no one to talk the time away with and kill some time before working together to fight against the other masters and servants.
It was quite unusual, but it was interesting!
"As seven fell down, chasing a prize, blood began to fall as people cried and died. The seven caused chaos, innocents falling to them, as they clashed with each other until they all fell down~"
Akira heard a children's song. It was supposed to be about a group of treasure hunters, as they all sought an incredibly valuable treasure. Apparently, the song was meant to install a moral lesson against greed and reckless action. It spoke vaguely how the seven treasure hunters made each other fall down, vaguely meaning that they betrayed and killed each other over Greed and such. But the song...something unnerved him about it even though it was not the first time he heard it. But it was the first time since he had awakened, and it sounded a bit like a Grail War.
As he turned around on reflex, he saw Oda...and now that they were outside the café, nothing would stop them from sensing the power of the Servant that resided in each of them. Not unless either Oda or Akira somehow activated Pressence Concealment, but Akira was not an Assassin and did not know of any such ability he had from what he could remember, and so Akira immediately realized what Oda was and Oda would be able to as well. And yet...
"Ahhh! Monster!"
Akira heard that from a nearby alley, as well as being able to sense a dangerous presence there as well.
So he immediately ran after it to investigate. He figured this woman probably wouldn't attack him either while an unknown presence was around, even if she was a Servant. Plus she didn't really seem like a bad person, although he was still instinctively sure she had tried to deceive him earlier.
However before she could say anything, the two easily heard a scream in the distance about some sort of monster. Woah! Could it be the berserker? They had a tendency to appear more monster like than others! As Akira ran off Oda followed right behind. Another servant on the loose! If she gets attacked she would show them the fury of the Demon King! That was the truth!
"A Minotaur?"
It was definently a Minotaur, a beast of legend and magic. Something dangerous to look out for. But Akira could sense it already. It was a strong and dangerous monster, it was definently a threat to them, but...it was not a Servant. Which meant that this was just some random monster...that appeared inside a city for no apparent reason, inside this back alley...
"No wait..."
Akira failed to notice it earlier but he stepped backwards while keeping the Minotaur in his sight and glanced to his side. Surely enough, the path he had taken before to enter...it was gone. In other words...
"This...its a Labyrinth?"
A Labyrinth, it appeared that the back street he had run into was actually an entrance to a Labyrinth. He did not really understand why this had happened, but that was what apparently did happen. Even a Servant would be pretty screwed to face a Minotaur inside a Labyrinth, and depending on the strength of the Labyrinth, potentially even multiple Servants would face trouble. And they had not been summoned at the full strength normal Servants would.
"...it's a good thing I know a thing or two about escapes".
Akira mentioned that as he took out a marble, and dropped it into the ground. It glowed a bright glow, as it absorbed itself into the ground and then suddenly, the Labyrinth that he (they) had been trapped in broke.
It was only when he did this that he finally noticed that the woman from before had followed him. Sometimes he had a bad habit of focusing only on one thing, even if he was usually pretty good on not letting it show in a crisis.
"Well...this is good. I really didn't like the odds even now that the Labyrinth is gone on fighting it alone. It does not feel like we were summoned to the full power Servants normally should, but I really don't want to have a Minotaur running around while I am on vacation. Mind lending me a hand?"
He asked that, trying to sound cool but in fact extremely nervous on if she would help him or just wait to stab him in the back. He hoped she was nicer and more honorable like that, and not something like an evil Demon King or whatever.
But focusing on the real danger, and not the problems of height. She soon stormed into the alleyway that Akira ran into and noticed one thing. A big giant Minotaur and a passed out woman. Eh? That was no servant...She knew an Asterios berserker. But no silly Minotaur, its like if they encounter a Lamia or zombies and skeletons. Heh! Should be...Simple?
Looking around, she noticed their surroundings changed into...A labyrinth? No way! How did it make a reality marble!? Its not even a servant...Then again...She was summoned without a master...So maybe this was some sort of reality made by the Holy Grail which spawned the monster along with this Reality Marble.
She may not be the most smartest person, but she was not dumb either. She had a Military Tactics skill in the B ranked category after all! But enough about that, she was stuck in a labyrinth with a minotaur, and as an archer class this was not going to bode well...Because archers stay from range and shoot things, not engage in close combat like a saber class. I mean...She can fight in melee, but she is more suited to shooting things.
But while she got ready, Akira threw something to the ground causing the labyrinth to disappear. Oh! That was good magic...Immediately she came up with the conclusion. Someone good with magic has got to be a caster class. So that boy was a servant! Score one for Oda, and without the close claustrophobic walls to pin them in she was free to fire.
"Well then! Um I have to tell you a truth as well. I am not Obu Odanaga. As you guessed it as well I too am a Servant!...Now I can do my introduction...I am the Demon Archer! The demon king! I am Oda Nobunaga!" She spoke as her figure had a red glow to it, her clothing changed out. What used to be her casual clothing, it now changed into a military uniform. Her height remained the same however. "Aha! A mythical beat like a Minotaur! Begone from this town vile creature!" She spoke as a matchlock appeared in one of her hands as she aimed it at the beast.
"That's nice, good to know! I am the Magician, the Castor, Akira Romji. Unfortunately, even though you were so nice to give me your True Name...I seem to be suffering from partial amnesia, maybe something to do with this strange summoning. I also do not have a Master, and can only remember fragments of my previous life...though it looks like I may actually be hundreds of years old, despite my appearance".
Akira said that as he felt a few more Marbles in his pocket. He had pretty much an unlimited supply and could make more, but...he was not sure if this creature was really alone.
"I don't know how, but the Minotaur was able to use a reality marble. Well, in truth the legend of the Minotaur is lied to the Labyrinth so I suppose its not a stretch. Although...to be honest, it was not a fully formed Reality Marble it tried to trap us in. Thankfully, I am quite familiar with reality marbles so I was able to deal with it...we should be careful".
As he said that, the Minotaur had already charged at them and tried to cut through them. Akira jumped out of the way and then jumped off a wall, showing a nimbleness unlike a Castor class. It could be a clue to his true identity, though perhaps now was not the time to think of that.
"Flameburst!"
Akira cast a relatively simple fire spell from his hand and shot it at the Minotaur, in order to send it into a panic.
"The eyes should be weak, if you can hit them!"
For now, there was no need to go into specifics of how it used a Reality Marble, or how a servant lost his memories, or really anything. For now there was only one thing to do, and that was fight! As an Archer class she of coursed possessed an innate agility boost. She leapt up and aimed her matchlock at the Minotaurs face, of course unlike the heavily inaccurate weapons of old, these were plenty accurate. She opened fire and quickly dropped her weapon as she jumped through the air, quickly grabbing two more out of the air with both hands and opening fire once again getting to the rooftops. Three rounds, a simple ranged attack that should pack a small punch.
Of course she dropped the two she just fire and readied another two for the next round. "Our first battle! Lets ensure we take out this Minotaur before it gets out of control and destroys the area and the people. I am still a lawful person after all!" She called out.
It did not sense of magic, but he took out a marble and released it into the air. It floated up there, and then he immediately turned towards Oda.
"Behind you! Look out!"
As he said that, the Minotaur took a swing at her from behind. Thankfully the roof seemed totally walled off by higher buildings and...
"Wait...those were not that tall before...unless!"
Akira was not a fan of using all these marbles at once when he would normally have other options, but it appeared that he had no choice. He quickly used another, and the scenergy began to melt away and return to normal.
"The labyrinth is rebuilding itself? Then, the Minotaur is an effect, and not a cause. Something else is creating this!"
Akira then moved himself instantly behind the Minotaur, and unleashed a close range lightning attack to try and keep it stunned so it would not move out of the way again.
"Same! I dont have any intention of letting innocent people get involved in this. Hell, I don't even want the Grail to start with! I just want to live peacefully and lazily!"
It was then Akira being a castor class and being known for their magical smarts pointed out one important thing. The Labrynth was rebuilding itself and as such he came up with the conclusion that the Minotaur was just an effect. So that meant one thing...What was going on? Was someone or something doing this? Or was the grail acting a little weird this war?
As Oda recovered away from the Minotaur as Akira struck the beast with lightning she aimed both matchlocks at the beast. “All the more reason why I’m going to get that grail! Who knows what sort of things are going to happen but everything is out of the normal! So I might as well get myself a wish while I find out whats going on at the same time!” She called out before opening fire at the beast, this time She was more trigger happy in her attack. With each matchlock unloading their ammunition at the beast with a loud bang, however as soon as she shot her weapons she dropped them to the ground causing them to quickly vanish and have a new one appear in her hands to fire again...and again...and again...With her vantage she decided to go gun ho against the Minotaur to get some damage in quickly.
It seemed that Akira, among the normal basic magic that would be expected, had a habit of using illusion and spacial magic. He seemed to have quite the tricky fighting style, much more cunning then what one would expect from a Caster.
"Well you can have it!"
Akira really had no interest in the Grail, however...
"Though, just gotta know...do you even know where the Grail is? I cant sense it or a connection to it at all!"
Servants often had the ability to sense the Grail at least, so that if it got buried accidentally in some battle it could be found, or if it got randomly stolen by some thief, or some flying fortress, they would be able to find it. Since, it would be really bad if the Grail got lost or misplaced during a Grail War. It would lead to A LOT of angry Servants, usually, which would never end well.
The Minotaur was hit several times, but it really did not want to go down. It even finally managed to break out of the spell and charged towards them.
"I see...well, we really cant risk this battle drawing any more attention. Shall we finish this up quickly before things get out of hand...Activate Noble Phantasm: Fool's Luck!"
And then, luck for Akira, Oda, and the Minotaur would begin to go under some very drastic changes.
Right, as she got ready to pull out more matchlocks from the air, Akira decided to already unleash the power of one of his noble phantasms already...That was really early to use a noble phantasm! At least use a skill, the amount of mana needed for that was no joke. Still, for the time being it was true and they needed to win quickly...As such she had the perfect skill.
A minotaur? Well it was tough and strong. A mythical beast of history...And of course such a thing to her was along the lines of mystery. A massive bull beast? With this in mind Oda grabbed the sword strapped to her side and raise it in front of her as a red aura swirled around her. "Behold mythical beast! Prepare to face my wrath! Tenka Fubu - Innovation!" She called out as her power seemed to grow.
Once done, she used her free hand and summoned another matchlock while putting her sword away with her other hand. As she fired a round, instead of a normal projectile it was more akin to a small streak of red light flying at the beast with much more power and speed.
But perhaps due to a turn of bad luck, although every attack hit that Minotaur that was unleashed by Oda, it was still standing. And yet, by some sheer amount of luck, the way the Minotaur had moved, blocked, and how he was physically built, each attack looked as if it did critical damage as well. But that Minotaur had apparently enraged, and charged towards Akira, who had harnessed so much magic power he was floating in the air and even getting pushed back by his own magic power, as a huge magic array appeared in front of him. This was possibly pure magecraft, in its rawest but also most refined form.
The Minotaur that sensed that danger charged with its massive charging speed and rammed right into Akira...only, once again it was an afterimage, proving again just how much Akira liked tricks. At the same time, Akira appeared with a staff in his hand and slammed it into the head of the Minotaur, with a huge amount of reinforcement magic?
For a Caster class, Akira seemed extremely atypical. And at the same time, Oda's final attack that she launched landed perfectly. With that, the Minotaur finally fell to the ground. And yet...the body did not disappear. It proved it was not a Servant for sure, because it definently died, but it also meant it was not a summon. It meant the Minotaur was real. Akira took the marble that was already in use for scanning the area, and instead used it to suck up the corp...
"Graaah!"
"The hell?! It just died!"
In his panic, Akira threw the marble at him, and in a Pokeball type fashion, the Minotaur was sucked inside.
However, the moment that did happen the Labyrinth finally stopped regenerating, and the setting returned to normal. There was also a passed out woman on the ground, but Akira could hear multiple footsteps heading his way. Furthermore, something about him felt a little strange, he felt a pulsation out of the ground and staggered for a moment.
"Co...come on! If normal people find us, it would be disasterous. No, if the Mage's Association found us, it would be even worse!"
Akira immediately began to run from the area while asking Oda to come along with him.
